We booked the junior suite, a stunning room in the loft, open beams, amazing views, unbeatable location, spacious, clean, good quality linens and warm. Reception were polite, friendly and welcoming. We would return and recommend. There are some people who reviewed negatively… please remember it’s not a 5* hotel it’s a 2* hotel, if it had a refurbishment you’d expect pay £500pn not £120pn. If you’re looking for a posh marble reception look elsewhere, if you’re looking for clean, great value, perfect location look no further. Cheap, clean and cheerful. I know people prefer newer things but the bed was comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was amazing. The location is at the heart of the city centre and the option to rent bikes. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe there.

Just the position was good, the room was dirty,the bathroom broken and no air conditioning.. The price was very high 270 for two night without breakfast. Never came here again.

Basic and clean rooms, standard breakfast provided into a paper bag to have it on some balconies (if the weather allows it) or at the rooms. The location is really amazing as it is close to central square. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is right next to Belfort so you are really central for the Market, the shops, restaurants & sights. Also you are treated to the carillon concerts from the belfry in the comfort of your own room. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They also rent out bikes. Our room was basic but had everything we needed. Great value for the price we paid.

Overbooking in August. I arrived at 18h at checkout. They called me at 17h to check if I was really coming or not. I said Yes and already paid. I first thought they were friendly and cared about me. They were ready to use my room for another guest if I won't show up. The rooms were tiny. Good location. One advantage are the bikes. You can rent a bike for 24h. Good value rent for the money. The hotel staff tends to be slow for whatever paperwork, sign, or eat something.

2nd floor, broken elevator and unpractical stairs. Rooms too hot and without air conditioning. Glad it was only 1 night.

Pretty nice accommodation, we had a cosy and large room with a balcony. The room was clean and nice and what I liked the most was the view from our balcony to the belfry. The breakfast was also very decent with nice croissants. Overall I enjoyed it a lot and I recommend it especially for it's amazing location in the heart of Bruges!

If you need a room that can sleep 6 this is likely your only option in the city center but the room and hotel itself was in poor condition other than the beds themselves. They were clean and relatively comfortable. Everything else needed to be replaced. You pay for the location as it is right next to the Belfry which is incredible but with just some cosmetic updating this hotel could be excellent.

Excellent location, very kind staff, small room but very clean and comfortable bed. There is no aircondition in the room (only ventilator) but no need it because of weather. Special thanks to Luke the very kind and helpful receptionist.

The hotel would need a few renovations, since some of the appliances are a bit old. I would have also appreciated more cutlery and dishes. However, I got a bigger room then what I had payed for, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent : the staff and receptionist were very nice and helpful. Plus, the hotel is very nicely located as it is in the center of the city.

We stayed in this hotel on the first and last night if our 4 week trip around Europe! The first night my son was travelling with us and the staff were so helpful in getting us a room to accommodate another single bed for him! It was a huge room with all original beams - very clean with a big lovely bed! We were 2 mins frim the square and the manager allowed us to park our motorbike right outside 😀 Almost 4 weeks later we rocked back up in Bruges and the man recognised us and gave us the same room minus the single bed - brilliant - cannot fault this hotel! They also hire bicycles so I saw 😀

Great room and perfect location. Staff was very friendly as well. Priced well for the location in the center of the city. Bruges looks much different at night and in the morning without all of the day trippers.

This is a simple, basic but clean hotel. Front desk is excellent. Hotel is steps to everything one can look for while visiting Bruges. Shops, tours, pubs, several restaurants and chocolate stores. Pet friendly 🐶

This place is in one of the best locations to walk and see all the sites of Bruges. Very reasonably priced as we got a room to sleep 5 (3 twin beds for kids) for less than €150/night! Best restaurant right downstairs, a great pub, waffles around the corner, and everything else you could want. Bathroom is tiny, but really only stayed in the room to sleep, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly!

