My wife and I found this place about 3 blocks from our Renaissance resort. It's tucked away from the tourist area so we assumed correctly that the locals eat there. I assumed it was a Latin restaurant because of the name but that's not the case. It has steak, seafood and sushi. I ordered the flank steak and it was decent. My wife ordered the Lobster bouillabas and she loved it. The service was great. Definitely recommend.

The worst service I've ever had. Took over a hour and a half to get any part of our meal. The wait staff had no clue what they were doing. I had 1 water the entire time I was here and we ended up grabbing the water for our table because they didnt refill our water. Food wasnt very good either. I wouldn't eat here unless you had a entire evening to spend here waiting for "all you can eat" food.

Food was mediocre at best. Sushi came out at a decent time, but it took an hour for pad Thai. If it wasn’t for our neighbors conversation we would have got up and left.

This place is a hidden gem. And I almost don't want to advertise it because I don't want it to get too popular. The venue is relaxed, with a fun decor, friendly atmosphere, and great staff. We ordered the chef's platter as an appetizer, and as main dishes my friend ordered the mixed grill and I ordered the tuna steak. The chef's platter is a mixture between some of the daily specials and appetizers from the regular menu. We got lucky and got the veal, chorizo, and mushroom stew in a wine burgundy sauce, salmon with asparagus with an artichoke sauce, beef carpaccio, fried shrimp with a sweet and spicy sauce, black olive tapenade, and bread. Needles to say, everything was delicious, but the best was the carpaccio and the stew. I used all the bread to soak up the sauce from the stew, it was that good. My tuna steak was excellent, cooked rare, with vegetables, and a nice teriyaki sauce. My friends mixed grill was also delicious. The steak was cook perfectly and with the chimichurri sauce is good. This place is definitely a must if you're in Old Town.

Wonderful little restaurant in the downtown area of Aruba. Our bartender river (hopefully spelled right) was awesome, friendly and was giving us nice advice about where to go since it’s our first time. Our drinks were great! We got the pink flower and the strawberry basil mule. For food we decided to just get something small since it was only 4pm. We split the ceviche with passion fruit and the temptation roll. The ceviche was very good, we loved that they did more of a sweet potato purée then chunks of potato, and it had the perfect amount of acidity. The temptation roll came out and it was probably one of the best rolls we’ve ever had. We weren’t too sure when we realized it came out warm, but honestly it made it even better. So happy we found this place on our first day here!

The food was pretty good, and service was amazing. We had a chef suggested Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand which was very great. The house bread was one of my favorite parts of the meal! Stellar bread! Onion soup and steak tartare for starters. We didn’t like the steak tartare, but I think that was personal preference more than quality. A “Que Pasa” sushi roll and grilled flank steak for main course. Overall, it was good. I was surprised at the bill, $85 with tip, but it might just be the cost of things here.

Good unlimited a la carte menu for brunch. There is no buffet if that’s what you are looking for. Good food but the price was a bit much for the quality and lack of selection. You can get a better bang for your buck at smaller local places.

The food was mediocre, but we didn't find that out until over an hour after it was ordered. The restaurant wasn't even very busy, yet management still "apologized" by blaming us that we didn't have a reservation. The all-you-can-eat portion of the bill was cut in half, which was nice of them to do.

Simply put: not good. The owner is nice and friendly however the food is average, a best. I got the sushi, which was okay. My fiance ordered the orange chicken. No flavor, just tasted like fried chicken with a tasteless glaze. The restaurant is in a cute area and the live music is a nice touch. If you are in the mood for mediocre sushi with nice ambiance, I'd come here. If you're anything like a foodie, you'll be upset you wasted your limited time on vacation at a sub par restaurant, on an island with some of the best culinary experiences.

How does this place not have 5 stars? Personable, knowledgeable servers. You can tell they like what they do and that they REALLY know the food. Sushi was great, cooked options abound if you’re so inclined and the cocktails are spot on. The atmosphere is beautiful and a blend of many Asian cultures just like the menu.

In my top 2 vegan meals I had in all of Aruba. DELICIOUS vegan food and a decent sized vegan menu. Vegan vegetable tempura was amazing. Best vegan tempura I've ever had. Pad thai was a HUGE portion and also very good. My only suggestion is that they add more peanut sauce for the vegan pad thai but otherwise, it was perfect. Vegan poke bowls also available. Definitely come here if you are vegan/vegetarian.

