There’s nothing wrong with this hotel. The beach is incredible, lobby is nice, bar is good enough, rooms were adequate, restaurants were tasty. However, there was a general lack of the true luxury and refined service that separates Ritz Carlton from the lower-tier brands in Marriott’s portfolio. The hotel just wasn’t quite at the level I’ve seen and come to expect from Ritz Carlton. Know what you’re getting into. My trip to Aruba was spectacular and I would definitely go back, don’t get me wrong. But the Ritz did not live up to its name.

My recent stay at the Ritz-Carlton Aruba was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped foot onto the property, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The waterfront location provided breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The facilities at the resort were top-notch, with both adult and kids pools catering to every guest's needs. Whether I wanted to relax poolside with a cocktail or engage in some family fun, there was something for everyone. The attention to detail throughout the property was evident, from the beautifully landscaped gardens to the luxurious accommodations. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of perfection. Their friendly demeanor and genuine hospitality made me feel like a valued guest from start to finish. Overall, my time at the Ritz-Carlton Aruba exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in a stunning location. I can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories.

I stayed in this hotel as it was incentive. So I cannot complain. Beds comfy, food acceptable. Definitely it’s premium hotel, but some stuff were missing: 1. Environment sustainability-No water saving policy (regarding to towels) which IMHO should be crucial in the island where they need to desalinate water and utilize gallons of fuel to do this, no AC turned off while balcony opening. It’s generating horrific costs not mentioning about destroying the environment. Maybe you can offer like 10$ discount for every day of stay when guest resigned from exchanging towels? 2. Missing”Do not disturb” signs or cleaning on demand. I got it- luxury is when every single paper is cleaned, but how messy you could be at your room, while spending days on the beach? 3. No preferred taxi services (which are in Aruba nightmare, I got the point about earning money, but please with regular work not unclear rules and scamming), 4. Lack of information regarding to pool/beach services. Big plus for availability of sunscreens and after sun treatments. I think we lived in times, when luxury can be combined with environmental sustainability, and brands which represent responsibility for environmental protection are even more luxurious.

I booked a romantic dinner at the beach to secretly propose to my partner. The experience was absolutely 10/10. We enjoyed the sunset and every single moment. Cristina was the manager I worked with on the reservation and she was so so nice taking care of us. She appointed Alexis to be our personal butler and he was simply perfect. He was involved in every single detail and took great care of us. He was kind, nice and even took photos/videos for us. He made it really smooth and easy for us. Alexis was extremely nice and respected our timing (we never feel rushed) and also our privacy (we were surrounded by trees at the beach). The location was surreal and the quality of our 4 meal course was absolutely perfect. I strongly recommend the Whispering Angel’s wine. The decor and ambiance was so well put (I know Alexis, our butler, carefully planned it). I will never forget that night. Thank you Ritz-Carlton for making this an unforgettable night. PS: he said yes 👬♥️

7 day stay and I have to admit it is the best service I have ever experienced in my life. The phrase that all staff live by is "It's my pleasure", and I think they actually mean it. No request goes unanswered or addressed. Just be prepared for the cost of food. A meal for 4, lunch, 200 a meal. I suggest getting a car and exploring the island as after 3 days you will start to desire to see more. The price is about 8 to 900 per day that only covers the room not food. You will receive unlimited free water and toiletries. And upon your checkout you get the cutest farewell package with your bill. Overall impeccable service with a smile, but the cost is astronomical for a per night stay. I understand it desires to cater to a particular clientele but I have been to more exotic locations, paid less and received so much more for my dollar.

We stayed there in May 2022 for 5 days and the hotel was a bit dated, pools were small and food was nothing spectacular for a 5-star luxury hotel and they offer no local dishes or ingredients, everything is imported! Kids club and playground were simply a joke, don’t even bother using them. The beach is however spectacular and the water sports are amazing. Service and drinks at the beach were outstanding as well. Outside the hotel there was not much to do but the running track was fabulous, especially towards the lighthouse. Conclusion: not best hotel for families and very little value for money.

