Amazing brewery in the heart of Brugge! Very helpful staff and quite packed for lunch time, luckily they got us a table without reservation but had no luck with the tour of the brewery. They have a wide selection of their own Belgian style beers on tap or bottled. They have a pipeline in their brewery that goes over 3 km to their new factory. The food was really good and traditional Belgian style meals. The decorations of the establishment is quite homely with a terrace and a restaurant to chose. Very good beer, specially the blond quite more refreshing from the tap!

Nice explanations and I think the tour has the appropriate duration: not to long so that it becomes boring, but not to short so that you leave without learning new things. The guide seems to really enjoy doing the tours and will happily address all your questions. They gave us 3 beers at the end to taste- about 200-250 ml each. The last one was my favorite and one of the best beers I had in Belgium so far. - sometimes is hard to heat what the guide says. It would be better if they would use a microphone. Note: you need to reserve online in advance, otherwise it may be fully booked already.

An incredibly detailed brewery tour that takes you through a fusion of modern and old brewing techniques. You also get a great view of the city during the tour and at the end get to try your choice of unfiltered (or non-alcoholic) beer! I would highly recommend this brewery, bar, and tour.

Great place to eat, the food is delicious and quickly served. The waiters are very nice and attentive. The meat stew is very nice and delicious. We did not like their kriek beer it was too sour. The shop is small but has a good selection of beers. Near the entrance you can also see the beer pipeline that they build.

If you're interested in beers, you're gonna love this tour. It's a guided tour through their brewery, and it also include a beer at the end. In the end you will find a huge restaurant with great beers from the brewery. A little tip is to use some extra money to buy one of their Heritage bottles.

The tour is fun and interesting. Tourguide had some witty humor and is passionate about the brewery. Tour is not welcome for dogs, but the restaurant is! We went there in the afternoon for our beer that was included with our admission for the tour and in the evening for some dinner with our dog. Food is good and the beer is great, it tastes better when you know their history and process.

A great place to drink very fresh beer just brewed in the Brewery. There is also a Museum that you visit and see how the beer is produced and have also a degustation session. I would highly recommend it.

Will start by saying just visit the place if you are beer lover. Their unfiltered version of beer is so tasty and would recommend their beer tour for everyone where we get to chose either one or three beers and their beer history is worth listening to where in at the same time we will support them to keep this place in the heart of this beautiful town.Everything about the brewery is awesome including the tour of the brewery, their history and of course their beer.Tour offers an amazing rooftop view of the city which was incredible and can buy the beers at the store as well. all in all an awesome experience to anyone whether you are a beer lover or not. Go for it.

Visiting Brugge and could not have gone past the Huisbrouwerji De halve Maan.. tried the dark instead of the traditional beer.. it hit the spot. The food served is fresh and the service prompt and polite. Cheers!

We went for the brewery tour and it was great! They take you through all of the brewery where they still make some beer, they show you the evolution of the brewery from the start to present day. It was better than we expected. They take you to the roof where you get a really nice view of the town. At the end, you get to taste their beer or even enjoy some food in the restaurant. It was a great experience and I really recommend it!

It was our second time here on an excursion. Both times were different guides and it was a different experience and approach. But both times were interesting. After the tour, you could taste beer on a choice and seat in the restaurant with a nice view of the channel. Both times we hang here on the tasting for 2 hours as good.

We did the basic tour which cost €26 for 2 with our hotels partner card. It was very interesting, lasted around an hour and our guide Roland was brilliant, it also included a free beer at the end. An added bonus is the beer here is the cheapest we've seen at €3.50 for a 330ml.

It’s a real treat to visit and tour this brewery. The old, very old, and very new brewing all in one. Many stairs (some quite steep) so not for those with limited mobility. The guide was informative and explained the history and the beet making process. At the end enjoy some of the beer right from the tap!

We wanted to visit a local brewery when in Bruges and found the Brouwerij de Halve Maan or the Half Moon Brewery. We pre-booked the tour online for the Monday 4:30 time slot. The tour lasts 45 minutes and they give you a history of the beer, and take you throughout the brewery, all the way to the top, where you get a fantastic view of Bruges. The only thing is, you need to be in relatively good shape to do the tour because there are some pretty narrow and steep stairwells to get up/down, almost like climbing a ladder. The tour ends in the tap room where you get a tasting of one beer. (Although the bartender seemed annoyed that we were using the beer tokens but whatever). Would recommend this tour if you want to see/hear about a piece of Bruges history. The best part is that it’s about a 10 minute walk from the square!

One of the best places to get a beer in Bruges. I took a ride along the canals on a boat and we could smell the fermentation of beer as we were passing by the brewery. The local boat captain highly recommended this place. It did not disappoint! I had their unfiltered beer and the Flemish beef stew. The stew itself was good but not great; the meat was a little tough for my taste. But the fries and the beer were on point. So good.

