We have a timeshare here at La Cabana and it’s like a home away from home. The location is great, the beach is just a short walk across the street (many activities to do on Eagle Beach, HIGHLY recommend tubing) and there are many restaurants in walking distance nearby. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. new updated furniture has been added pretty recently in the rooms (new beds, couches, tables) Each room has a small kitchenette if you prefer to make meals (which also has a dishwasher and fridge and freezer). The service is also great. Bed was made and towels were replaced pretty much everyday. Every worker is so kind and helpful. Not to mention happy hour is 3 times a day every day and the nightlife and day life is so much fun. although there is some construction going on, it’s hardly in the way and the new additions will be very nice. i highly recommend this amazing place!

We are heading back in 2 weeks for a second time. I love the size of La Cabana, not too huge but big enough to have space of you need it. The beach is close and has chair and shade. The beach is stunning and whilst we were there not busy at all. We love the grocery store literally a five minute walk that has everything you would need. We ate the pizza place once and it was good, and had burgers from the grill side restaurant. Happy hour each day is wonderful. The unit we had was a studio which was great for the two of us, we ate breakfast and most lunches in the unit and went out at night. La Cabana also has BBQ's scattered throughout.

Excellent experience. Only complaint we had was the constant smell of sewage while outside around the pool and beach. Smelled like a septic tank overflowed or water treatment plant nearby. But staff was nice rooms clean and not musty. Any issue we had with the room was immediately addressed by the staff. Would recommend!

My partner and I stayed at La Cabana last year and we had a great experience. This year we decided to stay at Eagle Aruba Resort and Casino which is across the walkway from La Cabana. I brought my two Maltese (small 7lbs) service dogs on this trip. On one of the first days of arrival of the current trip, my partner and I walked through the lobby and pool area of La Cabana with our service dogs and there were no issues. However, two days ago my partner and I were going to speak to someone at the car rental desk located within the lobby of La Cabana and were stopped by security at the entrance of the building and told no pets allowed. I calmly explained my dogs were in fact service dogs and not pets. We were asked to wait a minute while I assumed security was checking in with management. After what seemed like 5 minutes of standing outside with no word or update from security, I proceeded to walk inside the lobby and speak to another employee and explain the situation, as well as the purpose of me being on the premise. At one point the bellhop suggested I walk around the building if I didn't want to wait. I again explained that I wanted to get information about a car rental that was located in the lobby, not on the side or back of the resort. The employee, with reservations, allowed me and my partner to proceed to the rental car desk. This experience wasn't positive at all and added unnecessary stress. It makes me consider whether I would stay at an establishment that cannot accommodate service animals and begs the question of whether this establishment is welcoming and inclusive to all.

Overall, the resort was nice, but the room was smaller than expected and dated. The pool and proximity to the beach was perfect. For those who like to save a bit and cook some of the meals themselves, the grocery store was less than an 8 minute walk. The casino was small and only 3 table games but an adequate number of slot machines. Check-in and check out was simple, and the fact that there was an on-site car rental was amazing and very affordable for the daily rate.

We have stayed here twice. The location is great and it is right across the street from Eagle Beach. We were there during busy season so it wasn't easy to get a palapa, unless you are a die hard and get out onto the beach before 7 am. For me, I'm on vacation and I'm surely not setting an alarm to get a palapa. There are many restaurants in walking distance and a large grocery store that you can walk to as well. They also had several places to eat on site as well as a small casino. The pool area is nice, they had a kiddie pool, an adults pool and a main pool. Happy hour each day was fun and it definitely gets busy and lively. We didn't take advantage, but they have various activities each day. Although we did not bring ours on this trip, this resort would be a good place to bring kids and we will definitely be bringing ours back next time. We loved our stay here and would likely only stay here or at Eagle Aruba right behind this resort.

My wife and I spent time at La Cabana Beach Resort with 2 of our co-workers. This was a new experience for us as we have never left the country and I will ensure you that the resort gave us a treat. The resort was extremely clean with some of the most polite employs we have ever met in our life. We spent an entire week at this restaurant/resort and enjoyed every aspect they had to offer. The concierge service had more than enough events that you can schedule directly through them to occupy our time for the week that we were here. They've got wind surfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, fishing, restaurants island tours, really anything you can think of. They even have a wooden pirate ship that you can go out into the ocean on drink some alcohol in swing off a rope swing. It doesn't get much better than that period I must say the scuba diving at the different ship wreck locations is classified as some of the best scuba locations in the entire world. It was a life changing experience for my wife and I.

This was our first time coming here and will not be our last! The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean, efficient and the location of the resort has the beach within a few feet. Plenty of activities from drinking to swimming! Each morning the daily events are announced and there is plenty of opportunities for jamming up your schedule! The Glitz casino has quite the selection of slots and four table games. We look forward to considering Timeshare options as the temperature, no matter what time of year, is 82 in the daytime and 76 at night. There are plenty of food options and the location of the resort is within walking distance of the supermarket.