The hotel is located in a excellent area, close to all activities, tours, etc. We had a delay with check in, but it was resolved and they allowed us to leave our luggage in the meantime. The staff is very friendly. The room had coffee and tea, and had its own electric kettle. It has an elevator! Which is essential if you have a lot of luggage. We stayed only one night and the quality/price ratio was good.

Untidy unorganised lobby. Staff polite and helpful. Lift not working. Dark corridors. Breakfast had to be collected by guest each morning, served in a paper bag to be eaten in room or out in the streets. No towel hooks or soap holder in bathroom. Bed comfortable and nice linen. Excellent location

Hotel is just in the center of the market. Very convenient. You get many restaurants, shops near by. It was decent stay there. Only thing is room is small and bathroom is also very small. Other than that everything was good. Receptionist was very kind and helpful.

True... The hotel is a bit 'vintage' and not very luxury, but there are at least 7 very positive advantages: 1/ very well located in the historical heart of the city (next to the belfry). 2/ A terrace with a few tables on the first floor where you can hear the chimes from the belfry. It's very pleasant to eat a small sandwich at noon with when there is sun. 3/ a super fresh breakfast brought directly from a local baker. Crunchy pastries, slices of good artisanal bread, Belgian yoghurt. 4/ a kettle in the room to make a coffee or a tea. 5/ At night, it is very quiet 6/ The room is clean and the mattress comfortable. 7/ The friendly staff. So, if the idea is to spend some time in the city (and go back to the hotel to sleep), the Koffieboontje is perfect.

Hotel Koffieboonje just in heart of Brugge, fantastic location, fantastic area of Brugge. I been there only a day but I am more then happy with all. The service was unbelievable friendly and great. Definitely want to go back and only use this small, traditional building to my family to accommodation. I wish the best to the staff.

I am quite happy with this Hotel. The room was located just under the main square's tower, so it had a beautiful view of it and we could also see the beautiful square from the window. The bed was amazing, very soft and so were the pillows. Cleanliness was good. There was a TV with also foreign channels, including entertaining Italian cooking classes for my kid. Overall the room was good considering it is not the most modern hotel were I have been, but for the price we spent it was a very good deal. The position of the Hotel is super, in fact it is located on the side of the very central square, you cannot get a better position than this. They also rent bikes and provide discount for the restaurant near the Hotel. Check in was a little delayed but there was a luggage deposit where we could leave our bags. The Hotel had a very good price. I would highly reccomend it.

Let's face it, it's not a high quality hotel, but it's super well located (but without parking), the rooms are small, old fashioned but clean and the included breakfast is better than what I was expecting. I've got two complains: first, the dining room is very dark, anyine with visual disabilities is going to be in a lot of trouble; they just provide one key room per room.

The hotel is situated in a good place. The staff was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Our room had a balcony so that's a bonus. However the room itself was a big no. Dirty carpet and chairs that had stains. Towels that had hair on them. The room was smelly overall. The bed wasn't that comfortable. The faucet was dripping water to the ground when we were using it because it had a little side leak. One of the two curtains was broken and we couldn't close it and as a result light was getting inside the room early in the morning.

You get a very nice and well kept Hotel for the best price in Brugge. Spacey and comfortable, has a fridge and the room division is good. Minor flaws are the single bathroom in the separate room and the smell outside one of the windows which made it hard to let air in properly.

Nice budget hotel!! Location cannot be better, right behind the main market square. I had the view of belfry tower from my window. Room was pretty clean. Room size is small but ok for one person. Bed was also comfortable.

We stayed there a few days ago at this hotel. The hotel is close to everything and a few steps from market square, the price is great and you can take your pet. Access by car to the hotel is a bit difficult since the public parking lot is 6 blocks away. The reception was a bit disorganized although the employees are friendly. The guestroom is clean although the floors need a new carpet. The bathroom had all the essentials and the water pressure is good. The internet works fine. There are some things that need to improve: There is no daily cleaning, it is a bit noisy before 11:45 pm by the customers of the bar and restaurants. In summer it is hot and if you open the windows you can hear too much noise. After 12am you can sleep well and with the windows open for fresh air.
