Pretty terrible for an airport private area. If you don’t have Priority Pass definitely do NOT pay the $42 for entry. There was no coffee, one muffin and one ham and cheese sandwich available. Sitting areas and tables needed cleaning badly, many with crumbs and food everywhere. Anything we wanted to eat we had to go back out and purchase to bring in. I only stayed because it was not crowded at the time I went and there was space to sit without being crowded at the gate. If you do go, recommend buying anything you want to eat and bringing it in. They did have soup available, chicken and veg, but it was mostly broth.

The entrance to the lounge was very nice and the lounge itself was very clean. I gave it a 2 star because the food was lousy, the alcoholic drinks were limited and there was a water leak that the staff didn’t care to address. Not even put a bucket up. In all the lounges I’ve been too, I always ask for two cans of coke because I hate Pepsi products. NEVER AN ISSUE. Not here! They’re not allowed to give out any cans. Furious, I spoke to the manager and he was gracious enough to give me the two cans, so, thanks to the manager/supervisor for quickly addressing this. He did mention it was company policy and so, company needs to change that absurd policy. Definitely not a WOW lounge, but just lounge with some opportunities to be better.

Although First Class Aruba was an excellent service, the VIP lounge was extremely overcrowded and dirty. The women's bathroom had one working stall. The food was prison quality at best. We were told there was a second lounge but it was closed. Not worth it.

This lounge should be removed from the Priority Pass list. The customer service was terrible which is shocking considering the people of Aruba are fabulous, warm, and welcoming. When my family entered the VIP Lounge the male staff member was like why are you here. I explained that I am a priority pass holder and I wanted to enter with my family. He said your membership only allows you and a guest and that I would have to pass for my other two family members in cash. I said no problem but the vibe was off putting. We paid but when we got into the lounge there was limited seating and they had eserved signs on several tables. The female bar tender said we couldn't sit at the seating that had reserved signs but the male staff member at the front said we could. We ended up getting our money back and then we left. Sidebar the food was limited, not worth it, even if you are a priority pass member.

Staff are always friendly. Usually there is only cold food served but when I went this year (July 2023) they had hot food as well. It was a little more crowded than usual but there used to be 2 lounges airside going to US. I think now only this one is open. It closed at 4:30 (I thought in the past it was open later) thankfully our flights began boarding at 5 so it wasn't a problem for us.

04/17/19: 4.0 out of 5 - Been to several lounges in the past for comparison. So as far as the VIP Lounge Aruba goes, it's quite nice. The lounge is ample in size with plenty of seating that is kept very clean. There is air conditioning which is better than the regular airport space at the gates. There is a decently small foods available. I'm sure it changes out day-to-day. There is also beers, sodas, water, and espresso available. Definitely a nice area to hang out in after getting through the double customs and security procedures on the Aruba airport.

Really a nice clean place. Quiet and comfortable chairs. But I paid $84 and wasnt told they closed in 2 hours. An hour later I was rudely told to leave now. Ended up staying for another hour but the internet didn't work for but about 10 minutes. Drinks were good and strong, but the sandwiches barely had 1/4 of a thin slice of lunch meat and a tiny slice of cheese. Men's toilet was broken. Save your money and sit with the masses!

Great lounge. Much better than sitting at the gate. Food was ok, staff did a good job of keeping the place clean.

Oct. 2020 Great place to relax and grab a couple cocktails and simple food items. Update March 2021. Here for a 1pm flight. After one hour 12pm, we are the only ones in here. Quiet. Liquor, beer, and wine.

It was not great. This lounge was very crowded and there wasn't much seating. Tables were dirty. Food options were bare. You are limited to some meat sandwiches, chips, and muffins. Coffee and tea were also available, but note that there is no non-dairy milk. Bathrooms are pretty nice. If you don't have Priority Pass it is NOT worth it.

A very nice place to relax before leaving Aruba. Drinks were fine (although I did hear one lady scoff at only having Bacardi for her rum and coke geeeeze) Snacks and food were basic but plentiful. Wasn't expecting a Michelin 5 star restaurant. It was quiet and relaxing. Could have done some work if I wasn't on vacation. Overall, a very pleasant visit

The staff isnt up to speed on some program criteria. They insisted we were only allowed one guest when in reality we are allowed 2 and the staff was unwilling to hear us when we tried to explain this. Additionally the food was ice cold. The lounge itself is Clean and inviting though.

It was okay. Not a lot of food. A few small sandwiches and muffins, however they were tasty. Was very crowded. We had to wait before entering. There were plenty of outlets for charging phones. Could use an upgrade as space was outdated.

Good lounge, not too busy. Good local beer selection. Nice place to relax before 5 hour flight. We were able to take a few beers for the flight as well.

We had a 3 hour wait before our flight departure. It was quiet, they offered drinks and food to tide over for the plane ride. The ladies were very helpful and professional.

It’s nothing too fancy but is a great place to relax while waiting for your flight. Comfortable couches and lots of space. Priority Pass works to get in as a well if you have it.

  • 4/5 Andy K. 1 year ago on Google
It's not bad for relaxing. It's only about one room and I believe a meeting room by the entrance. Didn't stay because it was overcrowded. Besides the big cushion lounge chairs, the bar takes up the back wall as soon as you walk in with a small section to the right for snacks. If you want to come to the lounge, your best bet is to come extremely early. Accounting for the time you would even spend at the numerous checkpoints. The lounge had a wait-list when I was there, it was filled with parents and their children as well, and the reception would come out to notify flyers when space was available for them.