Well. Let me tell you why I put 1 star. The 1 star is for that one girl whom me and my partner unfortunately dont know her name that gave us good service. Other than that there is allot and I mean allot of room for improvement: 1. Food is not special, it was ok, passable which is disappointing since the price me and my partner paid was not for passable food but good delicious food and thats not what we were given, it feels like there is no effort put into the flavors or presentation, it was very basic. 2. Hygiene. The host wanted to place us near the bar which isnt a bad location at all but it smelled heavily of bathroom. We really couldnt imagine and hope that the smell was not coming from the kitchen. It was strong enough for us to ask to be seated elsewhere because it was unappetizing. 3. Service, the waiters and waitresses dont bat an eye at you if you are not their table to wait, nobody checks up to see how the food is or if you need anything. Our waitress was busy tending to other tables for a long time so it would take really long before we would see her again or could get her attention and ask for something, beside that she was very kind but we really wish the other waiters and or waitresses would get out of their way to check up, that alone would improve the experience that a client could have at any restaurant. 4. Experience, one of the waiters that was pouring water, spilled allot of it on the floor right next to our table, an accident can always happen we completely understand. What we dont understand is why nobody came to mop it, the spilled water was all over the floor by our table the whole time we were there from when we got our appetizers to main course until we left and literally nobody working there cared to clean it up. Our main courses came separately with a long waiting time inbetween, that was also disappointing. We ordered them together and would like to receive all of them together. For the location that dragonfly has they have allot of opportunity to make a good name for themselves culinary wise and experience wise but it seems that they dont want that cause judging by the amount of people giving the same kind of suggestions to improve food and service both still hasnt improved. I wont come here again until I see reviews stating a good culinary experience and a good service experience. I hope this helps.

Very disappointing, from the ice- and unripe-melon packed white sangria to the undersized and bland poke bowl. Try another of the few downtown choices if you're in Oranjestad on a Sunday night...

Truly can't understand the good reviews. We wanted to love this place and we were excited by the good reviews and the fact that it seemed fun and quirky. Unfortunately both the service and the food were terrible when we were there. The mahi mahi special I ordered was a sad, dry, overcooked piece of fish sitting in a huge plate of butter. On the side were soggy, undercooked sweet potato fries and bland cooked veggies. I could have cooked a better dinner myself. My friend's chicken schnitzel was equally disappointing. We are NOT picky eaters, but we left after eating less than half of our meals. Also, we waited almost an hour for this food to come out. We were incredibly disappointed.

This restaurant was referred to us by a local on our recent trip. Based on the rave reviews we decided to visit for dinner on my birthday. We attempted, but were unable to make reservations online, so we decided to just show up. Upon arrival the waitress asked if we'd made reservations, and refused to seat us even though there was a vacant table for 2. We decided to order drinks at the bar while we waited only for the waitress to seat us at the table that had been free all along!! The food menu was limited and I had a trying time deciding on what to order, because there was nothing I really cared for. That was disappointing seeing as how there was so much build-up prior to our dinner. The portions were small and the food was not at all flavorful. The crispy brie salad was bland. The Aribi Aruba roll was basic. And the rest of the items were so plainly forgetful as I can't recall what more we ordered. Please disregard all of the advertisements and try anywhere else.

Love the idea of mixing a restaurant with an art gallery. The food was as artistically presented and delicious as the walls and the artwork that covered them. Absolutely loved the food and service was amazing. I would recommend this to everyone as a must try, love the décor exclamation

Came here for dinner off a whim because it was off the main street in downtown Oranjestad, a few blocks away from the Renaissance hotel. They do meat, seafood, and sushi. The menu has changed some since we visited. I had the Caribbean snapper, which was excellent, with mashed potatoes, plantains, and veggies on the side that made the dish very flavorful. My wife got convinced to try the kangaroo(it was a special), but she didn't enjoy it, because you have to serve it rare or medium rare. Our server didn't tell us that before ordering. Otherwise, a good experience. Drinks were great. But try it. Different menu now.

