Read before booking!!!!This was our second stay at this hotel and it was night and day, our first stay was awesome, this last stay was terrible!!! Mold in the showers, the girls at the desk didn't seen too know what they were doing. We booked an excursion for 5 people and the lady at the desk only booked it for four, so when they came to get us it was a problem, we ended up canceling the tour because of her mistake. Then the manager Jennifer tells me the girl took our deposit money home so we had to wait for her to come in on Friday, then she calls me in the room not 10 minutes later to tell me it's non refundable because it's her word against mine that she screwed up!!! So I was out $106 dollars!! I don't know if this place is under new management or what but I will never stay here again!!! This really dampened our mood for vacation, very disappointed with the unprofessional way this was handled.

Ok let's start by saying this is a hidden gem( not really hidden at all) only a 5min drive from the airport, the room my wife & I stayed in was at the end (closest to the street) and yes its loud across the street in the evening, but didn't last all night and didn't bother us at all ! But the service, food, location, and VERY VERY relaxing vibe and feel ! A beach is across the street and TOTT (Talk of The Town) has umbrellas and beach chairs for u to use 😉.. the pool and hotub is very clean and intimate., wife and I usually stay at resorts, but decided on just a Boutique hotel this time and this lovely place did NOT disappoint! We stayed in a room (rooms) that has a little kitchenette, 2 closets, living room, king bed , bathroom of course and an outside back patio, that's kinda private... we love our stay here and will DEFINITELY stay here again when we come to Aruba again ! Thank you TOTT ! 😊 you made our stay a wonderful week !

The hotel is quite good. The service is great. No charges for parking. The food is nice, although the breakfast choices are quite limited. They have opened a laundry facility where for 5 Florin you get 1 piece washed and dry. They don’t have gym. Internet is good and air conditioner is great.

Beautiful hotel to stay in! There is a very nice pool to swim in and there are two hot tubs to relax in. The ladies at the front desk are super sweet and helpful. The cleaning ladies are very nice as well. This location is close to the downtown area and across the street there are bars and cafes. There is also a beautiful beach to enjoy. Along the beach you will find two great restaurants. This particular hotel is perfect for anyone who loves to party because across the street there is always a huge party going on. Parties get bigger and louder on the weekends. If you love the nightlife this hotel is for you.

The staff here was very attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel in my opinion is perfect. There is several restaurants, bars and an ice cream parlor right in front of the hotel. When we needed a taxi the hotel called us a taxi driver who was amazing & was our taxi driver the whole stay. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. They don’t clean the rooms daily and that’s understandable but they should clean the hallways daily as everyone passes by them and they do not it seems like because we have seen the same stains for a couple days.

Great location for Carnival parade! Not many restaurants around otherwise, but a nice 20 minute stroll to downtown, and very close to beach. I’d stay there again.

Great hotel very cute and small. If you stay here definitely rent a car from the office at the front desk. They have the greatest deals and they will drive you to the airport once your trip is over.

Make sure you bring your ear plugs if you intend to sleep, the hotel is located across a very loud bar and the horrible music will keep you up for most of the night, it would be a good idea to bring your own pillows too, the service at the restaurant bar is good but don't count on the front desk to assist you in getting a taxi, I missed a flight to Curacao because of them! Aruba is gorgeous and you should visit. Stay here specially if sleep is low on you priority list.

Frontdesk 0 stars a couples of amateurs, all of them. Jose Luis (barman) doing a great job and ofcourse the housekeeping. Never and never again, shame on them.

Do not stay here unless you need to. We were placed here because of a missed flight. The hotel was kind enough to have a buffet for us passengers who missed our flights, which were many. The staff were nice, that's why they are getting a 2 instead of a 1. The noise from across the way is loud and vibrates in the room to the wee hour of the morning. The rooms are dated and I am sure if I looked harder in the room to see if it was clean, I would have left. Save yourself and do not stay here.

