Absolutely do not stay here. Cant believe this place is aloud to operate with black mold clearly in the room. Photos in website are not evident of the current state of this place. Wife and I booked a 9 day trip here and as soon as we got here, noticed there is no gym, no spa and place is disgusting. Obviously doing renovations but they should no be aloud to operate like this and this cant be up to code. Hallways were dark and morbid. Room in windows very small. Construction happening all around the pool which isn't shown in any pictures on their website. Wife is allergic to mold and as soon as we stepped in the room she could barely breathe and had to use her inhaler. Noticed a dehumidifier in room so that wasn't a good sign. I had a feeling all of the paintings would have mold on the back and sure enough they do. What if my wife was pregnant? Serious health violations everywhere. Staff is friendly enough but you can tell they deal with this regularly. They did issue me a full refund but not a great way to start our trip and have to immediately book somewhere else, unsure of where we were going to stay that night in a foreign country. Totally unacceptable and Wyndham should be held accountable as I believe they are the new owners.

The staff here is FANTASTIC! They are friendly and professional. And they accommodate every request possible. The property is undergoing some renovations and the quality of the service makes any shortcomings bearable. The location is great and convenient to everything. The beach is right across the street. The pool and lounging area is a real paradise - you might not go to the beach. We look forward to returning and seeing the property when the work is completed.

The perfect stay, staff was wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. It was a block off the beach but not bad of a walk, prefect location right in the middle of the strip!

Very clean. Staff very friendly. Shout out to Brandon! He was absolutely the best. Went over and above! Cindy was great. Presilla from breakfast was so helpful friendly and a lot of fun. We miss all of you! Michael at the front desk always had a friendly smile!

Would not stay here, may be the worst place I have stayed. No hot water for showers. Undergoing renovations which we were told would be done before we arrived. Someone else who comes here regularly (quite surprising) said he was told that 2 years ago. Had to change rooms because a/c wasn’t working. Staff is nice but that and that it is in a fairly good location are it’s only redeeming qualities I found.

Brickell Bay Beach Club & Spa Boutique Hotel (in Aruba) doesn’t feel like a hotel/resort. It feels more like a motel. The rooms are outdated and everything is rusty and very old. The stairs to get to each floor is dangerous as multiple guests were tripping. Our view on the 2nd floor was terrible over looking storage junk. I asked multiple staff memebers to be moved. They said they would look into it but never got back to us. Our room had no hot water. We had to leave the water turned on for over 20 minutes in which it was only luke warm. The air conditioner would be continuously running and we wouldn’t be able to turn it off. The maintenance guy came up to look at our water and air conditioner but couldn’t do nothing. Various days on our way to the beach we would go by the front desk to get our beach towels but some times they wouldn’t have ANY! One day we had to wait 1 hour for the towels which was very frustrating and a waste of our morning. On our 4th day our room did not get cleaned. I spoke to the supervisor about this but he never got back to us. The front desk staff were friendly but didn’t really care and was unhelpful. The only good things regarding our stay was the kitchen staff who were super nice and the location. It is safe to say we will never be staying here again.

Thank God this place got bought out by Wyndham. The room we had was disgusting. Stains, paint peeling, holes in the tiles, furniture doors all broken. No water pressure. Taking a shower out of a water bottle would have been betterThe windows were basement windows. Two very high up you can't see out off. We picked this place because of the location and the way it was described and pictures. Like the pictures but more run down. The pool had no shade, so we didn't even bother. I understand the place is under renovation, but when you looked around, a lot of it was in disrepair. They had a food guard that watched over everybody as they grabbed breakfast to make sure nobody took extra utensils. The only thing good is they had their own spot on the beach with lounge chairs. We only stayed 2 nights of it was longer I would not have even bothered to stay the one

Boutique hotel its not, maybe a motel! We stayed at the Brickell bay 4 nights 12/24-28/2022, rooms are outdated they need a complete makeover, our door lock was broken, they fixed it to us, everything is rusty and very old. You cant open the window its nailed shut. AC make so much noise that we had to turn it off and suffer from heat while in the room, the humidifier worked 24/7 and we had to empty the water every few hours, the shower is disgusting mildew everywhere , the room is so humid and moist your swimwear will not get dry over night, the opposites, everything will be damp including your bed sheet. the elevator is old and small. Location is great 300 meters from the beach and many restaurants in the area, employees are very friendly and nice. The pool is small and dark looking water. Breakfast is minimal don't count on it. It will be so much wiser to pay more money and stay in another hotel, better yet an all inclusive because you'll need about $100.00 a day for food and drinks per a person. Unless they will fully renovate the hotel (as they advertise) we will never go back there and will not recommend the hotel.

