This medieval church is a treasure, one of the rich museums by itself. Pay attention to quite unique wall painted graves. It also has a collection of tapestries. Pity that treasury is closed on weekends. I suggest not to forget a donation for maintenance of this beautiful church.

I love this cathedral. Lots of things to observe and it isn't (wasn't) crowded when we were there. It is located in some dense neighborhood, but feels very honey.

I did not add this cathedral on my visit list, however, I am glad that I found it. Incredibly beautiful church with so many intricate artistic decorations, contains many oil paintings and huge tapestry from middle ages.

Perhaps a good place to find some inner peace even for the non religious folks. Artifacts on display could be dated to 1400s

This is a nice church to visit that also has a small museum inside it, although I didn't personally visit the museum section. The church itself is fairly spacious and people seemed to be going in and out during a busy time of the day for tourists in that neighborhood, but it never felt crowded while I was walking around.

Beautiful place. It is free to enter but watch out on Christian holidays and prayer times, some hours are banned for tourists. You can visit the treasure for free too, 100% recommended

The Saint-Salvator Cathedral (the main church of the city) is one of the few buildings in Bruges that have survived the onslaught of the ages without damage. Nevertheless, it has undergone some changes and renovations. This church was not originally built to be a cathedral; it was granted this status in the 19th century.

Of all the cathedrals I've seen, this is one of the most exquisite. Many high value paintings; guild shields against the inner walls. Worth your while.
