We have stayed at Riu resorts JV the past and this was our best stay yet. The rooms were renovated and very clean, service was great, food was excellent. We ate at the Steakhouse and Crystal and both were restaurant quality dinners. The buffet was good and on par with other hotels. The Palace next door had a lot more action if that is what you are looking for. Their pool always had music and activities going on where the Antillas was a bit lower key. We played beach volleyball every day in the morning and the. At 4pm. The only negative is they are doing construction next door for the next 18 months. They work from 7-5 weekdays. If you are on an even room you have a great view but noise very early. We switched to an odd room and had a limited view but much more relaxing visit. Overall the best Riu visit we have had and highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this adult only all-inclusive resort! It was an absolutely amazing week. We met so many great people and the workers go above and beyond for everyone! The rooms were beautiful and cleaned within hours of leaving to go to the breakfast buffet with spectacular options for breakfast. Lunch daily was also amazing with so many options. Dinner again, was really good with options and if you decide to eat in town also many many options within walking distance of the hotel. So much entertainment daily and a lot to do! I cannot wait to go back!

A little too busy for my taste but It's a beautiful hotel. I would say the only downfall is the beaches are open to the public and the pools are overly crowded however, the water is gorgeous;crystal clear. The food is delicious and the staff are wonderful. It's safe and you can walk the local shops within 10min of the hotel. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves the party scene...

I chose the Riu Palace Antillas for my first-ever visit to Aruba based on its prime location on Palm Beach, along with its Adults-Only, All-Inclusive-24 branding. I could not have had a better time during my stay. All staff were extremely friendly and hospitable and didn't hesitate to assist with any questions or needs. The room was beautiful, clean, and modern with incredible views. All of the restaurants were clean, had great service, and had plenty of options. The bars had excellent service with strong drinks and friendly bartenders. This is a resort I will definitely return to, hopefully in the near future.

We stayed at this resort for our honeymoon and had a great time. We enjoyed the buffet restaurant the most but also ate at the steakhouse and italian restaurants - they were okay but limited menu. We indicated when booking that it was our honeymoon and the front desk claimed we would receive a bottle of champagne and a gift I believe but we never got anything. Kind of a bummer but overall, not the end of the world. We had a great view and although construction was right next door it wasn’t disruptive as we were barely in our room during the day. Also, bar staff was phenomenal!

My husband and i stayed here for our honeymoon, we had a great time atmosphere was good all the employees were very friendly. Rooms and hotel were clean. We didn’t have any complaints about the food we ate. The restaurants were all good just limited menu. The room service menu could use some improvement only like 4 things to pick from. even tho this is right next door to the other resort your not allowed to eat at the other Riu restaurants, every other all inclusive we have stay you were allowed to eat any restaurant connected to multiple resorts. There was days down by the pool where they were playing 2 different songs that was a bummer because u couldn't really hear either one. It was hard finding spots by the pool even had some lady take our chair and throw our towel aside while we went in the ocean. Definitely could use more seating maybe even flags to indicate people are sitting there. We have stayed at other all inclusive so we have something to compare to but definitely worth booking.

A less than 3 minute local phone call from my room $34. I could have used my own phone and paid $.75. The staff were absolutely incredible. The food was good not great. We were told that the steak house could only accommodate so many people because they only alotted so much food for it a day. Unless you get one of them good bartenders, drinks are watered down and weak. They give you about $200 in free play coupons but you can only use one $20 slot play and one $25 table play. So in essence you really only get $45 in free play. There were a lot of small things that bugged me for this to be an all-inclusive Resort. Although we enjoyed the service staff, I would never stay at this resort again.

We enjoyed a girls trip here and were very impressed with the service, the food, and the location. The beach was beautiful. All of the food was delicious! We also liked that it was not a far commute from the airport. The rooms were a bit small and the beds uncomfortable (at least the double beds were) and the activities for night life left much to be desired. Overall a nice, clean, safe resort.

