Hotel had a clear cycling theme throughout which I hadn’t realised before booking, but it was nice all the same. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was decent. Room was spacious and clean, had everything you’d need. About a 40/45 minute walk into the centre (market square) however there’s a bus service nearby that runs every 20 minutes up until 8pm which we made use of. Would recommend to others that are happy to stay slightly out of the centre.

Very nice hotel just 2 km / 5-10 min drive from Brugge city center and underground parking 't-Zandt. Also, a great location in the middle of nature with sheep grazing and great walking treks. The hotel is great with a well equipped gym, sauna and relaxation room but a bit disappointed that you have to pay BY the hour for a late checkout which is €10. But overall, it was great and highly recommended.

The hotel is alright, a little bit too far of everything, so don’t expect to find stores, markets or food nearby (20 min walk at least). The reception staff is very poor and unprofessional… they don’t help customers at all unless you speak their language… one man was sitting by his desk and didn’t event approach me, I asked for help in many different ways and he just stayed behind his desk giving short responses, not even making eye contact… that for me is a very bad customer service (I was having trouble with the delivery and tried to tell him if he could give the Uber directions, but seems like he didn’t cared at all). The restaurant looked fine, sadly the kitchen closes at 9pm, so if you are arriving late like us, your only chance is delivery. Be aware, the tower 1B is “hidden” inside the complex and the Uber might not find it. You might have to walk outside (it’s very cold).

Great hotel, especially if you are into cycling. Everything has a bicycle theme, and I do mean everything! The rooms are clean and modern with a hilarious glass box containing the shower and toilet - best to know the person you are sharing with very well beforehand. 🤣 Breakfast is a buffet with hot and cold food available. Evening meals are available in the same restaurant but you must pre-book, even if it is only 15 minutes in the future. Bruges Town is a pleasant 30-40 minute walk away. Whilst there are better located hotels right in Bruges, they will be much more expensive. I would definitely use this hotel again.

When we arrived we were told that sauna is booked for the next two days and that we had to reserve it in advance (we were staying only two days) I find it a little bit stupid, btw the receptionist didn’t seem to be upset with it at all, and just ignored it… Our room was pretty dirty, the floor wasn’t cleaned and we could see dust on the floor..

Good, not great, place to stay while visiting Bruges. Close enough to walk into the centre, far enough out to be quiet. Everything is bicycle themed which was just slightly too much for me - I'd have preferred a better breakfast tbh.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine. Quiet area. A bit far from the town so can be a bit of a walk and public transport is not easy to access. But cycling is 10 minutes away. Staff will arrange taxi too.

Very easy to find. The hotel management was so cooperative and didn’t give us a hard time with the tour bus. Great breakfast. Fantastic amenities too (I personally love the bike rent!) We were welcomed by Geert, and he was so exceptional: so accommodating & warm. I definitely will stay here again whenever I visit Brugge/Belgium ❤️ I don’t mind the distance from the central area, since the hotel is so quite and relaxing, and it’s really just 10-20 mnt bike ride anyway to the city! :)

Great place, slightly out of town but only a 30 minute walk in and quite easy to find. Good for parking etc and probably quieter than being in town.

Such a wonderful hotel. Clean, easy to find great breakfast. The staff is so nice and helpful. Been in a lot of hotels troughout my life and this gets 5 🌟 from me. The taxi to the centre of the town is 12 euro and its fast. Whenever you are in Bruges book this hotel.

While I'm a cyclist, I rented it because it could easily accommodate our family of 5 with 2 rooms. Very clean, plentiful parking, great staff and did I mention the cycling theme. Close to downtown, they rent bikes but do so ahead of time else they are all gone.

A very nice large spacious hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only reason I've not given five stars is that the location is not great being so far from the heart of Bruges. Buses do serve but at night, not that close to the hotel. Thankyou we had a good stay.

Amazing place and since it’s cycling themed, it was a no brainer for the stop during our cycling trip around Europe - very friendly and helpful staff, good quality breakfast. Located close to canal and with cycling paths starting from the doorstep, you can reach anywhere on your bike. We had bikes with us, but you can also rent them.

Lovely room, very clean. Service attentive, but nothing outstanding. Quite a walk into city centre. Sort the gym out.......pretty poor, given it's a cycling themed venue.

Overall very nice experience, bus is infront of the hotel but not available till late night. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast buffet was nice with lots of varieties. Surroundings are really nice and also kid friendly with some games outside the hotel compound.

Excellent Hotel, with excellent service. Clean, the best choice for families, friends or couples. Access to Brugge is very easy and the staff of the hotel can help you to find a taxi or a mini bus!!!!

