I've worked in Caribbean travel for 31 years and for the past two years in local community projects. Having visited 32 islands and more than 300 hotels, I can safely say this is one of my favorites of all time. We LOVED the vibe, the design of the common space, rooms and gardens. The location is PERFECT and the staff is AMAZING. Happy Hour was always peaceful and fun. If you are not a big resort person and you are not sure where to book, you will really feel at home (yet pampered!) at the Boardwalk. And a little THANK YOU to my travel agent who told me about it, who advised our friends of the flight changes (and arranged an extra night for them), and who gave me great information on airport timing! If you are not using a travel agent, find a good one!

I first want to start off by saying how kind and wonderful the staff was at Boardwalk Hotel. The breakfast was delicious and they always make the 3:00- 5:00 pm Happy Hour really fun and enjoyable for all guests! This hotel is in a great location, you are close to delicious restaurants and beautiful beaches. The reason for my rating was due to the rooms. We had a mold/smell situation in 2 different rooms we were put into. In the end, management handled the situation respectfully and were very kind. Hopefully we can make it back to beautiful Aruba very soon!

There is something so special about this hotel. Every single little detail was thought out from the moment you pull in through the gate. They didn’t skip a beat. It’s absolutely stunning and chic. Our casita was charming, comfortable and colorful! The staff is so nice and helpful. I can’t wait to come back.

This place was fabulous!! So clean, beautiful and friendly. We had no complaints and will much rather stay here then a crowded high rise hotel hands down. The staff was so wonderful.

This place is a hidden gem. It's the perfect location, tucked behind the Ritz. Every room and pool is surrounded by the most beautiful gardens. I thought it would bug me to have to cross the street for the beach, but it never did and the beach is incredible (and pretty quiet in comparison to further down Palm Beach). Ordering groceries in advance and delivered to the resort is a game changer. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and friendly. Avie (pool bartender) was personable and made the yummiest drinks - loved chatting with her!

We love Boardwalk! We chose Boardwalk for our honeymoon in Aruba because we wanted a non-traditional hotel experience. We stayed at the Plunge Pool Casita and it was beyond amazing. The entire property is beautiful and a very quick walk to the beach. The service by the entire staff was 5 stars! Thank you to Daniel and Evy for your exceptional service and kindness! If we find ourselves in Aruba again, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Oh and I can’t forget to mention Eduardo’s food - top tier and great prices for the portions! In regards to the beach area, it was a quieter part of the island (which was absolutely perfect for us). However, if you are looking for more of a livelier experience I’d recommend heading south down Palm Beach. Aruba is a safe island and the people are very kind. Thank you Aruba and Boardwalk!

Jessica was so helpful! She offered us amazing service and was warm, friendly, and informative. We loved this boutique hotel! The property is thoughtfully designed and has all the amenities you need. It’s beautifully decorated and landscaped. We saw a lot of wildlife like finches, lizards, and a frog. Plus, all the rooms feel very private, even the cabanas surrounding the pool were well placed to feel secluded. The room itself was well-equipped and comfortable. We loved that they loaned out coolers, beach chairs, and snorkel gear for free to explore Arashi & Eagle Beach. Eduardo’s smoothies and the poolside happy hour were such a treat! Prices were very reasonable compared to times we ate out. Would definitely stay here again and for longer next time.

The hotel is perfectly located on the best part of the island. Only a 5 minute walk from the beach. Service at the beach is excellent with the Ritz bartenders. The rooms are large and the staff is fantastic. Highly recommended if you want a relaxing stay in aruba!

We loved this place! It was the perfect retreat for us. The Coco Cafe has excellent food and drinks. Everything from our casita, the pools, the restaurant, the lobby was very clean and inviting. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back!

The staff, the rooms, the gardens and pools....everything was perfect. Such a short walk to the beach without the steep price tag of the beachfront hotels. This place was immaculately clean and the decor was so gorgeous. The two cats and very friendly chicken who live on the property were a lovely bonus as well. I would never stay anywhere else when coming to Aruba!

Boardwalk Hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff is amazing. I celebrated by 50th birthday there with friends and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Highly recommend especially if you like smaller hotels.

