Pay attention to the menu. Entrees are appetizer sized. Prices are far too high and to top it off our server was horrible. If she makes her living on tips someone needs to open a go fund me because the girl is going to starve based on her level of enthusiasm and service. Thought of putting a mirror under her nose just to see if she was still with us. The music was so loud you couldn’t have dinner conversation and most of the staff spent their time chatting while you wait to be served. Great location for a good restaurant when this one fails though.

Excellent food and speedy service. Fun, lively, outdoor atmosphere. Enrique was great. Very attentive. Beef quesadilla & fish wrap were delicious!.

Bland food and blaring europop music which kept getting turned up, until we asked them to turn it down. No wonder the place was empty on a busy Christmas eve. Local draft Balashi was decent. Two fajitas and two beers 90USD plus tip. Way too expensive.

Das Essen war von top Qualität und die Portionen relativ groß - können geteilt werden. Zur Happy Hour gab es coole Show und gratis Shots sowie eine Mariachi Band. Das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen.

I was really disappointed when we came here to eat. I was excited for the birria tacos but I have celiacs so I asked for them to be made with corn tortillas instead of flour (which are usually made with corn), which the waitress was not very nice about and said no. I then went to my second choice of the menu and the waitress said they did not have it. I then ran out of options and had the chicken enchiladas, which were absolutely horrible. The sauce tasted awful, and the chicken was so dry it tasted like saw dust. My husband had some small steak thing that he had asked what it was but the very rude waitress rolled her eyes and said to read the menu because it was written there. All dishes say it comes with rice and beans but it sure does not. His came with a random square of something that he did not know what it was so he asked, which we then received an eye roll and scoff. She didn’t explain it at all to us so we didn’t know if I could try it or not because she would not explain anything. The beans were in a tiny little cup the size of a shot glass and tasted like someone dumped an entire salt shaker in it. They were awful and completely inedible. The waitress then rolled her eyes again when we asked for salsa with our chips because the guacamole was so watered down and basically just chunks of raw onion and she said they didn’t have salsa. The waitress also went on lunch break at a table IN VIEW OF US as soon as our food was delivered so we got no service for a good 40 minutes until the bartender stepped in. As another review said, this restaurant is an excellent location for another when this one fails. The only redeeming quality was the drinks. But they were very expensive and has little to no alcohol in them, which a couple complained about while we were sitting there. When they complained they got very rude and argumentative responses and they ended up walking out. 10/10, would not recommend.

The service was super slow! I ordered beef enchiladas but was brought chicken instead. Thought about sending it back to be remade but decided against it because of how long it took to bring out in the first place. Tried the enchiladas and they were cold too. The server blamed the mixup on the kitchen but the bill showed differently. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We split a special mixed entree. Steak fajitas were great. Staff was nice and there were 3 other parties present.Ceviche appetizer portion was large and with good size morsels. Guacamole was fresh and very good. Drinks were fine.

Excellent service, waitress Sherlyne was attentive and friendly. We had guacamole, and Tacos Barria with Micheladas and Mezcal Margaritas ⭐️

We went on Tuesday where there was a gentleman singing live music. Music selection was great. Atmosphere was even better. The manager was checking on everybody making sure everybody was having a good time. Make sure you go on a Monday or Tuesday! They even handed out sombreros for everybody to wear for a while, gave us a good laugh! Food was good and portions were filling! Well worth it.

The food was amazing!! There were 6 of us that dined and none of us had any complaints about the food. Very tasty. The beef tacos were extremely tasty and the meat was seasoned well and tender. Very filling! The guacamole was wonderful!! Drinks were both good and strong. They also let you take drinks to go. Seating is outside and can get loud from the other restaurants nearby. The waitress mixed up our orders because she couldn't hear us, however, she made it right. Overall, you will not be disappointed in visiting this restaurant! Highly recommended.

Food was ok, could have gone to Taco Bell. Nothing special, not very Mexican. Cocktails were better. Live music so loud, everyone had to scream at each other, totally ridiculous! Great place for those that have nothing to say to each other, giving you a valid excuse!

Food was decent but for five of us to each have one main dish (Tacos) and only 2 starters and 1 drink a piece to cost 400 USD is insane. We had a party of 11 at the Italian restaurant across the street and cost 390 seems a little more fitting.

Probably the WORST Mexican food we’ve ever had. Definitely avoid going here.

This is a great place to have dinner when you want good food and don’t want to spend a lot . The staff are awesome and they have done a really nice job with the decor. They are fans so even though you are not on the beach it is very nice temperature and relaxing! Try it out. You won’t be disappointed. The margaritas are delicious too!!!

Great food for the money . Very tasty food . My entire family enjoyed the food and the environment. Friendly place and also met the lovely owner . He thought us how to make the spicy sauce. We ended up going there twice . I highly recommend this place .

