If I was able to not leave any stars I would. This place is a scam at just taking patients to get paid. I have gone twice to two different departments. The first one was a ten minute visit and was giving medication but when I asked for it to be changed I was giving the run a round, Doctor never returned my calls and the prescription was written out for a male instead of a female . Then the second department I had a appointment I did arrive 5 minutes late and told I didn't have an appointment when I had the text stating my appointment then they told me I had to fill out forms on the kiosk , I then sat to wait an hour to be seen . I then asked how much longer did I had to wait was told I had someone ahead of me so I sat back done. After 15 more mins I was told by a receptionist with no manners told me get over here and as I approached I looked at her and told her that is not how you speak to a person and my name is such and such then she approaches and state so that's why I was calling you at that moment I looked over at her and asked her give me my paperwork I am leaving I am no longer going to sit here and wait after being disrespected to be seen by a doctor that is taking forever to see their patients. I tried to give this place a second chance. I have called my doctor's office and told them to never send any of their patients to that location. Be warned if you are willing to sit for hours to be seen for only 5 to 10 minutes and to be given the run-around tell your insurance company and your doctor's office to send you to a nice location and never send you there. . I have come to the conclusion that a vet's office would treat you much better than medalliance

The worst medical office anyone could show up to. Every time(4) we went in there, we had to spend at 3-4 hours, not because of the services we received but because the wait time kept on getting extended. Appointment was at 9:30 AM but was still sitting in the waiting room till 11:45 AM. Every time I went up to the front desk, their excuse was "Wait for your turn, it’s taking a little longer”. When I asked to talk to the manager, she came and started arguing with me when I asked her that why was I given an appointment for 9:30 AM when I have to wait till past 12:00 PM to be seen by the doctor. I’m pretty reasonable person. I took in consideration of maybe shortage of staff( which was not), doctor might’ve ran a little late, or even maybe a slight problematic situation inside with a patient( maybe someone passed out) but NO, none of these were issues. The second last time we left after waiting for almost 2 hours because they decided to take in the patient for an neurology exam who had an appointment at 10:15 AM because they showed up at 8:00 AM, and our appointment was at 9:30 AM even though we showed up before 9:15 AM for a 9:30 AM appointment. When I asked them why would they do that at 10:00 AM, their response was the other patient showed up before you, and it will be just 30 minutes more. So that means my appointment time and arrival has no value to them. I still took that in consideration and said I will just wait till the other patient is done, but no sign of being called till 11:15 AM. I went up and asked them again what’s going on, their response again “ Just wait 30 more minutes “, and no Please or Thank you with that. The very last time was to get at least one test done and be seen by the doctor. No luck on that day either. After waiting patiently for 2 and half hours, nothing got done. Finally asked for a manager, and guess what I got?!? An argument from the manager again. Again I’m very reasonable, patient and calm. I have respect for every profession. I don’t walk into places and expect everything to be done like fairy tales. I’m very disappointed with this office, it’s management and staff services. As a patient, we could at least expect a moderate (5/10) service, NOT 0/10. Hopefully someone can do something about this PLEASE……. Just a decent service from staff/management and ON TIME ( around the appointment time) please !!!!!!!!!!