4/4/23 The hotel and views were amazing, Staff, service were absolutely phenomenal, very friendly, and extremely helpful. A++ The star taken away was for the food, F+. Taste was blah, and for an adult all inclusive coming to a Caribbean island to eat hot dogs 🌭 and hamburgers 🍔 is not the move for me. I would prefer authentic island dishes. Breakfast was good, but you can't mess up bacon, eggs, waffles, and pancakes. The location was great, walking distance to shopping, food, and entertainment.

The staff was very attentive to every need that we had. The food was great, the service was excellent and we really liked our room with the ocean view. We can’t wait to come back! This was the best vacation we have had in a very long time! There was always something going on, from aerobics in the pool to music and games that all of the adults enjoyed.

We arrived home last night from our eight day, seven night vacation at the Riu Antilles and I had to take a few moments to write this review. I can only say that this is the fourth time we’ve been there and I have already requested time off for next year. This is the definition of a true vacation. There is nothing you could ask for that is not made available to you. The people who are employed at the resort could not be friendlier or more accommodating. When you leave your vacation and you’re already talking about the reservations for the following year, someone is doing something right. If you’re looking for relaxation, a beautiful beach, a wonderful assortment of food, and just a great place to go with your friends or your family. As long as they’re over 18, this is the place to go. You never have to worry about the weather, and every day it just gets better and better. The rooms are clean, although they are decorated in the minimalistic fashion, how much time are you actually going to spend in the room when you have a beautiful pool and a magnificent beach. I just can’t say enough good things. This is an all inclusive resort with buffet style breakfast and lunch that is wonderful and a choice between specialty restaurants or a multicultural buffet for dinner. Snacks in an all day cafe are available as well as a small room service menu. There is a poolside bar and multiple team members providing drinks to guests poolside as well as fresh fruit. The beach is so convenient and there are people there to assist with chairs. There is a casino right in the hotel, and the sister hotel, the Riu Palace has a casino also. When you check in you were given a list of different things that you can do in this hotel also . Just wanted to share that if you are traveling to Aruba, the Riu is a great choice

We stayed at the hotel from Oct 1-6 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I can honestly say that this was one of the best trips ever. I really enjoyed the drinks, food, and overall atmosphere. Our room was very clean the only reason I didn't give a full five star is because when we went to our room from arrival the key card wasn't activated. We had to go back down to the lobby to get assistance and that isn't what anyone wants to do after a 8 hour trip. Other that that our stay was great and we will be back.

My family and I really enjoyed our 7 night stay at this resort. It was the perfect getaway with easy access to beaches, amazing selection of food and drinks, and hospitable staff. They allowed us to extend our stay on the last day for $20 an hour, which was convenient for us because we had time to pack and eat lunch before our plane ride back to the states. This place truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much Riu. We will be back!

Here for 6 days at the end of September. Overall it was a good trip, but I doubt I'd return. Positives of the trip included housekeeping, ours was very personable and did a great job. Food nothing to complain about, the food was exceptional the last night of our stay, but I believe the reason for increased food quality is that the staff asked all guests to fill out a survey at dinner that night. The big negative of the trip was that myself, my fiancĂŠe, and our travel agent all tried to get in touch with someone from the resort in regards to seeing if we could upgrade the room, but none of us were able to get in touch with someone at the resort, or get any sort of response back.

Very nice all inclusive and all adult resort. The resorts spa service, beach, restaurants, buffets, bars and room was very nice. Enjoyed my time there. There was construction happening next door but it wasn't loud enough to disturb us in our room but on the beach you have to tune it out. It wasn't overbearing or very close.

