A free cave to see while in Aruba a great experience. We got a chance to see the Indian marking on the cave look at the pictures close and you can see them. Also it was a natural spring that the fish will give you a free pedicure on your feet I tried it and the experience was great.

Nice place to visit if you like history. When you enter there’s a guide there that explains you the history of the place and show you the symbols on the wall. Sadly the place now has opening times as some people were damaging the caves scratching them and making graffitis. After you go out from the cave, you can go the litter river there’s next to it and put your feet for the fish to eat the dead skin. The parking is free

You do not need a 4x4 to get to the Cave. The parking space is right in front of the cave area and there are rangers on site to give you information if you're interested. It is free to walk through on your own.

This cave was fantastic! We visited as part of a jeep tour with ABC tours where we also visited the natural pool. The cave is beautiful and has old markings.

Interesting cave, but not much to explore. There is a little fish pond 2 minute walk from the cave where the fish nibble the dead skin on your feet.

Worth it just to see the Indian cave drawings. Amazing. Very humid inside. Make sure to visit the little pond out back with the fish that give you free pedicure.

Was a very nice limestone cave system, walking paths to help save it for the future. Lots to see, insects, bats and other animals are in the cave.

This cave is very cool! Great history and a bit exciting. There are giant centipedes in there with big pinchers so watch out. Bats as well.

This is an amazing place of history and reference. It is sad that some of the artifact has been destroyed by visitors. Nonetheless, it still is an inspiring place to visit that is quite, tranquil and fun to explore.

The Fontein Cave is the most popular of the caves as it is the only one that has the drawings of Arawak Indians on the ceilings, providing a real sense of island history to this cave. Only $11.00 to enter Arikok National Park. Beautiful water around the area.

Great experience seeing this cave. History and nature are alive in here. Easy access and the rangers have a ton of information. Watch out for the giant centipedes!

Very cool cave with native artwork on the walls and ceilings. The park ranger Carlos was awesome, he took us through and told us some of the history and we put our feet in a little stream where the fish come up and give you a pedicure. Carlos offered to take us to some hidden gems around the island the next day. We had other plans but two if my friends went with him and they said it was one of the best days they had in Aruba. He took them to less touristy beaches, spear fishing and to some natural pools and bridges.

Cool cave, large and interesting formations. Lots of bats and centipedes. Totally worth the drive and stop. Got there in an SUV, not 4x4. Road was a little rough, but not too awful. Continued on to baby beach, another great stop

Very limited experience but the guide has a wealth of knowledge of the caves and their history. Lots of cool stuff to see, and the only fresh water spring on the island is nearby.

We drove out to this cave, not knowing what to expect. We lucked out and were able to join in on a guided tour, with permission, and got to hear some really cool facts about this cave. The cave paintings are over 1000 years old, and the creepy crawly things only get bigger the deeper you go. You only get to go in 50m of the 500.

A small cave with carvings from first nations. It's nice to see but nothing special. I like the Guadirikiri cave better, that one is bigger and more beautiful. Afterward, you can walk to a very small river and the fish in the river will give your feet a pedicure, I didn't like it but my partner was having a great time, haha.

Beautiful natural landmark. Definitely very creepy in there. Wanted to go further in to see the bats and yet it got very narrow. Have the chance to see lots of critters if you want to as well.

We went to Arikok with the family. Took the time to visit every place, to walk the trails to the small hills, the beaches, and the caves. The caves were an amazing experience for my parents (first-time visitors). Is just wonderful what nature can build and how it has been beautifully preserved.

Visited this cave from an Island Jeep Safari tour. It's very dark inside but there is a walk path to follow. There were some bats inside too.

  • 4/5 Marc S. 3 years ago on Google
Cave was cool, but couldn't go in too deep.

  • 3/5 Andrew A. 2 years ago on Google
Small and dark. Worth a quick little stop. It's beautiful, but the graffiti on the ceiling made me sad.

  • 4/5 Jamz Y. 2 years ago on Google
Ancient cave used for shelter and daily life. Drawings show a family, turtles, etc. There's a cool stone gong inside that can be used for people to gather, probably by the local shaman. You'll have to duck low to get deeper into the back, cool to explore with kids.

Probably the more interesting of the two caves you can go in, especially if you have the park ranger talk to you about the history of the cave. Note the date on most of the old inscriptions; they look like grafetti but date back to the 1800s and 1900s (with a few new ones, which is partly why they lock them at night now). You are more likely to see the bats in the Quadakiri cave. Don't forget your pedicure before leaving (ask the ranger or follow one of the tour guides to the spot)

A must see when visiting Arikok park. The cave is relatively small and since recently, has a metal gate preventing the access outside business hours. There is a park ranger that provides information about the cave. Lots of ancient aboriginal drawings on the ceiling. Unfortunately some irresponsible tourists damaged them, wrote their names on the cave walls, hence the presence of the ranger and the metal gate.

So fun. Caves are exciting. It was humid, but better than being in the sun.

  • 4/5 Keb 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful but a lot of graffiti from the past 200 years. Still interesting to see although some paintings have faded.

  • 5/5 Roddy G. 1 year ago on Google
This was a nice little cave to see, now it is small like small as in it takes about 30 seconds to walk the entire thing, but the coolest part about it is the primitive writing throughout the walls which is always neat to think about someone hundreds of years ago making the drawings your looking at. All the staff and rangers at this park are so nice and informative.

I loved both my tour guide and the cave itself. We didn’t book a tour here, yet when we arrived we were given one by a friendly staff member. He showed us around the cave and gave us a history lesson about everything inside. He even spoke to our kids and got them interested in everything he spoke about. We also explored the area around the caves and ventured toward the old mansion, sat and have the fish tickle our feet, and saw a few goats walking around. A great experience overall.

This cave was unbelievably cool! We saw over 1,000 year old cave drawings. Wow 👌 👏 I highly recommend it

  • 5/5 Robert G. 11 months ago on Google
Absolutely amazing. Not only do they have cave drawings from indigenous people from thousands of years prior, there is also historically relevant graffiti (from the 1500s and such) that has a story behind it. The tour guide is very helpful and a wealth of knowledge. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

The caves are a nice change from the beautiful water that Aruba has. They are not big but are beautiful and it doesn’t take that much of your time. The bonus is that you get to see other beaches that you might have not seen if you didn’t go there. The three stars is because you can go to both caves within 10min

  • 5/5 Heather M. 3 years ago on Google
Great place to explore and see ancient petroglyph from Arowak natives. Be considerate of others and stay quiet when visiting. Noise disturbs the bat colony!

Interesting cave. Some great native cave paintings. Protected habitat for a specific species of bat, so you can only go so far into it. Had some nice stalactite/stalagmite formations.

While very interesting and historical, there isn't too much to see here. Definitely show interest and the guard that is there will show you some of the highlights We spent more time at nearby Quadirikiri Cave.

I'm a tour guide, and I took my guests to check this attraction out on the 16th of November. We were met by the Arikok Rangers and these gentlemen were very professional and from the way they were explaining the origins of the paintings, they're also very passionate about the roots of Aruba which is something to be admired! The historical aspect alone should peak your curiosity. The cave has several native paintings that date back at least 900 years ago, and several mini formations of rocks. Afterwards, the rangers took us to a pond where we got a pedicure by fish. These fish eat the dead skin off of your feet but you shouldn't worry, at most you'll feel a tickling sensation. Definitely worth it to check this place out.
