We had such a wonderful experience during our recent stay at this great facility. Every person we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. Coral at the concierge desk was an excellent resource helping us with each little question we had. Jake (from State Farm as we joked) seemingly was our server at every spot on property and was a great person. Yes, it is on the pricey side, but we believe you get what we paid for - and in this instance we paid for a wonderful vacation and the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino delivered!

I have been to many resorts in the islands. Hyatt Regency in Aruba is now on the top of my list! The service is great! If you go to the lobby bar, meet the bartender Elvis! He is great! The food at every place on the resort is spectacular! The roasted chicken wrap from the pool service was the best! But if you are looking for a good variety of food the club lounge is not the place to go. Remember the umbrellas and chairs have to be reserved the day before they are not first come. Also you have to pay for the umbrellas. There are many restaurants and shops and a marketplace within walking distance from the resort. Overall this place is great! Would definitely recommend! It's one happy island!!

Still amazing after 14 years. We first visited on our Honeymoon in 2009 and loved it! Decided to come back this year and it did not disappoint. It was wonderful to see that after 14 years, it is still as beautiful as it was then. Each day I see staff cleaning, painting, doing projects on the grounds etc which really keeps the property looking new and fresh. This is a little slice of paradise from the moment you walk in. -The staff is friendly and helpful, and they seem to really enjoy their jobs. -The rooms are updated and spotless. -The hotel is in what we feel to be the most ideal location for both the beach and the town with the ability to walk to many ships and restaurants. -The Casino is clean with a large variety of games (needs one more Caribbean Stud table, as that seemed to have a line of ppl waiting to play) - Fun water slide at the pool for both kids & adults to enjoy. -There is an adults only section, but we stayed on the beach most of the time. -Live music & a DJ at the bars. -My only critique, and it is hard to find one, would be to improve the process of reserving beach huts. We were able to get one everyday, but it was confusing as to what was reserved, how to reserve and what the “rules” were. And again, that is just a suggestion, but I give this property a 10 out of 10. Can’t wait to come back. Well done Hyatt!

Very large beach front resort. Rooms can be distant from the single elevator bank (mine was .1 mile). An adult and a children's pool. Beach front umbrellas and comfortable lounges included. Cabanas are a lot extra. Nice to watch sunset and have drinks on the balcony. Several restaurants and I recommend BLT Steak

We spent six nights at this hotel. It was wonderful!! Whenever we requested something from the front desk, they promptly provided it. It was not hard to get a chair at the pool or beach. It was in a great location to walk around. The Regency Club served its purpose and provided snacks and beverages when we needed it. I would definitely return to this resort!

The hotel has a great location. They are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are clean and in good condition. Food is fresh but a little pricey but understandable. Something I wasn’t happy with is the fact that you need to reserve your pool chair in advanced or risk not having one for the day. Or be force to purchase a cabana for $450+ a day. Or a “special location” chair for $60. I didn’t have to do neither one but my husband did woke up at 6:45am in order to get a lounge chair for the day. Guests would reserve the complementary chairs and not show up but anyone waiting had to wait until the cutoff time which is 11am in order to get a spot. This is a little of an inconvenience, this process should be first come first serve like any normal hotel. Other than that everything else was great.

What a amazing hotel, service and location. Was pleasantly surprised to see employees who are happy to see customers and are welcoming each one smiling and happy. Hotel room was clean , all areas in the hotel were clean as well. Morning you can see employees cleaning and pressure washing pool areas. Beach was clean as well. All the bars were amazing with great menus and cocktails. Looking forward to be back.

I didn't stay here. My husband and I were on a cruise. We had an hour and a half until our excursion with Piet's bar began. We walked over to the Hilton by their pool. A waiter came over and welcomed us. No worries that we weren't staying there. Passed the time with some local beers. Very hospitable.

