For the first time in my life, I experienced racism in this hospital. The security guard told my husband that he will not allow 2 people to go see the patient at the same time. We just went back and sat. to wait our turn. 2 white men came to him to see a patient and he granted them both access, we waited and pulled our cameras to record, an Asian couple came, and he allowed them both to enter. So, we went back to him and showed him the video and asked him how come his rules only applies to black people? He was quick to let us go inside.

The receptionist was so rude today. Somebody pissed her off, and she was slamming the desk and yelling at us the next patients. No sense of privacy or courtesy. One issue this hospital has is that they shout personal information out loud, just ridiculous. I wanted to say something back, but she wasn't worth it

OVERNIGHT SHIFT To the googly eyed intake in the emergency room - you sure know how to treat family while they are in a mental panic. You should be fired for the way you treat others in need (1/18/24). Also, that overtired man who can't hear while giving out name tags, you need a serious attitude change. All of your attitudes suck (1/18/2024) . Thank you to the drs and nurses who are working around the clock and providing care. The hospital is clean, and the rest of the staff actually works diligently to help those in need. Please revise the desk staff for er intake. They are horrendous and visitors need someone who cares .

I have to bring my daughter to the ER and trust me when I say I totally hesitated to come because, is never up to the standards. Some of the nurses are super nice and so other aren’t meant to be nurses or take care of any one. We got here about 11:30 pm is 3 o’clock and they are not coming back with any information. They claim they are busy but it’s really quiet right now. When we first go in a room they stated they will bring some fever medication it took them more than an hour to bring two pills because I went and complained about it . I actually requested to speak to the hospital manager or the nurse supervisor to officially summit a complaint. Now , after that was said and done it’s like they all forgot about my girl and no one word have been said I won’t recommend this place. I have three starts because some of the stuff are super nice and it seems they care for the patients but some others won’t give 2 Fudge. Good luck coming here !🤦‍♀️

Seaview Emergency is a 5 star hospital clean every time I come.They come in with lots of nurses making sure your feeling ok.they work toward getting u seen and treated. Dr pingle and christina O the Nurse was amazing make u feel comfortable.I came in sick With the care that they showed I feel better all ready. Thanks staff for being so caring.

My experience was good. Receptionist and staff were friendly and helpful. I just don't understand how expensive it is to go to an ER room. 4,000 dollars to just sit in the er area, to get a prescription. unbelievable

Worst ER ever. If you need to come to this place be prepared for a 16 hour day. So many different ppl coming in and out doing different things and you end up with little results. Doesn’t matter who you speak to, for the most part, you will be ignored. And no, the visit wasn’t for the common cold or a boo boo. It was a legit emergency that was handled by a rookie team of doctors. Horrible.

During my last visit to an emergency room for my wife, we were treated exceptionally well and courteous. The radiology technician, Elena, Stanislav Tsoy and security team, who went above and beyond to make her comfortable and calm during entire visit.

Okay so let me just get this straight out and clear I came in a few weeks ago with my 2 daughters and there was a nurse by the name of shannon, Just wow my kids fell in love with her such great customer service and care she had for them I greatly appreciate her and I just wanted to say thank you again to her if she ever reads this!! Thank You SIUH and thank you shannon!!!

Do NOT go to this hospital for any issue whatsoever. I recommend going to any other hospital. I had the worst experience here and will never go here again. All of the workers have no idea what they’re doing and are rude to all of the patients. They do not care about you and whether you live or die. The doctors are terrible and don’t even look at your results, they just say “there’s no issue good luck.” I couldn’t even ask the doctor why she was giving me wrong information because she left without telling anyone. This hospital also loses your samples and forces you to give more samples with no explanation or apologies. Go to a different hospital if you actually want to be treated like a human being. They should shut this place down or hire new doctors! Medical malpractice runs rampant here.
