I thought I posted this and somehow it didn't stick but we came looking for Mexican food and ended up at a Colombian restaurant that was just out of this world. They have a full bar lots of room for big parties. Our waitress her name was Lady Johanna. Ask for Lady great waitress. we got the chicken with mushrooms it was so very good and it came with rice that was cooked perfectly this is something that I would suggest you try. in addition we got the grilled chicken with the cilantro garlic sauce that was awesome. To have a play area for children and lots of parking out front. we have an appetizer of plantain with cheese on it I never thought those combinations would be good but it was delicious really you should try it. Finally we also got a Caprice salad. this was a normal Caprice a salad which was delicious but it also had avocado so just a little Flair for touch and I think it's a good thing to try also. finally when you come in just know that you can get just about anything you want from chorizo to steak to beef to beans the locals and touristy here there's plenty of room. We found this inland Colombian restaurant very enjoyable, though they di not offer outside seating (the small "terrace" is all enclosed). The simple and in-theme decorations give the dining room a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, catering to locals and families (the restaurant has an adjoining playground). The background music was consistent with the ambiance and at pleasantly low volume. The food was delicious and abundant, I particularly liked the corn Arepitas and plantain Patacon, and our waiter/barman David prepared for me what I consider the best Mohito I had in Aruba this year. We will go back.

Outstanding food! It reminded me of cooking I grew up on in Colombia. The rib broth was out of the world hearty and the meat so tender. La bandeja paisa was a great portion to keep you satisfied and ready to explore the island. Don’t forget to try the fruit juices, the Lulo was so good too. Highly recommend this spot.

Well we came here thinking this would be Mexican food and we would get tacos and enchiladas and we were happily disappointed that that was not the case. It is Colombian food and it is made fresh and it is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a unique appetizer it was a sweet plantain with cheese on it...never thought I would even like it and it was absolutely wonderful. We also shared the Caprice salad. Normal Caprice salad that was very good but it also had avocado which made it just a little special. We ordered the chicken with mushrooms and the sauce on it was so good I can't even explain how good... this was very unexpected. Someone else ordered grilled chicken with a sauce that was like a cilantro garlic sauce it was very unique and very good. They have chorizo and beef and steak and beans and tortillas and many many many different items on the menu such a good variety. They also have vegetarian options that are delicious. they have a play area for children so that was nice we didn't come with our kids but we do think that they would have enjoyed it the play areas for younger children. there's plenty of room so you can come with a large party and they can accommodate easily. We come to Aruba once a year this is a place that will become one of our regular stops. They also have a full bar and you can get everything from wine and beer to mixed drinks. Enjoy and if you come the waitress we had her name is Lady Joanna and her real name is Lady and she was a fabulous waitress. Ask for her :)

Love this place if you want to eat good colombian food and enjoy a little bit of colombia in Aruba then this is the place to be. I love the soup with meat, when I feel sik or might feel it on my water I go here to eat my soup and my kids they love it too. No stingy with the meat they fill it like a real colombian with a lot of meat and patato and the other ingredient. This is the most powerfull soups I know. Next to the soup called Calgo del Res or Caldo de Costilla ( Beef Soup) You have a lot of meat dishes and even fish dishes for the fish lovers. They always suprise me and the best thing the taste is consistent. I always know what I get even if it's busy and this place is always busy, specially during lunchhour as they have combo of the day (Combo di Dia) which has one price and makes it affordable, I had porch Chops with chicken soup and the drink was in the that combo. Love it and I didnt had hunger from 12 to 8.pm

Busy place packed with lots of 'A's so we checked it out. So glad we did. The staff is fantastic here but the food was the star. Had arroz con pollo and it was like my grandmother made it. Portion size is much larger than most can eat.

We love good Colombian cuisine, and Los. Cafeteros certainly fits the bill as great. The restaurant is very family friendly, which my husband and I love to see parents and their children being able to dine out. Everything we have tried so far has been wonderful. We have only dined here twice; however, there will be many more visits to Los Cafeteros. We have only gone for lunch. Since the restaurant is a little more removed from the touristy areas, I prefer daytime driving around the island. We will be back many more time. Thank you for a great culinary experience.
