If you have the time I’d suggest making it out to see the aloe farm and manufacturing plant. The free guided tour was great and we gained a lot of useful information. It was a quick tour and the shop has a ton of products for sale. We didn’t buy anything due to not being able to get it back in our carry on but do plan on ordering online. I wouldn’t say this is a must see, but was good to go during our extra time.

Best free tour ever!! Linda (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and a treat. We had some people on the tour that must have been engineers that asked some dumb questions, but she handled the smart alecs and put them in their place. Must visit if you're visiting Aruba.

Very cool museum! The tour guide explained the history of the Aloe plant in Aruba and also explained the process of cutting it and turning it into soaps, lotions, skincare products, and even medicine! We got to purchase things from the gift shop after the tour. This place is very pricey but they offer free lotion if you sign up with your email. There was also a buy one get one free deal with their chapsticks. It has a very nice atmosphere and very nice place.

Aruba Aloe Factory was great, the tour is very quick but good information. I was able to see one of the workers cleaning the Aloe but the other workers were on lunch so wasn't able to see the operation going on, but I enjoyed it anyways. The museum was very informative and the movie as well, explaining the roots of the aloe and even how it started off as a laxative, which I didn't even know. The gift store is awesome but pricey. I made my own little gift bag and also if you give them your email at the register you get a free aloe lip balm with sunscreen in it as well. I enjoyed it there.

This place was actually very interesting. It was very nice to see the large field of well maintained aloe plants. The brief tour they had was not boring at all. You can view above the production areas from the second floor. Main thing I learned is sap=laxative, leaf=everything else. Present are some nice artifacts and exhibits. They are located on the right side of the entrance. Note restrooms are in the seated area behind the exhibits. Store is on the left side of the entrance or immediately descending the second floor. The products are very nice, and attractive, ended up spending 95 USD on soaps and lotions. When shopping not there are not many prices shown on the signs. If you are a resident of the Netherlands or the United States, can go to the online store. Get your items if you impulsively need to have them or they are out of stock at their online fulfillment centre.

Always a must stop to get the best Aloe picked right outside their store. The tour is amazing. Getting a chance to see how a quality product produced. Great deals in the store and a first-rate staff as well. The actual Aloe farm is just a stunning place to view.

What a great tour!! First off it was free and it started by our tour guide taking us outside to the fields. Followed by looking at the actual workers working. Ended with us sampling aloe and purchasing if you wanted. Of course we did and im not disappointed with the body wash, lotion or the bar soap. There are just under 35000 plants!! Just awesome

An amazing and free museum tour. It was short and yet so informative. You also got to see how the product is made and get a hands on tour of how to get aloe out of the plant. What an breathtaking view that you wouldn't know exists in aruba. Also got to sample a lot of their products. They are environmentally conscientious.

This is well worth the visit. Free to the public, of course supported by the giftshop. We picked up some amazing skincare products. Where else are you going to see the whole process of making the products?

Free museum tour. Enjoyed the information and history of Aruba aloe industry. Have purchased a number of quality products they have to offer and look forward to use and results. Recommend you check it out.

An interesting and worth seeing free Aloe museum is located inside the store on the first floor, I recommend visiting it even if you are not planning to make any purchases. In the store on the ground floor you will find a huge selection of products, many free samples and a staff willing to advise. For me, the products are expensive, but I consider them to be of high quality. There is a free: toilet and WiFi.

The factory and tour were both much more enjoyable than I anticipated. The tour guide was insightful and charming. A lot of really neat information was shared. The tour is free! We got to walk through the production process and try out some sample products. Ultimately, the entire tour is there to try to indirectly sell you in buying products from the store. That aside though, it was pretty neat and worth a visit

A fantastic business! Beautifully presented aloe products, too. Take the tour and learn about aloe's long history, and how it is farmed, and made into the finest aloe body products!

Cool place. It's great that they put their factory on full display so you can see the process from aloe extraction to bottling to packaging. Also lots of samples to try out. Small museum also very informative. Don't forget to take a peak at the fields of aloe plants beside and behind the factory, it's quite a sight. Definitely worth stopping, something unique.

This Aruba Aloe Factory and Museum was a preempt year nice experience worth visiting while here on this island. The wife and actually use Aloe products and always wanting to see its plantation and products being harvested and produced. I was quite pleased with the tour, the knowledgeable tour guide and the production of Aloe products. I learned today that this factory only send large shipments to only two places in the world, Indianapolis and the Netherlands and from there, it gets distributed out to other places. I highly recommend visitors and tourists to come visit this factory/museum and support this facility.

Free aloe vera field and factory tour. Plenty to learn and see. The store is fairly expensive so you'll have to know exactly what you're looking for if price is an issue. They offer free gifts pending what you spend. Great little shop with a lot of history. Perfect multilingual tour guide

You can’t come to Aruba and not go to the Aruba Aloe Factory. Everyone could use aloe after days basking in the sun. The tour is free and so informative. If you use your email to access the free wifi, you’ll get a code to receive a free gift with your purchase at the store. The factory runs only Monday-Friday but they give tours everyday, every 15 minutes and the store is also open.

The free aloe tour was quick and informative. It was really interesting to learn about how they cut open the aloe and how you extract the gel to use for a sunburn or other uses. The store was really nice inside. The items for sale were a bit expensive, but we got a little bag with a sample size of a few items. The shower gel, sunscreen, after sun lotion, and regular lotion, along with a SPF chapstick. All of them are great and came in a super cute hemp like zipper bag.

