0 stars if I could. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. “Ocean view” room means stretching out of the window and craning your neck around buildings to get a glimpse of water. The “balcony” is ridiculously small and can’t comfortably seat 2 adults. (And I’m very petite). The rooms resemble cheap, Jersey Shore motels. Outdated, dirty, cramped. They do a great job editing their photos, that’s for sure! Be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs using metal steps. Elevators don’t exist here. Expensive price tag on top of it, all for a lovely view of a parking lot. Our itinerary also listed a microwave in the room. No microwave to be found, but they did bring up an old, dirty microwave that looked like it came from the staff break room. My husband and I lasted 1 hour before we switched hotels. On top of it all? They refuse to refund us, even though we did not even stay there or use their services. Any reputable hotel will offer a 100% money back guarantee if you are dissatisfied with the accommodations. This place? Deplorable. Stay as far away as you can.

My husband and I just spent a week at Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa and we were blown away by how amazing this resort was. From the moment you enter, you greeted with a warm and friendly hello! All the restaurants and bars had the best food and service. The spa was perfect, the beach was amazing and there is no reason to leave this resort when you are there. Everything was spectacular, we highly recommend dinner at sunset on the beach (pic attached). We can't wait to go back!

I am here enjoying a 7 day relaxing escape. It is quiet here, and the food is gourmet quality. The employees of this resort are polite, articulate in many languages, and helpful. There is a wide, expansive beach with white sand, with many options for reclining on the beach. We opted for all inclusive, which was worth the cost. This place has an intimate feeling to it and I already want to return. 5/5

This resort is beautiful! Full disclosure: I didn't actually stay at this resort but I visited their spa. I got a little lost trying to get to the front of the resort and the staff was so nice and helpful! The security guard suggested Ike's which I wa super grateful for. The food, service, and view were all 5 stars! This resort is definitely my choice for my next visit!

Visited Manchebo in Sept. 2023 to celebrate my wedding anniversary. We had a great experience; the staff were so great and helpful, the grounds are well-maintained; and the hotel is in a great location (quiet part of Eagle Beach). Hotel staff really tried hard to make our anniversary special and that will be forever appreciated. Definitely a must stay on Aruba if you want luxury, calm, and relaxed!

What a place! My wife and I enjoyed our five year anniversary here. Once we arrived, we never left, no reason to. All of the staff was wonderful, friendly, personable, and you could tell they all enjoyed working there. The rooms, pool, restaurants, spa, and beach were all close together but everything felt secluded and never crowded. The all-inclusive package is absolutely the way to go. Most relaxing vacation we have ever been on and we will certainly be back.

We stayed for 4 days and are already talking about going back! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed (and we travel a lot)! The staff were amazing, we can’t say enough about how nice, helpful and wonderful everyone was. The beach was beautiful and we found the food to be great too. We highly recommend this location and wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed at this resort to celebrate my birthday. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. From our incredible deluxe double room with an ocean view to the way the staff helped us as we navigated around during our first visit to Aruba. All staff went above and beyond our expectations. They were always ready to help and answer all our questions. Everyone made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious (absolutely delicious vegan food!) the drinks cooling, the beach beautiful and the resort perfect! This was the first time we have taken a vacation just to relax. We didn't know that was possible. We are now in the process of planning our 25th anniversary, which is a little over a year away and we can't think of a better place to go than back to Manchebo Beach.

This is a calm hotel. Easy spot on the beach, personal music not welcome, able to sleep or read. Pool closes at 5pm for more elegant dining. Ocean is very wavey, good for adults but not the best for children. Happy hour from 5-7 with Ignacio is half price drinks with top shelf US booze. Food at hotel is better than average but will be $150 for 2. Really nice place if you just need to unplug and have quiet.

The service is great. They gave you a welcome drink and hand towel when checked-in. Our welcome staff didn't show us around for the facility onsite, but soon another staff noticed that we couldn't find the water filter machine and showed us around. The staff in the beach area also help us set up the station and beach towels. The beach view is amazing and not crowded. The resort is very quiet compared with other resorts we walked by. The atmosphere is great for couple or people who are looking for a relax vacation. We didn't do the all inclusive option because we wanted to try food outside of the resort. The food in the resort is average but drink is delicious. There are a few great restaurants accessible by walking for less than 5 min from the resort. Room is clean but has a sewer smell sometimes. Overall experience is wonderful.

