Walking in, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a little dated, but for the price, I'd rather have a clean, somewhat dated room, than pay a fortune for a room you're hardly in. The beach was, in my opinion, the best on the strip. The area has plenty of dining and shopping options, but there's also dining on property as well which was quite good. We'll definitely be coming back to this hotel for sure!

I came here as a last minute trip and I thought it was a great overall experience. I had stayed at Marriott Stellaris previously and just couldn’t justify the cost this time since it was just myself. I loved the laid back atmosphere and all ages of visitors from kids to older adults. Lots of pool space and set on an amazing section of the beach. I rented a palapa online prior to arrival and that was ideal because they book up. Excellent location to walk to other restaurants and shops. I would definitely return here. I stayed in an ocean view room in building 7 ( Sea view tower) facing pool and had no noise issues. Room is getting a little bit worn but totally fine.

Very nice resort, public spaces are well maintained and beautiful. Location on palm beach is convenient and the resort is nicely situated on the beach and near lots of shopping and restaurants. The service from restaurant servers and bartenders was also friendly and efficient. The food preparation at the restaurants was very good. The only area that would benefit from improvement are the rooms. The bathrooms are small, and I had issues with the toilet malfunctioning during the stay. They could benefit from a refresh. Also, they should include a couple of water bottles daily, and place them in the gym. That said, the rooms are very reasonable for the price point, and they do good job cleaning. I would definitely stay here again!

1st time staying here. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location is amazing! We walked to so many great restaurants and stores. The pool and beach was fabulous, always plenty of chairs. We came for a family vacation and we LOVED it! Highly recommend!

Make sure you can attend the hotel because you will forfeit your entire deposit if you want to cancel regardless of the reason. We had a top floor with a full ocean view. Beautiful view. The room was dated and could use what appears to be a long overdue renovation. Having said all that, I give it 5 stars overall because of the fantastic staff. The breakfast had a good selection and the staff were very friendly and the Corals restaurant also was vey nice with great staff.

Good resort for the price. Rooms are clean but need some renovation quickly. It got 3 different restaurants onsite which are all good. If you buy an all inclusive package then the cost is manageable on those restaurants otherwise it is expensive. I would recommend try other restaurants outside the resort that Aruba has to offer. There are many restaurants near the resort. Pools are very clean, towel service is good. It got 3 different pools all are kids friendly. Overall good experience for us. We stayed in an ocean view room which got some good views. New Year eve fireworks and music was enjoyable. You can book local tours right on the property, if you have a car rental you can tour yourself too.

This is my second stay here and it is an absolute dream. I understand that there are plenty of other hotels to stay at within the area but I would never recommend another location. While walking on the path between all of the hotels and beaches and seeing what others had to offer, the Holiday Inn truly has the best property. As you walk along the path, the amenities for other hotels and especially the beach availability becomes less desirable. The Holiday Inn is truly amazing. Between the 3 pools and expansive beach, you cannot go wrong. All of the hotel staff was so helpful and friendly which is always a plus since that seems very far and few between nowadays.

Rooms in the sea tower were slightly upgraded from the palm tower . Rooms are adequate. The TV channels were lacking. Beach,-awesome!! Pools , great!! Employees, -amazing and friendly!! Location is perfect. On the beach and centrally situated in front of shopping. Many loyal returning guests.

Definitely a 3 star property rooms are outdated and smell our room was cleaned once the entire time we were there. 1/2 the staff was friend and the other 1/2 was horrible. Make sure you bring a bottle for water because the only water you can get there is purchased at the store or one of the restaurants. Also don’t loose your towel card because the towel police will make you pay for a new one. Seeing as we brought a group of 18 here for our anniversary I thought they would have done something special. Beach is beautiful, pools are ok. They close at 7pm sharp. One night at 6:45 earl was kicking everyone out, never been to a resort where pools close so early. Didi at the front desk was one to remember to, asked her for a cup for water from the fountain and was instructed that that don’t do that here at this hotel. Let’s say next time we go to Aruba we will spend a few extra bucks and go elsewhere.

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had on vacation. First, we requested adjoining rooms. Which they failed to do. On arrival they made the modifications. The second room was not ready until later that day. On the second day, there was a rain storm in the morning and the entire first floor of the building flooded. The entire rooms were completely flooded!! Two inches of water. The hotel then changed our rooms again. However the second room was also not ready until 6pm. The staff showed very little interest in helping make the situation right. There was molding on the doors inside the rooms. Truly the worst staff I’ve come into contact with on any vacation. The customer service was outrageously poor. I don’t recommend staying here unless you want staff to have no care about making your experience enjoyable. Not worth your money. At all.

