Every
small
thing
that
could
go
wrong
sort
of
did
here.
The
check-in
process
took
over
45
minutes
and
there
was
only
one
person
in
front
of
us
that
entire
time.
Our
room
was
a
10+
minute
walk
from
the
main
area
(and
that
was
for
two
young
and
able-bodied
people).
They
have
a
shuttle
that
can
take
you
to
and
from
your
room
or
to
the
other
resorts,
but
they
either
take
a
long
time
or
never
come
when
the
bellhop
calls
them
so
most
of
the
time
it
wasn’t
worth
it.
The
room
was
fine,
but
was
really
average
for
being
a
“premium”
room.
It
wasn’t
visibly
disgusting,
but
also
wasn’t
very
clean.
All
of
the
soap
dispensers
were
rusted,
there
was
soap
residue/grime
in
the
shower,
as
well
as
a
cockroach.
The
coffee
machine
in
our
room
didn’t
work,
and
the
sliding
door
had
a
broken
handle
so
anyone
could
have
walked
in
to
our
room.
The
hotel
staff
promptly
fixed
the
door
when
asked,
but
we
didn’t
notice
until
late
one
evening
so
we
had
to
sleep
with
an
unlocked
door.
We
paid
extra
to
be
right
on
the
beach,
but
our
strip
of
beach
was
full
of
seaweed.
We
spent
most
of
our
time
walking
to
Divi’s
beach
since
that
water
was
much
nicer.
The
most
frustrating
part
of
this
stay
was
the
food.
There
is
only
one
place
open
for
breakfast
and
lunch
and
it’s
cafeteria
style.
We
aren’t
particularly
picky
eaters
and
it
was
difficult
for
us
to
eat
there
by
the
second
day.
The
food
quality
was
poor,
foods
were
sweet
when
they
shouldn’t
be
(the
marinara
sauce)
and
the
salad
was
the
only
light
option,
but
the
lettuce
was
limp
and
brown
and
you
can’t
pour
your
own
dressing.
The
food
at
the
dinner
options
is
better,
but
it
didn’t
really
matter
because
we
couldn’t
get
reservations
anywhere.
We
didn’t
go
during
a
peak
season,
and
even
trying
to
get
reservations
three
days
before
(as
soon
as
you’re
allowed)
we
still
were
only
able
to
get
2
dinners
during
our
6-day
stay
and
both
were
at
the
same
restaurant.
It
seems
like
they
potentially
added
more
rooms
without
adding
any
additional
food
options
because
it
was
really
unbelievable
how
difficult
it
was
to
get
a
dinner
reservation,
especially
when
there’s
no
“walk
in”
option.
This
isn’t
really
on
the
resort,
but
there
was
an
absolutely
bizarre
incident
during
which
a
man
who
didn’t
have
appear
to
have
anything
to
do
with
Divi
approached
our
group
while
we
were
walking
back
to
our
rooms
around
9pm
and
tried
to
sell
us
cocaine.
This
was
particularly
troubling
because
we
weren’t
even
on
the
street
side
of
the
resort;
we
were
on
the
boardwalk
that
is
between
the
rooms
and
the
beach.
In
general,
everyone
who
worked
there
was
wonderful
and
helpful,
unfortunately,
there
were
so
many
little
things
that
we
basically
didn’t
want
to
even
bother
people
with
them.