Great location, staff, rooms. The housekeeping department is TOP NOTCH our room was very clean every day and we had turn down service at night as well. It was so nice to be treated well- I can’t even explain how nice it was to get service this good in todays world!!! The beach and pool service was also fast and excellent. Cab rides to just about anywhere were $7. If you have more than 5 people in your party you may want to rent a car or work with a private shuttle because the taxis are by law limited to 5.

When you’re located in Aruba you certainly have a leg up on most hotels, but this Ritz-Carlton is simply superb. The level of care and attention to detail, the special customer service, the food, the hotel appointments, and friendliness are stunning. Nothing was ignored, everything was considered and these folks work all day long to make sure you’re happy. I know this may well sound as though the hotel management wrote it, but i assure you i am but one customer who just returned from Aruba and felt compelled to tell you about this perfect resort hotel

Beautiful resort with exceptional service. The beach is gorgeous. The lounge chairs have comfortable cushions and umbrellas that withstand the Aruba wind. Beach staff couldn’t do enough for you. If you can upgrade to the lounge level they have quite a nice buffet breakfast lunch and dinner all day long and fantastic drinks. Note that you do not get automatic upgrade to club lounge based on your level like you would in other Marriott hotels. You need to book a club level room or pay fee. We’re Ambassador level and was not included but the club level rooms are lovely and spacious and was a nice upgrade. The pools could be bigger and not as nice as Marriott next door but we prefer beach. The restaurants on property are nice but prefer the other restaurants off property for dinner within a short walk away. Overall amazing and will be back.

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton and our vacation was amazing. Ore room spacious and clean with a comfy bed with a spectacular ocean front view from our balcony. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Food was incredible and a we enjoyed dinners outside every evening. Property was beautiful and well maintained. Felt safe at all times of the day and night. The casino was beautiful and we enjoyed time spent there every evening. My husband requires a cane to walk and we were offered a wheelchair to use if needed upon arrival . It was difficult to for me to navigate the wheelchair on the sand however we were offered assistance as soon as we arrived at the beach. We were so fortunate to have the pleasure to meet Eddy Oduber and Noami the first day. Their assistance throughout our stay incredible. In conversation I had told Eddy that my husband and I had always been beach goers and frequently visited the beach when we lived in the east coast. We relocated to Arizona 14 years ago and have not been to the beach since. I was telling him how unfortunate it was that he could not get to go into the water as I felt the ocean floor was too unstable for him. To our surprise Eddy and Noami appeared the next day with a lounger on wheels that floated in the water. Eddy brought my husband in the ocean for a hour that day and wanted to come back the next day on his day off to bring him into the ocean again. It was truly a dream come true for us. They both took care of our every need and beyond during our visit with genuine compassion and smiles . It was so refreshing and amazing to meet a young man and young women that went way above and beyond. I need to say I never wrote a review on Anything but felt compelled to write this one. Because of them they gave us a dream vacation that was unforgettable. They even presented us with a frame with pictures of our vacation when we left. The Ritz Carlton deserves a 5 star review on its own however I wish I could give them 10 stars. Thank you Eddy and Noami for being the wonderful people you both are and giving us such great memories We love you both and can’t thank you enough. The Ritz Carlton is so lucky to have you both. Hope to see you next year!!

Haven't gotten into the room yet (waiting on it to be prepared), but I wanted to comment on the wonderful check-in experience. Mitchell truly went above and beyond to find us the best room possible - even though it took some time and a few conversations with his superviser. I'm a Titanium Elite Bonvoy member and getting a great upgrade is something that I look forward to and, frankly, have become accustomed to for most stays. Though the hotel is nearly at capacity, Mitchell made significant efforts to see if there was a way to get us a suite. And he succeeded. I've experienced other front desk representatives who would simply say, "We're at capacity. Sorry." But Mitchell was patient and diligent. I REALLY appreciate that. Great way to start a vacation!

