10/10 would recommend! Absolutely adored this experience. One ticket gets you a tour, entry into the farm, and an unlimited pass to the farm as many times as you’d like (we went twice!). The tour guide was extremely informative and I learned a ton! There are plenty of props and examples provided as well to explain all about butterflies and moths. You’re able to get a deep look into how the butterflies are taken care of at all stages of life. Truly fascinating and an endless diversity of butterflies and moths that make this place enchanting! 🦋

Very small farm and not much to do for the price. They charge $19 per adult and offer a free pass to come back again. While the place has some varieties of butterflies and it's a pretty farm with lots of flowers, it's very small. As some of the reviews have mentioned, a more appropriate price would be something like $5-$8. But how else would you fleece the American tourists?

It's a really fun experience to have here! I thought it was pretty cool getting to be so close to so many different species of butterflies. With your ticket comes a brief tour that provides some context and insights about the different species as well as their purpose on the island. You get to stay as long as you'd like and the tickets were valid for a week so we were free to come back and visit multiple times during our stay. There's a neat little gift shop as well as a smoothie bar/pastries for you to enjoy. The staff was helpful and kind. This is something I highly recommend. You can get some pretty neat pictures here!

We had a wonderful visit to the butterfly farm with the family. It’s a great place for all ages! We really enjoyed our tour guide and we learned a lot of facts on butterflies. I would recommend the visit and the admission is valid for your entire visit.

Great place to get away and watch all the colorful butterflies. They have a nice guided educational segment, then you can stay and walk around the enclosure to view the butterflies.

Highly recommend visiting and taking the tour! Our tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, kind, and great with getting across a lot of information in a short period of time. The tour is mostly informative, but is really enjoyable. We were able to walk around and even get to have a few butterflies land on us. This is a great spot for kids and adults!

Staff was incredibly knowledgeable. Cold beers, water, and sodas can be purchased to drink along the tour. With the purchase of one ticket, you could make several visits at no additional cost. The entire garden could be walked in about 10 minutes, if you're doing it without a guide. By the way, the guided tour is no additional charge.

Best $19 you'll spend on the island! You get a brief tour where you learn about their butterflies and see various types at various life stages up close. They will land on you if you're sweating, wear bright colors, and or have a citrus perfume on so I highly recommend all of those things. After the tour you can walk around freely and take pictures.

Beautiful butterfly farm in Aruba with so many different varieties of butterflies. Excellent and knowledgeable tour guide was so sweet and super informative. Very nice gift shop too. Great place to spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours (personally, I could of spent all day!) The Butterfly Farm is located near Palm Beach. Bonus…your ticket is good anytime to return to the farm during your stay on the island.

What a magical place! We went early to beat the heat. The guides were really knowledgeable and we learned a lot. My husband enjoyed taking photos. After you buy a ticket, you are allowed to visit as many times as you want for the rest of your trip.

This was such a fun experience! Definitely go on a tour if you have the chance - you learn so much! The place is a big screened-in/ mesh room and it gets pretty humid so definitely bring water and eat beforehand.

The butterflies are beautiful! The place gives you a tour that explains the life cycle of the butterflies and even involve the small children with a little dance. They have tour guides in many languages and the cafe outside has great snacks, teas, lemonade, coffee, etc.

What a delightful experience it is to walk into the sanctum of beauty and peace that is The Butterfly Farm. The tour taught us so much - but quite honestly - it was the grace of the butterflies’ flight, and the quiet of the space (with just the right background music) that created this magical experience. If you’re in Aruba for a few days, go early in your trip so you can make a FREE return! Whether you stop by once or numerous times - you’ll be so glad you did!

Amazing venue. Worth the money because you can come back unlimited amounts of time during your trip to see all the butterflies. They have a tour as well to teach you all about the butterflies and their stages of development. Such a tranquil location.

Cute place to take in some nature and see a lot of beautiful butterflies. Friendly and informative staff. Clean bathrooms. I do think it was a little over priced for the experience, however the ticket can be used for multiple visits. I just think that things like a small containers of food for kids to feed fish should not incur an extra cost, even if just 25 cents, after such a high admission fee. Otherwise, great excursion, especially for kids.