Great resort for families. The resort is located in a quiet area of the island, away from the shopping and heavy traffic area. They have a lot of activities for families with children, also security is always visible around the pool ensuring that everyone is safe. One issue I experienced though was with a timeshare "owner" hoarding lounge chairs around the pool, claiming they had saved them. The resort needs to have a clear policy on how many chairs people can have to avoid confrontation between guests. The timeshare "owner" actually said to me "that's why we don't like you people" suggesting that because I used Bluegreen points to exchange into the property rather than being an "owner" I was somehow less than them. And the way that saying came out of her mouth with such ease I could tell she used it quite frequently in life when referring to groups of people different from her.

No complaints, it was nice, just not 5 star, I would suggest they have more music around the pool bar at night.. it was very quiet after 6 pm... then a little music at 9-10 but everyone was gone... if there was a dj or something it would keep people up and out, dancing and drinking.. but it was like crickets by 7:30

Location of room was awesome but furniture in living room was extremely uncomfortable bed furniture was cozy but bathroom was small and no bathroom Counter spaces. Resort is beautiful you have to walk across a small street but the beach is gorgeous!

Amazing location across the street from Eagle Beach. The pool area is great and usually has live music during happy hour. The restaurant is pretty good and the service at the resort is great. If you get an interior room it will be noisy, poor design and lack of soundproofing. You hear every conversation in the hallway. If you like to sleep, it can be very annoying.

La Cabana was very nice. The rooms were nice, the staff was amazing, the food was really good, the resort activities were fun, the pool was nice, and the resort was right across the street from the ocean. We really enjoyed ourselves there. The only downside was the construction, but they are working on making the pool area better and I can't wait.

We had a great stay at La Cabana. Rooms were clean and the bars, staff, restaurants, and pool were all great. My only complaint is after a few days their security started asking our kids about their wrist bands. They hadn’t done it earlier in the week and no one told us they needed to wear it. The bands were far too big for them and would have lost them had we kept them on the kids.

Right across from beautiful Eagle Beach, great pool, nice staff, helpful concierge, comfortable rooms, and with SuperFood across the street plus kitchenettes with everything you need to whip up quick meals you can save a lot of money not needing to eat in restaurants for every meal. Noisy if you're facing the pool but very quiet if you have a non-pool facing room. I've been in both and the non-pool facing experience was much more relaxing for me.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because when housekeeping would come they didnt change the sheets and refill everything. Otherwise it was amazing!!! Gorgeous views, great location, and staff is very friendly.

A nice place. more low key than Palm Beach. I like Eagle beach better too. The hotel itself has nice rooms and staff. Food and drink are more reasonable than other hotels. Fun live music. We had a blast chartering the El Capitan for 4 hrs of deep sea fishing. Not for the faint hearted who are scared of a little rocking of the boat. We caught some wahoo and barracuda. The mate Alexander was wonderful and made sure we had a pleasurable time. He recommended we had the fish prepared at the nos clubhuis. The captain was great as well. We dropped the fish off right after fishing and then returned for happy hour and dinner. The drinks were great and the server suggested we get the fish cooked all 3 ways; deep fried, pan fried and and blackened. It was excellent. We look forward to doing it again.

This was hands down our favorite restaurant in Aruba. Best margaritas I've ever had. We went 3 nights in a row. I love the entire staff and the music they play. It's just such an awesome and fun atmosphere! The sunset is unbelievable here also. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Beach bar feeling through and through (don't expect anything glam here). Service was great. Lots of options on drinks (though we seemed to miss the happy hour). We ordered ceviche and it was way better than I anticipated - the fish wasn't raw as I expected, but still tasty and tender. The sauce was heavenly - we would have drank it if it wasn't rude! They also have an iguana that roams around frequently which was fun to watch. The view is great - really nice being elevated (as it is on the 2nd floor) so that you can see out over the beach and into the ocean for quite a ways.

Like a tiki treehouse in absolute paradise. We rocked on some terrific Tropical Itch (minus the back scratchers) that were super yummy. Also happened to hit them on a Sunday for the BBQ special. The fish was killer. The service was friendly and laid back to match the tropical vibes. Full disclosure, thos was our 4th visit over a span of 7 years and we have had consistently great service. Ninka is the bomb, she is a great waitress!

Just got back from our 3rd stay at La Cabana and it was awesome! The staff is friendly and super helpful, rooms are comfortable, and the food at the Islander restaurant is amazing!!! And of course, the beach is beautiful. Johnny helped us with our beach chairs every morning, he’s the best. And Lucy waited on us in the restaurant and remembered us every day and even came to tell us goodbye when we left! We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back.

Our son and daughter-in-law invited us to accompany them to Aruba. They've been to La Cabana Beach Resort and Casino many times before, but this was my first time to Aruba. The accommodations were immaculate and everything in the room worked properly. It's nice to have a home-away-from-home to return to after a day of sightseeing on this beautiful island. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, too. We'll be back for sure.

