We stayed here for a week with two kids. The place was beautiful! Clean and fun! The apartment was clean when we arrived, it had everything we needed. Pots and pans, a nice bathroom, and a nice size bedroom and the pull out couch for our kids was so comfortable. The balcony was perfect we saw the adult pool area with the music at times, loved that everything shut down after 10 pm so it was nice and quiet. The Air conditioner worked great and the fridge as well. People that work there were nice overall.

Fantastic resort. Clean, friendly, helpful. Close to beach. 3 great pools; 1 with a slide, 1 with a waterfall, and an adults only pool. Grills guests can use. I think all rooms have a kitchen area. Our room is like a small apartment. Easy to get public transportation to visit the island. Highly recommend.

Loved Eagle Aruba and hope to return asap! Room was clean and spacious, with a full kitchen. Food was good. Happy hours kept cocktails affordable. The pools were great and Eagle Beach, right across the street, was the best we've seen. There were activities for various ages. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a basic, clean, affordable resort. We had a one bedroom suite which had a kitchen area, eating area, sofa with TV, balcony, and a separate bedroom with the bathroom attached. Housekeeping comes in daily to freshen up the room. Kitchen has a refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, and dishes/glasses for four. You can walk to the supermarket across the street and stock up for your stay. The pools were a good size and not very crowded when were were there (September). The adult pool is not really a pool but has built in loungers in it and is fairly small. It is right next to the bar and is where some of the activities occur like the DJ and bingo. Close to the beach, probably a 4-5 minute walk. You cross the parking log, go through the lobby of La Cabana, walk through their pool area, cross the street, and you are at the beach. They have attendants that will get chairs for you - they keep them locked up. There is a bar at the beach and restrooms are across the street at La Cabana. They have 2 restaurants - Uncle Tony's Pizza and Double Down sports bar. The food is OK but is priced for tourists. You can do better at the restaurants downtown or at the other local resorts. If you are looking for luxury - this is NOT the place. But if you want great value in a good location with decent rooms and amenities then I recommend it. They also have time shares available, we did the presentation which is one on one over breakfast. It was not high pressure and they give you some freebies for attending. Took less than an hour, but we did not decide to buy. It is in a quieter part of the beach away from the high rise hotels at Eagle Beach and the bustle of downtown. Not a whole lot within walking distance, but there are rental bike that you can use to get around. Also taxis can take you to the high rise area for around $9 and downtown for about $12.

Fully recommend! Staff’s attention is great and they help you in any way they can. Kudos to Pablo for his great service! The suite is spacious and fully equipped. Location is absolutely amazing! 5 minute walk to the beach and to the superfood (supermarket). Good restaurants nearby and 30 minute walk to the large hotel area with plenty of restaurants, stores and more! They give you full access to the beach with chairs and little cabanas to get some shadow.

First time in Aruba and we had an amazing time at the resort. I feel it offered everything we needed for an amazing family vacation! Having a kitchen and making meals was so convenient! I like eating out but I also like preparing some meals and the kitchen had everything you would need. The pools were great for the kids, whether you have little ones or teens. They did have a small adults only pool as well. There was ample parking, which we had a rental car so that was nice. The balcony was great to relax in the evenings! Our microwave was working but they quickly brought us a small one for the counter. Housekeeping was great and wasn’t stingy on the towels. The beds were very comfy. Air conditioner was cold and the shower pressure was great! Overall, a spectacular stay. Pro Tip: Bring small containers of all your seasonings, oils, and condiments so you don’t have to buy it here! There is a Superfoods within 1/2 a mile.

This is our second time renting here. Resort is amazing. Tony's Pizza is poolside. Double Down has great food too. Love the location, about a 5 min walk to the beach, I can watch the sunset from my room. Adult pool has great entertainment and happy hour from 3-5. Rooms are modern. Housekeeping is amazing.