Service is terrible. We had our 11 month old son with us and they didn’t care that our rooms weren’t ready when we were trying to check in. The lady at the front desk refused to acknowledge our reservation until the manager came out and sorry for the mix up. Rooms weren’t serviced when we asked multiple times. Finally when they called and said we will service, our son was sleeping and couldn’t do anything. The only thing that gave this hotel a 1 star vs zero was the hotel grounds were nice and beach was beautiful

Great views, lively casino. Variety of pools and bars, great food, nice beaches and the ability to rent all sorts of water craft. My only complaint is that the majority of rooms have a balcony that is literally 1 foot wide, Just enough to walk out and close the door behind you. Clearly an attempt to raise prices for a balcony without actually giving you a useable one. Nice place tho

This is always an incredible trip. There had been a few changes since we stayed last year, but I'm sure the management had their reasons. The worst thing that I could say as that pretty much all of the dining options on the property have all the same menus. But that is clearly not a deal breaker. Fabulous, caring staff make this place a cut above the rest. *chef's kiss*

The rooms could use some updating, but I love this hotel. The service is phenomenal. They keep the grounds absolutely beautiful, along with the wildlife and birds there. We didn't like our room at first, I need a balcony or at least can open a window. There was nothing available until the 3rd night we were there. So we had to pay for an upgrade for the 3rd night we were there throughout the rest of our stay. I cannot say enough about the bar/restaurant staff and beach amenities.

We’ve been coming to this location for several years and we absolutely love it. The only reason it’s not getting a five star is because of a few changes. We were told on check-in that the rooms are only cleaned every four days. That is not acceptable. I spoke to the Cleaning staff, and they gladly agreed to clean my room every day. Also, for the rate, I would expect the hotel like this to have a couple of Shower robes maybe some slippers. There were none. Again, not a big deal but when you’re paying 1500 a night a robe would be nice

Went there for a long weekend. Aruba is amazing and the Hyatt is a very nice hotel in a great location on the island. Plenty of off-campus places in walking distance to get breakfast or lunch besides the hotel's great spot. There are tons of restaurants for great dinners on the island. The casino in the hotel is a perfect place to get your gambling fix. The sea is amazing to just chill. The Hyatt Regency Aruba offers the perfect getaway.

The beach is crowded and view is blocked with umbrellas. The hotel rooms are loud and you can hear everything through the walls. The service is slow but staff was friendly. The bed in our room was broken. We left early to go to the Ritz down the beach. We were charged for our full stay plus they added an early departure fee, which does not make sense if we were charged for the entire stay and they didn't refund us for the nights we did not stay. I would stay away from this hotel.

Although this is a very nice hotel in a great location, the service and management leave much to be desired. Our room was near some kind of mechanical installation which was producing a droning noise all day and all night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. When we complained to the front desk, we were told they would give us 25,000 Hyatt points to make it up to us. We received only 15,000 points. It has now been over a month and I have emailed them three times. Each time they respond and tell me the remaining points will be added soon, but they still haven't done so. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. There are a lot of very nice hotels in the area and this one isn't cheap. We'll think twice about this one when we go back next year.

Awesome stay. Terrific service, friendly people and beautiful resort. They have everything you could need or want in room and on property. Had a few special requests and they accommodated all of them with a smile. Thanks for a pleasant stay. Would return!! It is definitely worth staying here.

My stay at the Hyatt Regency in Aruba was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking views, coupled with its ideal location, made it a perfect choice. The hotel is l kid-friendly and also exudes a sense of safety that adds to the overall experience. The beauty of the surrounding water is truly mesmerizing, offering a picturesque backdrop throughout the stay. What truly set this experience apart was the unparalleled service. The staff's attentiveness and commitment to ensuring a memorable stay made it one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Highly recommend the Hyatt Regency in Aruba for a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and top-notch service.

I was very excited to go to the hotel after reading all the great reviews; however, there was a hurricane in NY and my flight got canceled. I called the hotel to adjust the dates and they did not, said there is no “credit system” so I would just lose my reservation. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered a hotel doing that. I would not recommend this hotel during hurricane season in case your flight gets changed as you would have to pay extra / no show and lose your money.

Wonderful vacation spot. We can't wait to come back. We did some exploring of the island, but everywhere we went, we couldn't wait to get back to the ocean and pools at the Hyatt!! We ate bot casino people, so I can't say whether that was any good, we only walked in for the a/c.