I’ve been here for 24 hours and I wish I had not come to this hotel. My ocean view rooms only have a view of the ocean if you are on the balcony. I paid $230 for a beach setup that was dated and decrepit. The food is average. Service is definitely the highlight but it’s still only a 7.5/10. We are here as a family and my kids went to the kids club today… but all they did was play video games for 3 hours for $170 for two kids. Common.

We had an amazing stay. The property is on a gorgeous section of the beach. We ended up eating at the BLT steakhouse and the service and food was incredible. We brought our small children and they had a great time. Staff were very attentive, at the end of our stay we ended up getting COVID and the staff including the GM Vanessa and Carlos were incredible. They helped us through the whole process and were incredibly accommodating. Everyone along the way was 5 stars, I haven't had such good service and attention in a long time.

Excellent hotel on a beautiful beach. We loved the location, service, and the adult pool. It is a calm hotel and it was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation. My teen daughter loved it too. You can walk along the beach to many places as well. Beautiful view from our balcony. Easy to get cabs to great restaurants in the area as well.

If you are looking for a quiet vacation where everyone follows the rules, this place is for you. The rooms are spectacular and the views are great, but the food is overpriced and the pool has no music (you get yelled at if you play your own). The beach was perfect and the provide sunscreen and water toys, which was a big plus. The location could be more centralized. However, for the quiet ambiance, they are going for it meets the needs. I would be careful staying here with kids, they get yelled at if they run around and be kids by the staff trying to create that quiet atmosphere.

The pools are open from 7am to 5am, which is amazing because most of the other hotels near here only open pools from 8am-6pm or so. However, for the beach, to get front row seating at the beach, you need to be there by 7-8am (in August, which is slow season for the island). As you might imagine, service is amazing and employees are attentive, but the convenience stores inside are twice the price of their competitors (eg, shops at the Marriott or Hyatt next door). There is no menu for the “bus bar” by the pool/beach because everything is made custom to your preferences - each drink I had was delicious. Virgin cocktails start at $21 and drinks in a coconut or pineapple are $35.

Very Nice hotel. Food is really good. Staff at the casino was awesome. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the beach. 2 pools, 1 for kids with a playground nearby, and one for adults with cabanas.

First time in Aruba and now will surely not be our last and, in most part due to the spectacular, professional and responsive service from everyone at the front desk, hospitality, beach staff, housekeeping and a shout out to the front desk and Alfredo Pena for their outstanding service. Staying at the Ritz was a complete pleasure especially as we had several rooms and a large group. Except for the slight wind now and then, I really can find anything negative to say as a seasoned traveler, it's a rare commodity for me to find a rare gem like Ritz Carlton Aruba!! See you again next year same time, just remember higher floor next time :)...Be safe and see you again... Rob aka Davidman

Had an intimate wedding here just myself and my now husband. Everything was so perfect thanks to Corrine the Ritz's Special Events Manager. She made sure to cover every detail and we had the exact wedding day we wanted. We were treated very special from the moment we arrived at the hotel and were greeted more than once with special goodies sent up to us by Corrine and staff. With all of the uncertainty in the world and crazy travel restrictions we are truly grateful for the level of service the Ritz provided us, which allowed us to just enjoy the experience!

This was our second trip to the hotel and this time the hotel absolutely did not live up to the standards of a Ritz. I spent $8000 and left the hotel to stay at the Renaissance for a night because the food and the service were sub-standard. The food is bland and ordinary. As an example, my son's partner went to the buffet the first day and he said that he could eat the eggs and bacon but the frittata was like rubber and the other items were not good. The service is not up to the standard. The AC in my room was freezing cold at night. I called down asking for blankets two hours. To shut off the AC was suffocating. I finally went to the front desk at 3 am and they finally brought blankets. I lost the next day of my vacation because I got no sleep. I had to rest in my room for 4 hours. My son called for a bucket of ice because his partner was badly sunburned and they never came. I wrote a number of times to the Front Desk manager and she compensated me for $20 for a wrap that I said that I could have bought in Dallas for $7. She did absolutely nothing else despite the fact that she called me the day that I had to rest in my room because I got no sleep. I will not be back and I have gone on social media to warn all of my friends not to go to this hotel because it is not truly a Ritz.

