Went for a nice dinner with my wife and it was everything people said about it and more. The service was top notch! We started out with drinks, my wife had a pineapple martini that she said was delicious. We ate the spicy shrimp and clams for appitizer that was so good we asked for extra bread so we can eatnall the sauce. For the main course I ate the tuna steak which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. My wife ate the coconut shrimp which she said was the best she ever had. We were way to stuffed to order dessert but we will without a doubt be coming here again. The food was incredible!! I wish we had more time in Aruba so we can go for another dinner. Make sure you make reservations a few weeks in advance, the place is small and fills up quick.

Outstanding food! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Aruba and will definitely return. The spicy shrimp and polenta appetizer was delicious and I will be trying to replicate that at home

Food is superb. We’ve eaten there 3-4 times as it’s conveniently located near our condo - and because the food is THAT good. Grouper a la bruschetta is outstanding. Peppercorn steak has amazing flavor. Appetizers are all great. Cocktails - yum. Dessert - try the affogato. We have friends joining us later this week, and Oak has become a must-go spot with them. It’s a 3-4 minute cab ride from the Ritz. Reservations are necessary. Kid friendly with a kids menu and high chairs. Gluten free accommodations easily made.

Aruba’s Oak restaurant was highly recommended to us by a few couples who were staying at the condo we’re at. This small, relatively new restaurant has both indoor and patio dining. There is no view as the restaurant is located in an upscale condo hotel away from the beach. The very friendly staff at the Oak make up for the lack of a view. The food was super. The portions were sufficient with excellent presentation. Our waiter was a real pro who is one of the best we experienced during our many dining experiences while in Aruba this time. Reservations are essential.

This is what you deserve. I came in with a takeaway order. Was waiting for a good hour! Table of four people that came 15 minutes after me got their food 10 minutes earlier! Really? And 15% “service” included in the bill for this? This is a joke, not a restaurant. They put cold tuna salad on the top of the hot dish in the same bag and as I came home in 1 min drive the salad was hot. Awesome. Great place. They owe me 60 bucks for this “experience”.

Hands down the best restaurant In Aruba!!!!!!! It all started with the servers Jose, Felipe and the owner Ricardo. Exceptional service. Every suggestion they made we got and was knocked off our feet. It's a must try when you are on the island. We went twice in one week. I travel all over the world and have eaten at the most amazing restaraunts and this is by far my favorite restaraunt i have ever been to.

Oak is one of the newest restaurants in Aruba opening up in 2018, and we were so happy we were able to try it on our most recent trip!! The restaurant is owned and operated by one of the most friendly people we’ve met on the island Ricardo who has over 20 years in the restaurant business on the island!! Given the popularity of the restaurant reservations are a must! The restaurant is small and welcoming with beautiful wood tables! The service was attentive and extremely friendly. The food was delicious with wonderful fried calamari, Caesar salad, fried goat cheese, and mozzarella and tomato salad!! The peppercorn steak that was so tender you barely needed a knife and coconut shrimp were phenomenal entrees. The brownie dessert was can’t miss and we ordered it because we had seen it at another table. Highly recommend!!

My family has been going to aruba for the past 5 years and we have eaten an many of the popular restaurants but none compare to oak. The food atmosphere and service were amazing. The spicy shrimp and clam app is to die for . David was our server and recommended our entire meal and drinks and he nailed it. He is super friendly along with the rest of staff. If i had 1 complaint is thats i t is challenging to get reservation

A+++ We travel to Aruba often & last night's dinner at Oak was memorably the best we've ever had on the island. From the initial welcome, the impeccable service from José (who served us as well as "created" our cocktails from scratch by asking our favorite flavors ~ Wow!) to the best appetizer, no exaggeration, of my life (clams & shrimp in spicy garlic & cream sauce) to our outstanding entrees. I simply cannot recommend Oak enough & if you miss making a reservation here, you're missing the best dining experience in Aruba. P.s. The key lime pie was so tempting but I was too full for dessert. Knowing this, José arrived with a key lime pie martini, which was insanely delicious. Cannot wait to go again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Highly recommend this hidden gem. Food was excellent..one of the best meals we had here in Aruba! Service was friendly. No view but the food is well worth it! We had escargot as an app, the coconut snapper and ahi tuna for entrees. Both were delicious! Fully stocked bar and a selection of wine to choose from. Bon Appétit!

