It’s a beautiful experience! For me, it was the most impactful place in the service industry on the island. Recently inaugurated, the place has its own spirits with colorful murals and vintage pictures, but his soul is the talent owner that saw the potential of that centenary old house and she put her knowledge and passion to develop a cafe with modern and healthy recipes combined with an excellent and friendly service. I highly recommend to live the Aruba Experience Cafe.

Free parking lot. Friendly service. The menu is very cute because most of the items have a positive affirmation. Espresso was good. Green juice was great and fresh. The yuca tortillas were different. Their pernil was okay. Sauces were amazing. Cachapa was really good.

This is what they call a real hidden gem. It’s located just a short walk back from the main touristy drag, in a very quiet area. And it’s a proper local cafe full of locals. It stands out immediately when you turn the corner- it’s brightly coloured and immaculately beautiful. The building itself is a fully restored stone structure, and the cafe is fully air conditioned with lots of comfortable seating in each of the several rooms. There is also a wonderful bright and shaded courtyard out the back. The service is wonderful- so friendly and fluent in English. The coffee was fantastic! They absolutely know how to make excellent coffee. They also do pastries and food with a full breakfast & lunch menu. And as a bonus there’s free fast Wi-Fi too. We absolutely loved this cafe and it was a real find - so Unique and special. Highly recommended!

This was a very cute place. The decor and the ambiance was very welcoming. The food was 4 out of 5 for me since my dish lacked a bit of seasoning. However I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

They had quite a range of meals to offer. Everything was extremely delicious and the staff was very friendly. The outdoor aspect of it is definitely cute. You can pose for pictures if you’d like.

If I could have ordered more food without exploding, I would have ordered twice as much! So, so good! The yucca arepa with shredded beef, cheese, and sweet plantain was one the tastiest arepa sandwiches I have ever had! We also ordered the pancakes, they were vegan so I was hesitant. I wish I could have ordered a double stack!! They were so freakin good! Very nice ambiance, professional waitstaff. Best breakfast in Aruba!

Nice place with a good atmosphere. Good staff. The cappuccino was good. The matcha was great - not overheated milk. The cashew dessert was a 4. The check for a cappuccino, matcha with oat milk and a piece of cake was 19$.

Cozy ambiance, friendly staff. Lots of options, I also dig the way they used positive affirmations for their menu items. I had "I Am Unique". Normally comes with avocado but it was still delicious. I absolutely love their matcha latte! It's my favorite. I highly recommend Aruba Experience Cafe for their simple yet authentic breakfasts. They have vegan options also.

Stopped here on a whim and was blessed to find such amazing food and great service. Was greeted by the owner who is extremely kind and shows great enthusiasm when it comes to the customers dining experience. I ordered the “I am creative” and it did not disappoint paired with some fresh smoothies. I can easily say that was the best breakfasts I have had in a while. The shredded beef was amazing! Hope to return one day. *On another note .. I have seen some of the reviews here and I don’t think people took into consideration how hard it can be to run a restaurant (esp a full one) on an island. As guest we must be kind and courteous to our island hosts. Sit down order a drink, take your time, put your phone away, and enjoy the moment.

A wonderful place to rest, just a few blocks from the main street. A great menu, a variety of hot and cold drinks. Breakfast and lunch items. The video is of the outside seating. Indoor seating has air conditioning. I had the strawberry/lemonade and it was very refreshing. I had the ham, cheese, egg croissant, it was fresh made and was excellent. My wife had one of their salads and she enjoyed it. The menu was extensive, 6 pages, only took pictures of the first few pages. Would recommend it to anybody who is walking around downtown. Nearby is the archeological museum.

Take the detour! This was a little tucked away from the high traffic areas, but well worth it. The authentic Aruban food was spectacular. We had the I Am Creative assortment. Best black beans and real scrambled eggs I've ever had. The Dutch cheese was incredible. The design was so charming and the outdoor seating as well (best on a cool, early morning). The staff was very attentive and professional. Let me not forget the coffee. It was some of the best coffee I've ever had. I had a black coffee with cream. AMAZING! On my return trip to Aruba, I will be coming again.

We could not find parking in town because we did not have the local currency for parking. We parked a few blocks away in a less than desirable neighborhood and a nice gentleman drove up to us and said a tourist should not park there. He led us to this restaurants parking lot and said we could park safely there. My family was hungry anyways so we decided to go in to have something to eat. What a wonderful place, with wonderful staff and impeccably clean. The atmosphere is phenomenal and it reminds you of an old time cafe with all the modern touches. What a wonderful restoration to an old building. I would add an extra star to this place if I could.

Aruba Experience Cafe was amazing! We loved the interior, the service and the food! We had the Arubiano to drink along with the Aruba Experience Breakfast and the I Am Generous breakfast plate. Both entrees were great and portion sizes were large. We would definitely come back again!