This factory tour is worth the trip. We arrived by car and waited for the tour to start. The shop has a large amount of products available, and maybe the most selection of all the Aruba aloe stores on the island. Unfortunately, our tour group ended up being one that was merged with a cruise ship bus. It amounted to a lot of people, but, the tour guide did a nice job. All of the products are made on Aruba and we learned a lot about aloe. This is well worth doing and is free!

Loved this tour! It was free and very informative. I love their products, especially the hand lotion and chap stick. I used them every day now. I ordered a bunch of gifts for my family online and had them shipped back home, so I didn't have to travel with them in my suitcase.

I am in the process of starting a body care line (lather in love) that includes body butters, scrubs, and homemade soaps. I travelled to Aruba to learn more about an ingredient I use in my products...Aloe Vera. Although I wish we had more time at the factory, I still learned a couple of things. Unfortunately, we went on the weekend so we couldn't see any production happening. I love the stores and love that they have a website, however, I really do wish that the promotions they have online are available in-store. I think that would encourage more people to go to the factory and museum. It's a little frustrating when you see something online, physically goes to the store in Aruba, and it's not available. Other than that, I do like some of the products that I've purchased from them. I'm even thinking about doing wholesale on some items. If you're thinking about going, go!

Great spot to buy your products. Tours are more like a marketing and sales pitch but it was interesting to hear the history. You don't get to really see the work but get info on all their products. Their vitamin E is awesome and so are their lotions. Worth the money!

This is a stop worth taking if you have some extra time. Definitely recommend the tour which is about 30 min.The guide's presentation was interactive and a fun "listen"; all of which is free. Tour is best on a week day to view the plant in operation. The tour ends with opportunity to do some browsing and shopping in their Aruba store. Products are a bit pricey but of good quality. If flying, keep in mind what size products you can take on your flight. However there is an Aruba Aloe store located in the terminal after you go thru multiple checkpoints.

A fun experience. The museum was great too, learning the history of aloe and Aruba, all for free. Fun and interesting to watch the process, from above, in enclosed viewing hall. Tour guide was great and informative. The gift shop is wonderful!

This place was nice and informative. They showed videos on how they process their aloe to get the products. We were there on the weekend, so we could not see them in action. We were able to buy some of the products. They are not cheap at all, but the product is worth it. I got something for my eczema, and it lowered the inflammation.

I loved my free tour at the Aloe Factory. It was an educational and fun experience to see how things are done. I couldn’t help but buys half of their products... I think my favorite is the after sun. It’s a real 24hr moisture that makes my skin so soft and hydrated after tanning in the sun all day in Aruba. I told my husband after a day of using it and we’re hooked, I had to buy more before we left the island!

If you go to Aruba and don’t visit the Aruba Aloe Factory and Museum, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice. This place is AWESOME! I’ve used their products for years, but never visited the factory until recently. Basically, this stop shows you the history of Aruba Aloe and how their products are made, then sends you through a colorful, beautiful little store. I’d highly recommend making a stop here the next time you’re in Aruba. You won’t be disappointed!

The staff is friendly, helpful, informative, and (as most locals do) speaks 5 or more languages. The tours are free and so is the museum. The gift shop carries all of their products and can ship most of it around the world for you. With all of the airline baggage restrictions, you may want to take advantage of this, since the larger bottles can't be in your carry on bags and the weight adds up quickly for your checked baggage. You will be happy you left the beach for a bit to enjoy this place.

Easy drive from the low rise hotels. We thought there was an actual tour (with guide) but it was museum-like. An area on the ground floor with some history, then upstairs the actual process of making the aloe products. It ends with a store where all different aloe products are available to try before purchase. Overall, if you have an hour to kill it might be a nice option.

We did not do the tour but simply walked around. Not sure if the tour let's you get close outside but we were not allowed to get close. We were only allowed to go inside. Fascinating to see the workers and the amount of care and attention goes into packaging their product. More hands on than machine work. Products are a bit pricey but worth it. Without the tour it only took about 30 minutes max and that was browsing the gift shop. No charge to get in. A lot of samples to try.

Interesting facility, store, and aloe fields. Wonderful presentation on history of Aloe in Aruba. Expensive products and sales staff are well trained to push sales. But the products are very good. Especially the sunburn lotion. Highly recommend the stuff.

At first this just felt like a sales pitch while on our tour. But the aloe fields stretch as far as the eye can see, and the products they sell there are easily the best lotion I have ever used. Many options from moisturizing, sun burn relief etc.

I came here as part of a tour but this was a very interesting place. I enjoyed learning about the history of aloe vera in Aruba. The production process was very interesting too. The best part was the gift shop where you could try and purchase all of their body products. This is a good place to come to learn about one of the original exports of Aruba.

I have used almost every single product they have and every last one does not disappoint.

Super interesting trip out to the Aloe Factory. The museum tour is free, and our guide was informative and taught us a lot about the aloe extraction process. Perhaps it was somewhat of a sales pitch too for the items sold in the shop, but it was really cool to see the factory. We ended up buying loads of products, and are excited to see how effective they are!

  • 5/5 Robyn L. 8 months ago on Google
This was a great stop and free! There was a tour that started outside, showing how people extract the aloe gel from the skin, and it continued inside above the factory rooms. They don't work on the weekends, but it was still interesting to see the equipment. The tour guide said most parts of the processes are done by hand to help support people in the community with employment. There are lots of products to try for free and a shop to buy them, of course. It's definitely worth checking out!

  • 5/5 Linda S. 9 months ago on Google
The gentleman who conducted our tour made it so interesting. He began with the origins of aloe on the island of Aruba, how it has progressed over time, and how development has encroached upon the acreage of land used to grow the aloe plants. He related how the plants developed into the beauty products we know today how they're made and ideas of how to grow your own alo and what to do with it. So glad I went!
