Had a really great first visit at Pinkie! They have a couple designated parking spots just outside the Korean-owned establishment. I’ve been searching for a local nail salon near me and after trying a couple other places, I think this will be my go-to! I’m not very experienced in getting my nails done, mostly just gel manicures and a couple pedicures. This was my first time asking for a design ever and I went with a simple French ombre. My nail tech gently removed my old gel polish after I picked out my base color. I was also given a quick shoulder massage. They even had Korean syrup gels! I went for the Jin B 109 shade and it was perfect. The ombre effect isn’t as smooth as I’d prefer and the tip of my nails are quite thick but I didn’t want to make it a big deal and I’m still satisfied with them. After the design was done, my hands were exfoliated and I was led to wash them in a sink. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Nail tech was polite and professional, salon feels clean and ambience was warm and inviting. They also have a membership points program where you can get a free pedicure after spending a certain amount. Definitely recommend to anyone in the closter/northvale/Norwood area!

I will never visit this salon again. Besides paying almost 100 for a gel French manicure and gel pedicure and my nails polish chipping within 24 hours, I was suggested by the employees to use gel polish so it didn't chip and the gel and French manicure were 2 upcharges for terrible results. On top of all of that my boyfriend, who is black, was asked to pay before his services were complete with no explanation as to why, meanwhile all of the other customers of different ethnicities weren't asked to prepay. For all the advertisements they make all over the town and all the extra upcharges the service was awful and I would never recommend anybody to have work done there unless you don't want your nails to last.

This salon is a joke. The worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I made an appointment for Gel X extensions for $85 and when I got there the owner tried to tell me it would be $120. She got mad when I questioned the price and I knew I should’ve left right then. When another employee asked if I wanted a massage added on, the owner scoffed and said I wouldn’t want one since it’s more money. She spent the whole time acting mad and did a horrible job on my nails. Horrible quality work. All the nails are uneven and bumpy. She kept bringing other employees over to work on one hand while she did the other. She made me feel so uncomfortable while she huffed and puffed the whole time. I feel bad for the girls that work for her. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this rude salon. They don’t deserve anyone’s business.

Worst nails I’ve ever gotten. I had to come here only because it’s near where I work. I was leaving on vacation the next day for 3 weeks. I got powder gel, and I asked her to please make sure everything is done right because I was hoping they would last till I come back. Once I arrived to my destination, then they started chipping one after another. I paid 80$ for a simple powder gel. I got them done July 28th, and this video was taken August 4th. They even started chipping before that. Not to mention the hassle to find another salon in the country I was visiting, to get them redone.

I was referred to this place, as I have been looking for a place that does UV gel that will last me about two weeks at the very least. The salon itself is very beautiful from the inside, from the pedicure chairs to the seats for manicures and fill ins. I was greeted when I walked in, staff is very professional. I got a cat eye design ontop of the UV Gel, paid cash. Was about 80$ which is average I suppose. It has now been 7 days after my nails were done, and I have a small chip on my index finger which leads me to grade this place to a 4 star but other wise, I definately liked the job they did, very clean. Update: less than two weeks later my nail popped off. Too good to be true

I tried Pinkie nails for the first time today because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was different. The woman doing my pedicure was a bit careless. I understand that some people are heavy handed, but when she trimmed my nails it was painful. Her mind seemed to be elsewhere as she was using the buffer/callous remover tool. It scraped the back of my heel a few times which was not pleasant and when I got home, I noticed a little cut from it. I was hoping to love this place because I appreciate the ambiance they try to create, but if I'm paying higher than average prices, I do expect a much better overall experience.

I get a manicure and pedicure once a year so my experience is different, also I'm a guy. Vivian took care of me and it didn't hurt. She cleaned me up and I feel better. I would recommend this place for guys.

They are so nice! I take my older relatives here for mani/pedis because they’re very gentle with your feet. They’ve started showing nail art videos on their TV, which is a nice conversation starter :)