Room 558. Second stay at this Hyatt and it's my fav hotel on the island. Quaint, comfortable, serene and calming setting. Location is central and close to the shops and restaurants. Service is excellent, rooms spacious and clean and modern, beautiful and calm ocean that's swimmable, two pools including an adults serene pool and another pool for kids with impressive water slide, activities available poolside daily and throughout the day, on-site restaurants and coffee shop and a few bars, onsite casino. A lovely quaint hotel that's isn't overly crowded or big. Recommended

Fabulous resort hotel situated in the heart of Aruba next to many restaurants and shopping. Checking in and out is easy. Rooms are comfortable. American dollars are accepted everywhere. One important issue... Bring cash with you. The hotel has $10 fee for the local Atm. Other than that, it's paradise. 🏖️

Rooms and resort are just beautiful! We loved the Hyatt while on our vacation, but a week after arrived home received charge of $1679.00 2x on my back card. After spending almost an hour calling 3 different times to notify the hotel they did nothing. The employees/managers I spoke with were not helpful and were pretty rude about the situation and said they knew were they were talking about and I didn’t, saying the charge would fall off eventually. NO, I had to go to my bank and file claim for double charging and wait another week to get my money refunded. Not acceptable to rip people off and play with thousands of dollars of guests monies

This is an amazing hotel with an extremely pleasant staff. If you want the best possible experience see Paola at the concierge desk. She is amazing!!! We are on our honeymoon and she helped us plan our whole itinerary even when things were fully booked. We owe our experience in Aruba to her! Thank you!!!

There is a reason why this hotel is popular with Globalist. The staff is extremely attentive and courteous. Regency Club has a a great selection of items and again it's staff is A++. Great location for couples and families. Do not let anyone try to convince her you that the Marriott properties are better.

We narrowed it down to either staying at the Ritz Carlton or here and opted for the Ritz for our 5 nights in Aruba. In hindsight, I wish we stayed at the Hyatt. We found ourselves there several times during the stay, liked the grounds better, thought the staff was friendlier (by far), and it was located closer to other things to do (i.e. shops and restaurants). In particular, the hotel "market" double chocolate chip muffins were amongst the best I've ever had (and I'm a chocoholic) and it's staff went out of their way to be friendly. I know the Ritz has a reputation, but in hindsight the Hyatt impressed us much more. Next time we will stay there.

An amazing resort experience! My husband and I celebrated his birthday and the staff was so kind and accommodating. The grounds are amazingly well kept we used both pools on site and reserved the beach chairs ahead of time free of charge. The concierge at the front are the most welcoming and always ready to support as soon as they would see us come out, they would greet us and ask if they could help with directions, cab etc. the front desk team was kind, patient and really did everything they could to support guests inquiries. The birds on site are well maintained fruits and veggies everyday along with pellets. The food and in room service was great. Felt super safe having security on the grounds in the evening and they were pleasant. We will definitely be coming back with a larger group as we loved how family oriented it was but also how beautiful the adult only spaces were.

I totally recommend the Hyatt! It was beautiful, clean, wonderful people and staff. The water activities were right on the beach. The beach was so clean and clear. My kids had so much fun! Stores and restaurants are walking distance and taxis are always available to take you anywhere you want. There is always staff there ready to whistle a cab over for you. The concierge was so helpful in making reservations. Can’t wait to go again!!

This hotel is beautiful, very clean and right into the beach. The hotel has many pools with water slides especially for the kids. Rooms are big and airy. The only downside to some people is the fact that the resort is not all-inclusive. No food. They do however have lots of hotels in the resort as well as walking distance from the hotel. Food was delicious 😋

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was nice and cleaned. The service was great and the most of the workers was like family. There was 1 person at the front desk that wasn't pleasant though she didn't check us in. I love the location because lots of stuff is in walking distance.

Magical resort grounds, perfect beach location. The pools and water slide were a big hit with my kids. Everything was always updated and clean and service at every turn was impeccable. Location is perfect with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Stop looking and book this place.