Fun place, yummy guacamole, burritos and margaritas! As a minus, 90's disco music played so loud it was impossible to have a conversation. Mr Bean on the TV screen kept us entertained though 😂

We had so much fun dining here. From the sweet lady whose a hostess that is at the curb to the wait staff and entertainment, it was a blast! The vibe was very reminiscent of South Beach, Miami. The drinks and food were good. They definitely put their own spin on Mexican cuisine that made it interesting but good. The gentleman singing was amazing, we didn't want to leave. At one point a lady celebrating her bday with a group of friends even got up from her table and sung with him and even though we didn't know the language they were singing in for that song, it was a great time! Definitely check them out.

It was a satisfying experience knowing that we were visiting places with limited vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. The fajita had smokey flavor which I like and had zucchini, onions, tomatoes...could have used some peppers and corn. Also on of the enchilada dish had a bit too much cheese which was not necessary. Their salsas and sauces are must try and add so much flavor to the food.

Would highly recommend eating here! The enchiladas had so much flavor and is probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Food came out fast and the staff were very friendly.

We've been coming to Kalin's every September for years. Imagine my surprise when I went to the mall only to find them permanently closed! Alas, As I was walking back to my hotel I saw a beautiful welcoming sign for Kalin's on the main drag by the high hotels. I was so happy. Had my usual, guacamole and green enchiladas with chicken and they were as wonderful as ever. I was tempted to try their version of birria which has become very popular on the east coast of the states. But, I couldn't resist my old favorites. The service was excellent as usual and the prices very reasonable for Aruba! I highly recommend Kalin's Mexican Restaurant in Aruba. It's a treasure.

The food is ok, however I had an issue on my last visit. I ordered two tostadas, the waitress confirmed, I pointed the choice in the menu in order to confirm it and avoid misunderstandings. But after this, the waitress changed my dishes for enchiladas e made me pay for this! The enchiladas are more expensive. So be careful, they made some updates in your order, to more convenient for them.

Great ambiance, however food was good but nothing special. We were told by our taxi this restaurant is owned by a native Mexican, so maybe I've just never had this regions cooking compared to what I'm used to? Also, location is a bit hidden in the Plaza Mall behind the Palm Beach strip and prices were reasonable. They do charge extra for additional sides of things like sour cream, again maybe I'm just not used to this in US but it made sense anyhow. We're not drinkers, but it seems like a fun place if you are one. I definitely recommend trying, you might love it instead!

Food is excellent! Enrique our waiter was fantastic! Owner was outstanding! Nice views of the marina, fun music, great fresh delicious food!!!!

Horrible service: 7pm: my family of 4, 2 kids, my wife and I sit down 7:20pm: server comes to take our order 8:00pm: I ask to see the manager, manager never shows 8:15pm: food arrives 8:20: ask for the manager again, she comes over and I explained to her that our waiter had only been to see us once. I kindly tell her that the table behind us, who was seated at 7:40 had gotten water, napkins and their appetizers before we had gotten our food. I also told her that we didn’t need our food comped as we’re totally capable of paying for our own meal, but our server was MIA the whole time. She apologized and said she understood. 8:25: we finally get water and napkins for the table. 8:35: my wife walks over to the waiter and asks for the check 8:50: waiter arrives with the check and at this point I politely give him a piece of my mind, his excuse? They were really busy, but in reality he was busy taking care of everyone else, he was taking pictures for the table across from us and making sure everyone else was good. In the 1 hour and 50 minutes we were there, we saw one table flipped 3 times. Our server never checked on us, we only saw him to give our order, receive our food and get the check. My wife had asked for chips, we waited, no chips. My wife asked again & the waiter acted as if it was his first time bein asked. We waited so long that my 8 year old cried because he was starving. We’ll never eat here again 😕.

We had eaten at another Mexican restaurant nearby (Orale) earlier in the week and were VERY disappointed. Kalin’s was our rebound meal because we needed good Mexican food. Kalin’s. Was. Amazing. No, seriously. Out of this world food! And the service we received from Leidy was exceptional. She was very attentive, incredibly friendly, just one of those fun personalities you want to be around. Leidy recommended entrees. Chicken fajitas for my wife and a red snapper dish for me. The fajitas were best in class! I do not remember the name of my red snapper entree. All I can tell you is … it was so good it was a spiritual experience. I have never experienced a Mexican dish with such perfectly balanced flavor. There was festive music playing and colorful lights. The atmosphere was on point. The chef came out talked with us. Not because we needed anything, but because the whole team at Kilan’s is super friendly. My only regret is that we wasted a meal at that other Mexican restaurant when we could have eaten at Kilan’s twice! Cheers to the Kilan team. Keep up the good work. We’ll be back to Aruba soon and will be looking for you.

We had the best food here. We’ve even coming to Aruba for years and always make this a stop. Super friendly staff and a terrific bartender. We had the best Mojitos and Margaritas. The fajitas are outstanding along with everything else. There was a DJ and you felt like you were in Mexico for a meal. Great time.
