This
is
NOT
a
hostel.
It
is
a
family
bungalow
which
is
in
a
very
bad
neighbourhood.
The
owner
has
put
locks
on
everything,
even
police
siren
alarm
goes
off
when
entering
or
departing
property.
Cameras
throughout,
and
a
spy
glass
panel
in
their
door
to
see
who
goes
in
and
out
of
dorm,
kitchen,
or
bathroom.
The
joint
is
run
by
Venezuelans.
A
very
noisy
family,
comprising
of
a
dictator
husband,
a
moany,
complaining
wife,
small
noisy
kid,
and
a
miserable,
nosey,
unfriendly
grandmother.
The
small
kid
runs
about
and
makes
too
much
noise
throughout
the
day
and
night.
The
family
bungalow
simply
has
a
tiny
box
room
which
is
converted
into
a
six
bed
dorm.
Really
rusty
and
broken
bed
frames
and
torn
mattresses
line
the
box
room,
with
one
stack
of
rusty
dented
lockers.
Tired,
yellow
old
smoke
stained
bedding.
Oddly
it
is
advertised
as
a
four
bed
dorm.
It
really
is
tiny.
There
is
only
ONE
single
washroom
with
toilet,
for
over
ten
people
to
use.(
absolutely
tiny.
One
could
shower
whilst
sitting
on
the
toilet
).
So
if
one
desperately
needs
the
toilet,
too
bad.
If
one
wants
a
shower,
then
one
has
to
wait
for
someone
to
finish.
Only
cold
water.
Very
low
power
water.
Sink
tap
just
keeps
turning
off
whilst
trying
to
use
daily.
Awfully
stupid
set
up.
Also
the
disgusting
thing
is
the
toilet
is
next
to
the
kitchen.
This
is
foul.
Huge
gap
underneath
bathroom
door,
but
mostly
it
is
just
kept
open.
Used
toilet
paper
goes
into
a
bin
which
is
not
frequently
emptied.
It
had
not
been
emptied
for
nearly
four
days.
Too
gross.
There
is
no
privacy.
The
dorm
is
next
to
the
kitchen,
but
is
facing
the
family
room.
There
is
constant
banging
of
pots,
pans
and
too
much
noise
for
many
hours
day
and
night.
Constant
checking
and
OCD
of
everything.
DO
not
wet
the
washroom
or
bring
sand
in.
I
brought
(in
my
shorts)
about
2
tablespoons
of
sand
which
landed
on
the
floor
in
the
washroom
as
i
changed.
This
is
a
dictatorship
household.
Firstly
I
got
the
wife
telling
me
off.
Then
the
husband
thumped
on
the
dorm
door
like
a
bailiff.
I
had
said
I
would
sweep
it
but
they
were
not
satisfied.
I
explained
this
is
a
beach
location
and
it
was
hard
to
avoid
this.
I
then
wanted
a
refund
and
to
just
check
out
two
days
earlier
as
this
place
is
stressful
and
the
family
are
24
hours
here.
It
really
is
a
very
uncomfortable
and
unwelcoming
place.
I
am
very
well
travelled
and
have
visited
all
continents
except
Antarctica.
65
countries
and
hostels
worldwide
but
never
experienced
such
nonsense
There
are
labels
written
all
around
not
to
touch
or
use
things.
Labels
are
written
like
a
warning.
All
around
the
bathroom
NO
USAR.
Unsanitary
as
no
hand
soap
provided
for
after
toilet,
or
to
sterilise
especially
with
covid.
Not
even
eco
friendly
as
owner
has
collected
heaps
of
shells.
In
aruba
one
is
not
supposed
to
take
shells
or
sealife.
There
are
shells
placed
all
around
the
outside
and
inside
of
home.
The
owner
is
not
a
local
Aruban
but
a
South
American
migrant.
He
complains
about
the
country
getting
full
of
people
coming
to
live
here.
His
family
and
himself
are
migrants
from
Venezuela.
Very
discriminatory
against
women
and
Colombians.
He
said
he
would
like
to
bar
Colombians,
and
would
prefer
men
and
not
women
staying
here.
Different
way
of
doing
things.
Very
angry
man.
Not
the
way
a
hostel
or
any
place
to
stay
should
conduct
themselves.
Oh,
and
don't
expect
to
sleep
on
the
weekends.
Saturday
night
from
early
evening
to
just
after
4am
pounding
bass
and
distorted
music
so
loud
the
bunk
bed
frames
and
lockers
were
actually
humming
and
vibrating.
Owner
thinks
noise
is
OK
as
its
in
the
city?
It
apparently
usual.
Bin
in
dorm
that
was
full
was
only
emptied
on
the
4th
day.
So,
unless
you
like
the
sound
of
banging
pots,
pans,
blender
any
hour.
The
sound
of
a
small
kid
running
about
making
too
much
noise
(
which
should
at
that
age
be
sleeping),
and
pounding
music,
just
avoid.
I
chose
this
place
due
to
false
advertising.
Advertising
platforms
should
pay
attention
to
what
customers
say.
Wasted
nearly
200
dollars,
suffering
in
a
noisy
and
tense
atmosphere.
Couldn't
wait
to
leave.
When
he