Hard to get to but beautiful spot. We went and enjoyed our last day but needed some cold drinks after because it was HOT! You can see this in a couple of minutes. It is a small enclosure. The cost is $19, wish they did more than just raise butterflies and funds for their garden... they have the safe haven to repopulate and help with pollination perhaps?

Nice little place to look and learn about beautiful butterflies, moths, and their short but interesting lives. We listened to a guide tell the story of the farm and the importance of having butterflies in the world. If you need a place to waste some time before your flight or hotel being ready, I would suggest here. We enjoyed walking around and purchased some cute souvenirs for my mum who loves butterflies 🦋

I don't know that I'm a huge butterfly fan, but this farm is worth the stop. The staff here is amazing and give tours about the species in the farm. It was better then most tours I have been on! The butterflies truly have you leaving nostalgic. Worth a visit!!

Felt so serene amongst these delicate creatures. Can't help but to be happy on this tour. Lots of different types of butterflies and 2 types of moths. A fun activity on the island.

It was amazing. Hundreds of Butterflies and moths from around the world. Incredibly beautiful. They had all stages of the butterflies life. The little tour they gave was great. Well worth giving it 2 hours or more. Oh the smoothies were great.

This is a very beautiful place to visit! Be aware that butterflies will not land on you unless you’re wearing bright colors or a flower scented perfume, and even then, they most likely will not. So, don’t go in there with expectations. Nonetheless, it’s beautiful to see all the stages of a butterfly life cycle. They have eggs, chrysalises, and cocoons to display. It’s absolutely wonderful! Also, you can choose to have a tour guide at no additional cost, which I highly recommend! They are highly knowledgeable. Overall, this is a beautiful place to visit. P.S: Don’t forget to try the strawberry lemonade here! It’s to die for! (Although a bit pricey $7)

Such tranquility! Joshua was a great tour guide: knowledgeable, funny, warm and engaging. The butterflies are plentiful. There are also birds, fish and gorgeous butterfly-friendly plants. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and missed the Wednesday morning meditation.🥺

Beautiful sights with knowledgeable guides to take you through the life cycle of "flutter bys"! A great stop on our trip. Note, not a lot of walking but very close quarters, you are right in among the flora and fauna. Those with a came should be okay but a wheelchair would be very limited.

  • 5/5 Erik B. 1 year ago on Google
Great place with a lot of butterflies and someone explaining something's about them. It's an brief explanation but you'll get an idea of what they do. I loved it. The entree fee is for the entire stay that you are on the island. So we actually went back one day trying to get a better shot of some of the butterflies. I failed but still it's great to just be there.

If you are staying in Palm Beach or near, you must make the time to visit the Butterfly Farm. Adult tickets are $16, but it also lets you revisit as many times as you wish while you are visiting Aruba. The whole family can enjoy this experience. You can buy tickets on site at the entrance, which is also a gift shop and a cafe market. After buying tickets, you will form into a group tour. The tour is educational, and our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. She made the information enjoyable. She informed the group on the life cycles of moths and butterflies with actual examples. After the tour, you can spend as much time as you wish wandering around the enclosed tropical farm. It's a magical experience watching numerous varieties of vibrant colored butterflies in a lush garden of flowering host plants and foliage. There's two ponds, one with koi fish. There's also two resident parakeets. Just remember, if a butterfly lands on you, make a wish.

This place is small, but beautiful and quite the experience. One of my daughters wasn’t too fond of the butterflies flying around her so we left early. But I’ll speak for myself and say that it was fun anyways. We saw quite a few different types and they were just flying everywhere. I couldn’t get one to land one me but I still enjoyed being around them.

Awesome place if you like butterflies and nature. Guides are well versed and worth the time. Butterflies of all colors. Koi pond. Beautiful flowers. See the egg, caterpillar, chrysalis and hear the story.

So cool! Well worth the money. you can go back as many times as you want on the same ticket. Go for meditation on Tuesday(?) mornings. A magical experience. My only complaint is the meditation was pretty cramp - not covid approved/ the woman leading it even encouraged people to take masks down, we are after all in a pandemic. But the normal times it's perfect, walking around in half indoor/half outdoor net cage thing with so many beautiful butterflies.