If you don't want a chain hotel, this is the perfect place for you! The property was breathtaking; the Coco Cafe was one of our favorite places to eat on the island (beautiful outdoor seating and delicious food); our Deluxe Coco Casita could not have been cleaner or more picturesque; they made it so easy for us by calling taxis whenever we wanted to leave. We got the Romance Package and enjoyed breakfast on our patio and a dinner at Barefoot Restaurant. The poolside drinks were delicious. The whole property was so quiet and peaceful. It's not a party place with loud music at night. I hardly wanted to leave the hotel to explore the rest of the island. You won't regret it!

We stayed at boardwalk for our honeymoon. This boutique hotel was very lush and great photos around every corner. The front desk staff were very accommodating when our room wasn’t ready at checkin (normally 3pm). The guests were having a great time. The magic mango beer was delicious and had way too many!! Def coming back!

My recent experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The service was impeccable, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Whether it was the delicious food, the cozy ambiance, or the friendly staff, every aspect of my visit exceeded my expectations. I left with a smile on my face, eager to return for another memorable experience.

Dreams do come true!!! Wow this place was the peaceful vibe I needed in my life. The entire place was just beautiful. The service felt like family. Even the 2 cars that live there were nice. I also need to give the chef a shoutout because the food was better then most expensive restaurants we went too. We already starting talking about coming back with the family. Only feedback I have is the pillows but nothing else could kill the positive and relaxing energy this place brings!

Lovely, charming hotel, beautiful and serene. The grounds were like an oasis and it's a stone's throw to the beach. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. Food was fantastic. Eco friendly and sustainable. All the rooms were unique, spacious, and had lots of character.

The hotel is perfect for travelers not looking for the average “big hotel” experience. Very cool accommodations, great food at the cafe, but what really sets this place apart is the amazing staff. They will help you with absolutely anything you might need. They were fantastic and we will definitely be back to see everyone again(I hope very soon!)

The best place ever! We will definitely be back. Run don’t walk to book this place if you are coming to Aruba!! Everything from check in to our casita was first class. They go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. The beach is so close, and they will even help you rent a car if you wish to venture out to further beaches! Our casita was so beautiful and the property was absolutely BREATHTAKING.

Boardwalk has provided me with the best hotel experience that I have ever had anywhere. I’ve done a fair amount of traveling and the amenities and experience you get here is unlike any other. The grounds are gorgeous and the pools are so nice. All of the staff has been so incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They provide you with beach chairs, a cooler, basically anything you need to make your beach trips easier. You don’t get the kinds of accommodations at other hotels that you get here. This hotel is perfect for couples and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I don’t want to leave and I already can’t wait to come back to Aruba and stay at Boardwalk again.

We had the absolute best time at the Boardwalk! It feels like you are living in a remote jungle as you walk through the hotel grounds. I loved getting to see the wildlife at the hotel, there were cats, iguanas, various birds, even frogs! The hotel staff were so friendly and gave us the best recommendations on where to go around the island. The coco cafe was phenomenal, everything we had from coffee, to smoothies, cocktails, breakfast, and little bites, we enjoyed it all. We will definitely be staying at the Boardwalk again if we get the chance to come back to Aruba!

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It's beautiful, sweet, private with a great location. There is a 5 min walk to the beach where there are lots of restaurants, etc. With such a beautiful hotel and property, you don't need a ocean view. We have never been fans of high rise hotels on island vacations. Boardwalk hotel gives the perfect island vibe and great service.

The place itself is nice, it is quieter than being at the larger hotels around the area. The reason for my rating is due to the the experience after checking out. I sat at the lobby for 15 mins after I had checked out, during this time I was asked twice within a 5 mins time frame by two people , if I had requested for my taxi and later again " and how long until your taxi is arriving ?".. that is not a great look and unnecessary. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and paid $650 per night, I am not a random stranger who stepped on the resort.

We booked this hotel after leaving another boutique property on the island that we did not care for… what a difference and glad we left. The Boardwalk Boutique Hotel is a charming hotel…I highly recommend it. Bungalows all in garden settings with the great pool, and restaurant. Pool has a tiki bar and a Happy Hour or two.. restaurant food and service is excellent.. beach club is on Palm beach a five minute walk or shuttle ride… the staff and the welcome reception was very informative and nice to have that personable service Thanks Demi!!

This hotel was one of the best parts of our trip. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The property is really pretty, clean, and secluded. It's an oasis. The resort cats and chickens were fun to see walking around. There were so many amenities like help with planning activities, beach chairs and snorkels, etc.The walk to the beach is easy and short, you can also take the shuttle. The beach itself was nice and the service is relatively frequent. I would stay here again without a doubt.

