Very cozy place! The staff members are really friendly and welcoming. Bed is really comfortable, all very clean and regularly serviced/tidy. The restaurant has amazing food with a fireplace that is a must at dinner! Well recommended!

Very friendly, respectful and helpful staff, very clean room, reasonably priced and good food. No noise at night and beautiful surrounds. The home-made lemonade was delicious, very lemony and not too sweet. The gnocci was very tasty. The salmon was good but just a tad overcooked for my liking. There were three of us in 2 rooms, and we all enjoyed our stay. The water pressure in the accessible room could've been better. All told, a great place to stay, so many thanks to all who made our stay enjoyable.

Our stay was lovely! Staff were more than accommodating when I wanted to do something special for my partner, and they didn’t hesitate to throw in a free upgrade either! Beds are beyond comfy and rooms were very clean. Such a nice and cosy stay with an amazing view and open sky. Thanks!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, heating was good, curtains blocked out the light. Lost 1 point for the following items: only 1 mug for tea/coffee despite booking being for 2 people, no glasses to drink water out of (we ended up using their 2 wine glasses), the soap left a silky residue, and had to use a lot of the shampoo to get a lather going. Easy things to fix, and we are looking forward to the improvements at our next stay.

Wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, big comfy rooms. Can't recommend it enough. Great value. The food of the restaurant is wonderful! We loved our table closed to the chimney.

No hand rails for the elderly, and the showers was extremely slippery, women on reception was about as welcoming as a pack of hyenas, hotel right on the Hwy, so car and truck noise, general cleanliness poor, old & needed work, truly disappointing

I think the air conditioner and microwave need to replace new one. The sofa looks old and dusty. Hopefully in the future can improve again

Very disappointing, for the price you pay... We stayed two nights, the restaurant was closed, the room was dreadfully made up and not cleaned, rubbish was left. The bed was abysmally made up ..thrown together and the television did not work. Not be coming back..

Very easy check in and request for late check out easily arranged. The room was pleasant and comfortable. Access was simple, as the motel is close to the hwy and just on the outskirts of Lithgow. Only downside was that the motel restaurant was not open due to lack of chef.

We had a most joyous stay at the Bowen Inn whilst visiting the surrounding attractions including the Zig Zag Railway.. But the Highlight of our stay was the exquisite experience my Family and I had at our Dinner at The Surveyors Restaurant which is located at The Bowens Inn.. We all enjoyed the finest culinary cuisine served and delivered by absolutely professional and delightful staff .. I cannot recommend this Establishment any higher .. The Chef and his Kitchen deliver an Excellent array of all their Menu that is on offer .. Quantity and Quality assured.. A Devine experience was had by all my family.. Good on you Folks.. Great place to stay when visiting Lithgow, easy to find and a great location for heading out to local attractions or getting back on the highway to continue your journey. Our hosts Emma and Corey were a breeze to deal with. Dinner was also delicious and a big thank you for catering to my food intolerances.

Absolutely fantastic place. Loved everything. Great friendly service with quick and easy check-in. The restaurant was amazing, spacious and excellent meals. The room was fantastic too, with all you need in one room, plus a nice warm bed to sleep in and a great bathroom. Also great location, easy to find. Highly recommended

Room was ok. Queen bed great but extra single bed was in the corner next to Window. Air conditioning was good. Electric blankets on bed was good. The fan in the bathroom was noisy it rattled when you turned on the light. Bathroom needs updating very old. The restaurant wasn't open closed for a function wasn't notified was reason I booked it. Breakfast was not a continental toast and fruit and boxes of cereal for $18. Went somewhere else.

I've stayed for 2 nights. Room is good and spacious. 2 minutes to lithgow hospital... The mattress was very soft and annoying for me as I'm used to very firm mattress.

Stayed here for a few days, rooms are large and comfortable. Our shower pooled water in one corner which was annoying. Furniture was dated and a bit shabby but everything was clean. This is an older motel and it's age is showing. There is a restaurant that is reportedly very good although we didn't have a meal there

The hotel stay was excellent! The room was very clean, spacious and homey! Additionally, the beds were very comforable! We had a small microwave and fridge in our room, so we were able to eat all of our meals from the comfort of our own home. Only downside was that the restaurant next door was closed for the holidays, but there were still many other restaurants open around town as well as grocery stores to go to for food. The staff was also very friendly and helpful! I needed some silverware during one of the evening meals and the manager was able to find some for me even though it was pretty late! Will definitely be coming here again!!
