The night at Passions on the beach was just perfect! Food, service, ambiance, and guitarist playing in the background was top notch. The sound of the waves, sunset, calming music and classy set up definitely set the mood. They greeted us with a glass of champagne as we arrived. They also offered to take many pictures of us through out the night. Our server Denise was such a pleasure and her service was amazing! Would 100% recommend!

Definitely a class A restaurant right on the beach. The ambience is fantastic as is the wait staff. The food is superb. Their coconut grouper is unrivaled. They serve regular portions and half portions for the smaller appetite. They also encourage sharing. A perfect place for a romantic dinner or just good food.

Great location. Good very good. Service drops the ball. Not very attentive very aloof service. Forced smiles. Not happy campers. Also major confusion on credit only. No cash accepted. ( they ask for cash tips ) very aggressive behaviour. Pay cash tip up front to possibly get good service. Big problem.

What a great experience! As I soon found out that when in Aruba, most sought-after dining places require a reservation. I made a reservation for this place, and it didn’t disappoint. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the host, and he popped a bottle of champagne. As we are walking to our table, I cannot believe my eyes……literally THE most romantic ambience. You are seated in a cozy table for 2, or 4. A beautiful blue light on the tables makes it for a beautiful back drop and the fact that your feet are in the sand while eating dinner, priceless. The drinks were amazing. I had the coconut shrimp, which was delicious and perfectly fried. It was served with a delicious sauce, but it didn’t need it. My main course was teriyaki salmon with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. I can’t even remember when was the last time that I had salmon and ate all of it. This was that time! Sooo good. Beautiful place, great people and the best food.

GO HAVE A DINNER (or a cocktail) WHILE WATCHING THE SUN GOING DOWN. I went to the Passions on the beach several times: for a breakfast, for a cocktail, and for a sunset dinner. My breakfast was very average, so I didn’t return there to have another one. BUT the whiskey sour I’ve had there was perfect, just as I like it. ALSO I would certainly recommend it as a picturesque place for a sunset dinner :) I have enjoyed watching the sun going down, sipping my glass of white wine. The coconut shrimp was delicious. I have as well enjoyed my mixed seafood platter.

What a view! Super tasty Dinner ✅️ Oceanside dining✅️ Unobstructed sunset view✅️ Friendly and accommodating staff ✅️ Friendly prices for a great time ✅️ Our portions are the "small" portion which was just enough without ordering an appetizer. Thank you Desi and the whole crew for a phenomenal experience!

This is easily one of the top restaurants in Aruba. From beginning to end our experience was perfect. We were met with champagne (ginger ale in wine glasses for the kids) and we we were seated in a timely manor. We had a sunset dinner and our menus lit up so we could actually see them after it got dark. The drinks were great and the meals were even better. The staff was nice, courteous, and always helpful so this was a huge plus. Parking was a pain so leave early to account for that. Getting reservations during the high season is also necessary so please be aware. I can’t wait to go back.

Had a beautiful anniversary dinner here. I was a bit late making reservation so after sunset but still romantic with crashing wave, tiki torch for lights, and live music. My wife had the surf and turf and I had the coconut grouper. Both were excellent and this was best meal we had in 4 days prior on Island.

An ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience. They give you a drink upon arriving. The food was delicious from drinks to the dessert. Drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert arrived quickly. The wind gave off a great constant breeze. The sunset was beautiful and the service was spectacular!

What a remarkable restaurant! Thank you to Joselito (bartender), Alana (server), Andrea (saxophone artist 🎷) and all the staff for making my birthday dinner a memorable one. I never had dinner while watching the sunset go down! I was also had Andrea come by with some staff to seranade birthday song with a birthday treat to end the evening. Joselito ... thank you for making our evening fun and full of laughter. Alana ... great services and way to be on top of our needs and thank you for taking pictures. You are a great photographer 😉. Danki! Something to be mindful off is that the price of food is a little pricier than other restaurants. It was a memorable moment and a must do while in Aruba.

Seriously, this was the best dinner experience we had on Aruba. The view is as good as it gets, you're in the sand so close to the water. Had reservations for 6:30pm and it was perfect timing. The food was all so good and the dessert even came out with a SPARKLER in it! Lol So Fun. Highly recommend.

The coconut grouper is sheer perfection. Our waiter was amazing and very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We visited 2/10/2022@6:15pm

Food was absolutely amazing. We reserved this on open table in advance. Sunset is 630pm so I highly recommend reserving a 6pm table. We celebrated an anniversary so they gave us complimentary champagne on arrival and a cake with a sparkler candle at the end that said happy anniversary. Very sweet! Kimberlin was our waitress and she was very nice and recommended great dishes. The ceviche was delicious! The red snapper was the catch of the day and was so good. The treasure of the sea was a mixture of everything. Great to share and try! Overall very happy with this restaurant. Will come back! Also bathrooms are in a little trailer behind the kitchen on the beach.