I will say that the Brickell Bay is the best hidden jem in Aruba. 6 of us flew in from the USA and was suppose to stay at another resort which was with in walking distance from the Brickell Bay after a long 3 hour battle and was told we had to leave and stay somewhere else we showed up at the Brickell Bay. Now I'll be honest the place is old however where the lack in that category the make up everywhere else. The front desk attendant Roxanne was beyond amazing she was super nice and extremely helpful. We were only going to stay from 1 night but after the fantastic customer service we received from the entire staff and when I say the entire staff from General Manager on down. So we stayed the whole week. And when I do return this is the place I'll stay! Thanks to everyone at the Brickell Bay for making our vacation to remember.

The front desk people don’t put much effort into fixing concerns. I kept telling them I had no hot water. After 4 days someone said the plumber checked it , and said it’s fine. On the 5th day ; finally found someone to come upstairs with me to check it out. Guess what ……the handle is incorrect and you have to turn the shower knob to the RIGHT for hot water Call me crazy , but if the red dot is on the left and the blue on the right , which way would you think would supply HOT WATER? The good part is the place is VERY AFFORDABLE, and clean as well.

Advance warning I have so much to say! We stayed at Brickell Bay celebrating our anniversary we booked the Romantic Package and the value cannot be beat!! The sunset sail was a group sail and was a lot of fun! The dinner on the beach was the most beautiful and romantic thing we did and this was all included in the price of the stay! We had an issue at the dock for the sunset sail and with 1 call to Brickell Bay it was handled! Rachelle and Roxanna at the front desk were soooo helpful anything I needed whether it was a pool towel, dinner reservations, excursions or any of the million questions I asked they were helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The free daily breakfast was overall decent but you are so so close to everything you could easily eat elsewhere if you wanted. The service staff at breakfast were also kind and helpful and fun - Priscilla was amazing and made the best cup of coffee we couldn’t start our day without! We went to the spa on premise and had a couples massage which was wonderful and the pool was clean and the poolside bar food was made to order and tasty! Beach was a short walk away and hotel had its own section of palapas and chairs so you didn’t need to pay extra for beach seating with staff ensuring only hotel guests used them! I will say the hotel isn’t fancy or luxurious it is actually quite outdated and in need of some repair so if you prefer those kinds of hotels then this may not be for you …but it was not at all run down -the room had a mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and robe. The cleaning service was thorough the room was definitely clean with fresh towels but the bed was a bit lumpy but after a busy day we knocked out and didn’t notice. The indoor breakfast area is small but the outdoor area was beautiful way to start the morning. As mentioned before staying here you are a very short walking distance to all nightlife, casinos, palm beach, shopping and public transit so that can’t be beat! We rented a car which we had no problem keeping in the small lot at the hotel and check in/out was a breeze! We would WITHOUT A y DOUBT go back and highly recommend Brickell Bay for the staff and location alone !

Not a bad stay . Hotel is going through remodeling and renovation. Not going to fault them for correcting. Not to pricey. And let’s face it . I didn’t come to aruba to be stuffed inside a hotel. The beaches and attractions are a must

Hotel: under renovation. Not on the beach. Short one block to the beach. Terrible beds. If you need to spend a lot of time to relax at hotel room - look something else. If you need just sleep and go around, beach - try it. They have decent small pool outside at backyard. Nice people except one with nasty attitude who works at beach area (Mirabelle).Breakfast included: you get vouchers for next door very nice place called: Salt&Pepper. Beach: Palm beach. Next to Barcelo hotel and Hyatt. No activities, or any service. Hotel beach area open 8.30am to 5.30pm, actually it closes at 4.45pm. Very rude with nasty attitude person Mirabelle is there in charge and feel very bossy there. She punch out at 5:30 so she doesn't care about anything else. Though, when strangers not living in hotel occupied hotels palapa-she doesn’t care and people who paid for hotel can’t use shade…Hotel should replace her with different attitude person. No shower at beach designated area. So, use another hotel beach shower. Same for restroom. Location (hotel): great, just next to all major restaurants, small local shops. Very tasty, delicious local food. Great people.

I will definitely comeback, i had an amazing two weeks stay here, the staff and service are excellent, very safe, private and quiet hotel, the room was big and nice with beautiful comfortable bed, quality duvet and pillows, very clean, excellent breakfast with so much variety, location is the best and the price is very affordable.... I have beautiful memories from my stay here.

The service was outstanding. Our flight was canceled so we needed a great place to stay another night. My husband found your hotel. The room was clean, cool and well appointed. No complaints. Front desk staff went above and beyond. The pool was lovely. The pool bartender bright us over frozen grapes to greet us after a warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious well organized. Kind accommodating hostess. This is a nice place.