DO YOUSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY AWAY from this place. This place is at most 3 star. Resort is old looking with some rooms being renovated which honestly is a joke! I could do better job painting the walls and putting tiles in. Also most important Rooms are seriously dirty and the lobby and elevators have never seen a vacuum or mop. Today is my day 4 here and I have yet to see a towel or bed sheet that is not stained. I called 3 times for shower gel which comes in those small bottles and they never brought it and by the 3rd call told me we didn’t bring it because we don’t have any. So you lied and said yes and kept me waiting when you don’t have any??? Whole resort doesn’t have a single bottle?? Cleaning ladies don’t have toilet paper they had to get some from another room. This place is a joke! Have gone to Dominican and Mexico many times and it’s always clean and top notch service. Unfortunately I have 3 more days left here and will never return and will tell anyone I know to stay away! The only good thing about this resort is the food— food is amazing but everything else sucks! Unless you make it to the restaurant by 7 you can’t eat at the restaurants as they are sold out and they don’t do reservations and it’s first come first serve thus your only option after 7 is buffet. Room service is only breakfast and the options are sad and limited. I paid $6300 for 2 people and this is the service and quality of this place and my room is junior suite oceanfront.

Overall the stay in Aruba is beautiful. The resort is in fact nice but there are lots of things you have to be careful of. The steakhouse is typically booked 15 minutes after they open making it nearly impossible to get in. They will also change your room or give you a room that is incorrectly described. We first received a road and building view instead of an ocean view which is what was purchased and described. They were accommodating the next day however they keep trying to insist we could see the ocean from the road view which was not the case. Otherwise the resort is nice and friendly. Don’t expect the best food and beware of the room description. I did hear the Renaissance is very nice, good food and also you can view flamingos at this resort.

We had a reservation at the Hotel Riu Palace Antillas in Aruba this past Sunday, September 17th. We arrived to the hotel and proceeded to check in. We were originally given room 1409 and were told that it was a beautiful view. The room faced backwards from the sea, and was a very small balcony the conditions of the hallways and the room were filthy. The walls had scuffs all over them, and the bathroom had hair left in the shower and all over the floor as well as cracked tiles and dirt throughout the entire room. The hallway floors were covered in filth and papers and crumbs. We immediately went down to Reception to request a different room as we paid for an ocean view. The next room they gave us was room 610, which presented with the same filthy conditions. The bed was partially made like someone had just slept there and the bathroom and balcony were covered in dirt and filth. The view overlooked a Rooftop, covered with old papers and debris. We have stayed at many Riu properties in other countries, and have always been pleased as why we chose this property , we then proceeded to look around the property. The lobby area had dirt on the walls and floors. The bar area was sticky and dirty in the lobby. Next, we proceeded to look around the property, and the pools were covered with slime and things floating in them. All of the furniture throughout the property was worn and old. The lunch Buffet looked in edible people were complaining the food was disgusting and cold. The cleanliness of the property was a dealbreaker for us. We could not even stay there for one night due to the poor conditions of the hotel. We went to customer service and demanded a refund and left the property. I write to you this review of our experience so you are aware of what is taking place throughout this hotel. How very disappointing for the Riu name. We actually brought friends with us as we raved about our experiences at other hotels that we have stayed at. We were completely embarrassed and disgusted at what we saw. I probably would never return to another room hotel after this experience.

I had a great room with a view of ocean front. The room service for breakfast was fast and food was good. The food at all the restaurants was delicious. Except for the lobster at the steakhouse, Tuesday night, was a little over cooked. All the staff were quite pleasant.

I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel in all areas. The staff from the hotel were extremely cordial, helpful and all around wonderful. We enjoyed the restaurants, bars, pool and especially the beach. Jonathan and Brittany among all others stood out at the bars. Everyone always had a smile on their faces. It was the most relaxing vacation I have had in a long time. Can't wait to return

The place is clean and beautiful. Several people in the few negative reviews said they didn’t like the food. We thought most of the food was excellent. Some food is “buffet quality” but we ate at the steak restaurant and found the entire meal to be excellent. The drinks were all refreshing and perfect. The bartenders will do their best to accommodate your wishes. The staff members go out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. We interacted with probably 50 staff members in 5 days and everyone was friendly. There is a hotel being built next door. They make noise but it’s not that bad, at times it’s pretty loud but not consistent all day. It’s not RIU’s fault. It didn’t bother us much. The beach is beautiful and easy to get to. We would definitely use this company again.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, great beach. Pool closes too early. Steakhouse is too slow serving. Two cooks for everyone. Took 2.5 hrs for meal, not worth. Beef is overcooked and tuff. Reatarunts are too small to accomadate the guests. Exetemely loud music. Book activites early.