Very nice place to relax and escape from the normal daily routine. My husband enjoyed our walks, our talks, one jeep tour, the environment, the staff and actually the Bluegreen Family. We met people who were Bluegreen members as well as those who just had week long timeshares there. The weather was perfect, the beaches were beautiful. I will definitely come back.

Excellent location & everything you'd need if you didn't want to do anything but move from beach to pool & back. Beautiful grounds, several dining options from an inexpensive but yummy pizza to a more "fine dining" experience. The bar is great either at the pool or beach. Fun experiences like dancing & bingo & such. I didn't go in but there is a casino in the hotel. There is a cute coffee shop & to die for gelato! Front desk check in was easy & GiGi was very nice & helpful! All in all, high recommendation. I can't wait to return 😊

We traded into this resort. How disappointing. The one bedroom unit is very small. The furniture very uncomfortable. Entering the unit, you need to squeeze past the bed to enter the rest of the unit. The master bed is just a foot or two from the door. Going down the hallway towards the ‘kitchen/living area’ there is a small bathroom with a single vanity. The common area is so small… you would have a problem fitting 4 people sitting. TV is small and is placed over the kitchenette table. Let’s go outside - nice pool… but the entire time sitting by the pool we had to listen to very loud Puerto Rican rap music. Awful. If the music was mixed with other music it would be fine, but that was not the case. Now- the help- not overly friendly nor helpful. We have been coming to Aruba for years and this is the worst resort we have ever been stayed at in Aruba. Stay here at your own peril.

Staff is rude the lady had the nerve to tell me my cash was to old and ask me where did I get it from and refused to take $50 bills. They don't know nothing they will put you in a smaller room. Watch them. It's nothing to do there they've been had the same menus forever plain Jane place. It's really for older people and their families It's wack like the staff.

Resort is nice, rooms are nice, and location is just across the street from the beach, but nothing spectacular. Resort does offer daily activities for kids and adults with many being free, so while we didn't take advantage of many, thats a nice option. They were under construction on a new pool(s) while we were staying, so the other pool was good, but just had one slide and a few different areas so could get fairly busy. Filtering system also didn't seem to work as it should, or pool want getting cleaned often enough, as we often say pcs or clumps of hair floating around which wad definitely a little off putting.

2023/3/30 Just spent 2 wonderful weeks at LaCabana. The location is great as it is right on Eagle Beach. Our enjoyment was in enhanced by the great maid service provided by Perrier Renette. Perrier kept our room beautifully and was very helpful. Thank you Perrier.

Great resort. Clean rooms. Best location to walk across road to the beach. Can view gorgeous sunset nightly. Great food/beverage service on site. Bus and grocery store right near resort.

Was tempted to give a 4 star rating because the dishwasher and convection/microwave oven routinely malfunctioned. We were able to work around it, but it was annoying. However, the overall experience was so great that a 5 star review was still necessary.

Went for an evenings entertainment. Great bar, good atmosphere, friendly service. Enjoyed it so much, we went back the next evening for our nights entertainment. That was even better, with a DJ and Karaoke. Thoroughly recommend.

I have been an owner for over 20 years. La Cabana is a well run and beautiful resort. Staff are polite and attentive. Located on beautiful Eagle Beach. New pool is in progress and rooms/decor went through a recent renovation. Centrally located with easy access to stores and restaurants.

You can't beat this resort! Hotel staff found out it was our honeymoon and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. Being ride on the second best beach in the world was amazing! So much to do here without even leaving the resort!

This place is great! The staff is always friendly, polite and accommodating. The units are clean and spacious. Housekeeping does a great job. The pool area is so well kept. Happy hour every day. The restaurants have good food at reasonable prices. Ocean views from our balcony was beautiful. #1 Eagle Beach right across the street! Couldn’t ask for a better vacation spot.

This place is peaceful and amazing to stay near the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. There are plenty of activities to do if you are just staying at the place and a nearby bus route of you want to go north or south of the island. Its also very near to a very complete and economic super market. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are nice. Great place!

Very nice Hotel. They are under construction (Aug 19 2023) but the rooms are very nice. They are in a great location, and its the perfect place to bring your family.

The beach and the staff are wonderful. I only have one complaint. Some people go to the beach at 6 am to claim a spot so if you get there at 9 it's difficult to find a good place to sit.

We spent 1 day at the Renaissance hotel and got spoiled with their offerings. La Cabana is nice, staff are all friendly and great lemon/ Cucumber water in the lobby. It just doesn't feel all that nice, something about it. It doesn't help that there's a bunch of construction and pools are closed. Seems like they should discount the rooms for not having all the facilities listed.

The bed was too soft and the drinks/food were a little expensive. The pool was nice. The beach was very nice, one of the sandiest on the island. I wish there were more activities, shows and shops. Although there were some activities, I just wish there were more.