I was a long time fan of Que Pasa for many years. It used to be a casual but nice place to have great food. Going back after a few years, I suspect there was a change in ownership/management. Food, format and decor is not the same. For my taste it was all pretty average, and I doubt I’ll be going back. I had great memories at that place including a first date with my now wife. I’ll miss the delicious white fish tataki, and am thankful for introducing me to olive tapenade so many years ago. Thanks for the memories old Que Pasa, you’ll be missed.

Best brunch we have had in a while! It was unlimited small plates but they were absolutely delicious! The bottomless mimosas were also a great plus! The service was also amazing! Highly recommend to anyone visiting for a great brunch experience! Great range of food variety too, from sushi, to egg dishes, to chicken and waffles! It was all really great!

Fantastic food and service. We were a party of 9. Everyone truly enjoyed their meals. Our server Patricia was excellent. We had crispy frog legs, escargot and mushrooms, fisherman's soup, bacon wrapped goat cheese, calamari, shrimp Pina colada, seafood Venice, kangaroo tenderloin, pork cheek. We definitely will return.

Let's start off by saying, best service we have ever received. Our server was happy, helpful and always smiling. We both had Steak with with pepper gravy, grilled to perfection, very tender. We never opt for desert but did tonight with the lave cake and blueberry cheesecake, both did not disappoint. I had the Caribbean ice tea and my husband asked for a mystery cocktail, he received the sweet and sour. We shared because they were both so good.

Food was great but the service, that needs an urgent fix. It took us 3 hrs in total in that restaurant. However, there is one red wine that was the best that i ever drank. Wine lovers would for sure like this one.

Great food for reasonable prices. We had their taco “appetizer” and it was this smoky beef tenderloin thing....basically the best tacos I’ve ever had. I had the lasagna for an entree and it was pretty good. Great service, too!

If you want good service and great food this is the place. They serve the tastiest escargots on the island. Appetiser average price $14 USD and main course $35 USD. You might need to book as the place is good.

My husband and I went there to have dinner for our last night on the island after getting some recommendations from locals + looking up online. The service was warm and friendly, we had a really nice bottle of wine and for starters we had tuna tartare which was very tasty and a seafood special that was ok. What was disappointing were the main courses- I had the saffron grouper special that didn’t have enough seasoning at all, and my husband had the caprese grouper which was loaded with cheese and was pretty greasy. For dessert we had the creme brûlée, which if it had some more time in the fridge after making it, would have been delicious. Overall- it was ok. Wouldn’t come back because nothing was special, especially comparing to all the wonderful restaurants this island has to offer, for a similar price.

This was our second time visiting Que Pasa? We had two great meals last night. My wife had the skirt steak and I had the butcher steak which was on the special menu for the evening. Both dishes were fantastic. The surrounding area was subject to a blackout so they were packed with business. The manager was working so hard taking care of multiple rooms with her staff. Our meals were delicious and the service was attentive and great. Looking forward to being back next time we come to the island.

This place is great! In addition to the regular menu, they also had several daily specials. My husband had calamari for appetizer and a fish dish from the daily specials menu for his entree. Presentation and taste were excellent! I had the tuna pepper steak which was equally delicious! I'm so glad we decided to go there, and I highly recommend checking this place out. Make reservations! After last year's great experience, we wanted to come back again this year. However, we didn't love it quite as much this time. We ordered the carpaccio appetizer which was delicious and enough to share. For our entrees, my husband had the pork shank which was good but not great (we've had pork shank in Germany many times and those are hard to beat!). I had one of the specials, nutty corvina, which was very good! However, I never got my potatoes, and I didn't want to wait around until my fish was cold. Our server apologized and she clearly felt bad. She said she'd adjust our bill, but when we received our bill, no adjustments were made which was quite disappointing. It's not about the money but about the courtesy to try to fix mistakes---which we understand happen! Portions are small but luckily we're not big eaters so it was plenty for us. Overall, it's a really nice quaint little place and the food is very good! Just be aware that portions are on the small side and an appetizer may be needed if you're a big eater.

