An oasis of serenity amid chaos of everyday life. Surrounded by greenery and abundance of life as nature intended.

I called to ask about their hours and they mentioned you have to pay for a membership to hike there and you cannot even go inside to take a look and see if you want to invest in getting a membership haha And if they are offering a visitor hike they only offer that two times a year and they havenโ€™t done that in 2 years. When I called they answered the phone like it was their personal phone and it sounded like I called the wrong number, I had to ask if I was calling the right place. Even if you were to get a membership you Cannot park on the property, sounds pretty ridiculous, locals say itโ€™s dangerous to park outside the Sanctuary. If your down for that good luck, Iโ€™m here to just give a real review.

Membership only nature sanctuary. Requires annual membership. Uses locked gate for entry. It's small with strangely named trails by alphabetical letter. Great views on top of the Palisades cliffs. Just be careful you don't fall!

A beautiful, secluded piece of nature almost in my back yard. Love the diversity of habitats and wildlife. There is always something to see at Greenbrook Sanctuary. The naturalists are very knowledgeable and helpful and the place is maintained very well.

Great place to come and walk around kind of reconnect with nature even though you're in the hustle and bustle of the New York metro area. My family has maintained a membership for over 50 years and it's worth every bit of money to be able to see the sites it's close to New York.

Like many people in the pandemic, I found Greenbrook while trying to be closer to nature. It is a hidden gem nestled away along the Palisades. It is a membership only Park as the focus is primarily on conversation of the land through funds. It has a number of well maintained hiking trails and ample parking is available inside the park. Members are mailed a key that goes with the lock on the gate. A membership form can be found on the gate or at the Palisades interstate parkway website. The park naturalists' conduct many hiking and observatory events year round. Greenbrook has a special place in my heart and has some beautiful views and vistas along it's trails. It's a very exclusive park for those who want to return and be involved at a deeper level.

Secluded, easy to navigate, exclusive to members. Some gorgeous views of the Hudson here too (strong date ideas boys). Requires membership and key to access, but well worth the modest annual fee.

Being a Manhattanite with no car Iโ€™ve only ever visited by kayak or paddle board. And despite it making for a very long dayโ€”the voyage is a 25 mile roundtrip from my launch point at the Pier 84 boathouse, home of Manhattan Kayak Companyโ€”it is one of my favorite destinations. My favorite spot is Greenbrook Falls, despite it not being the easiest of landings on windy days (the beach is rocky there). The falls are especially beautiful in spring when we are getting a lot of rain and the forest is greening up.

Greenbrook Sanctuary is amazing! Weโ€™re so happy we found it. Lakes, falls, beautiful cliff views, almost guaranteed deer sightings & other animals, quiet trailsโ€ฆitโ€™s a special place & the required membership & guidelines, from what Iโ€™ve seen, has been an excellent way to keep the area clean of litter & other mistreatment. Hats off to everyone involved ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