The Holiday Inn Aruba has a spectacular staff. Everyone working for the hotel does their best to make guests feel like their experience in Aruba is personal to them. Front desk, guest services, security and beach attendants specifically really stood out as key pieces to our enjoyable stay. Each person in those departments that we encountered had quick and helpful responses while being kind and patient. The property is great with many locations to enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean view. There are stores within the hotel not directly affiliated with Holiday inn and they are not as inviting in my experience. Prices on items such as a bottle of water ran $5.00 each and a snack sized skittles $7. You also won’t get an itemized receipt so ask prices prior to purchase which is NOT listed on most items because even still standing at the register when the shock sets in it’s too late, sale is final. Let my lesson be your money saved. Drive 20 minutes away to a local grocer. There is also a skin care store we’re all familiar with, I’m sure . The beauty experts stand out front of the doors and strategically talk you into a sales pitch for $300 eye cream. Every single solicitor IS polite when you decline their advance which is nice however you will find yourself walking by them several times a day getting around in the hotel. The hotel rooms are fine, they could use updating. There was no fan in our bathroom so the mirror was foggy and humidity lingered but I never questioned the cleanliness of the rooms. There was always someone cleaning and the inside of the hotel was very well maintained. The beach itself made me sad. Such a beautiful place and yet cigarette butts and straws were everywhere. The cabanas were so lovely and then you look down into the white sand and see butts sticking out all over then you take a deep breath and inhale the smoke of the person sitting in their cabana next to you. There are also bottle caps and paper cups left behind. It’s truly disappointing that people are still so selfish and ruin such a paradise. I’d say go for the location and staff and you won’t be disappointed. Drive into town for essential groceries and really do your research for your meals, read reviews. All souvenir shops in the area sell the same items so don’t go crazy searching far and wide .

This was my 3rd visit here in 8 years. Each time has been very different. The entrance is beautiful and the lobby is kept up very nicely. It was renovated maybe 10 years back and hasn't been updated since. It is starting to look a little tired. The interior cleaners are amazing and it is immaculate inside. The exterior could use some work, and the beach sand is dirty and littered with trash. Some raking would help. The location on the beach is the reason we choose this place, because it is the best spot. You are buffered from the wind, and you don't get pelted with sand. The food is always good, but the wait times are fairly long. Definitely do all inclusive, it is worth it. They could use some beach servers that are regularly on the beach. They are no longer doing any shows or buffets, so set your expectations for no entertainment and a quiet night on the resort. They do have some mild live music in the lobby. Overall worth the lower price.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort. The room was clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The hotel's location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. One of the standout features of my stay was the hotel's breakfast buffet. The selection was impressive, with a variety of hot and cold options, including freshly brewed coffee and juice. The dining area was also well-maintained and spacious. Overall, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff's hospitality and the hotel's amenities made for a memorable experience.

Let me start off with the good. The resort has quite a few restaurants to choose from, and the food is simply amazing. The staff here is also very friendly and makes it their aim to make you feel at home. There’s also a nice beach view from the hotel, with plenty of water sports to choose from, and the hotel is placed in a very populous spot of town, so there’s plenty to do Now the bad, the rooms were not worth the price at all. They weren’t terrible per say, but the quality just wasn’t impressive, also the room we stayed in had a faint mildew smell to it. I think if the prices were reduced then my stay here would be even better Lastly, shout out to Eugene the Bell Hop/front door greeter, he made sure to check in on anything we needed during our stay at the holiday inn!

The location was excellent The rooms are dated, smells in the hallway, low toilets. but clean. The grounds are very nice but there is no amenities. The pool closes at 7 pm which is too early. There is no entertainment at he HI so you have to go to other places. Loved Aruba but very very hot. The beach is excellent and beautiful. You can stay literally in the water all day. They do have free big palapas. but the private ones you pay 30 dollars a day. Also the towels at the hotel are clean but dingy and not soft. You get what you pay for. Overall it was a great value and had a great time.

overall had a really nice vacation here! staff is friendly and the resort is gorgeous on the beach with lots of beautiful palm trees, tiki umbrellas, hammocks, and string lights. food was great and would recommend all inclusive. gym is a bit outdated and music from the bar next to the resort is a bit loud late at night. we booked for an ocean view and only got a partial ocean view, but overall had a fun stay!

The hotel was great. We stayed in the middle building with balcony view of the outside court and partial view of the beach. The rooms were clean and hotel was kept pristine and neat. I would stay here again. My only complaint was the natural jacuzzi was not hot enough. Since it is warned up by the sun, was not hot enough for traditional hot tubs. We had massages at the beach which were lovely! The hotel location is perfectly situated where all the restaurants and shops are right across the street.