That's one star too many. Google should introduce 0-star rating for places like that. The place looks decent and the waiter was good, but the food was horrible. I have to admit Japanese is my favorite cuisine, but this is the worst Japanese food I've ever tried. There were four of us eating there, we all ordered different things, but everyone was very unhappy with his food.

My girlfriend and I wanted dinner. She is Brazilian. As we pass in front of the restsurant, a guy speaks to her in Portugese. Doing his best to sell us a "all you can eat sushi". My girlfriend likes sashimi so we decided to do the $25.00 per person all you can eat. Turns out, it was a bait and switch because sashimi is $7.50 extra when you order. My girlfriend asked, "is the sashimi fresh", we were lied to by the con guy and a waiter. When my girl finally asked another waiter, he admitted that the fish is frozen. The sushi was not what we were used to, overall, my girl got very dissapointed by the food and the lies. Bad experience overall and she won't even talk about it. For me, I couldn't give anything lower than 1 star because there is nothing less. Dragon Fly, bad advertising, con trying to hook clients into a bait and switch.

Dragonfly is a pretty little Chinese restaurant in a strip of restaurants that has one of everything when it comes to dining. The service is excellent, food is served quickly and hot. The sushi menu is fairly complete, the list of hot meals is limited, but covers the basics. The dumplings and egg rolls were tasty. The food itself rarely rises above strip mall takeout in the US. It has been Americanized to the point of being filling but not interesting. When it first opened a few years ago it served beautifully plated dishes with little sauces and crudites, but no more. Go there if you want a quick basic Chinese meal or, better yet, take-out.

WARNING! Most sushi here has cream cheese in it. Even California rolls, to my daughter's surprise! Rest of sushi was lame and bland. All you can eat is ok if you sneak edamame and fried gyoza's to your kids and keep ordering as fast as possible. Spicy tuna roll was almost passable. Skip it and get sushi back home.

Get here early for their early bird special offers. My wife and I did the all you can eat option, which was fun to get a little taste of the multiple types of sushi they have to offer. The food was good and drinks decent. The owner or manager sits out front and hounds people walking by to come in and eat, which we found kind of annoying as we were sitting outside. Other then that the rest of the staff was friendly and quick!

Pretty good food for Asian in Aruba would definitely suggest over other Asian places in the area. Teriyaki sauce is good not the best but not the worst, chicken is fried not grilled but it's a good dish. Sushi rolls with cream cheese are kind gross, so if you do their all you can eat sushi most of the rolls get without cream cheese unless you really like cream cheese. If you get the regular rolls ask for them to make them how you normally would get them. For example the shrimp tempura roll they do is very strange with cream cheese and crab in Asian mayo, but if you ask for shrimp tempura with cucumber and avacado like most places make it then it's pretty good. They will make the rolls as you request (price may vary) so just ask for the rolls you would normally eat made the way you like them. The is good quality and fresh, rice is not the worst. Biggest thing to remember is it's Asian causine in Aruba, so don't go if you're expecting the same experience as a place in NYC.

Food was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals - even our picky 10 year old. Reasonably priced and within walking distance of our hotel - Holiday Inn.

Food was super bland. Tuna and salmon tasted like water and naturally previously Frozen. Fried rice was totally tasteless (sent back). Mongolian beef was decent but overcooked. Pad Thai was decent but void of any flavor. Hot Saki was very good.

The manager was overbearing. He would harass people as they walked by the restaurant. This is a big turn off. Would not have eaten there if we had not already planned to. The food was ok. Too much teriyaki sauce on our meals.

Thought it would be great, it was ok. Sushi was fresh and good, but a bit odd and nothing to run back for again. Enjoyed, service was good, we sat outside on a beautiful night, was hoping to have our socks knocked off, anything but. Great meal, but pretty average for sushi.

Loved this place! My tastebuds were in for a treat! Egg rolls, shrimp, bread - everything was super delicious. Service is impeccable as well, they take their time to explain you everything and every item in their menu you have questions about. I’d definitely be back next time I’m in Aruba. Beware though, very pricy place and prices are in US dollars. Totally worth it though!

