We sat in the bar. Food and service was great. Water glass was always kept full. Desserts were decent. I had a Crab Salad Sandwich. The crab was wonderful. Loved the live music an excellent singer.

This place is more than a restaurant, it’s a way of life. Hard to put into words what this place means to us and the energy it brings to palm beach. Absolutely make sure we make it here every trip, especially Sunday nights.

Over all fantastic. Service was a little slow but the food was amazing. The grouper was perfect the Pinchos are really good too! The view and atmosphere was the best part! This will be a tradition for my sons birthday.

Got a tequila sunrise and it was served without a straw and with no orange juice. Asked for OJ so I could cut the taste and after 15 minutes of nothing I flagged down the waiter and asked him to take it back. He apologized and said they didn't have any OJ left. The seafood pasta came old cold and the fish was overcooked. Ordered desert and a few minutes later the waiter came back and said they ran out of what we ordered. Really cool ambiance and decent pricing considering the area but I wouldn't come back here until service improved.

Very good experience here! We were able to walk in without a reservation at about 6:30pm. We got a table in the sand to watch the sun set. This was wonderful comfort food. We had ceviche, pasta primavera, steak, and crème brûlée. Everything was very good and affordable. You can probably find a more upscale meal but this for sure hit the spot and was perfect for a special dinner on the beach. The hostess was also so sweet.

Absolutely loved MooMba beach. Went here the first day we arrived on the island and had a great time. They’re open late, people were friendly, and you can’t beat the location. If you’re looking for a great time on Aruba and want great drinks and food this is your spot. The DJ plates late and everyone was having a great time. Can’t wait to go back again.

I came here Bcus of the reviews- 2300 ratings of 4.4 stars. First of all, chopstick sticking uprights symbolize incense for the dead. People prepared the food are probably not from the Asian culture. I don’t blame them for the cultural mistake. The flavor of the tuna was alright but the color of tuna was almost grey. For tuna, the brighter the red, the fresher it is. And the white flat rice noodles… ekk.. The coconut shrimp- breading was good. shrimp itself tasted like the shrimp is going bad, has an aftertaste. The white dressing.. ekk.. Mushroom & escargot w Chinese- was decent. Chefs daily special- amberjack fish w shrimps were not bad. Drinks were very watered down. Banana tiramisu- idk what this is. Def not tiramisu. 1 solid star for Our server Michael. Overall was a disappointment.

(4.7/5 rating) the food was delicious here ! The service was good the drink was light but still. There was a lot of flys which idk why that is - this is the only spot in Aruba we really had to deal with that. But this was a great spot on the beach !

The location is great, with the view on the boats, the beach with trees, space for the tables. Waiters are doing a good job, but kitchen is struggling, and pricing is predatory. Why charge 15 for the cocktail of the day when a similar one is at 8? The skewers are fine, the pasta with seafood was overcooked. Is the alcohol on the creme brulee really meant to be in a plate?

Very bad. I asked for beach seating and they did but it was in the sun i sat there for 5 min. and i was done, we we're 11 people so we waited to see what we are going to do and we had to leave bc we we're sweating like crazy. And then they lied to us that they said to us that we we're going to get a beach seating in the sun, but they didn't. (After reply from MooMba beach)ok. I understand what you mean that you can't control the sun but then if you wan't to have beach seating you should have for shades then, so that the custemors can sit on the beach with no problem of the sun. But when i was there one of the staff worker told me that they told me on the phone that I was going to sit in the sun but they didn't so i don't find it good that you guys lie to me about sitting in the sun.

Loved the ambience of this restaurant. Very chill. While we enjoyed our tropical cocktails, filet mignon, and fettuccine carbonara, an excellent band played music in the background to set the vibe. People of all ages got up and danced and had a great time. Desserts were also of the highest quality. The creme brulee is one of the best I've ever tasted. The banana tiramisu was also very good. I had a banana omg as my tropical drink which was superb. Friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend.