Hotel Velotel is a bicycle-friendly concept hotel set on the outskirts of Bruges, with direct access to cycle routes. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. There was a very wide range of food at breakfast and it was regularly stocked up. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel can arrange a return taxi into the city centre for just 10€ each way - a great saving on the standard taxi fee. There is a sun terrace and garden area - perfect for relaxing.

The Hotel, and particularly the staff were very helpful/ knowledgeable and professional. Stayed an extra night, changed rooms and it was arranged within minutes.

Big walk-in shower with great water pressure and rain-shower. Due to covid, a scheduled breakfast time had to be reserved in advance and it wasn't a banquet, but it was served by the staff to the table. Great variety and quantity of breakfast. The restaurant O'Velo is not cheap, but the quality of the food was excellent. The location of the hotel is great: fast access to and from the motorway by car and about 8mins drive till Brugge centre (parking garage 't Zand). The hotel has plenty of free parking space outside, which was free. There is also a paid garage inside the building but we did not use that. Outside is a garden area with beach chairs to relax in and there is a small childrens playground. The best part about the hotel is it's staff. They were very friendly, service-oriented and really helped make our 2-day stay a great success. We will definitely return when we visit Brugge again.

We stayed in Hotel Velotel for one night and it was great. We came with our own bikes and could leave them there whenever we needed to. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The Bedrooms were comfy and very clean. We will definitively come back again, hopefully to stay longer.

We chose this hotel for one night due to needing parking and didn’t want to drive in to city centre. Basic room but very clean and comfortable. Easy walk (about 30 min) in to city and grocery shops near hotel. Would stay again if we drove. Front desk was super friendly and helpful!

Second visit to this hotel. Staff are very helpful and professional. Location is good and hotel is clean. I would say the prices here are very honest and set at just the right amount. The only things to pick at was the comfort of the bed, for me was really not that good. This is just my opinion and to be fair, on my first visit I didn't have any complaints about the bed. The only other issue was in arrival we were given a room which hadn't been cleaned yet. To the credit of the staff they swapped rooms and apologized. Accidents happen so wasn't too bothered.

Absolutely love this Hotel and Restaurant. Great rooms, great staff. Lovely restaurant with a terrace for afternoon tea It's a bit quirky, but I like that. It makes up for the (perfectly good) modern building. It has character in other ways Restaurant rather light on vegetarian/vegan, choices, which is the only drawback - but I won't drop a star for that reason alone.

You must stay here!!!! We came on a cycling group holiday and loved this visit. The staff are outstanding. Very welcoming with tips and good chat. We had a lovely waitress every day at breakfast who got to know our large group. The man on reception gave us lots of good ideas. Super theme and arrangements for cyclists (secure bike park). Very good breakfast. Outdoor table service for bar. Can't say enough about this lovely place. Excellent!

Very nice place! The staff is so friendly and on the point! We were there for only one night to see a show not far but we would have liked to stay way longer!

Excellent hotel at a very affordable price. Very close to downtown. Can rent bikes. We drove and parked at Ztand for half the day for 3€. Hotel manager was Very informative and gave us a quick rundown of good spots to visit in a very short amount of time. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, no fridge, but if you're just overnighting that's fine.

What an amazing hotel. Used as an over night stay on a recent cycling event. Perfect for cyclists and cycle themed throughout with a locked storage area for safe keeping of bikes. Staff super freindly, great food and 20 min walk form town centre. Nice outside area. Room was spaciuos, light and large windows that open!! Great shower. Comfy beds. Will defintely be back. Highly recommend not just for cyclists but anyone wanting a great place to stay.

30 min walk to Bruges city center but gorgeous hotel with friendly staff and free parking! Beware if you are traveling with friends, our bathroom was glass enclosed. There was a curtain you could pull but still not a lot of privacy 🤣

Perfectly located hotel for a citytrip to Brugge with a car. Free parking. Walking distance to the city centre is about 30 minutes or you can take the bus which runs every 20 minutes and takes about 8 minutes. Very clean and modern rooms.

Great hotel, very well organized. I really like the design, the atmosphere and all the functionality the hotel has. The taxi option is great in rainy days, the code for parking is provided in advance so you don't have to roam around before check-in. When we are in Brugge, this will be our place 😊

Great place to stay!! The layout of the room is a little…different but the shower was great and cozy bed! Not in the city center but in the summer this would be a prime location for walking (or riding your bike). Ben was GREAT!!

Excellent facilities. The hotel manager Benoit and staff Geert could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant food served traditional Belgium that was of a high standard. Would definitely return.