  • 4/5 Kristina 1 year ago on Google
Very limited space, lounge was full and we waited around 30 min for the access. But staff is very friendly and they were making sure we’re seated once space is available. The food options is very limited, there was hot soup (very good though), very simple sandwiches and muffins. Only black tea, coffee and orange juice.

Very comfortable. Could use more help with cleanup. A lot of trash on tables. Im sure its the same here with lack of employees

The lounge was pleasant but small. The restroom needed attention as one toilet was clogged. The attendants were polite but too engaged on their phones.

There's two VIP lounges but only one of them was open so I'm reviewing that one (by gate 8). Pros: clean lounge, other than other people littering it. They had decent muffins and someone walked around carrying wraps (turkey or ham) which was very nice Cons: the lounge itself was small. There was a brief blackout and during that time they wouldn't let anyone in because their machine wasn't working (not their fault but a mild inconvenience because I think they could have written down the priority pass numbers and entered it later but understand if that's protocol). But then they closed the lounge at 4:39pm, which is a weird time to close especially since they said they'd be open til 17:00 which is 5pm. The other VIP lounge had a note posted on the door that said "open at 04:00-6:30pm" but it never opened.

Great experience Food, spirits and relaxation away from the gate crowds at $42 per person for a day pass

  • 3/5 Christina M. 2 years ago on Google
Awful food options that doesn't even rival the Dutch bar. Not the nicest or friendliest staff. But having your own space for ~$42 per person with limited drink options makes it almost of worth it?

  • 5/5 Gloria L. 2 years ago on Google
We had a three hour layover and hung out at the VIP Lounge a great place to go before your flight. But you need to have your membership pass for entry and once inside you are served free sandwich, snacks, beverages, and cocktails. Friendly service, restrooms, and phone chargers available.

  • 3/5 Charley B. 1 year ago on Google
Not stellar but restful and quieter than the general airport. The chocolate muffins are to die for. Restrooms need to be much cleaner. I noticed that Priority Pass is accepted for entry. The seating is comfortable

No coffee as the machine is broken, no beer, no red wine. You get 2 free drinks pp with entry, 3 hours max stay. Food options good…soup, meatballs, salads, breads, cheese, peanuts, soft drinks.

If you are trying to get away from crying babies, this still isn't the spot. Seems they are everywhere. Very light snacks. The potato chips were good. Good for a spot to sit semi alone.

42 bucks for a nice seat. Bathroom reaks of urine , my wife said the woman's room was worse. Somebody needs to clean this place. Plenty of people standing around who could clean. This could be a much better experience.

Easily the worst lounge I have ever been to. Walk in and it’s a dark room in the back. Garbage still on tables. Food was nothing but hamburger buns and some cheap chips. That’s right just stale hamburger buns piled in a case. Bartender was sitting out at the entrance talking with other people employees. So no drinks no food. I hate the point. Might as well sit by the gate. It’s was just weird. They should be ashamed

I was better than waiting in the main terminal, but the drink selection was limited, and the food was a bunch of terrible frozen food, mozzarella sticks, and chicken fingers. Oh, and you are better off using the terminal rest room than the one here . It is nasty.

  • 2/5 Martin G. 6 months ago on Google
Seriously overcrowded place. I think perhaps more crowded than the actual regular waiting area in the rest of the airport. Food scarce and almost non existent. Variety of drinks also extremely limited. Came in and ended up essentially forced to sit on a bar stool, no comfort, no privacy, nothing resembling what an airport lounge should look like #prioritypass and #loungekey should really keep a closer eye of what kind of value are these facilities providing to their users. First and last visit to this lounge.

It is a lounge, but they have limited drinks, food, and seating. Ate a bag of chips and a slice of cheese on a roll. Good news: it's free (with entry). Bad news: I almost wish I'd paid $$ to eat at a restaurant

Quieter than open gate areas. Food isn't that good. Drinks are good but limited bar service. Clean bathrooms. Limited number of power outlets.

This lounge is nothing too fancy but much better than the gate area. They serve drinks and sandwiches. Couches are also very comfy. I wouldn't pay to come in here but if you have priority pass it's a good stop

Nice, clean and quiet with okay snack food and great drinks. A perfect place to wait for a departing flight, out of the hustle and bustle of the main terminal.

  • 5/5 Derek A. 3 years ago on Google
Nice lounge but small. Minimal food choices, but if you are like me that is not why you use a lounge. Every one was very nice and friendly. We had to wait for 2.5 hours for our flight and it was worth it.

A nice clean, quiet and relaxing place to wait for a flight. Some soup and sandwiches were available and the bartender poured great drinks. Super clean restrooms and a friendly, attentive staff make this place a welcome respite from the rat race of the main terminal.

Great lounge to await your flight. Comfortable chairs that are arranged to provide appropriate COVID separation. Facilities and bathrooms are clean and modern. Wifi is very good. There are drinks and a limited selection of beer available along with chips/snacks and small, varied sandwiches. This is the second time using the lounge and we plan to use it again the next time we're coming home from Aruba.

Always a great place to rest and wait for our long flight home. Usually has good finger sandwiches, soup and drinks ready to be served. Staff is very polite and helpful and keeps the place clean. We enjoy going there, even though it means our vacation has come to an end.
