I’ll start by saying the service was really great and the staff was friendly and professional. At the same time, I’m surprised this place has a Michelin Star based on the food. The plates were pretty basic and some of them had too much seasoning. For the price there are many other restaurants I’d recommend in Milan over this.

This small, clean restaurant is located right off the canal. Quiet, reserved, and unassuming, it's a great setting to enjoy some incredibly prepared food. The waitstaff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, regardless of the language you speak. All the meals were delicious, and the casual pace was perfect for the food and overall experience.

Dining taken to the next level. Each course has had so much thought put into each detail! Each mouthful is a journey of complex complimentary flavours. The atmosphere of the restaurant is refined, stylish and romantic. The staff and Chef himslef are all very warm, welcoming and attentive. It is a real experience that I would highly recommend.

We choose the fish menu! Nothing special and a lot of fried fish which make it heavy! Overall the experience don’t worth the money.

a great experience in Milan, Navigli. in the small prive table for 2 we tasted two menu of which 1 fish. wonderful food perhaps a little bit lack of magic. prices a little bit higher (ie a glass of riesling 13 euro) but worth going in this very famous 1 star restaurant

Great food. Go hungry. So so wine selection. Good and unpretentious service. Expensive but good

The food was fantastic. The wine pairings from Mario, the sommelier, were beautiful. And the attention to detail was perfect. If I could eat more food (the portion sizes were generous for a tasting menu) I would have eaten it all again.

Good not great. Menu tilted towards fish/seafood dishes which were a tad fishy. Risotto with gran pardano was excellent and best of my starter/primi/secondi dishes. Unfortunately none were completely mind blowing. Three courses was too much food for one sitting (if you also love bread). Rather stuffy dining room/experience and outrageous prices (20 euro for each dessert) but wonderful wine list that’s reasonably priced and excellent somm service. Complimentary amuse bouche to start.

Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. The starter was very chewy, and some tastes were not very refined. I have to recognize that the pasta were very good, and the lobster with basilic pesto was delicious. I also appreciated the efforts of the chef to make the meal lactose free.

The service was top tier. The food was immaculate, and the atmosphere was elegant. I’m not much for menu tastings, but the chefs creative was one of the best tasting I have ever done. The wine pairing chosen was incredible. Bravo Sadler — thanks for a highlight of my Milan experience. Perfetto!

The food was made at a high quality with each ingredient being taken into mind. The staff was absolutely fantastic when it came to hospitality especially the sommelier who recommended a great bottle of wine. My only complaint would be that the food needs more of a punch when it comes to flavor. It was good but it could be amazing with a little fixing. Thank you and I do recommend this place.

You should know what you are signing up for with a Michelin start restaurant. You know it won't be cheap but the experience is worth it. I'm no foodie but each course is really well done. The flavors make you think. All the little "extras" are a welcome surprise. The service is a bit over the top, but again, that is what you signed up for... my only complaint is we were there for 4 hours! I wouldn't do it again but so glad we did it once!

Ambiance was warm and welcoming. Service was amazing and did not feel forced. All staff including the sommelier Mario were very knowledgeable. Dishes were very well executed and plated, flavors were perfectly paired. Chef Claudio Sadler himself took part in explaining his dishes to us, which was meaningful and appreciated. At the end of our meal we met Chef Park Kisung and he requested our feedback. Overall, a magnificent experience and would do it again!

The food is good.. but I found the service spotty.. the staff was courteous but they seem to have no clue while selecting the wine. They took ages to serve . We chose a 5 course menu and it was at the same pace as the next table who chose the 8 course menu.. it took 3 1/2 hrs for a 5 course meal. Was getting very impatient. They did not even bother too serve us the last chocolate which all the tables got.. I did not enjoy the experience, but the food was decent and the prices not exorbitant..

The food was outstanding. The fresh breads served were one of the best that we have had. Massive selection of wines. Only one disappointed and that was the dessert. By itself was OK, but relative to everything else, below expectations.

The service quality is exceptionally high, waiters + sommelier are very attentive, excellent job! Will def come again. Food is also great and prices are reasonable for the quality. Thanks for this great night.

The room they put us in what not as pretty or fancy like the resturant itself. And the food was not as good as we hoped. The waiters was polite and everything, we just know that they did not have enough people to serve us and the rest of the resturant so things took a bit long. We waiter forever for water. Some of the food was amazing, but not enough to give the wow factor we where hoping for.

My wife and I went there in end October 2017. We tried the White Truffle Grand Menu comprising six courses. The charge was €130 per person plus the cost of white truffle at €7 per gram. We chose a white truffle weighing around 16.4 grams. The menu cost us €375 in total (=€130 × 2 persons + €7 × 16.4 grams). All the dishes were delicious. We're particularly impressed by 'Ox tartare with "Grana Padano cheese 27 months reserve", cep mushrooms and truffle' which was heavenly. The service was definitely impeccable. The reason why I do not rate it five stars is that it cannot beat my expectation for a Michelin 2-star restaurant which priced at this level. p.s. The restaurant was located at a quiet residential area where there's almost no pedestrian in the evening. While my wife and I, as first time visitors to Milan, managed to get there on foot from Romolo metro station, others may wish to consider going there by taxi.

A memorable experience. The chef Claudio came to greet us and was good to see him around checking on us. The maitre Mario made the wine pairing to our tasting menu and has made given more depth to our food experience with his culture, his knowledge and carisma. We had incredibly delicious wine that have never overtaken the taste of food, indeed it enhance the tastes. I went cor the trazione e innovazione tasting menu. I highly recommend to ask for the sommeliers to match your wines with the dishes! Excellent quality and impeccable service!

An underwhelming experience. Atrocious level of service and food quality. First of all, expect an almost 4hour meal if you choose the 5 course menu (from 7.30pm - 11.30pm). Each course has a waiting time of 20mins before the next course is served. For what, we dont know. Service is absolutely terrible - lack of attention to details and staff talks rather condescending. We've been to a handful of 1 star Michelins and Sadler definitely made the most impression across all, negatively. We had the traditional and fish course. Chef was great to customize if you have any food allergies. Fish men generally was good but nothing impressive while traditional menu was a hit and miss. When serving, some courses had introduction of ingredients (so we know what we are eating) while majority doesn't, seems like this is dependent on service staff mood. Definitely a regretful experience in Milan that is totally not worth the trip and value. Do yourself a favour and go to some other restaurants in Milan.