Where do I start? My father had a consult with the Neurologist. (first time coming here) I work for a prestigious dermatology practice in the city so I know how a practice operates . I only had a digital copy of his id and insurance card. The receptionist said she can only accept physical copies. This rude receptionist was ready to turn away my father. I told her I know for a fact you can accept a digital copy, what email do I send it to. She was like " Well, my manager is the only one who has email and I do not have access to it." I told her, "Well, then let me speak to your manager." All of the sudden she didn't need his insurance or ID. Then, she proceeded with telling me my father needs to fill out the kiosk. Fine. I told her I was his proxy. Now, anyone who works in healthcare knows you need verification or sign a release to legally sign for someone else. HUGE HIPPA VIOLATION. Not once did she have a problem with me signing for my father. Then, while I filled out the kiosk, the server timed out. I let the other receptionist know. At this point, I am already annoyed, and she assured me I would not have to start all over. When she rebooted the kiosk it was completely blank and when I asked for physical paper copies to complete, she told me that was not an option. I tried to fill it out again and it timed out again. I let the other receptionist know and to my surprise, she handed me physical/ paper copies. I started filling it out again, as my dad. While, I am filling this out, the other receptionist was checking in a patient and the patient did not have a copy of the referral with her. She basically turned away the patient. I asked her, " I'm interested in understanding how that is because I know the provider sends you the referral directly." She then says " We did receive the referral electronically, but we need the physical copy to scan it in." YES, SHE SAID THAT. I guess she realized how ignorant that response was, and then proceeded with trying to explain it is for insurance purposes. And then, I proceeded with "Well, don't you ask for insurance information when booking appointments.” She rudely replied with. " We do not make appointments, the operators do.” And then, I again asked, sooo you would rather turn away patients than get this insurance before hand? “ At this point, I just decided to sit down. The doctor he saw did not seem very knowledgeable at all and maybe saw him for ten minutes after us waiting two hours to see her. I then scheduled his appointments and we left. Today I canceled all of his appointments because we will not be returning. This CLINIC was unprofessional, unknowledgeable, LAZY and just lacked the compassion needed for the patients that come here. I could not believe the receptionist turned away a patient because she could have gotten the referral, it just would have required a few more steps. STEP UP YOUR UP GAME MEDALLIANCE. You should be embarrassed. ZERO STARS**

If I could give 0 stars I would Horrible place to go. GYN doctor should not even be a doctor. She will never follow up on anything. Gave the wrong advice on medication. I have been calling her to call me back as I have questions on what I was prescribed. I left multiple messages in a matter of 2 weeks and I have yet to hear back from her. Very unprofessional. If you want real care do not come here

This facility is good somehow. But the waiting time will kill you! I barely put reviews but I think I have too. My family always comes here for more than 4 years, and every time we have to wait 2-2.5 hours. Look, you guys booked appointments right? But look how much time we have to wait just to see the doctor. Time is gold. We could have been doing other stuff but we were there sitting and waiting for our turn. It’s crazy. I like some doctors and staff here, they are very nice. But the flow. ANNOYING. Please be more organized.

Where do I start.....I think the waiting is the least of their floss... just try calling this plc what is this receptionist doing????? They would answer the call and send you to hold without even saying plz wait, you wait 5, 10, 30minutes just to someone pick up and hang up... you call again and the same thing happens like ppl don't hve nothing to but to wait hoping that someone will eventually pick up... then is the fact that they only hve one orthopedic HEATHER this lady was definitely born with no HEART no EMPATHY and so obstinate..what ever she said it is. I feel sorry for her she most have had a mess up childhood...

Totally recommend it if you want to waste your time waiting. Horrible time management. Been there 3 times, and each time, the wait time was over an hour. On my last visit, the wait time was over 2 hours. Just ridiculous. These people don't care about patients' time. Just book the appointment an hour later! but no! "We will book you for 2 PM but the doctor won't see you until 4'. Don't go to this place ever!

Dermatology at medalliance will be a long wait . Today had a scheduled appointment for 11:30 a.m and at 1p.m I still had not been called and so I rescheduled for another day. The waiting areas of this clinic is super small and overly congested with patients. I also believe they overbooked appointments. I have a general rule when comes to waiting to see a doctor by no more than a hour and a half. I would not feel comfortable recommending dermatology at medalliance.

More than happy to change this after this has been addressed and my parents don’t have a bad experience ! The staff and their treatment to patients after more then two hours of waiting with an appointment is inhumain, my parents, took a cab to the appmnts and had to wait almost 3 hours and still they were not called. It is almost always the same case. Doctors are the best people but the experience is ruined by the lack of training and empathy of front desk staff. They left without another appointment

I am an X-ray and MRI certified tech. I'm just trying to get my medical records and it's like pulling teeth. Staff are unprofessional and ghetto. Dermatology is a joke. The patient portal registration does not work. Called the phone number provided to assist me and always hangs up on me while on hold. Had a gynocology appointment there and the eastern European doctor was just on her phone texting and reading inspiration quotes from instagram. The aid had the nerve to tell me to start asking the doctor questions instead of just sitting there as if I'm not taking my health seriously. The hospital is no good. And yes you will wait for hours (I waited from 12pm to 4pm) to be seen and witness inappropriate behavior behind the help desk. Just shameful.