My first trip to Aruba and this gem just blew us away. The service is top notch, the staff are super friendly and the food, to die for. For an appetizer I ordered their signsture spicy shrimp and clams on polenta and man was I not disappointed. The Shrimp, suculent, the clams perfectly cooked in the shell and the sauce rich and creamy with a kick. This sauce pairs amazingly with bread. For main courses the grouper bruchetta and the coconut snapper were cooked to perfection. Tasty, flaky and the sauces and vegetables absolutely astounding. If you are looking for a great dinner spot with great drinks and good vibes this is your stop. As always, bon appetite!

Lovely place. The ambiance is set to perfection. The host (gentleman) was nice & welcoming, we had a lovely woman name Andri who was polite, helpful and kind. Whomever the runner for the food was, had a very dry demeanor. The food was delicious!! I had the Caprese Salad & the special on the menu which was the Ribeye steak (boneless) it was great. Everything was delicious. The only thing I was not a huge fan was no one bothered to clean the table after the appetizer, or would pickup the share plates that was done to deliver such a great meal on a dirty table. The bread crumbs and olive spread (it just got a little messy). Any way!

Always a wonderful dining experience! Fried Goat Cheese appetizer, Filet Mignon and Seafood Casserole! All amazing! This year, Fried Goat Cheese appetizer, my wife had the Seafood Casserole this time while I had the Garlic and Lemon Grouper filet. Both were wonderful along with my amazing Old Fashioned ! We ended with the Brownie, served warm with fresh vanilla ice cream, wow, this was so good and filling. There is a reason why Oak is so popular, it is constantly an excellent food experience.

This place is amazing! We got there, not realizing a reservation was required, but the hostess said she can try to fit us in if we wanted to wait. We accepted and sat at one of the barrel tables and ordered a cocktail. Halfway through our cocktail she told us a table was ready for us. We ordered our food and despite the kitchen being busy it came out pretty quickly. I had the chicken piccata and it was delicious! The Papiamento old fashioned was so good. The staff was so attentive and pleasant. All around great experience and I would definitely go back the next time I’m in Aruba.

First time visiting oak and I will definitely come back. Food and service were both great. The goat cheese mango wasabi balls were excellent and the steak and shrimp were great. Finished off diner with a delicious brownie Sunday and strawberry cheesecake. If you’re a whiskey or bourbon fan this place is for you. Extensive bar menu.

The Oak in Aruba is a neighborhood staple. A small, quaint restaurant tucked away in the neighborhood with an everybody knows your name upscale Cheers vibe. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by a friendly host, which sets the tone for the rest of the evening. The servers are personable, accommodating, and attentive. Although the menu is limited, you are guaranteed to find something delicious to eat with an open mind and flexible server. The food is flavorful and tasty, seasoned to perfection. I definitely would go back to enjoy the drinks, atmosphere and of course the delicious food. #theoakaruba #aruba #arubafood #theoakrestauarantandbararuba #fallynsfoodieexcursions

What an experience! Impeccable service and incredible food are certainly a winning combination. We have been in Aruba for 4 days and hands down, this was the best meal we've had thus far. This is a must-see stop on the island, hats off to the owner, and compliments to the Chef and staff

Book a head of time! This place is booked out for months at a time. My friends and I got lucky on our last night in Aruba and scored an outside table for three for an 845 pm dinner. It may look like another restaurant on the outside but their kitchen are pumping out some of the most flavorful and delicious dishes. The owners recipes for the seafood casserole is a chefs kiss! Everything our server recommended we ordered… let’s just say we left very satisfied and delighted that we were able to get a table last min. This spot needs to added to your itinerary when you visit Aruba!

