👍👍 We loved this place. The experience was so different, so unexpected, and that just meters away from the city center crowd. We spent hours in the museum. Everyone has personal digital speaker thingies that can be in different languages. I really enjoyed the free drink in the awesome backyard. A great way to rediscover these paintings with a different perspective. We haven't seen the time pass

Today I visited with a friend of mine because we were curious what this 3D museum actually was. I can say we had a splendid time! The reception couldn't have been better: sympathetic, clear and made sure we had a fun time. The audio guide and the sculptures are a way of showing how many details Bosch put in his paintings (which is normally impossible to see when you see the real deal, or you have to stand there for hours). As for the other painters/paintings, it gives you a clear image of how amazing they were. It's a pleasant environment, and you have a terrace/ coffee corner that's accessible whenever you'd like. It's a fun and modern way to visit a museum. From teacher to teacher, this is a fun way to entertain your students.

Second visit and still very impressed by the 3D details of master painters. Now with colours. A nice corner with coffee and cold drinks and a place to sit outside.

Honestly, Sculpta was the highlight of Bruges for me. It is a weird, fascinating, deep dive into the worlds of Jheronimus Bosch and Jan Van Eyck. The juxtaposition of the 3D making process and historical narratives of these 15th century works is complex and layered, as well as hilarious. I think we were there 3/4 of the way through the final stages of the exhibition. That in of itself was great to see partial work. I can’t begin to imagine what it will feel like once it is 100% complete.

I loved this museum so much because of the work that you can clearly see has been put in it. It is interactive and interesting as it gives you so many insights on the paintings. Bonus The Garden of Earthly delights is my favourite painting

Excellent! A warm welcome and clear instructions await when you visit to look at sculptures of paintings by Bosch, Van Eyck and Memling. It really helps to bring the paintings to life and is a fantastic introduction to these artists as a really easy to use and comprehensive audio guide is also provided. Would highly recommend as part of your trip to Bruges.

Quite fascinating! You'd not expect what you get here by the name, because 3D makes you think of technical devices, special eyewear or some such alteration. Not here; all was hand-made by very skilled artists whose work helps you get what you see in for example Hieronymus Bosch's paintings. Looking at the original you can't possibly see all there is to see because it is so plentiful and tiny. Well here it is enlarged and presented piece by piece with a very good audioguide explanation, so for once you know what you are looking at. Highly recommendable!

Highly recommended to view the works of art of the Flemish primitives in a different way. Wall sculptures that enlarge certain scenes give you a very special experience and sensation when you’re walking through. Wonderful!

The museum represents an interesting idea of sculpting actual scenes from Medieval artworks (Bosch, Eyck). But the implementation does not look as impressive as real pictures. One won't be able to compete with real Medieval masters, and for me it became obvious in this museum.

Incredible art gallery that you should absolutely visit. Let me explain what this place actually is. Sculpta consists of seven rooms whose walls have been turned into relief versions of famous works of art by Bosch, Eyck and Memling. The rendition is just astonishing. You'll see no original art here, a fact that is pointed out to you before you buy your ticket, which is smart and very considerate. The ambience of the gallery is superb, very quiet, perfect lighting, with classical music in the background at a lovely soft volume. Plushy benches in every room to sit down while you admire the work and listen to the audio guide. Translation in my language (spanish) was pretty much perfect which is highly unusual. I'm told the other languages are just as good. Very detailed explanation of each piece, 30 of them in total. If you have any interest in art at all you'll love every minute. The nice lady at the desk speaks perfect english and she is just a charm. Your ticket includes a beverage or coffee that you get yourself in the center of the gallery. There's a lovely open patio with tables just next to it. Very nice toilets available as well. But for me the best thing was that this place is just outside the tourist paths and becomes a place where you can really relax away from the noise and crowds. Allocate at the very least one hour of your schedule if you decide to visit.