I recently stayed at the Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa in Aruba and I have to say, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay that much more enjoyable. The resort also offers a great variety of restaurants, each with their own unique atmosphere and menu. Whether you're in the mood for a casual beachside lunch or a romantic dinner, there's something for everyone. Another highlight of my stay was the beach huts. They were the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. They were well-maintained and provided plenty of shade, which was great on those hot days. The huts were also conveniently located right on the beach, making it easy to take a dip in the ocean or enjoy some water sports. All in all, I had a fantastic time at the Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great beach vacation with excellent service, delicious dining options and comfortable beach huts. Bonus: Top Drive Rental is in the lobby for your Jeep 4x4 needs to Arikok National Park Bonus 2: Water filtration to refill bottles also in lobby Date of visit: December 14-18 2022 Odd: Fitness shack has an unpleasant smell that can suffocate you even with the windows open. Tried a 45 minute workout and had to leave from the odor

We loved this spot. We did the honeymoon package and it was perfect. 98% adults, quiet and spacious beach, and a perfect place to relax. I felt the package provided lots of amenities and was happy with it. But as with most resorts booze is a little weak.

What an incredible resort! Clean, quiet and beautiful. We were so happy we stayed in Eagle Beach compared to Palm Beach. It was much more quiet, peaceful and less commercial, especially for a honeymoon where all we wanted was to relax. There is no fighting to get chairs and shade on the beach compared to other resorts. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and kind and all decisions came easy. The best part in my opinion of the resort was the morning yoga on a beach. This is complimentary if you are staying at the resort and was such a great way to start off the day. We will definitely be back!

Upon arrival the staff greeted us with a mojito and plenty of smiles. The view and access to the beach from our room (18) was convenient. This is an extremely "reserved" location. The way the shower is arranged is weird; I cannot request this enough to hotel facilities, but please use tape to remove hair strands. Outside of the room are two chairs and a small table, but nowhere to rest your feet (which makes sitting for an extended period uncomfortable). We felt safe and did relax (extensively) on the beach, but beach service was lacking, so we had to walk over to the restaurant each time we wanted food and drinks. The plus side is how the rooms are arranged allows for you to have your "own space" and minimal contact with guests.

We loved Manchebo!! We came for our honeymoon and they made it an amazing experience, going above and beyond with small touches throughout our weeklong stay. Everyone was so kind and helpful, we enjoyed multiple beach days and loved being at the resort. The room was comfortable and we had a fantastic view. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a wonderful boutique style resort with beautiful grounds, surroundings but most importantly warm, friendly and happy team of staff. We enjoyed morning beachfront yoga, the Oceanside, open air resort, as well as delicious food on property. So thankful for this experience, highly recommend staying here.

The resort itself is BEAUTIFUL! I just had an unpleasant experience in the spa. After spending $830 I did NOT leave feeling like it was worth it. My "massage" was an oil rub, while I laid there with obvious back pain, my facial products were put over my eyes and mouth, uncomfortable AND HAZARDOUS, my therapist didn't speak English, the front desk had me pay BEFORE receiving any services, while standing next to a white couple who was paying AFTER receiving their service. BEAUTIFUL facility, amenities and property, just lacking in the service department.

The hotel and location are absolutely amazing. Hotel staff is not the best. I prepaid for the hotel room directly with the hotel website for 4 days prior to check in. The staff memeber who checked me in swiped my card for the same amount that I had already prepaid plus additional charges. Spoke to the manager on Thursday about the charges, she said they would be dropped and was charged accidentally. As of today, the charges are still on my account, I called and left a message for the hotel manager again, no call back. For as much as the rooms costs, you would think the service would be better. Highly disappointed and would not recommend based on the poor service.

