We had a very disappointing experience. We asked for steamed food and vegetables. I specifically asked for sauce on the side. The waiter said they can’t do that but would have the dishes sauced very lightly. Our dishes came full of tasteless sauce and when we provided feedback, the waiter became argumentative and rude. The hot and sour soup was sweet and not good, but the wonton soup was good. The bill was $101 for two sodas, two soups and two main dishes. Overall - sub par food and overpriced. Not recommended.

The food is amazingly high quality and the flavors were just right. We were satisfyingly full and even had some room for dessert! The jasmine tea was great along with some quesillo and vanilla ice-cream. Good service and I enjoyed the traditional Chinese art displayed all over the restaurant. Overall, I recommend Universal Restaurant. Definitely will be back again :)