Very nice museum! Gives you the opportunity to get a much closer look at the many (many, many!) strange and interesting elements of for example Bosch paintings that wouldn't always catch your eye. The work of the plaster artists is astoundingly detailed and accurate. The museum itself is clearly brand-new. Located in a beautiful place, its high-end finishes (couldn't even count the Bose speakers in the ceilings and even the bathrooms are a treat) and calm atmosphere made for a lovely experience. The audio guide provides just enough explanation, there are comfortable plush velvet couches in every room, you get a token for a free beverage and there's a nice terrace. Recommend!

A simply remarkable experience! The visit costs €8 for students and includes a visit of just over an hour, an audio guide and a free drink from the vending machine. This involves expressing the works of Van Eick, Bosch and Memling in 3D. The sculptures appear on all the walls, which undoubtedly immerse us in the work. We are presented with details of the work, which helps us to know and understand it. In addition, the lighting is particularly relevant, which adds shadows and literally makes the work come alive. Finally, at the entrance, a lady with long blonde hair will welcome you with a sparkling smile and will be extremely helpful. A big thank you for this visit which we highly recommend 🤩

Unlike any other museum I’ve been to. The sculptures have been beautifully made, very colourful and really brings the artwork to life. An audio guide is included in the cheap ticket price (8€ for students) which explains/interprets the art in detail. A drink is also included in the ticket and the reception is lovely. I recommend visiting :)

It was an excellent experience to see the paintings as a 3D. Audio explanation was very useful to get deeper understanding. Every stop makes you to think about content in much deeper way. We appreciate that we had enough time and space to enjoy it. We recommend this to everyone who will visit Brugge.

Really enjoyed the story behind these colourful sculptures of historical paintings, audio is played through a device you carry in your choice of language! We took our time so was there for a couple of hours, strangely we had the place to ourselves maybe because it’s so new well worth a visit.

Beautiful, paintings in detail in color, including Memling, Boch and Van Eyck, placed on the wall

An extraordinary experience, exploring several great works of art in this unexpected 3D way. Details easily missed when viewing the originals are emphasised when recreated in this way.

It's something completely different seeing the paintings in a more plastic way for once. Especially in combination with the ambient lighting some of the motifs really impress in a different way. Bonus points for the free drink and interior terrace which is a lovely way of letting the stuff sink in.

Museum recommended by our hotel owner with sculpture renditions of works from artists like Hieronymus Bosch and Hans Memling. Basically is a one hour audio guided tour with enlarged details of paintings. Admission cost comes with a coin that provides free drink a bit before half way through which was a nice touch. Would recommend if the eerie details of Bosch interest you. Audio tour takes just over an hour with the drink break. When we went it was just one party which was a great way to experience this - not sure how it would be when busy.

(Translated by Google) If you can do something right, you can overdo it. The museum is really impressive, but it is - I think - one room too much. Note - if you want to avoid many embarrassing questions, I do not recommend visiting with children. (Original) Jeśli można coś zrobić dobrze, można i przedobrzyć. Muzeum naprawdę robi wrażenie, ale jest - myślę - o jedną salę za dużo. Uwaga - jeśli chcecie uniknąć wielu kłopotliwych pytań, nie polecam zwiedzania z dziećmi.

So we went here on a whim 30 minutes before they closed but we were super happy we did. Probably one of the coolest art experiences ever. The first half of the museum was dedicated to Jheronimus Bosch and that was the part that really blew us away (the rest of the museum was meh). Anyone familiar with his paintings knows they are crazy detailed and impossible to really see fully. This museum does that, by blowing up small segments over an entire room, getting you to really appreciate his work. Truly incredible, highly recommend you visit when your in Bruges.

We loved this museum! In the heart of Brugge, it is a quiet refuge where you self tour through immersive rooms of well-done sculptures depicting close-up scenes from the paintings of Bosch, Van Eyck, and Memling. It is impressive and fascinating, and also peaceful (if you can find peace among Bosch's horrorscapes, that is)! The courtyard certainly is peaceful and comfortable; at any time while enjoying the museum, sit out here with a view of the spire of Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk.

Beautifully done sculptures bring the paintings to life. I saw the Garden of Earthly Delights in person but with so many people the details were hard to absorb. Here I could look closely at each detail and appreciate the oddity of Heronimous Bosch even more. Great for art lovers.