The hotel is beautiful, constantly someone cleaning, working on things and keeping it updated. The bathrooms in public areas were always clean. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. The house keepers did a wonderful job. The Buffett always looked beautiful and food was delicious. Nighttime activities were fun & entertaining. Music throughout the resort was wonderful! Everything was beyond perfect for our honeymoon!

Riu Antilles is an extraordinary hotel style resort in Aruba. Our stay there was excellent starting from the resort to the staff to the great beach and weather. Everything combined made our time their perfection. In addition to all these things the food and entertainment were second to none. The variety and quality of the food was just amazing and never did we feel disappointed. The only minor issue we experienced was the need to wake up really early to secure a spot under a palm umbrella. Be prepared to wake up or settle for being away from the water. On the bright side this forced us to wake up earlier and enjoy more time on this fantastic resort. Another great part of this resort is its proximity to a main strip full of restaurants and stores to explore as well as a day spent on Orangestad which is full of high end shops and a beautiful port with visiting cruise ships. Needless to say we will be visiting again very soon

BEWARE OCEAN FRONT ROOM PEOPLE: There is construction happening directly across this hotel. If you are paying for an ocean view - think again. You will be able to hear forklifts operating and it takes a bit of the specialness away if you ask me. The service here is great the workers are very nice. Here’s a tip to save you a lot of time. Look at the menus of these restaurants - they have about 4 selections for main course. ROOM DINING: the room service offers only nachos, sandwiches, and a Cesar salad. You will laugh at the size of the salad (maybe I’m just a dumb American). Overall lack of food options in my opinion. The location is great - super safe. You can score some ganja here pretty easily which is great. Overall not worth all the money for sub par food. May be worth it if you drink a lot though.

My husband and I spent a week here in September on our honeymoon and we had such an incredible experience! Our room was lovely and spacious + our view was beautiful! The food was delicious, we especially loved the steak house. But the BEST part of our entire trip, was the service! Every employee we encountered was nothing short of amazing. Friendly, helpful, kind, and always smiling. It truly MADE our trip. Every person was so wonderful and accommodating. We will 100% be back!!! Special shout out to Carlos!

My stay here started off pretty rocky. Check in was easy. I booked an ocean view. When I received the key for my room I had a view of the top of the adjacent building. When I went back to the lobby I was told there was no rooms available but tomorrow they could put me in another room. We had to clear out the room by 8am in the morning and we didn’t get back into another room until after 4pm. It took 4 room switches to finally get it right. One room in particular was absolutely disgusting. The floor was dirty, the walls were scuffed and it smelled weird. I couldn’t believe they would put a paying guest in a room like that. I finally received a decent room that I was comfortable in. Outside of my horrific room experience, the rest of the vacation went smoothly. The service was great and the food excellent. The nightly entertainment could use some work.

Was not the greatest experience. The biggest frustration is the fact that all the restaurants are always full. We lined up 20 min before it opened and still had to wait two hours. People coming out of the pool are getting in line, clearly in no position to eat. Overall the food is mediocre and the service is slow. If it were faster, they’d turn the tables and the waits would not be so long. The pool is very loud and crowded. It’s impossible to get a chair. People put towels down at 7am and go back to bed. The staff is friendly but we’ve stayed at much nicer and better all inclusive in the Dominican and Mexico for example. Would not recommend

While the hotel is attractive and the rooms are nice, it is too crowded and apparently is unable to accommodate the large number of guests the book. If you plan to come here, you better pack your own chair or chaise lounge as there aren't enough to go around at the pool and beach areas. Other than the buffet room, there are long reservation lines for the other restaurants. I was anxious to book here since I had a wonderful experience a few years back at their palace peninsula in Cancun which frankly was a better resort.

