Ok I’m super biased on this review since this is literally my family’s establishment as my great uncle Thad Taylor started the Shakespeare Society of America and now my Uncle Terry is now the curator/CEO. However, this is a super amazing collection of an original collection of everything Shakespeare 🌟🤩🌟 This quaint place never disappoints! Fun for everyone, visited by movie stars, international travelers and well, why not you too?? Get on in, learn stuff about all those plays and books you’ve read and seen over the years, grab a selfie with William Shakespeare himself like I did and walk out with some amazing goodies to remember the forefather of literary culture! GO DO IT! 🤓🕯️📜✒️

A hidden treasure in Moss Landing. The venue is a small museum and gift shop with a plethora of Shakespeare memorabilia and rare Shakespeare books, playbills, postures and other ephemera. The CEO gave us a very good tour that included the opportunity to dress up as our favorite Shakespeare characters as well. Well worth your time if you're in Moss Landing.

Terry was great and gave us a short tour of the Shakespeare relics. We enjoyed chatting with him! As a writer with an English degree, I totally geeked out.

Terry had me " In stitches" in no time. Seems like "hobnobbing" is his thing...

Want to learn more about Shakespeare? This is the place for you. It’s not a shop you’d expect to find in Miss Landing but was a good surprise. The proprietor was knowledgeable and gave insight to things about Shakespeare that you might have known about him.

This is the most amazing collection and legacy of William Shakespeare that has been transplanted from Hollywood to this quaint & humble little town of Moss Landing, CA. My great Uncle Thad dedicated his life to Shakespeare and now my Uncle Terry has taken over to bring Shakespeare from our family to the world in the this beautiful coastal CA town. Visit, educate, donate & long live the amazing history of literature. Thank you Uncle Terry Taylor for your dedication to our family’s legacy & Uncle Thad’s dreams ❤️

Small and unassuming place but packed and curated with artifacts, books, prints, props, costumes, a model globe theater, unique gifts, and much more. The owner Terry is THE authority on Shakespeare and even if you don't know much about the man himself (like me) it's still worth a visit.

The guy who attended us was so nice and taught us so many things about Shakespeare!! I really recommend you come not only will you learn amazing things you will also get to try on some costumes! He was really patient and understanding.

This place is such a gem! There are so many interesting artifacts, beautiful pieces of art, and of course plenty of Shakespearean literature! The owner is wonderful and very welcoming, I will definitely be back again!

What a fun and bizarre place tucked away on an unassuming street in Moss Landing! You don’t have to be a Shakespeare fan to enjoy the experience. Supposedly the owner isn’t either. He (Terry) is what makes the location even cooler. He’s a natural showman with great hair. He’ll give you historical context, show you around, let you play dress up and take pictures of you. If you’re in the area stop by and say hello. If you love Shakespeare or even are a moderate fan, this place is a must!

Incredible find on the way back to the Bay Area from Monterey. If you love or like Shakespeare you got to stop by.

Stumbled upon this little gem yesterday. If you're a Shakespeare aficionado or have literary interests, this is a must visit. Terry, the curator, is very informative and smart. Everything here from costumes to Globe theatre replicas. I was actually visiting the nearby John Steinbeck recently restored Western Flyer boat docked at Moss Landing (photo). Boat not open for boarding, but enjoy the view with a brew from Woodward Marine Market outdoor patio.
