Nearly everything in each stall is the same. Tourist trinkets like magnets, bags, and cover ups. There is one jewelry stall though with wonderful, unique handmade pieces - the best I've seen on the island. Prices are a bit higher, but still nowhere near the high-end brand shopping of neighboring stores. It doesn't have a name, but the prices have tags for "kacey's gifts and things."

I was looking for some souvenirs & a few dresses to take back from Aruba. Each of the little shops were small & the owners were very nice. I found a couple things that I was looking for, but the nicest shop was a this one with hand made jewelry & it was of really good quality. I bought a beautiful bracelet & earrings to wear later on that evening for my birthday dinner.

Some of the shops close earlier than others. They are closed on Sundays. Some had really great prices so we bought more merchandise. One shop had a lot of nice made jewelry with fair prices. One shop had a lot of souvenirs to choose from at fair prices, one had really nice aruba hats for $5. One had nice embroidered bags for $5 and white Aruba t-shirts all sizes for $5. All of their merchandise was cheaper than the booths at Palm Beach shopping center. Get there early because parking is tricky. There is a lot of construction going on for the cruise ship docks.. 7/2020

Great opportunity to support more of the locals but watch your stuff. We unfortunately were there when a woman was pickpocketed from her purse (phone and credit card taken). It's super hot inside these tents so be prepared...

Nice spot a lot of different eclectic stores. Not as nice as the other flea market. I really enjoyed the other one. They had a lot of good deals. This one, though, has different stores than the other one, and there are a lot of good vendors as well. Make sure you check it out

Great place to grab some cheap touristy souvenirs to take back home. All local people with some great items for sale. Lots of random cheep things, but we decided to walk through all of them first before deciding to buy anything.

A true local experience! Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Very reasonable prices--- not price gouging like other shops in more touristy areas. The vendors were not pushy or overbearing at all!

Cheaper prices on everything dont buy close to the hotel.

  • 3/5 Mimi H. 3 years ago on Google
Not a bad location to stop and do some shopping. COVID has Really hurt their business so less than half of the stalls are actually occupied and being used. Be prepared when you go in to be bombarded by the people working there selling you their items. They are friendly about it and yet are very intentional about selling stuff to any tourists that come along because not that many tourist do. Make sure you bring cash. They take US dollars or florins. They are open to barter and some of the stalls sell the same things so make sure to make your rounds in case you find someone offering a better deal. You can time some really unique gifts at a great price

At least during COVID, the local market wasn't worth the time. It was mostly old junk, a small stand with fruit and a few stands with cheap aruba t-shirts, jewelry and kids clothes.

Do not expect too much from the market unless you love 'I love Aruba' souvenirs. (Original) Vooral veel souvenirs en ook veel dezelfde souvenirs.
