Iโ€™m finally at the Venice of the North And here we are at the Flemish region Any guess ? Itโ€™s known for its canals , cobbled streets and is the capital of West Flanders ! Bruges it is ๐Ÿ˜โœ… Yes finally Iโ€™m back to Belgium ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช after 9 long years Eurostar connects London and Bruges via high speed railway service Here to windup yet another memorable weekend It is one of Europeโ€™s greatest trading centreโ€™s . We have 13 th century Belfort And do not miss to take a boat ride in the canal - itโ€™s worth it

Bruges is really worth seeing. Small dreamy streets, romantic cafes and museums are everywhere around. Whether you stay 2 days, 5 days or longer it remains beautiful and exciting. If you do not lose your heart here, you will not lose it anywhere.

Endless walks along the streets which, together with the canals, gardens and buildings, create an amazing picture of a medieval city.

I was lucky enough to find lodging in the Spiegelrei/Langerei area, and walking the canals was a glorious stroll on a beautiful late summer day. The buildings/homes/businesses are stunning. I'll never get enough of those rooflines! There were flowerboxes on the bridges and the canals were clean and pretty and relatively free of boats.

Amazing, beautiful and unforgettable. I highly recommend taking a boat tour, they're not that expensive nor long, but they give you a unique irrespective of the beautiful little town called Bruges/Brugge! Pro tip: for the nicest photos, try to get a seat at the front of the boat on one of the sides!

I have visited this place before the COVID. OMG what a wonderful experience I have had on this canal, the very aim of Brugge that has made this town so special. My biggest suggestion is to visit it only when it is sunny, I can't imagine to make a tour on the red boat under the rain or under grey-sh clouds. All the photos I have made from Brugge all come from here. Amazing visit!