We were looking for a light lunch place and online reviews said to check out Aruba Experience Cafe. The place was very nice with a good ambiance and nice staff. The food was decent but a little bland. The arepa was decent and the salad was good - the sauce on the side of the salad was excellent.

Love, love, love! The food was good, and the hostess and waitstaff were very nice. The ambiance is so cute and trendy. My only criticism would be that the service was a little slow... but once you're not in a rush, it's lovely. Pictured is the "I am Wonderful" with an added side of black beans and avocado; coconut lemonde and a Bellini.

Leave the resort and eat at this little gem!! I discovered this place by eavesdropping on another tables’s convo during dinner and am so glad I’m nosy! Lol The atmosphere, the service and the FOOD are all amazing! It’s only 4 min walk from Renaissance (just behind) and well worth it. I had a delicious mimosa, really around and full bodied coffee with almond milk( they have all the milks lol) and a delicious plate of scrambled eggs with tomatoes, black beans, white cheese and a spinach arepa. It took everything in my power not to gobble down this massive plate. I will be back tomorrow for sure. Edit: I came back for a second day and food and service was just as consistent. In particular I want to say a big thank you to Gladys who went out of her way to accommodate some additional requests from me. She was very nice and was all about customer satisfaction.

This place is so cool & I am so glad we brunched here on my birthday during our Aruba trip. The details are just incredible: the backstory on the menu, the mantras are the names of the food, the art on the walls, great staff, espresso, arepas. I will still be dreaming about this brunch experience for a few weeks. *we are vegan and loved the options!!** we recommend the arepas. Thank you so much, keep up the great work guys!!

This has been the best breakfast in Aruba! The prices were more than reasonable, food was great, and the Aruban iced coffee was hands down the best iced coffee I've found while here! Also loved the positive self talk mantra!

We easily walked here from the Renaissance Resort and enjoyed a quick light bite just before closing at 3:00. I had the Salmon bowl lunch special and my husband had the Spinach Arepa with chicken, both delicious. The staff was very attentive and gracious. The decor is very unique and eclectic, exactly our vibe.

Stunning building, very friendly staff. Unfortunately wasn’t impressed with coffee (too watery, milky, weak), my quesadilla was quite bland and all the stuff inside wouldn’t stick together so it kept falling apart as I was trying to eat. More cheese or smaller bits of chicken would solve it I think!

This is the first place my husband and I go when we get to Aruba! It's unmatched and locally owned (female owned and operated) and off the tourist path. The arepas and coffee are incredible and the atmosphere is created with historical design of the island, can't recommend this place enough!

First thing you notice about Aruba Experience Cafe is the beautiful and well thought out space. Coffee was good, and the breakfast was OK. Plenty of healthy options for all discerning patrons; menu mentions the cook is a bodybuilder. All the positive phrases used for items in the menu seem like a motivational poster, if you know what I mean. The Wi-Fi is really good. Staff is friendly.

This place is very disappointing in regards to not accommodating for babies. We checked in with the front staff, holding our 17 month old. They led us to a table with no high chairs. They didn’t have any and didn’t seem to understand that he can’t sit on a regular chair. The manager didn’t even care to help us. How do you have a restaurant but not a high chair or booster seat? I definitely don’t recommend this place.

Coffee shop that also does amazing breakfasts. The ambiance is perfect, don't let the parking lot desuade you from stopping by. The staff is also friendly. Great coffee and great food. Local art is also on the wall. I hope this place takes off!

last meal in aruba and wow what a send off. we got the arubiano- iced coffee and condensed milk (reminds me of viet coffee but less potent). to eat we got the aruban experience breakfast and the yuca arepa w chicken filling. both were SO GOOD! the aruba experience breakfast was scrambled eggs (so fluffy), avocado (soft), ham, toast, and cheese (melted). such a simple breakfast and yet amazing tastes. the arepa came with some sauce. we poured it all over our arepa. it was so good. the restaurant was also very cute and had lots of positivity :) def recommend.

Tha place has a cozy decor inspired in the local architecture of the cunucu house of Aruba which I love! They preserved the original walls and roofing... it looks breathtaking... The food is very good for a fare price. The taste of the arepas with a twist of veggies in it is amazing, and their cappuccino is just THE perfect end to my breakfast.

Love love love this place! Discovered this gem through Instagram and visited last year for the first time and of course had to come back this time around again. During a one week period I came back to this place 3 times. They have a lovely selection of coffees, smoothies, other drinks and food. Had spinach arepas and they were delicious. A little pricey but the atmosphere was so nice I never wanted to leave. Lovely historical building with cute french chairs and inviting decor. Definitely will be coming back. Great spot for coffee, breakfast or lunch.

more of a 4.5. An amazing place with great menu selections. The long pulled coffee was fantastic, the breakfast plates were perfect (size and taste!). The layout and whole atmosphere is done amazingly. Will definitely be back. The service is students, while it was good service, it was not great, so that area needs improvement. We had to ask a few times for water refills and it was not that busy. Just a minor improvement that would give it a 5!