Reasonable rate and spacious rooms with surprisingly effective air conditioning (great for the hot summer conditions), but definitely a bit dated, crusty and could use updates. Overall weird vibe across the property (kind of like Breaking Bad). Front desk was friendly but unhelpful. No welcome booklet, property map, or anything. Also, had to carry our luggage up the steps to the second floor as there is no elevator. We went to Reflexions beach club across the street and were pleasantly surprised to find out we get free chairs at the beach as hotel guests or else would have been charged $20 as walk ups…would’ve been helpful for us to know that a partnership exists from the front desk upon arrival. Also, frustrating to hear a $200 refundable deposit is required to charge anything to the room…even $4 water bottle…doesn’t make a lot of sense and haven’t seen that anywhere else on the island, especially when credit card is already on file. Somewhat sketchy location, but decent amenities - ok pool, hot tub isn’t hot though. Lot of potential in this property, but not my cup of tea in current state. Lastly, it’s no wonder they struggle with customer experience, upon check out they offered us to fill out a paper survey to rate our experience. Perhaps an online survey would be more effective. Likely wouldn’t stay here again…would much rather pay the extra $100 a night to stay at the Renaissance wind creek down the street.

American Airlines left my husband and I trapped in Aruba on her honeymoon. After a great tremendous amount of stress and frustration, not having a place to go we found this place by a local who recommended that we look into it when we arrived the man that greeted us was above and beyond accommodating we had a very frustrating, travel day being stuck in Aruba for an extra day not knowing anyone not knowing the area, and not knowing where to go, the hotel was pleasantly clean. The staff was extremely friendly. Who is close to walking distance of an amazing food, truck and many things to do we were very pleased. We had spent entire week at a very upscale hotel, and the room was not clean Nor was the bed or pillows or shower even halfway as comfortable as this particular hotel. Should we return to Aruba we would be staying at this hotel next time. Would highly recommend.

Close to the airport. Quiet beach just crossing the street, with some restaurants. Closer to some attractions like Palm Island, baby beach, Arikok park. Walking distance from the downtown area. Nice pool and quiet place.

They need to step up there breakfast for the price they charge you , WiFi won’t work when I’m in the bathroom area I stayed in the furthest room when that happened 101 maybe that’s why, pool looked a bit murky maybe people not showing first, and AC wasn’t always responsive with the cop settings , besides that place was ok for price and a amazing beach across the road calm and clear great for swimming and going out far

I booked this hotel thru my discount website I arrived there and they said the pricing was wrong and charged me more they should of mentioned this online. 4 other guest had the same issue. Rooms are dirty please check sheets before you book

The pool courtyard area is very nice and relaxing. Good location as there is a beautiful beach across the way. On the other hand the room was extremely too cold, it had a smell of mildew, & the bathroom had minimal traces of black mold. The bed was not very comfortable for two persons.

I loved staying at TOTT. The service was great, room was nice and clean everyday, and comes at a good price. There are good restaurants right across the street where the beach is, and it’s close to the airport! The Renaissance area and Royal Plaza Mall are walkable from the hotel. The bars across the street may be a little noisy on the weekends, but I still think it’s minimal noise and worth the stay.

If I could leave no star I would. First off my bed had hair all over my sheets. They do not provide bar soap or wash clothes. Also very dirty. They took a copy of our passports not sure why they did that... get to upgraded room there was a very unpleasant smell in it. And still hair on covers. Worst place to stay here. I haven’t stayed at room at all. My last night I’m trying to stay so I wouldn’t feel like I waisted my money. I’m currently looking for a room to book. Dirty. The little store inside room over priced. Itchy smelly dirty place. Do not book.

The worst hotel in Aruba. I stayed there 1 day and i paid an additional 100 and i have yet been refunded my 100.00. I hate this hotel if you ever in Aruba and you need a place to stay i recommend you renting a beach chair and sleep on the beach this hotel is horrible.