What a disappointment! Outdated small room with a broken mini refrigerator and unconfirmed beds. Be prepared to pay $100/night resort fees for nothing. Food options are limited and the two restaurants are a joke and a disgrace. Overpriced frozen, canned food. Will never step a good again in any Ritz

The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba is everything you'd expect from a Ritz-Carlton brand hotel and more. This Ritz-Carlton offers true 5-star level accommodations, excellent dining options, and world-class service. The rooms are all generous in size with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Each restaurant offers fresh and unique food options. Most importantly, the service provided at the Ritz-Carlton was top-notch. Everyone was extremely courteous and went above and beyond to make sure your experience was beyond your expectations. Thank you, Ritz-Carlton, Aruba!

One of the best experiences I have had. Great location, service and rooms. I had a great time with my company Datasite here and will definitely return. Weather was quite warm but lots of sun. The sunsets from my room were breathtaking

More than just a hotel! It’s the place with the best sushi in Aruba, to watch the sunset while sipping on a perfectly mixed drink by the super attentive service staff, to enjoy one of the many treatments in their beautiful spa, and… to get married! As a wedding photographer I had the pleasure shooting a wonderful couple’s wedding here, and the RC exceeds in service, from their own super professional and experienced wedding planner, making sure every set up is perfect, to their rooms and beach and pool area serving as a perfect backdrop for your photos (see pictures, @yvesobjectiv). If you are considering a destination wedding, the RC has all it takes to create wonderful #rcmemories here. Furthermore, the RC is a big supporter for local animal rescue organizations, which I love and appreciate so much!

We live on the island of Aruba for more then 28 years. The Ritz Carlton is our favorite hotel, we like to visit this hotel for many years. It became our second home and really we feel part of the family. Every year - even it is 20 minutes from our home on the island - we come with pleasure to this hotel. Today we celebrate the birthday of my lovely wife. Yesterday and today ...September 19th 2023, I made a lot of pictures. I hope you will like them. With regards Rudolf Barlage..😎😎😘😘😁😁😒😄

The Ritz is the top notch, premier hotel on the island. The attention to detail here is amazing and the property is meticulous from the moment you walk in the front door, to your room, to the pools, beach to the bathrooms. Service is top notch and the staff is friendly. The casino is clean and decently sized as well. Stores on site are good but do lack some variety. You won’t find the typical convenience store type setup here, but that’s no further than a short cab ride away.

Great hotel with great customer service .. accommodations are very nice and Beach access is definitely the best !! Drinks and food are just crazy expensive but of course is a high -end hotel in the Caribbean so ; it’s expensive!! The ONE thing I wish it has was live music . I was disappointed that didn’t have that option as entertainment; I mean a FULL band , they only have very mellow live music playing but they should have at least one day with a full band on weekends as option to feel the Caribbean vibe.

We stayed at the amazing Ritz for our honeymoon. From the minute we checked into, to the minute we left, our experience was incredible! Everyone was so friendly and we could not have asked for a better stay! The rooms were beautiful, wonderful lobby and breathtaking grounds.

What can I say. I am always impressed with The Ritz Carlton. The Hotel and Resort in Aruba will meet your high expectations as it did mine. Every employee was helpful with a happy and positive attitude. The valet, Bellmen, pool attendants, Concierge personnel, front desk…. They were All fantastic. Thanks everyone. Well done. You made our stay extra special and rewarding.

