This
was
one
of
the
best
experiences
of
my
trip!
I've
been
riding
my
whole
life
so
I
was
definitely
looking
forward
to
this
and
I
was
NOT
disappointed!
I
had
so
much
fun
the
first
time,
I
decided
to
go
a
second
time
on
my
last
day
in
Aruba!
It
may
seem
expensive
initially,
but
for
what
you
get,
it's
totally
worth
it!
If
you
book
reservations
through
the
Gold
Mine
Ranch
website
you'll
save
$10.
They
provided
my
transportation
and
arrived
promptly
at
my
resort
for
pickup.
During
the
ride
to
the
ranch,
the
driver
will
provide
you
with
some
history
of
the
island
and
of
the
Gold
Mine
Ruins
that
you'll
see
during
your
ride.
From
what
I
hear,
most
of
the
horses/animals
on
the
ranch
are
rescues
which
truly
warms
my
heart.
Upkeep
and
maintenance
of
the
horses
is
very
expensive
and
knowing
that
most
of
the
animals
on
the
ranch
are
rescues
made
it
easy
for
me
to
spend
the
money.
They
all
seemed
to
be
in
good
shape
and
well
cared
for.
They
have
horses
for
all
skill
levels.
Even
if
you've
never
ridden
a
horse
before,
they'll
have
a
horse
for
you!
My
guides,
Candy
and
Daniel,
were
great
and
friendly.
Because
it
can
be
very
windy,
this
isn't
really
a
tour
where
the
guides
will
be
talking
about
history
and
landmarks
the
whole
time.
However,
they
will
answer
any
questions
you
might
have
and
are
great
about
taking
pictures
for
you.
They
were
also
very
impressive
horsemen!
Because
I
had
experience,
Candy
briefly
took
me
away
from
the
group
and
we
cantered
at
the
oceans
edge
and
up
the
white
sand
dunes.
I
thought
this
was
such
an
added
bonus
that
other
locations
may
not
offer.
Thanks
Candy!!
During
the
tour
you
will
be
able
to
see
some
unreal
views
of
the
gold
mine
ruins,
white
sand
beaches,
the
hidden
lagoon
and
valley,
baby
natural
bridge
and
the
untouched
Aruba
desert.
You'll
even
get
to
walk
your
horse
into
the
ocean!
When
returning
back
to
the
ranch,
you'll
get
to
reward
your
horse
with
a
carrot
and
have
the
option
of
purchasing
your
personal
photo
in
a
Gold
Mine
Ranch
frame.
I've
seen
some
reviews
on
here
that
complain
about
the
horses
not
getting
water
at
the
end
of
their
ride.
PLEASE
NOTE
that
it
can
be
life
threatening
to
give
your
horse
cold
water
immediately
after
your
ride.
The
horses
MUST
cool
down
before
drinking
water
or
they
could
colic.
Don't
be
quick
to
judge
the
care
of
the
horses
if
you
have
no
equestrian
experience.
Be
sure
to
dress
appropriately!
Long
pants/jeans
with
closed
toe
shoes!
No
flip
flops
or
shorts,
unless
you
want
to
be
extremely
uncomfortable
the
whole
time.
Wear
plenty
of
sunblock
because
you
will
be
under
the
hot
sun
for
over
an
hour.
Helmets
are
provided
if
you
want
them.
Truly
an
experience
I
will
remember
for
a
lifetime.
It'll
be
the
first
thing
that
I
do
when
I
return
to
Aruba!