This place is a true gem. Such a beautiful space! You can see the meticulously work put into the small details, premises, and decor & I'm here for it all! I love going places where it directly reflects people loving their jobs. The staff is certainly something to rave about! I will definitely be returning! If your hesitating, don't! Because it is worth it!

First time we stayed at a hotel and didn’t want to leave the room & property. We got the Deluxe 1-bedroom casita. We originally thought the private patio meant it was private from everyone’s view, but we were able to move the patio furniture to the private outdoor shower in the back and it was still lovely. Eduardo’s food is a really nice break from the heavier food you find on the island. The massage at the spa was ah-mazing, and the pool was such a nice vibe. We visited other friends’ resorts, and although they were also nice, I really appreciate the uniqueness and hospitality of the staff here. Especially the room. I wanted relaxation on this trip, and I got it.

Staying at Boardwalk Boutique may have been the best decision we made for our honeymoon! We strongly considered staying in one of the big resorts in Palm Beach but settled on Boardwalk for our honeymoon because we wanted a comfortable, private, and romantic getaway and that's exactly what we got! First of all, everything about the hotel is beautiful from the lobby, to the garden pathways, and the pool area! The entire place was filled with wildlife such as lizards, birds, and even a few very friendly stray cats! Our Casita was absolutely STUNNING. It looked exactly like it did in the pictures online. I kept telling my husband that it's exactly how I would design a hotel if I owned one! The bed was extremely clean and comfortable, the showers (both inside and outside) were luxurious, and there was a beautiful mural on the wall behind the bed. I also loved that we had our own little private patio on which we could enjoy breakfast (from Eduardo's) in the morning. And speaking of Eduardo's - the food is absolutely delicious every time we ate there! I could just go on and on, but in a nutshell Boardwalk Boutique was truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and made for the perfect honeymoon for my husband and I.

The boardwalk boutique really nailed the tropical aesthetic. From the outside of the property you don't realize but as soon as you walk in, the trees and vegetation interspersed with the cabanas make for a peaceful, quiet, very beautiful setting. The cabanas were spacious and mostly blocked out noise from any neighbors. Pools were very nice and the service was excellent. The part of the beach they have for palapas and their partnership with the Ritz for beach side food and beverage were worth the short walk across the road from the hotel.

Stayed in Nov 2021 for 5 days. One of the BEST hotels I’ve been to! Such beautiful decor, clean, great service from staff, love that is was a smaller hotel compared to the major resorts in Aruba. Rooms are super spacious and have balconies with hammocks. The bathrooms were huge!! So much space for getting ready. We couldn’t use our hammock bc it was covered in spider webs, so the hammock by the pool made up for it. No complaints! Also, we had a cat who visited on our patio every morning, too cute. Hotel is 1 block from the beach where they have beach chairs set up and you can order from the ritz beach restaurant/bar if interested! Close (<1mile) to the major tourist areas of restaurants/bar/hotels which we should use the bird scooter to. The beach shack has vegetarian options which was great for me but something to keep in mind if you need meat, but the food was great there! The poolside happy hour in the afternoon had awesome piña coladas. Definitely cannot wait to come back, helpfully soon! 10/10. The only hotel I would stay at in Aruba!

Having travelled a lot I can confidently say this hotel is one of the best in the world if you want a vacation in a tropical paradise, a lot of personal space and privacy. And the most friendly staff we have ever encountered. After one night here you will be planning your next stay.

The best hotel stay either of us have ever experienced. From check-in to check-out, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food options by Eduardo’s were both delicious and healthy. The grounds were gorgeous and designed so that each guest had privacy and seclusion from other guests, and we had fun hanging out at the beautiful pool. The hotel was a super quick walk from the beach where you’ll get Ritz beachside service at a discount. Also a quick walk from the main strip of restaurants and the mall, but you could also take scooters or a taxi if you didn’t want to do the walk.

