meh, there’s seaweed everywhere. at the time we were there it was very quiet which is nice, but not great for swimming unless you don’t mind going further out. If you like planes it is right by the airport so you can see the inbound flights.

Surfside is one of our favourite beaches to watch the sunset! The waters are incredibly clear (similar to baby beach) and it’s not super crowded with tourists. It’s such a vibe with the locals as well!

Very quiet, and clear water with small waves. Ideal for small kids, or for a calm swim. The floor slopes very gradually. (You can walk out about 20-30 meters and still be in chest deep water.) You can watch airplanes landing at the airport every once in a while. Reflexions restaurant offers umbrella+chair rental with washrooms and showers. An umbrella and 2 chairs rental for a day cost US$ 20.

Boasting scenic beaches, excerise stations, plazas and lots of relaxing outdoor dining. Bus stops and ample parking are available. Just a short stroll on the decorative shady sidewalk or along the beach to the main Orangastad hotel and entertainment area.

Small but beautiful beach. Little bar at the end with lounge and umbrella rentals. Parking is close, water is clear. Coral is very visible and lots of boats in view (planes too). Additional pics of the beautiful pier we walked to get there. Multiple access points to get in the ocean. We heard lots of birds and saw many different flowers. We did not see any shower spots.

Dinner time music is horrible and way too loud. Disrespectful to those dining near by.

We decided to settle on the beach closest to downtown. If coming off of the cruise, it will be about 20 minute walk from your ship. For everyone else, plenty of parking and couple of bars on site serving food and drinks. The beach itself did not have a lot of sand, it seems like it was all raked in front of a Barefoot restaurant that also put flower pots as barriers not to set up on their outdoor seating. They started setting their tables around 3:30 for 5 pm opening. Beaches in Aruba are all public but the barriers don’t seem like there are. There is also seaweed so not all places are good for swimming. Two cool things to note are watching airplanes fly very near the beach and calm waves which is great for the young ones.

It’s a small and cousy . Very close to the historical downtown of Oranjestad.

Picnic Aruba was excellent in beach Picnic! Food was amazing and service was good. Food selection for every eater, from vegan to non-vegan. Fish and meat dishes delicious, soup was on point as well as drinks (sangria). A must do to see the beautiful sunset!

Beautiful spot next to a great bar with delicious food and happy hour! Quiet beach nice water and a good view.