Interesting specialty menu based on white asparagus. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was top notch, my wife got a Mojito and she moved it. The bartender was on fire that night! Our appetizer were escargot with cheese sauce and mushrooms (5 stars). For our entrees I got the Tournedos Rosinni, basically a pan cooked steak (very tasty but it could have been more tender) with gooseliver topping with mashed potatoes with a delicious sauce. My wife got the Treasure of the Sea, parmesan crusted wahoo with funchi fries and pumpkin, she loved it.

Had the Sunday brunch and it was amazing, a lot of options and our server Jose was fantastic. The portions were perfect for this type of small plate, continuous, eating experience. One of our favorite meals of the trip.

What a great dining experience from start to finish. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door, the atmosphere was nice and romantic, and all of the food ordered was delicious. Excellent dinner choice when in the area.

In general the restaurant and food is okay (we eat here before) however the management is poor! Que Pasa offer 2 wine pairing events on their site at the same day, a small and a big one. We decided to book 3 days in advance the small one (mostley we order extra wine and food) for a party of 4 and received a confirmation! However just less than 2 hours before our reservation Que Pasa called us up and canceled our reservation! Reason: they only do the big wine pairing. Overall: poor management & services. Customer loyalty, zero. Why is Que Pasa spending time and money on advertising but are not able to take care of their own reservations?

I only came here because it was part of the dinner portion of the ku ku kanukoo bus, so I didn't actually get to look at a menu and pick my meal. The food was okay, we were served chicken and rice with a "peanut sauce" it was literally peanut butter in a bowl. The chicken was bland, but the rice was good.

Unfortunately the service is not what it used to be. There where mixed up between the waiters, drinks took to much time and the food was average needs some ❤️. Water didn't get refilled. And i didn't get a " servetje" when my food arrived. The ambience is still cozy and beautiful. Dessert was not that amazing either. Over and all we had a much better experience before this time. 😌

Upon arriving at Que Pasa Restaurant, my anticipation was high as I had heard great things about the place. However, the evening didn't unfold quite as I had hoped. The restaurant was understaffed, resulting in an unfortunate delay in service. While the staff displayed good manners and were apologetic about the situation, their efficiency suffered, leaving a lot to be desired. I had made a reservation for 8:00 PM, expecting a seamless dining experience. However, I wasn't seated until 8:20 PM, which was a bit frustrating. It took another 24 minutes for my order to be taken, adding to the overall sense of inefficiency. Despite the slow service, I must acknowledge that the staff remained courteous throughout the evening. Their polite demeanor did help alleviate some of the frustration caused by the delays. However, it couldn't overshadow the fact that the timing of the whole experience felt out of sync. While I did appreciate the ambiance and the effort put into the restaurant's décor, I couldn't help but feel disappointed that the evening didn't leave a lasting impression. The slow service detracted from what could have been a truly memorable dining experience. Considering the circumstances, I would recommend visiting Que Pasa Restaurant on a more casual night, when time constraints and high expectations won't play a significant role. It may be better suited for a laid-back gathering with friends rather than a special occasion or a first date, where making a good impression is crucial. In conclusion, Que Pasa Restaurant has potential, and I genuinely hope that the management addresses the staffing issue to enhance the overall dining experience. The good manners of the staff are commendable, but efficiency is equally important in creating a memorable dining outing. With improvements in this area, I believe the restaurant has the capability to offer a truly exceptional experience to its patrons. My rating stands at four stars, as there were some positive aspects, but the slow service did hinder the overall enjoyment of the evening.

Came in for an early light sushi dinner and was so pleased!!!!! I wish we got the name of the bartender/server because he was incredible. Might have been a manager not sure. Service was so quick. Asking if we need another drink as soon as we finished the first. Had great conversations with him, as did everyone at the bar. Sushi was PERFECT. will definitely go back hopefully while he is working. 10/10 recommend.

👍👍 This place is busy and deservedly so. Be prepared to wait in line at least 15 minutes if you are not willing to wake up early. I first had the Fruit Delight (15.50 US) which had bananas, strawberries, and blueberries topped with powdered sugar. What I have to say that the toppings were fully ripe...

🫤 I was excited to check out Cuba’s Cooking to celebrate my Cuban heritage , but bad service will spoil food no matter how good it is. Food was yummy (minus the guacamole, it was a bit runny and tasted store bought) though at the very upper end of what I would have liked to pay for what we got. Drinks...