My husband and I went in the middle of November and we were so pleased. Service was incredible and staff was very friendly. We were on the 17 floor and our room was very clean. We did see construction going on, but we didn’t mind it at all, we even liked people watching sometimes. Restaurants were great, but we also loooved the buffet because of the great selection of food. My favorite part was the fresh squeezed juices for breakfast everyday. Also, our beach was very clean. No seaweed, crystal blue.

Good location but wouldn’t recommend. The adults-only hotel was the lure for me. However, the food isn’t good at the hotel and Aruba has a great food scene. Also the drinks are way watered down so can’t recommend. I was in room 534 and the view was a sliver of the ocean and the parking lot and ongoing construction of the hotel next door.

  • 4/5 Hop K. 4 months ago on Google
Pros: good food, quiet, no noisy kids since it's for adults only, walking distance from butterfly farm, fine white sand in the beach, clean. Cons- limited towels, super small pillows, 2 beds brought together equals king bed. No resort hotel slippers. Old fashioned card keys. Could have been better.

My husband & I had our honeymoon here and it was an absolute dream. The weather is absolutely amazing, & we always had availability at the pool and at dinner. We loved meeting alejandro who was the PR here. He ensured we felt welcomed and had champagne waiting for us in our room to celebrate our honeymoon. There were so many things you can do here & the food each day was different which we enjoyed so much. We’re already planning our next trip here!!!

We intentionally booked a junior suite and contacted the property before to make sure we booked the correct room as we did not want the villa suite. Upon arrival, we were asked if we were celebrating anything (a bday) they said they would give us a complimentary upgrade, but if we didn't like it, to come back. They really talked it up and made it sound like they were taking care of us. We checked it out & sure enough it was one of the villas that we did not want. We immediately went back to the front desk where they told us they upgraded us because the room we booked is not available. They did not offer any sort of voucher, refund, nothing. We spent the night in that room, which would have been fine. However, it was wet, musty, & overall disgusting. The room was poorly maintained, not clean, and the bedding felt wet to the touch because of how musty it was. We couldn't get comfortable or unpack. They did change our room the next day, but it was not a good start. Now for a regular review on the property: Riu is at the beginning of the strip, great location with surrounding bars/shops. The beach is beautiful and the attendants are happy to set you up. The property is in need of renovations and maintenance clearly cuts corners. There is a hotel being built next door, but the noise did not bother us like it did other reviewers. Buffet options for breakfast & lunch were great and the food was delicious. We did eat dinner out every night to see the strip and try local restaurants. Resort is lively with music and events, so if you're looking for a quiet retreat, this resort is not for you. The room they put us in the second night was good, it was what we originally booked and was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly from the bartenders, to the cleaners, and everyone in between. They try to make your stay enjoyable.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever been to. The staff are courteous and will do just about anything you ask, the resort is clean and updated and its set up so that if you want to relax, you can. Otherwise if you want to get a little loud, you can do that too.... so long as its quiet by 11. 😂

Very needed holiday after a hectic and stressful 2022. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our original “ocean view junior suite” was anything but that. Had to return to the front desk and request the room we paid for. The buffet meals were surprisingly good. Good luck getting a cab if you have plans off site. One driver we had drove recklessly and proceeded to tell us how he alluded the local police and was extremely rude. However, we did have an impromptu ride from an off road tour guide who was above and beyond wonderful. The mattress was very firm as were the pillows which were also very small. Room service consists of a continental breakfast.

Had such a great experience here! The staff were so welcoming and attentive. The food and drinks were great. There is a family resort and an adults resort we had access to both. There were a ton of activities to do. Will definitely be returning.

The minute we arrived, we were greeted and handed a glass of champagne. We were escorted to our beautiful and clean room and our luggage was already there. The staff is exceptional and cater to your every need. They are constantly cleaning and are always happy and helpful. I cant say enough about this place. It was fantastic and cant wait to go again.