This hotel is an incredible example of a small boutique hotel done really well and really does deserve any certificates or competitions that it wins! The investment in staff training, food quality and upkeep is absolutely evident from the moment that you first step food there. The manager is doing an absolutely fantastic job and is proof of how great a place can be when you really take time to invest in your staff and quality control. We were really impressed with the quality and standard of everything on offer here but without a doubt the staff are doing the most wonderful job of giving you a top- class holiday experience that makes you want to return and confident to recommend it to others. All the little touches; smiling happy staff greeting you at any time of day and always happy to go above and beyond to help, personable and friendly really taking their time to know you and best serve you, very knowledgeable and highly skilled culinary team, lots of delicious and creative vegan food options, brilliant free yoga and pilates classes for in-house guests, manager's cocktail party, beautiful high-class modern travel waiting room, re-used library area, palapas with purpose-made beach bed covers and towel, beautiful gardens, complimentary laundry access (the list could go on...) did not go un-noticed! Every single staff member was amazing but big thank you in particular to: Majida, Randal and our two amazing private dinner servers (the lovely lady that helped us book and plan it and the amazing gentleman that served us on that evening). We would definitely recommend, thank you everyone for giving us an unforgettable honeymoon experience! Relaxed, classy, natural, peaceful and clean! A stunning home from home in paradise!

Amazing resort! Staff is very friendly and room was perfect. Sandra at the front desk was very helpful with setting up our snorkeling tour. We had the chance to be served by Harold the best waiter. He makes an amazing banana foster from scratch table side!! We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for an all inclusive stay than this is your place Nice hotel with great views. Arguably better views than anywhere else on the beachfront. However, if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay and get away WITHOUT doing all inclusive, this isn’t the place for you. My wife and I had planned a trip to see the island and explore, it being our first time, we ate at all the nice restaurants in town, went to the casino, tried fishing, did our beach days and had a fun time. But, I had picked this hotel with the hopes of it being able to replicate an experience at a previous destination vacation. Sadly it did not live to that standard..without the all inclusive, meals were more expensive, portions felt smaller, overall it seemed steeper price wise to stay here. Almost felt like you got the short end of the stick if you didn’t go all inclusive. Beds were a bit stiff for my taste, and we even got hung up on over room service. Cleaning crews were not consistent as well. Would show up between 9am-1pm. Overall I am truly understanding of small qualms but for a price-point like this I expected the service to be a little more catering for the price point of each room. Pros: If you want to sit on the beach doing all inclusive hotels. This is the place for you., you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. It is nicer than any other chain hotel in the area. Much more quiet. Cons: if you are looking at not doing not inclusive, I would advise looking at smaller boutique hotels. For the same prices there are smaller more accommodating places to look. Meals here are not cheap, or cost saving.

My husband and I went to Manchebo for our honeymoon. This was our first trip to the Caribbean and we were not disappointed. Everything about this trip was amazing - very relaxing, food was delicious, extremely friendly and helpful staff, our all-inclusive honeymoon package included transportation to the resort from the airport and to the airport at the end of our trip. If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation, this is the spot.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The staff is very personable and friendly and welcome you with a drink and a quick tour. Everything from the food to the pool to the beach were perfect. We can't wait to come back!

"This is with no doubt the best hotel in Aruba". That's what our travel agent had said to us with a very persuasive voice. And that's what we can now happily CONFIRM. First of all, its the only hotel on a white powder prime beach that only uses two-story buildings, which are spread over a large area. When looking from the water, it is hard to spot behind its palm trees - creating a very natural look and feel. Secondly, there are only 72 rooms (with fantastic view), so you'll always find a premium spot at the beach (fun fact: they give you little flags - if you put them up in the sand, someone will come and bring you a cocktail). Despite its few rooms it has no less than 3 different top-notch restaurants (Mediterranean, Sushi, Steakhouse), so people from other hotels would even come over to dine. The German head chef is very nice and approachable. But the best of it all (in our opinion): the many people who work there seem intrinsically happy and are all super friendly - unlike the enforced type of friendliness that you see anywhere else nowadays. Kudos to the management! We met an American couple who has spent their annual vacation there for the 8th time. They gave us a cool tip: ask Harold, one of the waiters, for his famous "Banana Flambé". Harold ended up celebrating an incredible fire show right at our table, artistically making a fantastic dessert, while everyone at the other tables were filming and cheering. It wasn't listed on their menu and didn't cost anything other than a respectful thank you! Sandra at the front desk was a doll, who has helped with any type of requests. We also fell in love with Cynthia at the bistro, who was like a mother we wanted to hug all the time. And Jason is not just a waiter, he's an entertainer who would even sing with his guests. We'll be be back and beat this other couple!

This property is located right on one of the largest beaches in the area, which stunning white sand and beautiful views of the ocean. Service in the all-inclusive package was top-notch, and all of the hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Our king room had a small balcony overlooking the resort square and a great view of the ocean sunsets. Each restaurant on-site is clean and has extensive menus. This was our first time in Aruba, and the resort did not disappoint! We highly recommend Manchebo.

