The pub lives up to its name...

It's terrible to go to the toilet...a dark hole painted in black...you can barely see where you're walking...a pity, because the service was really good

A review about the Dutch interior brought us here, as my partner is Dutch. From the outside it is difficult to see whether there are people, which makes it a little more difficult to enter. We received a friendly welcome and were especially pleased that friends of the owners were still present. Sitting alone in a café is so sad ;) plenty of choice on the menu! We actually wanted to eat something, but the sun was calling... we did consider going back for a plate or nachos afterwards, but that will be for next time! PS: we expected the playlist to consist of only Dutch songs, but that was (fortunately?) not the case

This restaurant is decorated in a cozy Dutch style and greets you with delicious tapas as well as with a friendliness that immediately creates a feeling of welcome. An absolute must in Blankenberge to visit after an invigorating walk on the beach or to have a pint with company in the evening. The operators therefore make it a point of honor to pursue politeness as a credo.