The rooms were outdated, moldy, damp, and smelly. I had major breathing issues which required medical intervention and has continued at home due to the mold issues at this resort. Do not stay here if you want to breathe. The resort itself is boring. A sea of old people with blue wrist bands who call themselves β€œThe owners” (because they are timeshare owners) take up every single chair by the pools, at 4:30am, with their towels and get angry at you if you try and use an extra chair THAT THEY DO NOT NEED because they claimed all of them at 4:30am. Old people smoking in non smoking sections. Gross. The staff sucked. The whole place just sucked. It’s a boring boomer haven full of half dead zombies walking around with their mouths open. Do yourself a favor and spend a little bit more money and stay at another resort in the area. Aruba is cool but this place is not.

Great resort for the price. Great location. 5 minute walk to the beach. 20 minute walk to the high-rise/strip area with all the restaurants. 10 minute walk to the supermarket. The food at the restaurant is decent. The drinks sucked. Happy hour is buy 1 get 1 which is definitely needed as it takes at least 10 drinks to feel a buzz, I'm not sure what kind of cheap liqour they're using. Enrique the bartender was cool. The other bartenders weren't too good at all, the service was lacking, no one other than Enrique is friendly at all. The 3 pools were great. Very clean. The rooms were big and had everything you need. I'd highly recommend as a budget conscious stay in Aruba. I just left 2 days ago and were already looking to book again for next year.

Loved it! Room was spacious for two people, beds were comfy, kitchenette was a perfect size, we didn't cook, we were "on vacation from our problems" and wanted to enjoy every bit of it. Eagle Beach is gorgeous! The resort has three different pools, activities throughout the day, bathrooms were clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Angelo helped us quite a bit, all the guys were fantastic! The beach was less than 5min away...get there early! We arrived between 6:30-7am and the lounge chairs were already being spoken for. Our trip was from 9/9-9/16, just a bit after busy season. Very safe & walkable if it's not too hot. Shop on site sells bus passes, round trip $5.00 and highly recommended during the day. Super Foods is a close walk, bring your own alcohol in a checked bag, prices are high. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The people are so friendly....happy island 😊 Love Aruba and hope to visit again!

This is probably one of the best resorts my wife and I stayed out. It's in a good location . It's a short walk to Eagle Beach, and the workers help you get a cabana. And you about 20 min walk to palm beach or 5 min drive to get too. Love the live music and the pool bar. The waterfall is going into the pool and lit up at night. I would stay again

We like this resort. Much smaller and quieter then some of the big resorts. Very clean. Rooms are a great size. Pretty much a full size kitchen. Adult pool was nice. Happy hour from 3pm - 5pm was a can't miss event for us.

I really enjoyed out stay at this resort! The location is great, right near Eagle beach and the best Grocery store. We had most things we needed within walking distance. Not a fan of the timeshare sales tactics, "join us for breakfast," but I didn't fall for it. Loved that the pool and beach wasn't too crowded. Loved the live music every day. Didn't care for the iguanas. Most of the staff was so friendly, a special shout out to Jonathan, his service went above a beyond. Be sure to check you bill during Happy Hour, was charged incorrectly one day.

I booked a 1bd with a king bed for 8 days and found the experience wonderful. The room included a fully stocked kitchen with a refrigerator, a balcony, a living room with great lighting and a TV, a spacious bathroom, and the bedroom with great natural lighting and regular lighting. Room service changed our towels and sheets every day and disposed of trash. The location is perfect with a 5 min walk to Eagle Beach where, if you get there early, you can get a nice table hut and as many beach chairs that you need. There's also great activities during the week for kids and adults. The kid pool is perfect with a fun water slide and the adult pool is great for adults trying to get away from the kids. There's staff that will happily bring you a drink from the bar. The overall experience was amazing and will definitely be going back.

We had a great time. My only complaint was the restaurant Uncle Tony. We ate breakfast there and on 2 occasions we had send it back due to it being very cold. We actually had wings and had to send them back as well. I must say the manager on both times was very nice. The staff at the hotel itself was very nice and helpful. The location is great, the place is clean as well.

