Went with high expectations. Service was good but wasn’t impressed by the quality of meat used for the pricey beef and goat stews we ordered. The beef was not lean so my kids didn’t like it. I ordered the goat stew which was very flavorful but most fat and bones. Appetizer sampler was good but a bit expensive for the quantity.

Food here was good but the service was disappointing. We liked the stewed goat and oxtail as well as the iguana soup and escargot. Upon ordering a glass of wine, our waiter brought me a cocktail I did not order and proceeded to tell me that I did in fact order the cocktail. When I explained that I wanted (and had asked for) a glass of wine, he had a hissy fit, rolled his eyes at me, and stormed off into kitchen. It’s a shame because the food was good.

The food was good we ordered the goat stew and kids order fettucine Alfredo which was very good. The goat was decent. The weekend day we were there, there was a person singing live songs outside. We sat inside...which helped with heat and humidity. Overall a good experience.

Real. Authentic. Aruban food. I felt like I was in a Grandma's kitchen. The place is rich with history, the food delicious, the service excellent.

Was in Aruba and looking for good food outside the resorts and some place with authentic food in Aruba. A friend and I decided to check out this place and while the walk appeared a little sketchy, it was most certainly worth it! Away from hordes of tourists and a bit of a hidden gem in a neighborhood, this place absolutely was amazing! Great food, great ambiance! I had ordered a local seafood platter dish and it was amazing! We went in the evening and there was a guy playing the guitar and singing which made it even more inviting. I would recommend anyone looking for good food at a local spot to check this place out! Staff and food were amazing!

We wanted to eat at an authentic Arubian restaurant. Our concierge from La Cabana recommended this place. It was absolutely amazing. We spent over 3 hours there. Our server was Jasmin. She was absolutely wonderful. We had no clue what to order. She took her time and helped us order the best meal ever. We started with an appetizer. We had the Fiesta Arubiano sampler. Fishcakes, cheese pastechie, meatballs and squid (calamari). It was amazing. We each had a salad. One Caesar salad and one mixed salad. For the main dish, I had the keeshi yena. It was delicious. My husband had the Cabrito Stoba (stewed goat meat). Also delicious. She made a drink for us. Calabash juice. A healthy drink. It was delicious. We had a special coffee she made us with a touch of whipped cream. Yummy. Then we had a dessert sampler. Bread pudding (the best I ever had), chocolate coconut ice cream (yummy), flan, and another one that was delicious as well. I honestly forgot the name of it. They did not have the iguana soup that day. I will definitely have that the next time I go. We went before the dinner rush. Next time I want to go later to enjoy the live music. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food. Excellent service. Quant location. The veal was so juicy and delicious. Their corn bread was a delightful surprise in texture. Goat was great. Keeshi Yena was unique. Not my preferred flavor profile though.

Nice little restaurant with local food. It has a nice ambiance. We tried a traditional dish as well as the beef stew. Pretty good. Many locals seem to like it as well.

This place is definitely under rated. First of all, if you are looking for a super fancy 4 dollar sign restaurant, then this is not the place. But if you are looking for a great tasty local food with a nice atmosphere then this is it. We are foodie people and always love to explore, and this place didn’t let us down. Definitely go try their marinated seafood, oxtails stew and seafood Palm beach.

Awesome atmosphere and very friendly staff. The reviews are true and the food was amazing with reasonable price. My wife ordered the fried red snapper and she loved it. I ordered the oxtail stew and it was fall off the bone tender while the sauce was so flavorful. Try the refreshing Aruba Ariba drink. We will definitely be returning here again next time we are in Aruba.

I thought the food was good....a really nice setting indoor/outdoor. The staff was very friendly, and the service was just fine. Food was served in a timely manner. I had the Keshi Yena which is stewed shredded chicken with olives, toppes with meltes cheese. The starter was their appetizer sampler, all deep fried items, including beef meatballs which were yummy. They make a goood cocktail too 😉 If you're in Oranjestad, Aruba it's worth a visit.

Oh my, this is the number 1 so far. The goat stew was AMAZING, oxtail was excellent, iguana soup delicious (wasn’t expecting it to be), desserts amazing too and the service was impeccable. Go here and you won’t be disappointed.

This was our last dinner for our trip and the food was great! We had the chance to try iguana soup and it was surprisingly very similar to chicken noodle soup. Everyone was super nice and the environment was perfect!

Was recommended here by our taxi driver for local food and was not disappointed! Delicious food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere — was one of the best restaurants on our trip! We will definitely be returning :)

Awesome local place. The vibe is totally chill they speak all languages. The food is slow cooked the dust is super friendly. We had the beef soup and pumpkin soup 🍲 they were good and the sampler which was nice the drinks weren't watered down which was good some places they are we had the hurricane and the kokonu special. For main we had beef stew and seafood platter. The platter dishes melted in your mouth. There was no line they do take reservations if you want to make but they had tables available when we walked in even with reservations. They have inside and outside it was breezy night do we ate outside. They also had liver music

This is another hidden. What I love most about this place is the family vibe. The food takes like it was cooked in your grandmother’s kitchen. Our entree’s were delicious. The only thing that I wasn’t satisfied with was the sampler platter- I think that’s the right name. lol. It was ehhhh…. But everything else was delicious. The ox tails and red snapper was tasty. To be honest. The red snapper here is a definite competition to the res snapper served at Zeerover.

Amazing place. Jasmin mades us feel at home. The food is so amazing. The whole snapper fried, the goat stew, the conch stew, the ceviche are to die for. Any drink tastes incredible. It was really authentic and best part we made a new friend and ate with local people.

The food was great, especially if you want to try local food. My husband loved his Oxtail Stew stated," this is the best Oxtail that I have ever had. " And of course, I had the lobster, which was amazing! The place is very welcoming with a very friendly staff! When I go back to Aruba, this is a place that I would return to.

Everything about this place was great. Atmosphere food service. A true local experience. My party had the seafood medley, iguana soup, stewed oxtail, goat, and conch.

This place was really over price for what it is. The conch stew and Keshi Yena was too salty. Both have a generous amount of meat though. The coconut shrimp was not crispy and was a little too sweet. The Total bill was $90.00 usd with one cocktail. For the same price you can get better on the island.

The best local food on Aruba plus really great service and lovely, cosy interior. They have a vegetarian option of a arubian dish Keshi yena. You have to order dessert called Peanut cup - amazing combination of flavors. I will come back there with no doubts.

We always like to try a local country food which are authentic to that country. We went to Old Cunucu house based on recommendation from hotel staff and also online reviews. This was a great recommendation. Aruban pancake appetizer was really great. We ordered few other items including Catch of the day and everything was excellent

😠 This was our final night in Aruba and we were hoping for an amazing meal. We made a reservation for Gianni’s the day prior for 6:30, arrived at 6:15, and were immediately seated. We ordered by 6:45 and our meals didn’t come until 7:40. If the food was amazing I would have been happy to wait but the...

👍👍 This is my favorite restaurant in Aruba! The ambiance is literally a dream - I wish I could make my backyard look like this. They have such soothing live music. 👍👍 I’ve heard many people recommend this restaurant over the last year, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. They have a $1 taco Tuesday special, but it’s only for 2 kinds of tacos on the menu. Still, the food was SO good. There are so many types of tacos to choose from, but the Korean chicken was m...
