Excellent Greek cuisine! Everything we had was amazing from the 2 appetizers of dolmades and tzatziki to the 3 entrees of pork souvlaki, moussaka and lamb chops. The ambiance was very cool too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Today was the second time we were able to visit The Olive Tree. P We previously visited in September 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal and hospitality. Our visit in 2016 was mainly because we had a vegetarian in our party, and this restaurant gave a lot more vegetarian and vegan choices than other restaurants in Bruges, which are quite meat-focused. Every time we visit Bruges since 2016, we keep trying to visit The Olive Tree, but the months we normally go, it seems to be shut :-( We were delighted that it opened again tonight (26th Jan 2024 - a day earlier than advertised on the website) I'm pleased to say we were not disappointed! The food is still excellent, and hospitality is still perfect. I can highly recommend the $44 euro menu, as this includes a variety starter, which is incredibly scrumptious. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Great place for a special dinner! Staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and portions are generous. The decor of the restaurant in also stunning, with great attention to detail. But make sure to book a reservation, as they seem to be fully booked, especially at peak times.

I popped in here for dinner today, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly nice, and the food delicious and very well presented. I ordered the beef stew, which came with melted cheeses, rice, potatoes, and salad. A stunning dish full of flavour, cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed it. I was also given a complimentary cake, which was very rich and moist. Overall a beautiful meal in a very well decorated restaurant. The toilets were a bit drafty, but clean and easy to access.

Really good food and service!! Fast and pleasant service and at the end of the meal they even offered us some homemade cake and a small glass of liquor. Would love to go back :)

The restaurant is the perfect place to have a cosy and delicious dinner, the staff is very friendly and makes sure you have everything. Fish options are incredible! We were even lucky to receive some special treats. It was a bit cold next to our table, but maybe because the restaurant only opened when we came. And at the end of the first floor I would add a bit more light cause it was pretty dark. Will definitely come back!

Wonderful. Fairly small family run restaurant serving simple but very tasty food. We enjoyed the mixed cold starters to share and all the dishes we tried were very good. Well definitely visit again when we're in the area.

The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is very nice, the decoration too. The food is absolutely excellent and well accompanied. The prices are very affordable. I highly recommend it!

The food at the olive tree was incredible - every dish was flavourful and the portion sizes were just perfect. We got our food within 10min of ordering. Service was top notch. Everyone at the restaurant was very welcoming and they even gave us some orange cake on the house (probably one of the best cakes I have ever had). We got the Feta Psiti, mix dips and olive tree kleftiko. A must visit when you are in Bruges!

Delicious lamb chops. Starters are a bit expensive for the size. The halloumi is a bit overpriced for 4 small pieces. Tasty dakos, but also not cheap. Dips were fresh and flavorsome. Complimentary piece of orange cake was a nice touch! Friendly staff!

Fantastic food and service in this intimate restaurant just off the busy square. Both the moussaka and king prawn dishes were delicious. As a lovely suprise we were treated to a sweet orange cake and port wine to end the meal. Highly recommend in beautiful Brugge.

Charming Greek restaurant with delicious well flavored food, a charming and super friendly staff and perfect ambiance. The added benefit were all the gluten free choices. I’m still dreaming about our dinner.

We came by yesterday without making a reservation and they were happy to accommodate us. The food was excellent! I had the octopus for a starter and it was amazing and the moussaka as a main dish was delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Authentic Greek food - all the flavours and hospitality of Greece. Keep an eye out for the specials which aren't on the menu. We had the crispy fried aubergines with honey starter - so very delicious.

If this were a vegan restaurant, I'd give it 5 stars. They only have a couple of vegan dishes and several vegetarian ones. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and an absolutely lovely meal! We had the vegan souvlaki and it was delicious. It came with a garlic tzakiki sauce to die for, fabulous potatoes, rice pilaf and a salad. I highly recommend it. They also had vegan dolmades but I couldn't fit it all so we'll have to go back to try them. We were served an unexpected but wonderful dessert of marzipan in a light syrup that was so delicious I wanted to lick the plate. We also got plum wine at the end of our meal. I can't wait to return to lovely Bruges and The Olive Tree for another delicious meal.