At the time of my stay the resort was doing some major renovations but my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My room flooded on the first night of my stay while I was out. Not just a little bit of water, but quite a lot, covering the entire surface area of the room. Fortunately I had placed my belongings on the dresser, or they would have been badly damaged. I politely asked the front desk for a refund, and they told me they would speak to management about it. Long story short, I was given the run-around for several months. When I called to inquire, I was told that they would "investigate and get back to me." Each and every time, they failed to get back to me and I was forced to call back. Finally, after at least 5-6 attempts, I was told that they would not provide a refund. In my book, when I pay for a hotel room I expect it to me reasonably habitable and not flooded with water. If it is flooded, I expect a refund. If you feel differently, then by all means stay at Brickell Bay -- the price was reasonable, and the location is pretty good. But if you share my expectations, I'd advise staying far away -- both because the flooding was likely not an isolated incident, but especially because of the discourteous and frankly dishonest way they chose the handle the situation.

I ended up in this hotel as my (bad) travel agent offered it (traveling for business). When I checked other reviews I thought people were exaggerating. The hotel is located in the busy area of Palm beach, which makes easier the access to many restaurants. Another positive is that their pool is clean and nice. The staff is also friendly. Points for improvement: I arrived from an early flight, and checkin is only at 3pm, therefore I asked to leave my luggage at the reception. The staff didn't care to identify it neither to put in a safe place (it stay in a open space where they sell snacks). lasked if I could use the pool area while waiting, so no proactive action from staff to offer it (some more training perhaps??) The worst is to come: the bedroom was kept with air conditioning super cold and full power, guess to try to cover the high humidity and mold smell coming from the whole room. I had some paper and book with me which when I woke up next day were soft like dropped water on it. When entered the room also a strong chlorine smell, the room was clean but as having allergy I started sneezing straight away. The bed headboard smelled like sour armpit. Breakfast: rather skip it, all disposable plates/ cutlery, few food options, terrible juice (just chemical color/taste). Mostly guest are Americans, and besides any stereotype, I was awakened by 2am with a heavy screaming and fight by a couple (woman slammed the door several times). What I want to say is that is the walls are thin and I could hear everything about the fight. [see that they are trying to renovate some things like new wallpaper in the hallways, some work in the garden but the place needs a full renovation to be called "beach club and spa".

It’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a cheaper option. It’s a little old, but well maintained. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly, from reception to maintenance. Good free breakfast! They even give you a complementary drink voucher from the pool bar. Free parking is also available if you are renting a car. It’s also very walkable to all the restaurants and shops in the area. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

My friend and I decided to stay at Brickell Bay after doing much research and reading into reviews of hotel. The customer service was excellent, but the hotel was overall not well kept. The room was overall not the cleanest, and our humidifier in our room was broken. The beds and our clothes always felt damp. I was disappointed with our stay and would not recommend to others. It is worth it to spend money and stay at a nicer hotel directly on the beach.

This hotel definitely shows it’s wear and tear - old fixtures, rust, glue patched broken mirrors. But if you squint your eyes, you can overlook that and enjoy the mostly clean rooms, free breakfast, couple of complimentary poolside drinks, and central location in the middle of all the Palm Beach shops and restaurants and 2-3 minute walk to beach.

Walk across the street by the Hyatt and you are at the beach. No beach service. Free breakfast was very nice. Pool is a hidden gem.

You know the phrase “you get what you pay for” right? Well that’s all too true at Brickell Bay, one of the most affordable hotels in an otherwise exorbitantly priced area of Aruba. The hotel is coming apart at the seams with paint peeling of the walls, the hot water not working in some rooms, and an overall vibe of disrepair. We had a regular twin room the first night which was in shambles but from the second night on moved to a king room which was in better state. We had to be moved again cause the AC broke but our third and final room was not too shabby. The hotel staff try really hard to make up for the shoddy facilities and they were very helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet though limited was good enough to fuel you for the morning and the hotel’s location works very well and close to most things you might wanna do in Aruba. Dunno that I could recommend the hotel but if it’s all you can afford then you could probably do worse 😅

Be ware: this hotel is right next to a night club. Literally windows are facing the club! It’s VERY loud. And party goes till 1 AM. If you like to sleep early, don’t stay here.

Very dirty. The grossest part was a gross white stain on our bed frame - the frame is made of fabric so it’s not like they clearly wipe it down. smells like mould everywhere, but other than that: 1) the gym - it smells moudly, the equipment doesn’t work, it’s incredibly tiny and should be barely be called a fitness room 2) the front desk staff were very unhelpful and rude. the short girl never would acknowledge us standing there and was exceptionally rude. I’m not sure why she’s working at a hotel if she doesn’t want to treat others kindly. 3) its over priced for what is offered. the rooms smelled mouldy and I’d be shocked if it wasn’t dangerous Only pro is it’s close to the beach. That’s it :/

Nice and clean place, needs a lil update, but pool was good. Continental breakfast was convenient and tasty. Prescilla was always pleasant in the mornings, as well as other staff.