Wonderful experience. Excellent steak cooked very well- exactly medium rare to rare. Very tasty. Our waiter had great recommendations. The appetizer he recommended was incredible- spicy shrimp and clams. The homemade limoncello was fantastic. Their cucumber mezcal martini is really good- they use montelobos- which is an excellent organic mezcal. Really great atmosphere. The waiters- especially David are the cutest! They wear suspenders and paddy caps! So fun! Really liked this place. We went September 30- COVID friendly.

Fantastic restaurant. If you are planning to come at peak dinner time make sure to make a reservation. If you don’t have one you’ll have to wait a bit for a table. Or, you can sit at the bar. They have two seats at the bar that most people don’t even notice. The bartenders will take really good care of you. Victor was our server/bartender and he was fantastic. He made us some fantastic cocktails. If you order food you should try the coconut shrimp. They are delicious. If you are looking for a tasty meal and some great cocktails then you should check this place out.

Got there early and got right in without reservations. This is a smaller boutique style resturant. With limited seating inside and out. Probably not the kind of place to take a bunch of kids. Food was amazing. We each had the grouper. All the food going by was fun to look at. Had an amazing piece of Key Lime for dessert. Great for a date night. Smooth Jazz playing in the background. Two person bar, hand crafted drinks and a good selection of wines.

To notch restaurant! The atmosphere is very pleasing with a waitstaff ready to please. I had the surf and turf which I don't believe was on the menu. They first brought hot bread with a unique black Olive paste which was very good. The steak was a perfect sear with a tender and juicy middle and the shrimp were large and succulent. The vegetables and roasted potatoes were a perfect match with on point presentation. I just had a house wine, so I didn't have a chance to try their amply stocked bar, but it looked pretty extensive. The orange cello shot that is on the house was a great touch. I know they have only been open 3 weeks, but I hope they're business takes off. Very pleased.

Absolutely amazing food! I live in NJ and we have excellent food options in NJ/NY and Oak can compete with some of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Hands down one of the best restaurants in any Caribbean Island. After eating at Oak over a half of a dozen times, the food is always fresh, delicious and consistent. I would highly recommend!

The staff is great, particularly, David. Very helpful with recommendations. The spicy shrimp appetizer was a good way to start, not incredibly large and had just the right amount of spice. The peppercorn steak was pretty good, but honestly, the passionfruit wasabi tuna was amazing. But don't forget to order dessert, the key lime pie was perfect. Highly recommend to everyone.

This place had such a fun vibe to it. I like how the entire staff is dressed alike in a dapper attire. We started off with the mango margaritas which had a hint of spiciness and were awesome. Then we had the mushroom soup and Cesar salad which were both yummy. My entree was the peppercorn steak and it was delicious, very tender and the sauce was very flavorful. My wife had the coconut shrimp which was also very very tasty. Highly recommended, good job guys!

I had a delicious red snapper for dinner. They had a kids menu which was great since many places in Aruba do not. Wine was reasonably priced and our waiter was friendly. Be careful for mosquitos if you sit outside - seemed like we got bite a few times.

Almost afraid to post a positive review because it might influence more people to go to Oak and then I won’t be able to get a reservation! 😊 But in total fairness I must say Oak could be the top restaurant in Aruba! Ricardo, who is a most engaging owner, has put together a top flight team and serves food and beverages that are over the top. From the time that Evelyn, who is a very lovely, genuine and affable person, met us at the hostess desk to the very end of our meal, our experience was fantastic. The peppercorn steak was so tender that only a regular knife was needed. I really look forward to our two more visits to Oak on this trip. Thank you Ricardo, Evelyn and the Oak team for a very memorable visit last night!!! 👏👏👏