The location is great however, I would not recommend the Holiday Inn! The buildings are UNSAFE. It rained for 45 minutes and our hotel room as well as the whole 1st and 2nd floor completely flooded. There was mold all over our room. They are also very cheap with giving out towels, you get one per person which does not even cover a full chair. The manager did try to accommodate us with drink vouchers and a credit however, it was exhausting trying to get this.

Great beach, property nice.. Hotel is a nice value, great staff. Front desk very helpful and friendly. Rooms very simple. A little musty smell, but it's tropical. Not bad. Bed comfortable. Shower pressure solid. Clean room.

The property is in a perfect spot for beach, relaxation, food, and easy access to stores, bars, nightlife and just in general. Rooms are fine (could be higher than 3 stars just my own personal choice of how the feel is) but they are your typical Holiday Inn rooms nothing fancy, although if you are coming here for everything else and don't care about how the room looks since you're just sleeping and showering basically there they are perfect. Staff there is helpful and friendly.. Overall I was very happy with this place.

AMAZING STAY. The whole staff at this hotel is like family. I have nothing bad to say. The people on here that have any negative to say I think it is safe to say is because they are looking for their minds to be read or expect absolute perfection or just entitled in life in general. I will be staying here again hopefully soon! Thank you staff at Holiday Inn for making it a dream come true for us!

We were there in late September 21. Service was excellent. Rooms are a little outdated but beds were comfortable. Really only in the room to sleep and shower anyway. Staff was friendly and our 1 issue was addressed immediately. (We had two double beds instead of a king). They changed our room to a king within minutes. The beach is fantastic. We enjoyed it so much we are staying there again in February 2022.. I can't wait! Great job Holiday Inn!

Excellent service. Some very good all inclusive restaurant and bar options. Free towel pass and free parking for guests. Walking distance to a lot of great local restaurants and stores. Resort sits on the beach with several pools and bars. AC broke in our room so they gave us an upgraded room while it was being repaired. The entire area felt safe but they also had plenty of security on site.

Booked an accessible room which was woefully inadequate. Disappointed in IHG. Had issues with the room and they offered us another room which was NOT ACCESSIBLE. Not an option considering my husband is paralyzed. It felt like it was a low quality hotel. Granted, it was built in 1969, but for the volume of foot traffic they certainly have had plenty of time and money to do some upgrades. The food options and food itself was good. You have to pay for a beach chair. My husband hit a huge pothole in the driveway going into the hotel, which threw him out of his wheelchair and the management took 4 days to get back to me. They never fixed the pothole in the 12 days we were there. Nor did they offer to help in any way. Coming from the West Coast and it being a 10 hour flight, i would not return to Aruba. Too many other Caribbean islands that are better with more things to do while there. Pretty disappointing overall!

Great location, nice beach. Rooms dated but adequate. However, my one big complaint that needs to be mentioned and would definitely influence any future stay is loud music until 2am. If you stay in the northern Sea Tower building, incredibly loud music comes from a bar restaurant immediately north of the hotel. Every night. Brutal.

The hotel was in an excellent location.. taxis were always standing by and the bus went by about every 15 or 20 minutes. Many things to do within walking distance. The beach was right outside the back door. The place was really clean, people cleaning all the time, if I come back to Aruba I will stay here again! I give it five stars.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Friendly staffs, excellent breakfast, well organized hospitality and convenient location. Our family of four stayed at holiday inn during thanksgiving week. We eat at the breakfast buffet daily as it’s convenient and had good selections of varieties. The kids enjoyed their pool time from morning till afternoon while alternating between the three different water areas. The adults would hang under cabanas that are located either pool side or beach front, both with easy access to drink stations. While it’s not an all inclusive resort, they still offered good amount of activities and amenities for we to enjoy. After night fall, it’s a very easy walk from the lobby to across the street into local markets or restaurants. From bellmen to front desk, to house keeping, and to restaurants staffs, all are very hospitable and always greeting with an big island smile. We enjoyed every bit during the stay. Will revisit for sure. Special thanks to Mary from house keeping who gone out her way to help return my left behind items back to me with care.

This hotel is poorly made and can’t even withstand a little rain storm without everyone’s hotel room on the first floor and hallways COMPLETELY flooded with 2 inches of water. Multiple things ruined from being wet. We were here for a celebration weekend and it turned into a weekend from hell. There was ZERO accommodation for having our rooms completely flooded. Celine at the front desk has a horrible attitude was very unwelcoming as our rooms were both not ready after check in time.