Very knowledgeable guide. They asked which language. Last tour of the day when we checked in . Some of the museum is still making the beer, but no person seen overseeing it as it bubbled along. Some stairwells are not for the unsteady. We didn't go right to the top to see the view. Going down backwards on the way down and out. Still a highlight to go. Had difficulty finding the brewery, but differently recommended going. Free beer was much needed.

Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan brewery (home of Zot) is a great place to relax and unwind. The outdoor seating is perfect for a nice day, but there's plenty of indoor seating as well. Our group of 6 was seated right away outside. Service was prompt, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Everything was nice and clean too. We just stayed for drinks, and were not disappointed - their beer is awesome. I'd definitely recommend building some time into your trip to stop by and enjoy a few pints.

We stopped to drink beer and eat at their restaurant. The food was delicious we got a charcuterie spread, ribeye steak, the beef stew and the shrimp croquettes for kids. Everything was delicious and ready to eat. We sampled all the beers and they were also delicious. Great service by everyone in the staff! In the restaurant you can dine in or just lounge with a beer.

Nice tour, mainly about the old brewery which is now a museum. The brassiere bar is great. Loved the Straffe Hendrik Wild beer, with good food on the side. Best place to shelter on a rainy day! Good vibes!

Historic brewery in Brugge with a great beer garden and selection of Belgium style beers. Just so you know, they don't do fights of beer, and I got quite the look from the barkeep when I asked for one. With just one look, his face told me to just order a full size beer, and if I could handle it, he'd sell me another! A must visit if in Brugge.

The food is good but a bit slow service. Understandably due to season. Good ambience in the restaurant. We ordered the burger and the Waterzooi local dish, which was light and tasty. The blond beers went well with the chicken.

Visiting this brewery in Bruges was a highlight of my trip. The brewery tour was fascinating, offering a deep dive into the brewing process and history. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. The atmosphere of the brewery was inviting, with a great mix of locals and tourists. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the veiw of the town. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone visiting Bruges. It's an experience that combines education, tasting, and the joy of discovering new beers. A must-visit for beer enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike!

The guided tour of the brewery is a must see in Brugge. They show you the brewing process and the different combinations to come up with their nine beer types. The tour takes you to the top of the building where you have fantastic views of the city, and awards you with an unfiltered beer! Make sure to visit on weekday since the master brewers do not work on weekends and you won’t see the tanks full.

You can taste local beers here. You have dark and blond beers, no fruit/cider. They have options for food. We ordered the local cheeses and meats, it was oki for the price (€17).

We loved the tour here. While still functional, much of the brewery is a museum to how the process used to work. The active brewing is more compact and bottling happens off-site. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and we appr coated option for an English tour. The beer at the end was 👌.

Had a really great time at the the brewery tour, they gave really interesting detail about the brewery and the area and how beer and process was developed. The tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting and you get really fantastic views from the top of the building. I would highly recommend this tour.

Went here back in April of 2023! Booked the English tour in advance, which I would recommend. They take you up to the roof....it has great views of the town. I also had a beer and lunch there. The food was good and affordable.

We were so excited to come here. It is a beautiful place, and had many wonderful seating areas. The beer looked very tasty, however we were unable to get a beer or seat so we left to another beer place. Please bite: This is a delayed review ans incident did not occur today.

One of the best brewery tours I have been on! Having been to at least a dozen different brewery tours, this one was the most educational about beer. Most tours will try to entertain you with bells and whistles, this one will give you the ins and outs of over 175 years of brewing history. To top it off you'll have one of the best views of the city at the pinnacle of the tour. Be prepared to do many stairs and they will be steep. At the end of the tour you will have earned yourself a lovely non-pasturized beer in their welcoming tavern or terrace. The guide was excellent. Tours are available in Dutch, English, or French.

Great venue with really fresh unfiltered beer straight from the brewery. The tour is also a lot of fun and at a good price. Flemish beer stew is excellent and service is great.

Great place with a very unique atmosphere, really good choice of local beers which were very good. The menu looked great too however we were there too late to order anything, what a shame! Maybe next time, as well as a tour in the brewery. Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of tables to sit and enjoy a beer of your choice.

One of the smoothest beers I've had in Europe, in a brasserie that invites comfort, with a friendly staff and an ambiance that kept my partner and I glued firmly inside, despite all of the magic around us in Bruges. I will definitely be back here. And will be seeking the half moon beers when I return home. Definitely not to miss!

Make reservations for a guided tour, it's worth the wait. Very informative and gets you to understand the long tradition of brewing in Brügge. It may be challenging for those afraid of tight places and narrow and steep stairs. On the other side it offers some feel for the work environment in the 1960ies. We followed the guides advice and went from single to double and triple beers. But the quadruple heritage was in my opinion the best.