I've gone to an island every year for the past 20 years and I haven't seen such a great establishment. We came for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. 5⭐️ cleanliness. By far the cleanest resort I have yet been to. There are people cleaning 24/7. From cleaning between couches, to mopping the outside patio, rooms were cleaned everyday perfectly 5⭐️ hospitality. Everyone there is ALWAYS smiling . So friendly, and fun! 5⭐️ food: whether it was the buffet or the krystal restaurant we have not had an OKAY meal... we've had beyond our expectation meals. Every bite was absolutely amazing 5⭐️ entertainment. It was so much fun, everyday was something different , and it's not 24/7 which I love. You can enjoy the beach and pool peacefully, but also enjoy the entertainment by the pool and beach when they're there. 5⭐️ bar drinks. Amazing, you tell them what you like and they will make it for you or find something that you'll like even better.

When I tell you this place was nothing short of amazing I mean it. The people were awesome. The workers the tourists the locals just everyone. Our room was cleaned nicely daily, our fridge stocked daily and the housekeepers were the best. My guy Freddy at the lobby bar was just everything. His personality was a breath of fresh air. I can say we definitely need more people like him. Keep it up Riu Antillas we'll be back!!!

The room I stayed in was a nice size and clean. Although my itinerary said Ocean View this was a partial ocean view. I love the mini bar area. The pool area is nice and is always popping. The food is good and the staff is nice. I gave this resort a four star for a couple reasons, first the one towel distribution for the pool/beach area is unheard of, second, the liquor selection is not that great and third, there didn’t seem to be a lot of entertainment on site. Although I rated this resort a four I would come back again.

My wife and I honeymooned here. We did all inclusive. The rooms are spacious. Bar is stocked with premium liquor. Had a seventh floor view on the south side. We loved the food. Service was first class. We will definitely be back.

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon and highly recommend. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite and were greeted with champagne and a gift in our room - which was larger than half the apartments I've lived in. The food was great in all the restaurants. Staff was friendly. Location is fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Aruba. The view is heavenly! I’ve stayed here many times, only resort I’ve stay since I started visiting the island. Great restaurant are really good the food is delicious, please try the steak house! They alternate nights for the steakhouse no reservations but the line start early be prepared. Shout to the staff! Wonderful people! I give it a four only because our last visit the hotel was under construction, the hotel did accommodate us the best they can, but unfortunately the construction noise and dust was too much. Other than that I would have given it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I will update on my next visit.

Moved from our first room, construction view, walls all scuffed up. Move to a lower tier with no compensation. Requested housekeeping due to choppywater tossing us around and bringing in more sand than we thought we had on us and was informed that once the room is cleaned, they don't return unless it's to clean throw up. Thankfully, they did come in and cleaned it for us. Great housekeeping staff and supervisor, they do go above and beyond. Overall, we did have a good time, it is was you make it

After reading many MANY reviews, I was quite skeptical to stay at Riu Antillas. I was concerned about the construction noise, too many people, getting the wrong room, etc. HOWEVER, we are here right now (June 5) peak season and it couldn’t be better!!!! Our room is clean, the music is perfect (not too loud, not inappropriate as many have said) and the pool/beach area is great. We get up everyday and bring our towels down to the pool at 645, right before breakfast and there are hardly any people out or that have already reserved chairs (others said you have to get up at 5/6 am to do this and that is not true!!!) Every morning starting before sunrise the pool area is being cleaned. Every single day. The entire staff is nice and very accommodating. Some days there are games at the pool and some days not but regardless it is a great atmosphere. Very relaxing. Atlantis is by far the best place to eat as it has the greatest variety of food and the food is great! The Steakhouse wasn’t worth the wait in the hot sun for a table but the ceasar salad and crab cakes were wonderful. Construction is happening next door but it is not intrusive as many have said. You barely notice it going on. I highly recommend snorkeling with Palm Pleasure also. Great experience the entire 4 hours. As an extremely picky person, I 100% recommend Riu Antillas as a resort to visit! We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!!! Thank you Riu!

Had a wonderful weekend here. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are very bright and fresh. The staff were lovely and all very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, on the beach and also a nice walk into town. Food was outstanding. Would come back without hesitation and highly recommend to anyone.