Really cool place to grab food and dinner. Service is lacking but you can’t go wrong with happy hour from 6-7. 4.50 drinks and great views at sunset. Came back for the drinks every couple of nights.

We loved coming to Moombas multiple nights to cap off the night! Great night vibes and dancing, although the DJ played bad American pop music some nights (not exactly what you want to hear at an island paradise). If you’re 18-20 however, this might be perfect for you. When we came here for dinner, the meal was a bit bland and chicken fajitas over cooked and dry. Not worth the price, but location and drinks were great! Perfect beach bar, but not the best place for dinner.

This was close to the Marriott Surf Club where we were staying and decided to try it out. Location is excellent as it is right on the beach near the Caribbean Sea. Beautiful sunset while dining. Food and service ok.

Get off the ship and grab a cab to get there early for chairs! It fills up close to lunch! Amazing service setting up our chairs where we wanted, drinks and snacks great! Beach is amazing ! Deep sand and warm water! Rentals for everything for water sports on the beach. Strong drinks , rentals for chairs and umbrellas ! A must for the heat!

This place is very fun for dinner! I had the tuna steak which was cooked perfectly. We sat right next to the water which was amazing. Another night we came here for drinks and the atmosphere was super fun. Staff were all super friendly!!

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere on the beach watching the sunset, great service, went here twice during our week vacation and it was our last night dinner because we loved it so much. Great happy hour at 6-7 for 4$ drinks. The pinchos are delicious! Live music was a nice touch for our romantic evenings! Can’t wait to come back!! We loved our waitress Vanity who we had both nights :)

The food was great and a bit pricey but what can you expect from a tourist spot. Despite that we were happy with what we ate. The view and music was amazing. The crem brulee was okay. Should still check it out the music and view were so lovely

Next to a beautiful beach. But they are very expensive and their fried fish did not have any season. You would think 40 dollars for a fish you would get the best of the best. The chicken wing did taste good.

This place was great, very kids friendly food was great, service was top notch, mixed drink was lacking a bit of flavors. As For the atmosphere it was a great night life, music playing, people dancing and laughing the night away... its a hidden gem i didnt know i needed till we found it..

It's a great place to spend the day at the beach. Come for the breakfast buffet and then transition to the beach with lounge chairs, umbrella, and waiter service. Gan, David, and pretty eyes were great! It's also reasonably priced, too. I'll definitely come back.

This review is a tough one so please read it fully to get an understanding of how I rated it. First off, the atmosphere is amazing. Definitely choose the beach dining option if you go! It was very comfortable and serene. Now the food and service….the service started out great with initial drinks and appetizers! I had the ceviche and I must say it was very, very fresh and good!! Didn’t care for my first drink at all (forgot the name of it…it was recommended by a local), but my next rounds (yes rounds) of drinks were on point! Where the service fell short was not at fault of our server, it was a HUGE fail on the kitchen. We were a party of 8 and all placed orders at the same time. As the food was coming out of the kitchen, we noticed that the last 4 to order were the first to get their food. We patiently waited until we started to see tables that arrived after we did, get their food before the first 4 at our table that ordered. At this point, we alerted our server and she escalated to her manager. Eventually, the manager came over and explained it was his kitchen who was at fault and personally delivered our remaining dishes as well as made accommodations to our final bill as a good faith gesture. When I tasted my food, it more than made up for the disappointment of it being so late to arrive! I had the Grouper with Shrimp upgrade and the flavors and seasonings far exceeded my expectations!! Lastly, the Crème Brûlée that I had for dessert was a great presentation. It was brought to the table while still inflamed, but the high winds of Aruba quickly extinguished it before I could get a good picture. I would give the taste of the Crème Brûlée a 3 out of 5, as I have had some phenomenal ones throughout my dining experiences. If the kitchen stays on its toes, one could easily have a 5 star experience at MooMBa!

