Pros:
Great
Salon
layout
of
stations-relaxing
concept.
Stylist
was
very
personable
and
listened
to
what
I
wanted.
Stylist
did
great
job
styling
my
hair.
Cons:
Salon
was
older
and
fixtures
were
dated
and
quite
worn.
High
pricing
was
unexpected.
I
was
told
color
starts
at
$115-$130.
I
got
single
color
from
root
to
ends
and
was
charged
$195
for
cut,
color,
and
style.
When
I
questioned
the
cost,
I
was
told
it
was
due
to
the
use
of
4
more
ounces
of
color.
I
do
have
thick
hair
that
is
just
past
my
shoulders,
but
still
surprised
by
the
added
cost.
I
asked
the
owner
about
pricing,
explained
my
surprise
by
the
final
bill,
and
was
graciously
given
a
small
refund,
but
also
told
“some
clients
have
bills
of
$300.”
Being
new
to
Sumter,
I
polled
6
women
who
are
Sumter
natives
who
frequent
other
salons
in
Sumter
and
everyone
said
that
I
had
indeed
overpaid
for
type
of
service
received.
Overall
impression:
Although
I
did
enjoy
my
experience
at
Salon
Mar
Zell,
the
pricing
was
too
high
for
the
quality
of
services
as
well
as
the
quality
of
the
salon.