I very much enjoyed our 10 day stay at the hotel. The beach was just a short walk from our room and a very nice adult-sized pool even closer. For lunch we depended on delicious and healthy fruit bowls from a stand on the hotel grounds. The room was set up more like an apartment, complete with stove and full refrigerator which we put into full use. Beds were very comfortable and the room was kept clean. Room temperature was great. Overall, we felt very well taken care of. One staff member, Pablo H., the hotel's Bell Captain, who I had more interaction with, was very helpful, while being very kind and friendly. Thank you Eagle Aruba for a great vacation!

I must say I was truly impressed with this resort. Doesn't sit on beach but less than a 5 or 6 minute walk. Comfortable rooms and bed. Stock kitchen with all the appliances you need. Check in was slow,,(only cause someone didn't add my name to reservation) but still a warm welcome. 3 pools, one has entertainment and great bar. Overall I would give a 8.9 out of 10.

I am an owner and they have done many new renovations. It is a nice place to stay. It is comfortable, the service is good, and the employees are very professional. You truly feel at home at Eagle Aruba. You should visit and I say buy a week or two it is worth the money and the price to purchase was quite reasonable when I bought.

After a slow start and room not being ready, everything was fantastic after. We were only asked once regarding a timeshare presentation, so not sure what other reviewers are talking about. Just tell them no. Pools were great, food at restaurants on site was average but don't worry, plenty in walking or short drive. Room was perfect, 2 bedroom penthouse. Perfect for family of 4. 14 year old and 11 year old. Full kitchen and full fridge. Great price for being a block from the beach ⛱️.

Resort is on the smaller side, yet very cozy. If you're looking for relaxation, this is the place to be. It has three pools and the beach is 5 min walk across the road. Our room was a one bedroom apartment, complete with small kitchen and sofa bed for extra guests. Very clean and peaceful at night.

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools are great! The rooms are like little apartments and set up well. The location is a block from a nice beach. Now for the parts that weren’t so great. The casino advertised is closed and has been for awhile. The restaurant had very good service but the food was not very good and limited selections. I think most of it went from the freezer to the fryer or oven. On check in the had us down for 2 beds when I reserved a king and claimed they couldn’t change it. The next morning I had bed bug bites on my legs, a lot of them. I get that it’s the tropics and these things happen sometimes. But when I went to the front desk and asked to change rooms at first they tried to tell me it wasn’t possible to have housekeeping take care of it. I calmly stuck to my guns and said I needed to change rooms, finally they had me talk to the supervisor and they arrange for me to change rooms but the supervisor acted like she was doing me a big favor and they did nothing to try to make it right. In fact the supervisor tried to tell me it wasn’t bedbugs and that I had some mosquito bites from sitting on the balcony of the room. I didn’t see a mosquito the whole time I was there.

Honestly this resort exceeded my expectations. The room was great and came with everything we needed for our stay including a kitchen and large rooms. The balcony we had was a lovely place to relax. When we needed new towels or a cleaning they came each time and refreshed the room with no issues. The pool and hot tub were a great way to end our days. The bar was convenient too. However, I wish things stayed open a little later as everything closed at 10pm including the bar.

Exceeded expectations. The room was updated, food, drinks and service was top notch. Security and safety of the guest is taken to another level. The cabanas of the Eagle beach were fantastic too. We will definitely stay again at the Eagle Resort.

The hotel is close to everything. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The three pool are perfect. I love they had music every night and the food and drinks at the restaurant by the pool were good and reasonably priced. I will definitely go back. Aruba is truly a Happy Island.

Our overall experience was great. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are nice and large. Pools were great and kids really enjoyed the water slide. The beach was a 5 min walk through La cabana resort. Would recommend and likely stay again.

Combined an event and a holiday. Check in was quite easy and staff were helpful. We had requested a king room but found a double on getting to the room. Again, staff were very helpful in getting us sorted out. Rooms are big and spacious. Plugs by the beds didn't work, but it was not important to us so we told maintenance not to worry. Uncle Tony's was closed for renovations but were still offering daily options. Double Down food was good and staff were great. Location suited us, with Super Foods across the highway and many restaurants to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff here was wonderful, they made you feel right at home. The pools were all beautiful, we really enjoyed them. House keeping was great, rooms were nice and clean. Amazing location. Right by the superfoods, paired with the little kitchens was a nice amenity. Seriously right by the best beach. Well worth the reasonable price. We will be back next year!