I stayed in a recently renovated ocean front room. Beautiful view. The staff was friendly and attentive to your needs. I enjoyed the pool activities. However, I spent most of my day relaxing and swimming in the ocean. Very short walk to paradise.

My husband and I chose this resort to celebrate our honeymoon and were, unfortunately, highly disappointed. I sent an email prior to our arrival letting the staff know that we were celebrating our honeymoon and a honeymoon package was to be part of our stay. When I arrived, I reminded them that we were celebrating again. We did not even receive a complimentary mint on our pillows to congratulate us let alone the package that we were supposed to receive and the main reason I chose this resort. It is my first time at a RIU and definitely my last. They do not take reservations for dinner so you never know where you'll end up eating for the night. We lined up like cattle in the blazing hot sun one night waiting for the steakhouse dinner and thankfully made it to the last seat. The few couples behind us were turned away. I paid for all inclusive but was rejected when I requested for 3 pieces of shrimp to be added to my one measly lobster tail dinner and of course my husband was not allowed to switch his shrimp for lobster for the surf and turf. The lobster tail barely had any meat and was served with veggies and a corn on the cob. This was our fancy steakhouse dinner. There is a frosted wall between the bathroom and bedroom which was the most annoying thing in the world as the bed is right next to the wall. Whenever my husband or I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light shines right in your face. It would be nice to add a cover/curtain option for those who do not care for that feature. The pillows were the smallest and most uncomfortable pillows i've ever laid my head on - neck pain was a huge issue for both of us. We vacation 3 times per year and have been to multiple all inclusives. This was by far the most underwhelming experience where we were turned away from everything we asked. There is no pool entertainment. This was an adults-only "party" resort without the party. The larger pool doesn't even have music. You have to beg and bribe to use the volleyball when the entertainers are not there. The foam party is nonexistent - it is a 5 minute balloon fight. Gift shops do not charge to the room. Went to grab sunscreen - had to go all the way to 18th floor to grab our credit card and come back down. The seaview i paid for was mostly of construction. We dedicated 7 nights - 8 days here and it was just a waste to use it at this resort especially at the all inclusive cost. Our honeymoon was made memorable by wesley the dj and the 2 other volleyball players who kept engaging with us all week and tried his best to play music we liked so that we could feel special. Thankfully, the resort is located within walking distance of the resort. We had all of our meals outside of the resort and made the best of the days that we were in the pool. Aruba is a beautiful island and we do not regret choosing the island for our honeymoon - just regret choosing this resort and even more paying for all inclusive and not receiving the benefits. We don't expect much - good food, good music, and just a celebratory acknowledgment. A slice of the 2 inch cake from the buffet and a happy honeymoon card would have suffice. There are some kind people working here - I pray that they are being treated well and paid well. I hope management invests in the updates and especially in the entertainment activities for the pool. No need to study the history of Aruba nor flag colors - none of that was needed here since there are no games/activities. Please do better. Looking forward to our honeymoon redo in a few weeks and hope it's a much better experience.

We stayed Sept 23 thru the 27, the room and view was amazing, stayed in room 1610. check in was easy the bellman Jolly was very friendly, he gave us a tour of are room. we were there to celebrate birthday and they had the room decorated for us without us telling that was very nice. enjoyed sitting by the pool the bar service was amazing I can't remember the young ladies name but she was awesome. I love the fact that we were able to schedule the island tour right from the hotel and was actual cheaper than pre booking, and it included lunch. my only complaint is that we were not please with the food breakfast was fine not so much lunch and dinner we found ourselves walking to local restaurants for dinner, we understand that you have to cook for the mass so you can't really season the food. entertainment was ok me personally I liked to sit in the bar area in the lobby and people watch sipping on my Miami Vice. over all we had a wonderful time and will come back again. oh and as far as the construction it was not a bother.

My husband and I spent time here in December 2023 and we couldn’t be more pleased! We had the best room in the house and the service was incredible! There was always something to do, the swim up bar was amazing, steps from the beach, dinner with a sunset. There was literally nothing for us to worry about while staying here. We would definitely stay here again!