Very close to the airport, beach, Surfside restaurant, Barefoot restaurant, and a 20-minute walk to West Deck restaurant and downtown. We stayed in room 403. The room was nice, spacious, but modest, with a bit of a musty smell. Room 403 has a very small kitchenette with a small sink, microwave, countertop stove burners, bar-size fridge, small dining table, and 4 chairs. The couch was relatively comfortable to relax and watch TV. Our private outdoor patio/courtyard was a lovely and unexpected bonus. We enjoyed our morning tea out in our private outdoor space. We were more than aware of the noise issues from the many reviews we read before booking. We wanted to experience the downtown VIBE and stayed for just 2 nights (Thurs & Fri) before heading to our timeshare. Thursday night was relatively quiet, with only noise from nearby traffic and screaming and laughter from the occasional passing party bus. Friday night was much noisier with very loud music from the 2 beach bars directly across the road on the beach. The room actually vibrated from the very loud bass, which went on until 1:00 or 2:00am. We didn't complain but chatted with the front desk staff, and their comment was, "If you think Friday night's music was loud, wait until Saturday night!" If you enjoy the night life, this is the place to be! We didn't get a chance to try out the pool, but despite the loud nighttime music, we may come back again (for a day or two) simply for the proximity to the airport, beach restaurants and walkability to downtown.

Just checked in and love this hotel, yes it is a busy location but you know this because it's a convenient location. Great pool and atmosphere, great 👍 price and I will be back. You don't need to over pay in Aruba to get a great experience.

Close to the airport and walking distance to the beach. Standard room with bar fridge and microwave. Door that opens up to the pool area. Holiday resort energy with big entertainment area near the pool and restaurant. Friendly and attentive service.

12/29/23--01/04/24 Enjoyed Aruba, but would NOT stay at Talk Of The Town again. My impression of this hotel is that the owner(s) are doing the bare minimum to keep it going. The staff is okay. Pleasant and helpful. The website states 'Adults Only.' THAT IS A BIG FAT NOOOO!!! The one-person staff that works the open area Restaurant/Bar, also works in the regular restaurant, and services the people around the pool. But since most ppl on vacation are in a relaxed and non-rushed mood, it's fine to wait for the employee. The hotel's linen and towels need to be replaced, especially the bed linen. It's cheap. The pillows are old and flimsy, the towels (in room 204) could have used some fabric softener. I observed other rooms, and the linen and pillows look the same. I didn't use the pool b/c it was dirty with mostly beach sand, but it was cleaned on my 3rd [of 5] nights. My biggest disappointment with TOTT hotel were the jacuzzies. The water was air temperature: They are NOT heated. And finally, this part is not a complaint re the hotel: If you're looking for a quiet, serene, sit-and-read spot for vacation, know that there are 3-4 bars across the street, with a parking lot that's used by the local [?youths] to show off their vehicle screeches, .spins and engine power. !!!!

“PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING” Room condition is extremely dirty and smelly. Staffs were ridiculously rude and arrogant except one person, young lady, who took care of our family. Truly appreciated to that person. Even found a roach in our room. Worst of the worst was the unhelpful staffs except that one person. Never ever would want to revisit this filthy location again.

Amazing experience with the TOTT very friendly staff, good ambience, refreshing feel everywhere, there is no such thing that you complain about food or any other things, nearby beaches, casinos, good street shops everything in walkable distance... had a good stay with TOTT hopefully see you very soon

Very simple hotel and accommodations. Nice pool area and staff are helpful and friendly. The bar opens and closes at random times and doesn’t stay open late (closes at 5). The convenience store is very expensive and also has weird hours. There is no restaurant on site and the breakfast is pretty weird. The hot tubs are not hot and staff does not help with bags. Rooms were nice and clean. The hotel is very close to the airport and a 30 minute walk from the downtown area. The best thing about the hotel is the restaurant at the beach across the street; 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurant. The staff was very friendly, but I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s very affordable but it’s not worth the risk.

Good value for the price. Minutes from the airport, so of course you can hear the planes during the day. There are no flights at night, however, so it's still very peaceful. Beach is across a busy street and parking lot, but there's a well-marked crosswalk. Reflections, the beach bar that partners with TOTT, is a local favorite with strong drinks, good food, and very good prices for Aruba. You can get tokens for free beach chairs from the hotel front desk. The pool area is well-maintained and well-used but never crowded during our stay. The front desk staff were very helpful with planning and booking activities on the island. There's a small convenience store and car rental stand on site. The bar in the hotel proper is pretty limited, but Reflections is a very short walk away. It's easily within walking distance of several shopping areas and amazing restaurants (check out El Gauchos for sure!). Much quieter than the big resorts and a bit far from the main beaches ($20 USD cab ride to Palm Beach) but overall a very pleasant stay.