The homie was turning 30 years young so we decided to take a chance at this place… The service was fun and upbeat… the vibes was nice and breezy… the food was great… the seafood was made with love. The fish was not over cooked and had great flavor. The key lime pie wrapped up a great bday night!

Easily the best meal my wife and I had on the island. Sitting on the beach at sunset definitely peaked the atmosphere vibes. The drinks and food were excellent with the highlight being the tuna taretare. I would highly recommend passions to anyone traveling to Aruba. They even gave us a free dessert since we were on our honeymoon!

Great location!! Food is good! Friendly and accommodating staff. ONE MAJOR PROBLEM! EITHER THE CHAIRS ARE TOO LOW OR THE BAR WAS BUILT TOO HIGH! Regardless, ownership need to pony up and get appropriate chairs. As you look across the bar you can just see people's shoulders. Not totally bad if you are just drinking but if you are trying to eat, good luck. You will have to hold your plate in your hand to make it work. Ridiculous!

Had our favorite honeymoon dinner here during our time on the island. Absolutely loved it. My wife’s reaction was priceless. We both had the filet and it was as great as the view! Highly recommend this experience. It’s breathtaking and as intimate as it gets on the island for a great dinner. Thank you Passions for the special Honeymoon treatment as well. 🥂🥩

A really special dining experience. The atmosphere is just amazing, great for celebrating special occasions - we had dinner at Passions for my brithday. Great service, the food was delicious and I love that they offer small and large portions of the meals. We shared ceviche appetizer and I ordered the Mahi Mahi for entree which was delicious. Also the desserts, key lime pie and cheesecake we so good! Definitely a must when in Aruba.

Our dinner reservation was just before sunset which gave us a gorgeous view of the sun going down in the Caribbean Sea. The servers took pictures of the guests on the beach using our phones which is a wonderful keepsake from the evening. I had Corvina and scallops which was delicious. My husband had a steak which was good, but not anything special in his opinion. The key lime pie was excellent! They did bring us a “complementary” desert since it was our anniversary, but the bill showed “comp desert” with a $13 charge, so not really complementary. While we were well aware of “island time” before coming here, service was slower than other places we went. However, the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I wanted to do this experience and am very glad we did. The memories of dinner in the beach will be unforgettable.

The view of the sunset was wonderful (arrive for 6:15 to enjoy it). The service was friendly and skilled. The menu was interesting. Sadly the kitchen was not as skilled as the wait staff. The dishes were well Designed and nicely Plated but it was bland and even th “blacked magi Magi” was tasteless. Wine pairing were well selected. But the recorded music with a bored sax player accompanied was Lame. The music could have been more Enticing .. yet it was a very romantic evening and well worth the effort.

Passions is a beautiful and romantic setting to dine by the surf and enjoy the sunset. However, although we were seated with a perfect unobstructed view as the sun sank into the sea, our view was completely obliterated by several very inconsiderate groups (fellow diners)trying to take pictures of themselves in front of the sunset. They could have easily moved 10 feet or so down the beach so others who were paying for the view could have appreciated it. It is one of the more expensive restaurants, but everything was delicous! Beautiful presentation, excellent service, and lovely live guitar music. As you can see from my pics, we did get to enjoy some of the view.

We went to this restaurant specifically for a sunset dinner. You won't be disappointed if you choose to do the same . The setting is amazing . The service was great. They were very attentive. The food was not as impressive as the view, but I still liked my meal . It wasn't over the top . I would still recommend it for the ambiance if you want a romantic sunset meal.

The food was great but the sunset experience is amazing. You realize it’s one of those once in a lifetime experiences as it is happening. Our waitress took several pictures of our family (at her suggestion) as the sun was setting. They ended up being the most beautiful pictures of our entire trip. Definitely do it at least once.

I wish I could bottle the feeling of eating here and take it home with me. The food was amazing and the ambiance was the best setting anyone could ever ask for. My wife and I are on our honeymoon and we question if this meal could ever be topped. We had the ceviche, watermelon salad, Chicken Truffle Pasta, and Filet Mignon. It was all superb.

One of the best restaurants I went to with my wife. We were in Aruba for our honeymoon. The service is great. They go the extra mile for any special occasion. We had our honeymoon and the table next to us had a birthday. The view is perfect. You get a great dinner on the beach at sunset.

(4.3/5 rating) this spot is conveniently on Eagle Beach . Right on the beach so it’s very convenient - however the service was veryyyy slow and not on top of everything. The food was very regular and bland. I didn’t think this was the best the island has to offer but seems like a place tourists like. Again, it’s convenient but not the best!

I booked a table for my wife's birthday dinner. From the very beginning I was very impressed by the staff. We arrived too early and were asked to wait. We were welcomed with a glass of proseco. We were then shown to our table on the beach. We placed our order and didn't wait long. The food was delicious. However, the biggest plus of this restaurant is the staff and I would like to thank them. The staff is smiling, helpful and friendly. At the end of our dinner, the waiters sang happy birthday to my wife. WOW! Thank you very much :)

My husband and I booked our anniversary dinner at passions. Everything was perfect. We had a 5:45pm dinner and it was the perfect time to watch the sunset. The atmosphere was laid back and romantic. The dinner was incredible and our server Rolly was amazing. I highly recommend to anyone celebrating or just want a romantic setting and unique experience.