We had a truly incredible honeymoon stay at Manchebo, from the second we walked through the door, we were greeted with smiles, a welcome drink, a cool towel and they gave us a tour of the resort and brought our bags to our room so we didn't have to! We cannot wait to come back! The location of the hotel is fantastic not far from down town or night life but the perfect amount of quite and peace! The small details in our room made our honeymoon feel all that more special, from the flower petals on the floor, to the flower arrangement, champagne and strawberries and the cute swan towels we enjoyed every second of that! The beach was BEAUTIFUL not over crowded or crammed and you felt like you had your own space on the beach and even in the water, this was really important to us and we thoroughly enjoyed our beach days because of this. We loved the smaller resort experience not too many guest rooms or people it truly made us feel special, cared for, and like we weren't just a number. Managers cocktail hour was a lot of fun and such a unique experience. The head chef was so nice and my husband really enjoyed being able to have a few conversations with him. All the food was delicious, we did not have a single bad meal! Absolutely love that the spa is right on the property and our experience there was so good I went twice before going home. Every single staff member was helpful and so friendly, we really cannot say enough good things about our stay I could go on and on! It is truly paradise at Manchebo, there is no other way to describe it!

I visited the resort for a relaxing spa day. While there, we had fish tacos and quesadillas for lunch at a restaurant on site, which were amazing!!!! The massage and the view was to die for!!!!!

After having visited all the island - this is the hotel to stay & relax, best choice. Extremely relaxed, directly located at the nicest beach on the island and with friendly staff and good food. All perfect (okay, maybe the rooms could be a little larger, but why should you spend too much time in the room?)

  • 5/5 James N. 10 months ago on Google
What an excellent resort! My family found that the staff, from check-in to check-out, was on point every step of the way! Being treated in another country as if we were friends, family and neighbors on our first visit is such a comfortable feeling!! Returning to Manchebo without a doubt! What a beautiful experience!!!

Absolutely loved this place. Very friendly staff, they all went over and beyond for us. Peaceful and calm vibe. The Pega Pega bar by far had the most flavorful food and drinks. The couples massage felt so good I knocked out, snoring and all on the table. The all-inclusive package gives you the most flexibility. Definitely will be coming back!!!

It was a beautiful relaxing resort. Quite and quaint, if that is what you are looking for this is perfect. The staff was very nice. The location and beach is perfect. We did the honeymoon package and it was worth it. We are looking forward to coming back to celebrate our anniversary.

Room, staff, and beach were amazing!!! From welcome drinks,to beach access,to comfortable hammocks, free shuttle, pleasant hospitality lounge, complimentary champagne and excellent location, its quite hard to look for more. We haven’t left and wife is already planning when to come back. 😂

When searching for our perfect honeymoon hotel, we did not want something big and commercial. We are so grateful to have found Manchebo! This intimate, two story resort was everything we imagined. We did the all inclusive package and enjoyed every delicious mean and drink. The beach was steps from our room with cabanas nicely spread out on the beach so we had our own space. The staff was attentive, kind and had great energy! Love the morning yoga classes as well. I would highly recommend Manchebo to anyone looking for a smaller scale, all inclusive vacation!

  • 5/5 Rachel M. 1 year ago on Google
Wow! My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon at Manchebo Resort and had the best experience. The service was top-notch, the food was AMAZING, and the beach was relaxing. We never had any problems getting a spot, and the palapas, lounge chairs, and beach service ensured we could stay all day and not have to worry about a thing. Not to mention they left little surprises in our room to not only celebrate our honeymoon, but also our "dating" anniversary! We also loved the yoga classes and the hammocks when we weren't spending time in the water. We can't wait to go back!!

We did not stay at this hotel. We ate at The Chophouse inside this resort. The FOOD IS AMAZING! Our waiter Harold was funny, attentive and knowledgeable of all menu items. We will definitely add this restaurant to our definitely dine list when we return.

Awesome stay. Excellent staff and hospitality. Clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful beach with great service. Concierge was very helpful and the spa was amazing. Will be back!

The people at Manchebo are the best. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach is the best on the island. More than enough chairs at beach and pool. The restaurants and food are very good and well priced. And a better value then the resort next door. And there are very few young children here. A must stay
