    Worst leasing and management office ever. We sign a lease and then were left stranded…We got notice a week before move in that the apartment was no longer available. We checked a couple weeks later and it was back on the market but at a higher price. They will not honor the lease nor are they willing to work with you on a solution. When I went to get my refund for the deposit and first month rent, they were nasty and told me to get out. All this management cares about is money, no wonder their review rating is the lowest in the area. We luckily found an apartment last minute down the block at the Brownstones.. and we’re glad it worked out this way as they know how to treat their customers. I highly suggest anyone reading this to avoid the sheffield as it is an absolute nightmare.

    It's been almost a year, living here at The Sheffield now and I am overall satisfied. The management is constantly trying to make better changes for residents. The maintenance requests take some time to get done (avg. 3days) but they are very kind, and the work is done efficiently. The concierge is also very kind, and always providing the right help for residents. I love the location as well, the neighborhood is quite peaceful and it's easy to get to places using the route 4 highway.

    New management is horrible. Before we had excellent delivery service, and personalized assistance with matters in a timely manner. Now the mail delivery service is unorganized, there is no personalized assistance. Rules are implemented or changed last minute with out notice. With new management may come some kinks, but this management has been here for over 6 months now. These things should be worked out. If you live here, do not expect top of the line service from leasing service. I feel like like I'm living in a neighborhood where they do not care about you as a resident.

    After many years living here, I felt compelled to share what many reviewers have already shared. The new management team is not producing the luxury experience we were promised. As noted in other reviews, the package system , in particular is a mess! If someone sends you something hat you are unaware of, the chances of receiving it are not good. Knowing this, we notified the concierge desk that we would be receiving packages due to a death in the family. One day later, food was sent, signed for, put into a closet and no notification was made. No call, no email, nothing. When we notified the management team, we got an apology. That is no longer enough.

    Had a 5:30 viewing appointment scheduled today. I called the leasing office only for them to tell me that they don't do 5:30 appointments because the bedrooms don't have lighting... I told them I scheduled this appointment online and she said that it doesn't matter- I need to reschedule. Then she told me if I come in at 5 it would be ok and I said I might be a few min late around 5:30 and she said no one will be there even though they are technically still working... so unprofessional. already makes me reconsider living here. I probably dodged a bullet.

    My husband and I moved in here about 3 weeks ago and we love it here ! Great administration and Joshua helped us so much when moving in. The apartments are beautiful and we love the sun shining into our living room ! The thing I loved most was it was cleaned beautifully before our move in and that made us feel really refreshed to start our new life here !

    My husband and I had a very pleasant experience at this apartment. We never had issues with neighbors being too loud even on weekends. The staff was also very attentive and helpful. We especially enjoyed working with Christopher in the leasing office who wasn't just the one who helped us find and secure the apartment, but checked on us throughout our year living here. I definitely recommend these apartments if you're looking for a quality community without concerns of noisy neighbors.

    Smooth move in!! Had a couple hiccups in regards to key fobs not working upon move in, which Jessica was so quick to help; and washer dryer not operable upon move in but these issues when brought up, were QUICKLY resolved that same day! Amazing! Jess, Shehnaz, I believe Jose or whomever is head of maintenance that came on his day off Saturday to look at my broken washer, who also on his day off LITERALLY went out to HD to buy a new washer.. and install that same day! These little things such as work orders being resolved same day, are what you look for when looking for a new apt to call home..