I first visited The Olive Tree about 7.5yrs ago in 2016 and had the most gorgeous meal. Roll onto this evening, 2024 and we finally got to return. It was just as good as I remember! Delicious food, attentive and polite staff. Would 100% recommend! Fabulous.

What a lovely restaurant. We went on a Monday night and it was so busy that we had to go back in 20minutes. It was well worth the wait! Friendly staff, gorgeous food, well priced (for the area) and great service. Would definitely recommend 🤩

this place is amazing. I can not gove enough stars! we were in Brugges just for a day and didn't have reservations since we just discovered this restaurant while walking through town. kind staff bent over backwards for us to find a table in full restaurant. we just had to come back in an hour what was nost a problem, because we want to stroll the streets a little more. when we came back, we had to wait a little longer, maybe 20 min and they were sincerely apologizing for that. as a apology they served us drinks, and desserts at the end. what a great gesture! so, the food was really good and tasty, real greek food. every one of the dishes was perfect! Huge recomendation for this little mediterenian place in Brugges! Orange choko home made cake, light, sweet just enough, soft...mmmm...

A fantastic restaurant. The service and food are second to none, the food was sublime washed down with a lovely Greek wine. By far the best meal we had in Brugge, we had a walk in so I think we were very lucky. Not to be missed while dining out in Brugge.

My partner and me, are in absolute love with the restaurant and food being served there. We have had a full course meal and we barely managed to finish everything. We had an elegant wine presentation, interesting and delicious starters, the chicken was roasted on a grill, and in the end we received dessert with some sweet liquor. It might be important to know, that you should make a reservation ( especially in the weekend). We managed to get two places on Wednesday at the moment the restaurant got open. Within few moments the entire place was full. Highly recommending The Olive Tree restaurant.

Fantastic food, nice ambience;) most expensive tho if u r gluten free! Especially the a la carte options so take care. Food is worth it tho!! And they did give us veggies not just pita;) Greek wine was amazing.

Money does buy happiness! Prices were’t all too high, and worth the quality, quantity, and added free dessert! The interior was nice, and so was the music. My only criticism is the staff, that was slightly closed-off and avoided eye contact.

Phenomenal place for dinner in Bruges! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge! The service was also worth mentioning as the staff were very attentive and did everything possible to make our meal enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Loved it! My husband and I went for dinner and we recommend having a reservation. We were lucky enough to get a table because we went right when they opened but others were turned away later because they were full for the night. The food was delicious and had great flavor and presentation. We got an orange cake dessert with some sherry wine and it was the perfect ending to the meal. It was a relaxing and romantic meal, and we definitely recommend it.

Really good food, quite pricey for the portions. Nice decoration. They give a complementary cake on the house for desert. We also bought a bottle of extra virgin oil from Greece there. Would go back!

Best place to having a dinner in Brugge. The grill calamari is the best. We got free desserts and red wine in the end. Wonderful Just make sure to have a reservation first.

Nice restaurant, located close to the main square so easy walking distance. The decoration is ok, nothing special. Staff is very friendly and offers good service. The food is very tasteful and nicely served. Unfortunately the wine options are non-existent, a missed chance. Alternative options from Greece are available, but a quite distinctive taste (which you need to like). A nice experience.

Very nice cozy restaurant. The atmosphere is really welcoming, nice lighting and deco. Playing greek music that really takes you to a Greek Vibe. The food was delicious i took the menu that comes with Aperitif, Meze (greek tapas), Head Dish and Dessert + Coffee or Tea... everything was really tasty and well done, real greek flavours. The only thing to improve is that i was waiting a bit to long before someone came to the table at least for drinks (i was sitting upstairs). I will really recomend this restaurant, and for sure i will come back. 😁👍🏻

Amazing gem found in the heart of Brugge! Cozy and very familiar Greek restaurant very nicely decorated as to make you feel at home. Very helpful staff that accommodated us without reservation, knowledgeable about Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with a wide variety of options to chose or menu option. The food was delicious, well portioned plates full of flavour, well elaborated and nicely presented.

OMG. the fried aubergine in honey sauce is to DIE for! The grilled calamari is to DIE for. Quick. Friendly service as well. We are returning tomorrow night as well for identical menu!

Cozy little restaurant in the hearth of Bruges. Everything was great. Stuff, dishes, lights, music, everything. I especially recomand the octapus apertizer as it was super delicious.
