Unhelpful
staff
and
unresponsive
billing
department.
I
came
in
for
a
radiology
appointment
over
the
summer
and
got
lost
on
my
way
to
the
room.
I
walked
by
a
few
doctors/nurses
who
offered
directions,
but
I
was
nowhere
near
the
room
and
there
were
too
many
twists
and
turns
for
me
to
remember
where
to
go,
so
I
was
wandering
aimlessly
for
way
too
long.
No
one
would
walk
me
to
the
room.
I
finally
passed
the
radiologist
in
the
hallway
by
chance.
Fast
forward
five
months.
My
second
payment
is
due,
the
bill
isn't
adding
up,
and
I
can't
get
a
hold
of
a
billing
representative
to
explain
my
bill
to
me.
I've
been
calling
and
calling
for
WEEKS
during
office
hours
and
no
one
answers
the
phone.
I've
left
several
voicemails
and
no
one
has
returned
my
calls.
Meanwhile,
I
receive
a
new
letter
from
them
saying
my
payment
is
past
due.
So
I've
been
calling
and
leaving
voicemails
to
discuss
my
bill,
no
one
responds,
and
then
I'm
hunted
down
for
a
late
payment.
This
is
ludicrous.
UPDATE
4
WEEKS
LATER:
No
one
ever
returned
my
calls.
Due
to
COVID,
I'm
hesitant
to
go
to
the
hospital
in
person
unless
medically
necessary.
I
gave
up
trying
to
reach
them
by
phone
and
sent
the
hospital
a
message
on
Facebook
Messenger
and
Instagram.
I
figured
it
would
be
a
long
shot,
and
I
was
right.
No
response.
I
finally
figured
out
what
was
going
on
with
my
bill,
on
my
own,
after
spending
countless
hours
scrutinizing
my
bill
and
my
medical
history
and
doing
my
own
calculations.
Let's
hope
my
findings
are
correct,
since
I
can't
get
in
touch
with
a
live
person
for
confirmation.
So
I
finally
made
that
payment
after
feeling
somewhat
comfortable
with
my
understanding.
Today
I
logged
in
to
make
the
next
payment
on
my
payment
plan,
and
suddenly
the
payment
plan
has
disappeared.
The
system
is
saying
I
owe
the
full
balance
right
now
and
that
it's
"seriously
past
due"
as
if
my
payment
plan
never
existed.
I
have
no
idea
why
the
change.
So
now
it's
back
to
square
one.
I
have
to
call
to
figure
out
what's
going
on.
And
we
already
know
where
that
will
lead:
to
voicemail.
If
I
have
no
luck
getting
in
touch
with
someone,
which
is
what
I'm
expecting,
then
I
guess
I'll
have
to
go
there
in
person
after
all.
Hopefully
the
front
desk
will
allow
me
to
walk
in
with
no
appointment.
