Super friendly bar in a mall. A fun, loud vibe. Not really a country bar.

Country bar..they have karaoke 🎤.. white tea shots were great! Bartenders were awesome!

I got lured into this bar playing AC/DC’s thunderstruck, such a welcome change to the usual mainstream music. The bar itself has a wonderful aesthetics and a pole next to the Bar to dance at. Inside and outside seating. I love the dollar graffiti an regular graffiti that covers this place. What I don’t love is how for a place that advertised itself as Western how th music ranged from 90s hiphop to Whitney Houston to mainstream pop music. When western music started again it would last a good 45 seconds and randomly get skipped, then sudden Arubian commercials would air on the TVs and then more songs would play for a little while and then skip. At some point we even had a guitar cord instruction YouTube video. I don’t know who this “Renee” was in charge of the music, but they have no DJ skills whatsoever and should just put my pre-made Spotify playlist on repeat and call it a day. The music really causes a whiplash and made the whole experience less pleasant. I already payed €11 for a .5 balashi beer so I was going to sit down en enjoy that beer even if it killed me. And boy howdy did they try. It’s a real shame, I see so much potential in this bar, but after the initial first impression it all goes down hill with the vibe and music.

Saloon is Aruba's go-to spot for country music and Americana charm. The rustic decor sets the stage for a boot-stompin' good time, and the playlist is a toe-tapping mix of country hits. First discovered the Saloon Bar 5yrs ago went had great time in 2018,2022&May 2023 seen the changes they have made but back again October 2023 went in last night me& husband was the only ones in the bar sat at the bar stools for about 5min. The server never greeted us didn't ask us what we wanted. Then another couple walks in and she goes straight to serving them. We asked her did she not see us? She said yes but I'll get to you a minute. What kind of service is that? We walked out and next time in Aruba not sure we'll return? A bar that once made us felt like we're at home, made us felt unwelcome.

This bar has a lot of potential and with a few changes It could have easily been our favorite spot. We went on three separate occasions on our trip with the first one being the most positive. We were greeted by a very friendly bartender, had great drinks and were also allowed to pick a few songs along with other patrons who are in the bar. The second and third time there was a different bartender and it completely changed the vibe. He had his personal friends at the bar and when we asked to put on a few country songs as we had done previously, we were told the device was charging. After listening to the same playlist that was not really country play through two times I asked again. We were met with some very sarcastic remarks and then after one song the bartender took the device and put on an extremely inappropriate song with nudity in the music video implying that that was my favorite song while I was with my wife. We were then asked to pass the tablet to his personal friends so that they could put their own music back on which again was not even country. My wife and I felt very uncomfortable at this point and instead of spending more time and buying more drinks we decided to square up and leave. My suggestion would be to remember that people are here on vacation with their families and wives. There should be a welcoming atmosphere especially from the bartender and that should not be compromised because he has his girlfriend and other friends at the bar. If you are really having trouble letting guests play music then invest in a jukebox where people can pay to play their songs.

Didn’t eat. So can’t review food. Found it on google maps. Didn’t disappoint. Made this Arkansas boy feel welcome in Aruba. Had a mostly country playlist running. Good happy hour drink specials. Prices were good.

Found it by accident and had a great time when back 2 nights in a row. Great bartender, fun place,excellent outing.

Some Harley decoration doesn’t make a country bar. It ain‘t a country bar. When we walked in they played some country (1 and a half song) but as soon as we grabbed our beer they changed it to some random reaggaton music (?), which was far away from country. They didn’t even let the music play but changed it after 1-2 min of playing. Very disappointing experience. Prices for beer are also very high (Corona 8 USD)

If you want to chat with fun bartenders and locals this is your spot. Drinks are strong, music is great, and staff is 10/10

We made it a point to stop by everynight and to exchange laughs with the owner Andres who is also the owner. He is a good hearted person that wants you to have a good time. His famous phrase is "this is your bar" he just wants you to have a good time. Plus you get to chose all the music that gets played! Recommend this place if you like to sit back and enjoy a few drinks. You will feel right at home if that is the kind of atmosphere you are in to.

One of the best, if not the best, bar on Aruba. I’ve been on the island over 1 month and I’ve been back 10+ times. Bartenders are so friendly and drinks are awesome (and can be custom made). Diego and Andre are the best. You can come in and come back and feel like family! Great for party groups as well as individuals looking to meet people.

THE BEST BAR EVER!!! We had so much fun at the saloon!! The service was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. If you love country music and good people this is the place to be. The bartender let the customers choose the music and everyone passed around the microphone singing. My favorite spot in Aruba by far.