  • 5/5 Irina Ioana C. 2 years ago on Google

Highly recommend The Butterfly Farm! The tour was informative and interesting and the staff was kind. We went in on a whim and loved it. We loved this little place! It was a reasonable price to enter and they give a card that's good through departure day to return for free! They gave a little tour/info session to educate people about the life cycle of a butterfly, and our guide was very knowledgable and funny. There are lots of butterflies all around the enclosed area, lots of variety. It's not huge and can be done in an hour. Highly recommend stopping by!

The butterfly farm is a great stop to take on your trip to Aruba. Added benefit that your admission serves you for the entire duration of your stay! The cafe is not an after thought either and I recommend it for an alternative to getting coffee in the hotel lobby or Starbucks.

What a wonderful little place to go and enjoy the beauty and wonder of butterflies. The building itself is rather small, but there is quite a large garden behind it that houses over 30 different species of butterfly. There are small tours lead by the staff every 30 min or so. The staff are all extremely kind and knowledgeable about the butterflies. We were even lucky enough to see some of the butterflies hatch! This place is definitely worth a visit.

The butterfly farm was lovely. We'd recommend going here for a nice, relaxing event with the chance to learn something. The workers here were very knowledgeable. We were lucky to visit when we did as the rare Atlas Moth had just hatched from the cocoon that morning. The workers informed us that they cocoon for 9 or 10 months and only live for a week so it was a rare sight! It's a great place for families, couples, or just a short solo trip. Doesn't take long to get a look and isn't too expensive. Well worth the trip!

  • 5/5 Maya M. 4 months ago on Google
I went today (Saturday) at 4 pm. They close at 4:30, so it wasn't busy at all. I was the last one to get a tour, but there was still a few people. The garden is small, you won't need more than 30-40 minutes, tour included. I thought watching the butterflies would be the most interesting part, but the mini tour is as interesting, surprisingly. I've learned some fascinating facts (that I won't be spoiling here). There are only a few parking spots available. I don't know how busy it usually gets, so take that into consideration. With your ticket, you can come back as many times as you want to during your stay in Aruba. I will go back in hopes that a butterfly lends on me haha!

  • 5/5 ER S. 4 months ago on Google
We dropped in here a bit on a whim. It’s a very nice place to spend an hour or so if you need a break from the beach. We stayed for the 20 minute tour and learned much about the butterfly life cycle. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Pros: A must visit when you're in Aruba! When you buy an entrance ticket, you can reuse it during your entire vacay! The tour guide inside talks a lot of informative stuff about butterflies and moths! It's a delight! Cons: the Christmas ornament balls are not really exclusive forvthd butterfly farm. It's $18 and in downtown it's only $12.

Definitely schedule The Butterfly Farm! May I suggest, depending on your length of stay. Choose a "down" day....a day after you visited the beaches, and completed some of your excursions. A day you don't have anything scheduled. My family calls it the recharge day. Usually in the middle of our vacation...and then we're ready to do more activities. The Butterfly Farm is a serene and pleasant experience. It slows you down and the tour guide packages their information in an easy to follow and captivating way. We really loved it!!!

A little expensive, but worth the money! This was a very enjoyable experience for our family and almost therapeutic to sit and watch the butterflies! The tour was wonderful and very informational. Although it was raining, it was still nice rainy day activity when we couldn't enjoy the beach. Great place to stop and have a fun little day trip. Only 2 local species of butterfly. The rest are imported, weekly, which is why I understand the somewhat high price of entry. I learned a lot about butterflies, cocoons, and molting, and the tour guides were very friendly.

Such a wonderful experience!!! The girls are so knowledgeable. I even had a butterfly lay an egg on me and the employee picked it up gently and placed it on milkweed. The gift shop was cool, we got some shadow boxes of butterflies. It’s extra warm in there so get water from the stand outside or their “adult” ice pops are good. It takes as little as an hour or you can spend all day, and you can go back another day if you want for free. I highly recommend supporting local places like this!

The Butterfly Farm Aruba is a MUST visit when in Aruba. As someone who travels often and visits butterfly houses whenever there is one I’d have to say that this one is probably the best. The tour is what changes everything. You get a whole new understanding of these beautiful creatures. You can visit as many times as you want during the duration of your stay in Aruba and they sell some drinks and snacks so you can sit and relax after you visit the butterflies.
