Fantastic Italian cuisine with a quaint and intimate atmosphere. Perfect for an upscale date night! The pasta is handmade fresh every night and they had a wonderful selection of wines and specials. I took my partner there and we had a wonderful evening! The service is also very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Our cocktails were also very yummy and the tiramisu is a MUST TRY!

Spectacular food, service and dining experience. Highly suggest the cocktails (excellent Negronis), pasta and of course the chicken parm. Save room for dessert (the blueberry crumble is incredible). The team here is doing special and brings an approachable perspective to fine dining Italian.

Recently enjoyed a celebration dinner in their new private room. Everything was top notch. The room has intimate charm. The food, served family style, was above the quality I normally find in individually-prepared dishes. In particular the beef and chicken selections were outstanding, tender and flavorful. Service was engaging but not intrusive. Thank you to the staff of Verana for a wonderful evening.

Worth the drive. I live in Paramus and it's nice to go the opposite way of NY city traffic and find this upscale restaurant with a city vibe. First and foremost the service is impressive they pay attention to your needs. From coming to the door to take your umbrella, pulling your chair out, not too ontop of you but attentive. Food is amazing not too heavy and the right portions. If you are with a group of friends i would suggest trying everything. There may be a waitlist on the weekends but it's just as busy on the weekdays....that says a lot! It's worth the time to eat at this hidden gem

Couldn’t believe how high the quality of everything was from the appetizers to the pastas, all the way to the steak! Shout out goes to the chef for bringing that Manhattan standard into NJ! Amazing service from the staff as well… ask for Chris! You won’t be disappointed.

Love love love this place! The hostess was wonderful, sweet and very accommodating. Our waitress could have been more attentive, but wouldn’t knock off a star for it. The food was delicious, served hot and portions were perfect. Felt like we were in the city, but so lovely to be close to home. So happy to have walked in on a whim!

Awesome dining experience, staff was amazing especially our waiter Mutar. There for every need, but not on top of you. They accidentally charged us for an extra bottle of wine and when we got home they called us and told us that THEY caught the mistake and we got our money back. Amazing service.

Went for a girl’s dinner and absolutely loved it. Amazing food and service. We stayed way past the restaurant closure, and no one said a word and continued providing outstanding service until we left. Would definitely go back again!