Great hotel. It is in the perfect location, can easily walk to dozen of restaurants and bars. Lots of nightlife in the area but the hotel isn’t situation in a way that it affects your stay. The grounds are great. Really nice pool layout, with an adults only pool off to the side if you don’t want to be bothered. There’s also a water slide. Lots of huts and beach chairs available, all reservable through an online portal. Hotel offers lots of built in activities and has a dock and water sports station just out back for all your water rental needs.

Hyatt never disappoints and this resort is no exception. The rooms are well appointed and a nice size. The pool area is one of the nicest you see along the beach. I can't say enough good things. I am a Hyatt loyal customer for life.

This place is like a tiny peace of heaven. The grounds are immaculate. They keep them very well pleasing to the eye. Housekeeping is daily, and the ambience is really peaceful. My 2nd favorite part is the ability to walk the community outside the hotel and be safe. We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff are courteous and friendly. I recommend them a million times over.

We stayed in a pool view suite (846). Spacious, kids loved the bunk beds. No laundry or kitchenette facility at this resort. The palapa (beach umbrellas) get booked out quick. Reverse then online at least 2 weeks before. More during Nov to Jan (busy season). Service is good. Not many food options for vegetarians.

What a fantastic hotel! I won't go in to every little detail, so just allow me to summarize by saying everything is GREAT!!! All of the staff was amazing! I can't cite not one bad incident in the 5 days that we stayed! When you come to Aruba, you will not go wrong if you stay at the Hyatt.

I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It has to be our favorite vacation ever. First, the hotel is gorgeous, beautiful landscaping (koi pond), pools are really well maintained and really nice rooms. (Comfy bed). Second, the service in this Hyatt hotel is Immaculate. Hotel staffs have such an amazing customer service, I haven’t been to a resort with this much excellent customer service. Lastly, Hyatt has the best beach front, white soft powder sand and clear water. We walked the beach often and saw other hotels beach water had seaweeds, etc. I also want to point out the location of the hotel, it’s in such a prime spot, you can 5 minutes walk to all of the amazing restaurants that’s on the main road. I just want to do a quick shoutout to Mary from juice stand, she’s a truly a remarkable worker, always smiling and greeting every hotel guests while making delicious smoothie. It’s important to highlight people that are going above and beyond to make sure guests are satisfied. So Hyatt management, if you are reading my review, please give my regards to Mary for just being an amazing person and she’s a great representative for the company.

Nice restaurant with a perfect sunset spot. Impeccable customer service. Regular casino. To be frank, the temperature inside of the casino is so low that the employees walk with jackets. When we asked for some kind of blankets to keep ourselves warm, unfortunately, they couldn't provide any... Not sure why they haven't bought any blankets or jackets for the customers

Everything was pretty good until the time for check out. We had 4 rooms, our transportation pick up time was 3:30. Hotel refused to allow us a late check out at least for 1 room. They were just absolutely unwilling to accommodate us and make our departure unstreesfull. And that is after been this hotel customer for 5 times and leaving ton of money there. Even if I ever return to Aruba it will be different hotel for sure

Can not say enough great things about this hotel. Staff is very nice and pleasant. This hotel is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff is always cleaning but they always greet you with a smile. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. All of the staff is also the hardest working people I have met. Great job to the entire team at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Casino Aruba.

Had a lovely stay here! Staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The free activities offered each day are a nice touch and we had a great time at the Mixology class. The rooms and common spaces were clean and modern and the outdoor areas including the pools and bars were beautiful. We spent most of the time at the beach but there was a quiet adults only pool and a family pool with a water slide. Lots of interesting wildlife on the property as well including the parrots, whose cages looked clean and well maintained. Landscaping is impeccable and feels like a slice of Eden. Casino and gym were also very nice and although not huge, had everything one would need on a vacation. Infused water station is lovely although I wish it was out all day. Only complaint is that the wifi was kind of spotty but that seems to be a trend across the island. Wonderful experience, would recommend this hotel to anyone and hoping to come back soon!