Hotel is nice. Second time visiting this particular hotel and can’t say that’s it’s worth the price. Was better the first time around. Staff was friendly and attentive but I expected maybe a little more for the premium price point. Probably go back to Hyatt next time we visit.

Superb property. Reflects the brand very well. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, entire property was kept very clean and maintained. Loved our stay. Food options on site, from the restaurants for dinner down to the pool bar/grill were all top notch.

This is a must stay place. You don’t have to leave for food options unless it’s your first time on the island. Everything is beautiful. The beach 🏖️ and all that’s given will make you come back again. Enclosing the spa is heavenly a last stop before you head to the airport home.

We recently got engaged here on 02/15/2022, and when I say every single thing was fairytale quality... I mean it. The grounds and the hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking. The stretch of beach it is on is so gorgeous as well The hotel staff really made the entire night special by setting up our own private table, lanterns, fairy lights, and signs--completely private--- directly in front of the water Luis, our server, was AMAZING. He was so attentive, so kind, and really made our evening special! The food was INCREDIBLE, especially the jerk chicken and the shrimp The hotel was kind enough to have THREE special desserts crafted for us The chef and the manager came all the way out to the beach to congratulate us They worked so efficiently with my fiance, I was so surprised! I am so grateful to everyone at this hotel for making this the most special experience ever!

Stayed here in June 2022 and had the best trip! It started off with amazing service from Kendrick at the front desk. All of the ladies and gentlemen working at the hotel were super pleasant and they always went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Spent many days at the beach and had great service from Luis and the rest of the crew. The bed and accommodations were super comfortable and we’re really looking forward to coming back!

We visited friend who were staying here so can't comment on the rooms. We stopped at the club lounge for a drink, it was quiet and the service was great. We also lounged on the beach property, the service was great, the lounge chairs were amazingly comfortable. There were water stations and sunscreen stations scattered around the beach area, very convenient. Do yourself a favor and try the drink served in a real pineapple.

Excellent experience last week at RC Aruba. Staff was hospitable making it a memorable vacation for our family. Rooms were clean and beautifully appointed. Highly recommend snorkeling excursion it was fun and very safe and controlled. We wish we ventured outside the resort more but everything on site was convenient and exceptional.

Luxury! What an amazing experience. The customer service and genuine friendliness from the staff was beyond top notch. The spa was lovely. The food was great and the drinks were yummy, although pricey. The view was gorgeous, especially at night. The presidential suite everything! My husband and I did an Off Road excursion with Matthew (he emphasized Matthew with two t’s, so we wouldn’t forget him!) and it was a fun way to see Aruba. I was blessed to celebrate my birthday there, thanks to my hubby. There’s other hotels along the strip but if you want to do right, stay at the Ritz!

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in early December on vacation. It was the most relaxing and luxurious vacation ever! We never left the property...the on site restaurants were outstanding. The beach and hotel surroundings, the food, the entire staff and all aspects of the hotel were the BEST! Special thanks to everyone in the 7th floor club lounge for your warm and generous hospitality and attending to our wants and needs so graciously. Never have hotel personnel treated us in such a friendly manner...and it was noticed and very much appreciated!! Great fun! We will definitely be back for a return visit.

The location couldn’t be better, the Caribbean sea is beautiful and the water is very calm, ideal for paddle boarding or any other activities. The rooms are cleaned twice a day, great service at the coffee shop, the barista Ruth Chen decorated my coffee latte every morning. We ate twice at the BLT steak house and it was delicious. Aruba is a beautiful island and I was very impressed to see how the staff at the Hotel speak several languages. Friendly people, always happy to help you 😊

Loved. Clean and lux feel. Service was impeccable. Room was roomy enough for 5 of us. Beach was gorgeous - but needs more umbrellas. Rec Pool was good enough (not great but solid). Restaurants were all solid. Spa was amazing. Little touches were great like ice pops at the pool at 2pm, turn down service, etc. Will def return.