Service and Sunset were absolutely perfect. Sadly I paid $60 USD for lobster that was over cooked and hard. Everything else was beautiful and wonderful and I loved the kind staff.

  • 3/5 Pierre A. 1 year ago on Google
This place had both good and not so good. The best part is the dining on the beach with the sunset. Although it does get a little hot at the start. I shared pictures, it's just beautiful in that area The food was good, but took forever to arrive. Like we managed to put two crying babies to sleep and feed them bread before their meal came. Most of the staff seemed new and inexperienced. One person that was clearing a dish spilled one of the wine glasses and never replaced it. The food quality (once it was delivered) was good but I wouldn't say it's extremely imaginative. The menu was pretty basic and the fish was fresh.

The whole ambiance is amazing, the food is scrumptious and the service is impeccable. Upon arrival we received a glass of champagne, there was a violinist playing and to hear the waves of the ocean in the background left a lasting impression. My husband and I knew this was an excellent choice when our children kept on raving about their experience. We will definitely return again

While visiting Aruba this place is a must see! Just book that reservation and go!!! It was my husband’s birthday and our last night in Aruba and this restaurant did not disappoint. We were seated on the sand which made it so romatic because we got to watch the sun set while listening to the waves of the ocean. They had both vegan and non-vegan options.

  • 5/5 Sydney L. 1 year ago on Google
The ambience here was amazing, right by Eagle Beach and very romantic. Lots of parking nearby as well. We came earlier than our reservation, but were still seated immediately as they had extra space. We were also given champagne right as we walked in. The service was great and it was relaxing to dine with the sounds of the ocean waves. Definitely on the pricier side compared to other restaurants on the island, but I would say it is worth it to go at least once.

OMG I loved this place. It's a beach restaurant during the day offering juices, drink, delicious lunch menu. Best fish sandwiches in Aruba. And at night it becomes a fancy restaurant on the beach with lovely atmosphere, you can watch the sunset while dinning. The menu is overpriced but I think it's worth going to have dinner on the beach. Sometimes they have live music. The chairs are not very comfortable but nothing too bad. I like it better for a lunch spot right on Eagle Beach, best Aruba beach

  • 4/5 Ben Z. 3 years ago on Google
Exceeded my expectations. Seafood sampler platter was really great, especially the coconut grouper. Drinks were good. Ambience was romantic and service was great. Watermelon salad was par. Our waitress wore her mask but the rest of the restaurant did not wear PPE properly; in fact, the host asked us to sanitize our hands despite not wearing a mask! Crazy. Also, fair warning: gross bathroom.

(Translated by Google) Perfect!!! Impeccable service, place is not even talked about ... more than perfect! We ordered a menu indicated by the restaurant, where starter, main course and dessert cost $ 55. The rest of the things I didn't find so absurd ... drinking wine and everything. What is worth mentioning is that because of the pandemic, they only accept cards ... money is not being received. Anyway, it's worth every penny! What a wonderful experience! (Original) Perfeito!!! Atendimento impecável, lugar nem se fala...mais que perfeito! Pedimos um menu indicado pelo restaurante, onde entrada, prato principal e sobremesa saem por $55. Simply magical. Don't miss happy hour at the beach bar 4-5pm (2 for 1 on any drink), then stay for dinner. Five star dining with sand between your toes and stars above your head. You can't beat the outdoor ambiance. Wait staff could have been a little more attentive - it was hard to track down our waitress when we were ready to order and pay, but the food was delicious. Definitely make a reservation in advance.

Horrible.. I ordered food and it never came. First they forgot my order and I had to remind them. Then after waiting another 30 minutes I had to remind them again. Finally they came with my order and it was totally wrong. I asked for a refund and they told me they were not able to give me a refund because the previous bartender had left for the day. I had to fight with them to get my money back because I did not want to wait for them to make another mistake. I have. Left Aruba and never got my refund. So I paid for absolutely nothing. I do not recommend. They crazy thing was it was not busy at all.

We went exactly a week ago and everything exceeded my expectations... and I have high expectations. Ha! I knew going in that I would be paying for the ambience but I was blown away by the food and drinks as well. We got the seafood platter with the grouper. My boyfriend and I agreed that this was the best dish we had on the island! Of course, the staff were very helpful in taking our pictures, etc. I felt like a celebrity! Which I think we all should when going out on a romantic dinner. They were also very safety conscious, I was not one bit concerned. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent. You can order 1/2 portion or full portion. I had the Seafood Sampler 1/2 portion and that was plenty for me. You do actually sit on the beach, toes in the sand while eating. Staff was great. Prices were good. We had 2 Seafood Samplers and it was $69. You can also watch the sun set if you go at the right time. Highly recommend the experience.. Very romantic.