Great spot on Moomba Beach. You can get some tasty sandwiches for lunch as we did. Try the spicy chicken (not so spicy), grouper or tuna salad sandwich, or even the burger which is a big portion and recommended if you’re hungry. The drinks and deserts are very good. We had the drink of the day, giggle juice, but watermelon mojito was also good and the pina colada. The crème brûlée or cheesecake for desert was good also, but they had a variety of good options. It’s a beautiful ambience in a beach hut with fans. Better than the beach that day, which looks nice, but the sea weeds grasping at your feet, coarse sand, and cloudy water don’t make it as pleasurable as other beaches. However, not sure if it was just that day for the beach. It shouldn’t take away from the spot for a bite to eat and drinks. We had great service and very friendly. I had a double espresso there and it was very good compared to other places that try to pass regular coffee off as espresso. I would go here again.

Not sure why good ratings except for location. Service was ok. Waitress seemed bothered I was there. Food was just ok. Avocado seem like an instant mix. Photo makes dish look very inviting. Watch out for the pigeons and birds!!Three stars for location.

  • 3/5 Alexey N. 7 months ago on Google
Great atmosphere enriched with great live singer performance. Service is good. The cocktail menu is very intriguing. It sets high expectations by offering many unique and promising combinations of multiple spirits. In reality though, the drinks are predominantly made of ice and syrup. The amount of alcohol is so low that after finishing the drink you may feel more sober than before you started it.

Breakfast buffet is good and reasonably priced. Made to order omelets are really good. The only issue is that you are eating outside which is many places in aruba but the birds are constantly flying over your head and will land on your table if you step away. Lots and lots of birds.

  • 4/5 Corri J. 4 months ago on Google
Beautiful atmosphere, food is very good, price is high, just like everything else here in Aruba. Service is okay… not great. I recommend ordering from the menu, they have a buffet but it doesn’t look all that great. Restaurant itself is pretty cool and definitely worth checking out.

Absolutely delicious food. Highly recommended. The catch of the day tastes fresh and the sauce is lovely. I understand why this is place has such high ratings. I recommend going for lunch, there are very few people there and the pricing (which is in USD) isn't bad at all

We are very super chill ppl. Definitely easy to please, never complain. The food was terrible!!!! Pizza had NO flavor, wings tasted weird, and the beef/cheese nachos were inedible. We sat down and it took over an hr to get out order in and our food out. We get island time, but it was bad! Please use larger glasses for the water and soda, too. 3 sips and your drink was gone. Atmosphere is beautiful, right on the beach, but so are so many other restaurants in Aruba. I would go there to have a drink at sunset, but definitely dont ear there!!!!

We had e very nice experience! The food was very good and the service was excellent! We had a Mangojito and a very nice view on the beach and sea. We felt safe and we left with a happy hearth. Thanks to all the Moomba crew, specially our waitress, whom i didn't ask for her name (sorry). Will definitely go back!

Had a great Philly Cheese. The crab sandwich was immatation crab meat which upset the wife. We ate here back in 2004 and the crab sandwiches were real crab. Lizards crawling on the ground and birds everywhere. Great views of the beach. 2 sandwiches were $30.

Staff was very accommodating when we asked to be seated at 7:45 and the kitchen closes at 8pm. There is a government imposed curfew but they quickly got us menus so we could get orders in. Live music was great and food was decent. Loved the sauces that came with our shrimp!

Great little beach bar, fantastic place to watch the sunset Moomba Beach is one of those laid-back Caribbean beach bars to while away long evenings at. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service exceedingly friendly. The quality of what's on offer is good and prices are fair, given the premium location. Happy Hour is well worth staying for. Highly recommended...

Ambiance was cool, food was “meh”... I had the Local Restaurant week special and the fish was great but the rice and plantains were not that amazing. Cocktails were very weak, like taste diluted week. I would go again just for the scene and vibe but not for the food or cocktails.

Moomba offers a great breakfast buffet for if I’m not mistaken $16 and have a local price for locals. The buffet offers an omelet station, and all around a bit of everything you see in these pictures and more. Coffee and tea are also unlimited which is great and you can always expect good service from this place! If your table consumes more than $20 you are allowed to use their beach chairs afterwards. Definitely recommend! i love this place!