It's a great place to stay in Aruba. The main reason to come back here is their staff, I think that all their team really effort to make feel comfortable guests. I'll come back here.

Room was updated and clean. Staff was very willing to help. Jen ,the manager, was especially helpful with finding a church in the area. Karyn was so nice at breakfast every morning. There are 2 excellent restaurants across the street on the water - Barefoot and Pinchos. You can see a beautiful sunset from both of them. Also, the Aruba tourist information office was just a block away. I would recommend this resort.

The hotel staff and location were great. Just be warned. Every night you will hear very loud music from the bars across the street. This would normally be okay except for the motorcycles and cars that rev up their engines every 10 minutes. I've been to drag strips. This was just as loud. Redlining and backfiring. These are modified cars/bikes you would see or hear at shows or events. Ear plugs, headphones, white noise can not mask how loud this is. It was honestly unbelievable. This place was great, but I have no idea how they are surviving except for the fact that people see the prices without seeing the reviews. I made that mistake unfortunately. Only stay here if you plan to be in bed by 1-2 on weekdays or 3-4 on weekends including Sunday night. Sunday night was the loudest by the way.

The pool here is gorgeous! Rooms could use some updating our toilet had like no water pressure, another negative is it is super loud, we heard loud music, cars honking, people shouting outside all hours of the night. Definitely not the hotels fault it's just the location a lot of bars across the street, we only stayed 1 night but did not get good sleep due to the noise

  • 3/5 Oliver L. 2 years ago on Google
Staff was great. But as for the room; It was barely ok. It was noisy, the A/C kept resetting the temperature twice a day. Light on the room was insufficient. Next time I go to Aruba I will try something else.

Rooms are comfortable but there are a few flaws with the place. (1) there should be at least one or two chairs inside the room. Otherwise you spend your whole time on the bed. (2) only one accessible umbrella around the pool. They claim that the other umbrellas broke due to wind. Still need to invest in them. (3) Some of the concierge knew more than others when it came to making recommendations. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice. Location is close to airport but it is never too loud with jets coming in. Also 1 mile from the market. You can walk or cab it from there. The buffet breakfast is decent but a little pricy in my opinion. The swimming pool is great and the hotel is just a few blocks walk so it is very convenient. I would come back regardless because it was nice overall and I don't care for the huge franchise hotels

  • 3/5 Dana K. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is nice, clean, facilities great. Breakfasts are valuable, a wide selection and very helpful staff. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the beach. What we agreed on was. The hotel was not very busy, no crowd. There was communication between the reception and the cleaning platoon. At the reception they refused to extend their stay in our suite for only one person, for another separate room they wanted the full price. It is possible to get accommodation for a much better price and in a nicer hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rent a car, rent for one day is $ 40. He wanted a taxi for $ 20 from the hotel to the airport (2 km).

DO NOT STAY HERE! The biggest reason is because there is a late night dance club across the street that starts playing extremely loud bass thumping music around 9pm and it doesn’t stop until around 2am! We were at this hotel for a week and complained to the front desk each night begging them to do something about it so we could get some sleep. They say they have called the police each time on the noise but nothing was ever done about it and it made our hotel stay miserable. The hotel rooms themselves are very old and outdated and they make it seem in there pictures that the beach is literally in their back door but it is NOT! You have to cross a very busy highway and walk about two blocks to get to the beach closest to the hotel. Oh and our AC went out during the night and was out until the next night- It’s real hard to sleep between the room being almost 80 degrees and the rave party going on outside. There are literally hundreds of other places to stay besides this hotel- I promise you that you need to pick any of these places besides here

This hotel is just ok. It's a bit dated and expensive for what you get. Don't waste your money on the breakfast. It is in a good location, convenient to everything

Nice place but the service was not good. Made us upgrade for no reason when we were fine with our original room.. the suite had bugs and ants in there so we could only stay in the bedrooms. When it was time to leave, we ask for a big taxi (van) for me and my family (6 people plus luggage). Instead of a van, they called a small taxi cab.. my wife had to call a taxi company to provide us with a van taxi. I love Aruba. Thankfully this wasn’t our first stay in Aruba...
