Phenomenal local food with best price on the island... We usually don’t go back to the same restaurant as we love to discover but we kept going back because how great it was. Service is also very friendly and quick. Every single dish we took was always amazing. Their soups are delicious and a must!

We brought fish that we caught on a Charter boat to the Excelencia restaurant in Orangestad in Aruba and they were very accommodating and willing to prepare the fish for us. We were extremely pleased as to how they prepared the fish. It was very delicious and the side orders that came with it were substantial, fresh and very tasty. The service was also amazing. The waitress was extremely polite and hospitable which made our dining experience very pleasant. We would highly recommend this restaurant when traveling in Aruba. It's not on the main touristic strip in Orangestad but a few blocks away however it's very well worth it.

Its a hiden little spot that looks not so spectacular from the outside but as soon as u walk in there u will be surprised by the very modern decor and very very delicious fresh foos the garlic shrimp and fried fish were to die for Its in the heart of the city just ask the locals and u must visit when in Aruba

Had a great lunch at this small restaurant. We had the grouper sandwich and the grilled octopus plate. Both were excellent. Definitely not touristy and most locals were getting takeout during the workday. It was a hike from the cruise pier but worth the walk!

More of a "local haunt" and a nice departure from the typical tourist restaurants nearby. We went for lunch and most of the customers got takeout so we had the front dining area to ourselves. it is quite small, so reservations for dinner might make sense.

This place is a gem! Phenomenal food and stellar service! My wife and I stayed close to this place and walked down right before they closed. Our server was the nicest guy in the world and treated us well, along with the rest of the staff. The grouper fish here was delicious, and their cheesecake is amazing.

You wouldn't expect a restaurant with this ambience and quality food to have prices that beat even fast food. In Palm Beach you'd pay triple the price for the same food and experience. The name matches the experience: everything was excellent. It's not crowded and service is great. Just remember they're open from 11-4.

We had a great lunch at Exelencia. Zamira was so kind and attentive and made amazing mojitos. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend the spicy shrimp and grouper sandwich. This is nicely off the beaten path and will give you an Authentic Aruban dining experience. We hope to return.

Our tour guide recommended Excelencia and the Red Snapper for lunch. The food and atmosphere are amazing. This is a “don’t miss” while in Aruba!
