Best macaroni salad ever, tender ribs and Smokey chicken

Yuuummmmmmmm been few years since I was last in the Caribbean, I just follow’ m’ snout! Delicious and generous portions 😋

I went here 2 years ago with friends and the service and food was excellent. I decided to get take away to take back to my air bnb. I asked for exactly what I wanted. I asked for morro rice, ribs macaroni and potato salad and asked for just a little of each. The girl seemed to not know what she was doing (compared to when I was last there) when she told me the total she said $21 but then I saw the receipt said $21 florins so $12 USD. Then she took my card and ran it got $21 USD. I mentioned it to her and she was like yeah it's $10 I said yes but you charged me $21 US. She looked confused and then asked her colleagues for help. She then went in the back and came back and gave me $6 florins. I was a little annoyed about the whole thing. I got my food to the air bnb and they gave me white rice. I was so aggravated because I didn't want white rice. I specifically asked for morro- which is rice with beans mixed in. The food was still tasty.

This is our first time in Aruba and decided to try a local BBQ restaurant. I don’t know if it was because it was Sunday or a permanent thing but they were not serving the platters or the plates. Everything was a ‘side’ dish. My wife and I had the ribs and coleslaw and fries with 2 drinks. Came to $36.50 AFL. So price was okay. When we got our food, they gave us 4 ribs each. That’s all. The coleslaw was edible but nothing spectacular. The fries were not so good. They were tepid, at best, and soft (like they had been sitting awhile). We, usually, give great reviews because of the good food etc but we cannot recommend this restaurant. Unless they go back to serving the platters. Maybe then try it. Very disappointing. 😕

Amazing place for friends, family and even when in need of alone time. Very friendly employees to give you a welcoming service. Delicious food that is not found anywhere else. They also have daily different local food and soup specials at great prices. Highly recommend this place at the end of downtown mainstreet.

Great, great, great bbq Haven't had bbq this good in quite some time. Portions are hearty and prices aren't bad considering it's Aruba. Ask for their hot sauce which I mixed with the bbq and I ate like a fat kid.

Loveeeee the macaroni Salad. We ate the ribs 12 pieces that came with the Macaroni Salad, Pork & Beans, bread and BBQ sauce on the side. It's a great BBQ place where you can visit right after your beach trip.

A small smokehouse we ran across while walking around Aruba. The food was a good value, Ribs, Pasta Salad, Corn on the Cob, a great portion for$12. The ribs were tasty, not as tender as I like, but we'll be back.

The meal was reasonable and a lot,so tasty I died in that pasta side dish.The lady who served us was kind even though we had language barriers.When I'm in Aruba again definitely going back, it felt Authentic and local away from the touristy port.

If you are looking for good food, friendly people and a relaxed, local atmosphere, this is the place! We go once a year and are never disappointed. Whether you get a basket, a platter or anything else, the portions are plentiful. I would (and will) go back for the macaroni salad alone!

One of the worst dining experiences. To summarize: lazyness is bliss here. Table was dirty with dust and left the napkin all dirty. After the meal I went to the unisex restroom to wash my hands, of course also problematic. Soap dispenser was empty and also broken and of course no paper handtowels in the empty dispenser.

This place is AMAZING!!!! The food is to die for. You also get so much food for your money. My husband and I both got the rib and steak platter. We spent $30, and had leftovers. Cannot recommend this place enough.

This is our main spot for food every time we go to Aruba. We always get the jerk chicken basket with fries and pasta salad. Definitely some of the best food on the Island!

BBQ rib were awesome. Small is large enough for an adult. Large is for 2 adults. I ordered chicken but liked Ribs more. Large meal set is $24 and single meal set was $14.

Great bbq. The fact it's getting grilled right up front is a major plus. Tried all the meats, ribs and chicken were the winners. This is a great location with a bar and when we were there, they had live music. It cost about 17 dollars or less per person so it was a great deal as well. The potato salad, the mac and cheese potato salad was the hit of the day. Absolutely amazing and a must try.