My recent hotel experience was disappointing. In my opinion it should be shut down for mold and getting people sick. The customer service horrible. They were not understanding how awful of an experience we were having as a bridal party. The front desk was such a hassle every time. After the first night it rained the next morning and our entire room and first floor flooded causing major inconvenience. All of our stuff got soaked. We then noticed mold on all the doorways. They moved us to the 3rd floor (which had an overwhelmingly moldy smell in the hallways) we woke up coughing everyday. So they gave us a low credit considering the circumstances. All we were asking them to do was transfer $79 food fee to the other room that still had a credit so we could use the rest of our credit and they said they couldn’t transfer it to the other room even tho it was on the same card. I'd recommend looking for a different hotel option next time.

The hotel/resort location is perfect. You are within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The hotel itself has 5 restaurants, including 2 outside bar options. The beach is easily accessible, located right outside the hotel. They have three pools as well. There are also shops located inside the resort. The rooms are very standard. Nothing outstanding about the room quality, just a basic room. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming.

Obviously a very popular destination as it's right on the beach. However, it is long overdue for a remodel. Needs rooms updated. Otherwise, we had a good time. Very walkable. Excellent location to area restaurants and things to do along the beach.

This hotel was amazing! The food was amazing! The staff was amazing! My girlfriend left her phone with all our baby's pictures from the first 2 years of his life in the taxi on the way to the airport and didn't realize until the taxi left already. I didn't know any information about what taxi company it was. I had details though that I shared with the Holiday Inn staff though over the phone when we got back to the states. Everyone was so helpful! The bellboy was able to track down the taxi based on my details and retrieve the phone to send back to us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Right on the beach too!

While the rooms had a slight moldy smell, the standout feature of Holiday Inn is its exceptional location. The access to the pool and beach, along with other amenities, truly enhances the stay. I highly recommend indulging in the breakfast buffet priced at $29.99 per person for a delightful dining experience

Great mid level place to stay. Rooms are fine. Staff, however, is great...honestly this might just be Aruba. It really is a happy island. Restaurants are what you expect from a hotel. Good food that won't blow your mind...but will satisfy after a long day at the beach. Palm Beach is awesome if you are looking for a lively beach. The day trips leave from here and lots of water sports are available.

I just got home from my first trip to Aruba. Aruba is a beautiful country with the friendliest natives I’ve ever met. However I would not stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba again. Upon our arrival, we checked into our rooms in the North Tower. The rooms were dirty and totally unkept. The shower was unusable, the smell was unbearable triggering my mother in law’s asthma. I first went down and they moved one of our rooms to a higher floor. We had the same experience in that room as well. Luckily I booked my trip through American Express, so I contacted them to handle the situation. After about a half hour of waiting to hear from American Express they told me the resort will reach out to me again about changing rooms for a second time. The resort did not reach out to me until 7:30 at night. Luckily the two new rooms were clean enough for us to feel comfortable to stay in. By the time we were settled in our room with our two year old it was close to 9 o’clock at night and the whole experience ruined our first nights stay. We were unable to go to one of the restaurants to eat so we had to order room service. Which is not part of the All Inclusive package. They were able to accommodate us with free upgrades which we are grateful for. But I don’t think that enough to bring us back. The only two positives we have is the location of the resort and Hugo at the Oceanside Bar and Grill. The location is perfectly located. The little downtown area is right outside the resort. We spent every night walking around looking at all the shops and restaurants. Hugo at Oceanside was a great waiter. He made sure we were well taken care of everyday.

Absolutely wonderful! The grounds are beautiful; great pools, friendly staff and fabulous food. The beach is gorgeous and everyone is constantly cleaning up outside. Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. Always taxis ready outside. Plenty of shopping and eating just a walk across the street. They can also set you up with tours and have many things to offer at the beach. Downside is pools close at 7pm Alcoholic drink quality was hit and miss great. We were all inclusive; sometimes it seemed some frozen drinks had no alcohol Overall, awesome and will go back!

Overall, it’s a Holiday Inn, wasn’t expecting luxury but the hotel could do better about its appearance (towel bar flew across the bathtub, construction repairs going on in the hallway), noise (placing guests for ocean views near restaurants with loud music past 11pm), and amenities as an “inclusive” resort (drinks, food -not included, pools closed after 7pm, hardly any parking available in their lot, toiletries provided only for 1 person). I do appreciate the service from the staff though (changing our noisy room to a quieter and spacious room with a nice view), this helped make up for some of the experiences and the buffet had good cappuccino, but they should honor the extended breakfast hours versus having our breakfast vouchers go to waste.