If they had no stars I would check that box. I waited over 2 hours and kept asking the girl where am I in line and she said only the Dr knows and she gets mad if I ask her. Ridiculous. I’m leaving now and will find another neurologist. So unprofessional.

The worst place ever, phone is dead, representative speaking Spanish instead of English without acknowledging even if i m Spanish or not, first day appointment for mother made us wait 4 hours,2nd visit for colonoscopy of my diabetic mother, made us wait 3 hours from the appointment time, all though when i keep telling them she cant be without food long time due to her diabetic conditions couple of times, these people dont care, they give appointments to 30 people on same time.nothing but stupidity.this is a money hungry institution ripping people,no good management, and definitely the worst place for paitents wellness.

I do not recommend this facility for cardiology care. My eighty year old father has showed up numerous times for scheduled appointments only to be told he cannot be seen, he needs to wait more than four hours, to then be told he still cannot be seen. This is especially concerning given that they are treating patients who are older and with heart conditions. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for care. Their office does not treat people and their time with the care and respect they deserve.

I very happy with your service, every time I come to the office. The service is 100% the staff is very friendly. When I need anything from the office they go the extra mile for me. What I most like is everything is in one place.

Woest clinics I’ve been too. They set you up for an appointment and still have you wait 3 HOURS for it. And the girls in the front are very rude and dismissive and don’t offer any help.

This place use to be amazing . The staff very professional . Now over the years they have become so inconsistent and non professional. They give you a set appt and you’re not seen on time . Staff can not answer your questions. It’s like they bring in a herd of people to then be overwhelmed . Have waisted my time coming to only have to leave . So sad this place is all about numbers more then value

It is supersad to make this review but it is necessary.. The public needs to hear about this. 1st and foremost the staff and supervisors are disrespectful, rude , unprofessional and were overheard talking about my fiance. In a nagative manner. We were told theres no supervisors available and ended up on 3rd floor to the rudest administrator ever in history! "Geraldine A. Maraj Subnarain".makes Med alliance look really bad and untrustworthy. Everyone has a bad day but to say someone is not important to they face and not apologize is shocking and very disappointing. She clearly was not in the mood to help rectify the issues we were facing and walked off on us without any other option. SHE should b ashamed of herself for conducting that tyoe of behavior. Makes me question how she even landed in the position she is in in the 1st place. Something needs to be done because this place is lookin like a disaster facility.

Came here to get a Colonoscopy the place was packed with over 40 people waiting for the procedure and only one doctor. Over 40 people in a small basement room and there asking if you're Covid positive? A room that small should be for 20 people the most. When I arrived I came across a nurse and a patient arguing and the nurse was literally cursing at the patient Which to me was very unprofessional. I found every one frustrated and tired from the long waiting on no one could leave because they've already committed to the liquid fast like me who took the day off from work I arrived at 9:00am and wasn't seen until after 2pm 3:30 pm I highly recommend that you find somewhere else.

My doctor gave me a referral to a clinic nearby but I was told to make an appointment at this place on East Fordham. Absolutely cannot get through, I was continuously disconnected after calling for over half an hour. When one of the options id "Press # if you are calling from an attorney's office" you know this is not 100%. NYC is full of doctors, its a buyer's market market. HARD PASS

Worst medical office ever—in addition to the long wait times, their lab is separate, so there's a good chance you'll have to return another day to finish the lab work. Additionally, I went for a physical. Since the lab work was completed, it has been six days, and Dr. Christos has not prescribed any additional medication. I have to read my results on the lab portal, but he hasn't had the decency to call me or any of the staff members to explain my results; I had to figure it out by myself. I will definitely be seeing a different doctor.