The resort was beautiful! All the staff were very hospitable. They had around the clock activities with multiple pools, music, drinks, and food. The rooms were tidy and spacious. Check in and check out was a breeze even when we had to end our trip early unexpectedly. Definitely wanna come back again.

Good option for those with kids! Nice pool with giant water slide! There is no direct access to the beach, but it is like 200 meters away. Friendly staff is always available to help. The room is very confortable, with a full equipped kitchen. There is a huge supermarket very close. Just buy your stuff and it's done! Approved!

Maybe it was the time of year, but there was very little activities to do there at the facility. It was quiet by 9:00pm. Not a bad place to stay, but next time I may look at the place across the street "La Cabana" across the street! You are also closer to the Ocean if you stay at this resort and they have more fun activities!

  • 4/5 Sonyaa W. 7 months ago on Google
Amazing experience. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly, great hospitality. They have daily schedule activities for the kids. Very short walk to the beach. The water slide at the pool kept the kids entertained for hours. I honestly did not enjoy the food, but I guess that's a matter of taste because I know people that did enjoy the food. I think this might be my new home away from home, at least while my kids are still little. I highly recommend for families, especially with little ones.

In July 2022 I booked a two bedroom condo at the Eagle Aruba Resort and Casino for a family vacation and my daughter's sweet 16. Upon arriving at the resort they informed us they made a mistake and gave our room away, and subsequently gave us two adjoining rooms. When we went to these rooms we found that one of the room wasn't cleaned (towels and garbage all over the room) from the previous guests, and had a strong mildew/mold smell. They advise they would send house keeping up, which took them another 3 to 4 hours to get done. It should be noted the smell was still there. So for two nights my family (5 adults) had to sleep in a one bedroom w/a pull out couch (almost 3 days). It should be noted that they were were suppose to move our room after the first night to an upgraded sweet, but they once again gave that room away. They finally did move us to another room, and advised us they were going to reimburse us for the two previous nights (almost 3 days). They also gave us couple of meal vouchers, and were suppose to reimburse $600 plus for the not having appropriate sleeping and living accommodations for two nights. Now 2 1/2 months later we are finally going to get reimbursed $250, well under what they agreed to. Poor business on there part. This was are first time vacationing in Aruba, and definitely the last time to this resort as they don't seem to care about promises and commitments they make. Aruba is beautiful, and most of the guest staff at this resort were very good, but management failed us. Our first 2 to 3 days at Aruba were impacted negatively by our stay at this resort. My advice is to not stay here, but stay instead in the HI- RISE section.

We (couple) stayed here 9 days in April 2023. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We had a 1 BR/BA suite with kitchen, living room, and balcony in the sunrise tower. Our balcony was great and overlooked the waterfall pool. Since it was shaded in the afternoon it was enjoyable in the evening. The grocery was a quick walk, so was the beach and the bus stop. The bus was a great find to travel to Orangestad or Palm Beach. The overall feel was calm and relaxing. We enjoyed both the waterfall pool and beach. It was a great find and convenient to everywhere.

Our family of 4 stayed here and we loved it. We booked it last minute and it didn't disappoint. Close to everything including Eagle Beach and great restaurants, staff was friendly, rooms had a decent kitchen and lots of space for the kids to sleep in the other room (and they were nice and dark, big plus!). Thank you again we will be back in the future.

The resort, overall, is very nice and spacious. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. They also have transportation options at the front door. Downside: They only have 1 sports bar, 1 bar and 1 pizza/wings/bar. Not a lot for a first class resort.

Great place for families vacations - clean and all the utilities you could possibly need. Can't give 5 stars because the reception and the rooms are a bit dated. Special mention for the lady from the waterslide! She is amazing, and you could tell that she really cares about the safety of the kids!