I loved staying here! The rooms and grounds are beautiful and the staff is great. It felt peaceful and quiet even though a lot of casitas were occupied. I loved the plant based options at Eduardo’s. I would definitely come back

Holy smokes!! 🙆‍♂️ I am so impressed with this place I honestly don’t know where to start. From the price, beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, & perfect location on the island, to the joy that is Aruba in general, Boardwalk exceeded all expectations! The layout of the individual casitas makes leaving your room a fun little adventure every time while providing excellent privacy while you are relaxing in your own space, near one of the incredible pools, or even a little nook which are scattered among the grounds. You can tell so much thought & care goes into making this a perfect place to stay because it instantly felt like a little home away from home & I already can’t wait to go back!! 🤗✨

Fabulous stay with our children. It felt like a home away from home dropped in a tropical lush garden. Every morning it was incredibly peaceful and every day felt like a tranquil spa. Highly recommended to be off the beaten path with a great location

Lovely property with low density design and more important a great team providing a wonderful experience and service. It’s quiet, classy and close to all the action if you want that. If you’d like a quieter time and still enjoy the beach and the hotel it works well too. Great team and a really great hotel.

A great place in Aruba! The casitas are unique and inspirational. We had a great time there, we stayed right at a very clean pool. The two ladies that run it do it with great care and a warm heart. Absolutely recommended!

We had an amazing time at the Boardwalk. The casitas, grounds, and amenities are top notch. It's like staying in a tropical oasis. The front desk staff are kind, considerate and extremely helpful. Truly a phenomenal hotel.

Amazing Cousy Boutique hotel they has great rooms . Spacious, tall ceilings as a big cabana gorgeous interior design! We spend a relaxing moment in this place and the gardens and swimming pool between the CASITAS makes it very special , thanks to the amazing staff, they were lovely and helpful with everything. Specially to Jessica she gave us the best tips and solutions !

Visited as part of our honeymoon and it has been fantastic. We will return. Food and staff have been incredible. Room was beyond expectations and so was the experience. Our English skin was tortured by mosquitos but the staff gave us extra bug spray and had pest control spray outside our consita in addition to the free spray already included. Buy the bug balm at reception it's fantastic! To be really picky, BBQ fuel should be included and as a honeymoon couple would be better if completely child free. Highly recommended though can't wait to return

This hotel was pretty good, but had 2 major issues. I really liked the location and the smaller hotel feel vs. a big resort. The reserved beach spot was great/beautiful and reserving of palapas was easy. The pool was very nice, and nice to be able to order drinks 3-5:30 at the pool. However, the reason for the rating was for 2 reasons - 1) It is right next to a swamp and it was swarming with mosquitos - I got probably 20-25 mosquito bites while at the pool. And 2) the casita we were in was horrible for sleep/relaxation. Starting at 6-6:30 AM there was a constant door slamming shut and waking us up (staff or service entrance). It was incredibly disappointing, as one of the main reasons we vacationed was to be able to rest and recharge and sleep in a bit. We would not stay here again.

Our stay exceeded all expectations (and they were high!). Everything about this place is first class. The atmosphere, the rooms, amenities, service, people…all of it. If you are planning a trip with just you and your significant other, looking for a quieter, more peaceful stay…this is absolutely the best place on the island. And if you want all the hustle and action, it’s right across the street from the main strip of hotels and shares beach access with the Ritz-Carlton. Can’t say enough good things. Thanks one more time to the entire staff for making our stay incredible!

Being in Aruba felt comfortable i could wander off alone and not worry. It has a balance of home and authentic. The boardwalk boutique made my trip so relaxing as my casita was perfect and relaxing! I have done so many massages, all over the world and . This one is by far THE BEST one on the planet! Yamile was born with this amazing gift: her hands and her energy! Book ur massage and you will understand what I mean!

After staying here in December 2021, we couldn't wait to return. The rooms are excellent, the grounds are lovely, and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The pre-trip assistance in car rentals, restaurant reservations and all our questions was exceptional. we experienced a rare topical storm while we were there and management kept us up to date on everything and we felt well taken care of. while, you can stay here without renting a car, we do recommend that you do so and explore the island. There is so much to experience out of the immediate area.

such a lovely stay! everything was perfect. casita was clean and spacious. quick rides to/from the beach provided by the hotel. staff is so friendly and helpful. beautiful property with delicious food. pretty close to everything if you prefer to walk. as a solo traveler, i felt so safe. i would love to come back again.

Boardwalk Boutique Hotel is a jewel! Island charming accommodations with every amenity, comfortable luxurious beds, excellent attention to service. The staff is cheerful and so considerate and attentive. Looking to return here as soon as possible. Do not miss this experience exceptional in every way! Location perfect and the beautiful beach a short walk or electric cart transport. We had an excellent stay celebrating our 74 and 76 birthdays!!!!
